Not sure if it's sad or happy, but the basic premise of it is Clora getting frustrated/upset at Sebastian and Sebastian comforting her, Sebastian getting upset at a predicament Clora's in and Clora comforting him, and them both getting frustrated/upset and having to comfort each other.

brainstorming is defs my fav part of the process and the most helpful part to me. just getting a blank document and writing stuff you want to happen without worrying about how it connects to the story, and then a lot of the times as i was doing that id just keep going and it would kinda tie itself together/id come up with a solution as i was writing / once the ideas kept flowing. so basically : TIMELINES AND OUTLINES I VERY MUCH RECOMMEND, but very low pressure and barebones ones. for example, this is what my outlines/brainstorming look like

its honestly just me talking to myself LMAO, and a lot of the time ill interject and be like "OH YEAH AND THEN THIS CAN HAPPEN" as the ideas come while im writing BAHAHA. its a super fun process and honestly nothing feels better than just getting hit with that flash of inspo, and since its all very low effort theres no pressure to actually write well and its just a chill fun time AND GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR OWN PROCESS / WRITING💖💖💖it can be difficult but HOPE U HAVE FUN TOO💖💖

A random headcannon: You're getting several. I have too many.

Cain has a few tattoos and when Anna and Noel first saw them it took him like. Two weeks to convince them that they really were permanent and Actually In His Skin and that he wasn't drawing them on every morning lmaooo

As for what the tattoos are, I imagine he has a small Jolteon on his ribcage on his side because it's his favorite eeveeloution and also the person he was dating at the time had a Jolteon. He was 16 and an unsupervised teenager, be nice >:( He will lie about the origins of this one tho he'll tell people that it's of Arc's jolteon and it was a best friends tattoo lmaoo. It also was his first tattoo!

He also has a purely aesthetic one on the top of his left forearm that's of a purple eye crying like, blobby space goop tears. It looks cool and is ourple. Next Question.

He has some random stick-and-poke flowers and other small designs on his shoulders that he got from friends and other random impulse nights.

His favorite and the biggest one is on the outside of his right calf and goes from ankle to knee. It's also the most personal one to him. It's a burned apple tree with various symbols formed in the patterns of the wood grain on the tree of things important to him. Some of them being the trans symbol, the posion type symbol and a flying bird (representing freedom) The overall meaning of it is based off the saying "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree" and is symbolizing him doing what he can to fall as far away from his "tree" (family) as he can, doing what he can to break that cycle of abuse and not become like his parents.

He also has a few piercings!! He's got multiple ear piercings throughout his ears, an eyebrow piercing and a tounge piercing.

Kind of related to what I said about his last tattoo, it hit me one day that despite how innuendo-filled his talk can be, Cain is one of the few characters who never swears, even cleary going out of his way to use more tame language. I hc that when he was younger and still lived at home, (i hc that he ran away from home when he was like 15 and just struggled throuhg life best he could until he was able to collect himself) he did swear and yell a lot because. It seems like yelling and loud arguments and cussing people out was kind of the norm, but once he got away and was able to get to a point in his life where it wasn't jsut Survival Mode doing what he could to keep going forwards, he kind of took a step back and realized that he could distance himself from being like his mother by not swearing and yelling all the time like she did. I don't exactly have the best words to describe it but that's like. the basic idea of it.

General Opinion over said character: Absolute love. Blorbo of all time. Such a skrinkly i've rotated him almost nonstop in my brain since i first met him, literally Such A Character. But also more seriously, I do also realte to him on a pretty personal level, with his anxiety about how he doesn't have a clear plan for himself and feeling alienated from his peers because of it how he's never really had grand plans for himself or known what he's wanted to do, like. I'm literally the EXACT same boat there so that part especially of his character, it just HITS. I also think A LOT about his dynamic with Aya, and just the whole thing of how they very clearly have hurt eachother A LOT unintentionally just tying to survive their own home, and that idea of yeah they both fucked up to different degrees, but how do you Not fuck something up in a situation like that and then them working on healing and trying to become siblings again and i just- FFFUCK its Good. and i haven't finished the maingame yet (though im working on victory road so im close!!!) so it's still a lot of just speculation for me, but GOD i just. Them. Dude, I could write literal essays about the LaRue siblings. But Cain has easily become one of my top blorbos ever and probably will for a long long time, like this funky little purple guy just holds such a special place in my heart and makes me so happy and, just, yeah <3 <3 <3 <3

As you asked, i am using Publishing Goblin's Oracle Dice. I am casting 5 dice that i picked because they relate to life in general, and relationships. They are called : the Autumn Die, the Summer Die, the Spring Die, the Winter Die, and the Relations Die.

