HOLY CRAP I FINALLY DID IT!  STAGE 9 NAGO FINISHED, AND ACHIEVEMENT EARNED!

I hear you already.  You ask “Well what’s so difficult about this fight?”

To even get here, you need to beat every stage of Arcade Mode without losing a single round.  When you get to Stage 8, you also have to beat an insanely aggressive and overpowered Nagoriyuki without losing a round.  You do, however, get the opportunity to lose there and retry if you end up losing a round.

At Stage 9, Nagoriyuki is in permanent Blood Rage (his attacks are buffed and deal more damage).  In addition, most of his attacks have more invincibility frames on them, meaning he can easily reversal you out of any situation.  BUT WAIT, THERE’S MORE!! His health is cranked to overdrive, as he has the equivalent of two health bars per round.  You’ll see during the fight that his blood gauge empties when he gets hit, and draining it will stun him until it’s charged to full, or until you land another attack.  Benefit here is your next attack or combo string deals more damage than it normally would.

Anywho, if you have trouble reading the end cutscene subtitles, just turn on CC for the vid, as I’ve added them in without anything blocking the way.  I am so glad I am finished with this, and I will curse Daisuke for putting this into the game.

Justice was served.  This dude, in a previous set, decided to taunt me in the last game because I was at low health.

This is payback.  3-0 in my favor, and the added satisfaction of a perfect in a round that lasted 10 seconds in-game.