After casting the dice, i look at patterns and shapes. They have spread to roughly the 4 corners, with the Autumn die in the middle of it all. Relations is in the top left, Summer is in the top right, Winter in the bottom right, and Spring in the bottom left. A well balanced reading already.

The Autumn die is in the middle, so let's start there. It's showing the face Journey, which signal the end of the work, the arrival after a long journey, and enjoying the spoils. It seems no matter how long it will take you, you will end up enjoying a fulfilling married life, with the condition that you work for it, probably continuously.

The Summer die is on its Radiance face, letting you know that as seasons circle back and you have to put effort into your relationship again, the rewards and pleasure will be there everytime. In summer you will most enjoy each other's presence.

The Winter die is on its Memento face, a reminder that things end. After the joyful exertion of summer, and awaiting more work or other events, it's ok to look back, appreciate and let the memories carry you for a time. What would you do the same or differently ? inko:

inko’s quirk doesn’t have an official name but it’s basically attraction of small objects, as such we saw her quirk at work when she pulled izuku’s figurine from the floor. but without disclosure of how small she can attract, i’d love to think that she can attract even smaller materials. materials like atoms, compounds—matter.

or, even at a frightening scale, cells.

not that she’s purposefully pull at someone’s cell/s to reshape or disturb the flow of the body. also i’m not a science major and i don’t have much interest in science so idk how accurate this is BUT pushing past irl semantics, imagine:

inko’s quirk is more than a surface-level quirk; it can fix or ruin an object’s construction, often by remodelling its foundation. it used to fuck with villains (and heroes pursuing her alike) back in the day because no one knows how her quirk works, and so they don’t know how to fight her back. next thing they know is that the gun in their hands is falling apart, or their car is swivelling off the road.

outside of her quirk, i see inko mastering judo. idk much about martial arts but my friend (who studies them) basically described judo as a martial arts that uses the opponent's strength against the artist. it teaches ground work and prioritizes drilling techniques. in judo, striking hard is not a necessity. and it fits inko! because her quirk is very versatile, she doesn’t need much physical prowess to win, often utilizing techniques with her quirk.

she was dangerous so no wonder the heroes wanted to apprehend her because if she slips into the dark side, they’re in trouble.

of course she didn’t, but the heroes never caught her too. just one day, she retired and no one knew where she went. there were talks in the underground saying that she settled and had a kid, but how real are underground talks?

mitsuki:

mitsuki’s quirk is glycerin which basically gives her the ability to secrete glycerin from her skin. tbh we had a hard time brainstorming about mitsuki but alas we persevered because bamf mitsuki is something we all need.

because glycerin contains antimicrobial and antiviral properties (which approved it to treat burn and wound injuries), it usually helped mitsuki heal and treat her burns because she often found herself getting exploded at whenever she was out fighting villains.

and since she can’t fight with her quirk, best believed she’s heavily armed and trained with multiple martial arts. mitsuki has greater connections than inko (really because of her job which gives her more flexibility in meeting these people), and basically has a trusted small team where she can get her armoury.

my friend imagined mitsuki taking more than one martial arts (i.e. taekwondo and jiujutsu) because her tenacity relied on the punches she could give. as much as she is armed, she’s more in-tuned with her body, thus combat fighting with the mix of martial arts make her very dangerous.

the heroes thought she was quirkless so they were never able to create an accurate profile of her. it fucked with heroes a lot because they don’t know how to approach her. she was quiet, strong, quick, and efficient, thus the heroes sent to apprehend her always lost her trail.

she was very different from inko. wherein inko was feared but loved by the underground, mitsuki was a friend of the police and even daylight heroes. not that mitsuki ever really teamed up with hero agencies in times of dire, but there wasn’t the presence of uncertainty in terms of her moral stance that many had with inko.

which was why it was fitting that when mitsuki officially retired, she sent a telegram to the closest police station she knows and they never got to hear from her after.

CORVUS CORVUS MY BEST FRIEND CORVUS!!!

I think part of the reason why I love her so much is because I’ve been playing her in a long running DnD campaign (thats quickly nearing its end 😥) that is incredibly well run and very character driven. *blesses the ground my dm walks on*.

Corvus is a very complex character that grew from “cool pirate vampire” to “kind and selfless being that needs to forgive herself for the mistakes of her troubled past and is also a cool pirate vampire”.

Corvus loves so deeply and fully and I think that’s why I latched onto her so much. She is never ever tired of life. She has never once been bored in her entire long, long life, because she sees the beauty in the world, and when that beauty started waning, she found her friends, who are now her family, and they taught her to love again.

She has a child named Leap (shoutout to @goblin-in-dress-hobbit-in-spirit for playing that lil glass canon) who she cares about more than anything in the world. I guess I have to add that Leap isn’t Corvus’s child biologically but I’ll be damned if she isn’t Leap’s mother. She is.

I also really just love drawing uggy characters and Corvus is real skrungly. I wanted to subvert “pretty means good” and made Corvus conventionally unattractive (tho I know there’s at least one person that will be like “hear me out”)

and jiang cheng.  being the tough love uncle . having raised the yunmeng jiang clan from the rubble all alone, his whole family dead, some of it on the blame of his own brother, his siblings, his closest friends gone.......and only jin ling there needing his guidance. 

THE PARALLEL BETWEEN JIN LING BEING A LIFELINE FOR JIANG CHENG AND A-YUAN FOR LAN WANGJI AFTER THE BATTLE AT THE NIGHTLESS CITY

and like . the fact! that lwj and jc dislike each other!!. jc projects blame onto him for wwx both “leaving” him and indirectly causing their families deaths and when hes so consumed by it he makes wwx an enemy, lwj is there now? trying to protect him?? and lwj, who can never understand the pain that wwx , indirectly or not put jc through, but who was right there when jc tried to kill him and will never allow him to hurt wwx again. and how they like. in a way project blame of their tragedies onto each other while dealing with some type of survivor guilt and in their own way still loving wwx through it all???  amd in way its kind of fundamentally selfish but also tragically understandable? and like when u put it against the fact that after he disappears during the sunshot campaign they were looking for him together and fought together??

JUST. THE CHARACTERS. AND THE RELATIONSHIPS IN THIS. MAN. UGH. GOD. 

and like i think thats what makes it so good? its such a sad and painful and violent story, edgy even, but its compelling bc at the center of it there are all of these relationships and different types of love and hope and. :( i love it

i Enjoy that, over the course of story, wwx sees that... theres nothing truly to Do, but move on. he saw how his arrogance and his mistakes hurt others, and hes trying to fix what he can, but he already did die for his mistakes and there are things he cant fix and that's. just how it is. even towards jgy, the narrative doesn't go gleefully and completely with "lets make THEM pay bc theyre the big bad" bc its not that simple, and it wouldn't lead anywhere but more pain...

re him and jiang cheng and the wens and kinda. isnt that what nhs did? scheming to displace jgy out of revenge more than any justice and doing so in the most painful way?

i think u can tell from all 3 sets that they’re v diff ;-; my colourings usually vary a lot and largely depends on the set i’m working on, so the way i tried it out w a new style/colouring also differs~ 

what is always consistent is i will try to bring out their....skin colour + other colours i can take out from the bg, ig? idk the word for it but what i’d do (as u can see in the first set) is i’d get rid of the lone colour that makes up the whole video/scene, and slowly work my way there. i just don’t like my gifs to only be that (1) colour, which is what tends to happen w bts’ videos etc 

i tried to do something a little more gentle and subtle for the second set~ i think my go-to resembles something a little harsher in a way that highlights the colours (if u can’t tell i love messing around w colours) so i tried toning it down a lil<3 

for the third set i just messed around w the bg and i thought it looked Good in purple too and also this scene was so hard to colour :/ i think i’ve worked on this for a few days before just shelving it in my drafts till i dug it out for this challenge and finally got it to work~ 

this challenge killed my goblin brain T^T i dunno what to do w the new colouring so i’m glad i could at least offer 3 variations<3
