Tubbo's kindness and care for his friends almost cost them greatly, but you cannot fault his wish to protect and help his friends. He has a good heart and wanted what was best for everyone; as he said, it wasn't that he doesn't want to win, it is that he doesn't want to force his friends to lose and eliminate a third of their friends. A tie was, in his eyes, a way to protect everyone.

Aypierre acted on his anger and fear caused by GGN's betrayal at the Egg War when GGN attacked them first, expecting a betrayal from them again in the end. Bad wanted a tie but worried that GGN were waiting for the last second to betray them, with Mouse's appearance especially making him panic. With Dapper's message that he had to win no matter what, he couldn't risk a loss.

Tubbo is being praised for trying to get the tie (as he should he was doing what he and everyone else thought was right), and Bad and Aypierre have made enemies in breaking it, but no one but ElQuackity knew that a tie would end in everyone's deaths and so, in the end, Bad and Aypierre's actions were the right ones...

The second cellbit jumped into that hole with tubbo he was doomed. When he jumped in he was immediately knocked down to 4 hearts. And he doesn't realize his hearts are low until he's at 2 and he immediately goes for the tea but it's already too late because tubbo doesn't stop digging the second he has started

AND YOU CAN SEE earlier in the clip tubbo digging at the ground and cellbit lands a hit on him before tubbo runs off into that bare bit of stone and cellbit follows right after

Perhaps they went into that goodnight knowing they had done everything they could.

Maybe they had a warriors feast; put together with all of the limited food they had available. Talked, ate, drank, laughed. Made a toast or two. Etoiles would have told about some of his kills in gruesome enthusiastic detail, and Fit, Roier, and Forever would lean forward to listen whilst Bagi scrunched her nose in disgust. They'd make jokes about their misfortune whilst calling out each other's strengths, never relenting in their quest to help and care for and hype up their teammates. Their family. Elquackity might join the festivities too, feeling for once what companionship is like, why people seek it.

Maybe they didn't know that evening would be their last; or maybe there is a certain melancholy nostalgia, a bittersweet solemnity that falls over soldiers who have just seen their last battle. Maybe they did know. Maybe they rested their weary heads, and felt their aching muscles numbing in their sleeps, and breathed sighs of relief.

if green loses today because no one logs in thats objectively Hilarious but also extremely tragic considering that means the last time any of them saw Green team was . the day they all had to kill each other.

which is kind of okay because that was objectively when green was at its height, even if they didnt Win the battle. they were a pvp power house. like 48 kills from etoiles, 27(?) from roier with no deaths, each other player sort of balancing around the 10-3 scale-- That's pretty good considering the odds.

but what would make it tragic is that it means they were all so exhausted from the battle of fighting for their lives, for their kids lives, that they just... couldnt get up. they tried so hard they fought so fucking hard and it just wasn't enough. they couldnt get up. they cant get up.

and if they sleep, well, maybe they won't be able to tell when they lose. they can keep riding the high of a well done battle and not think about what comes next. a silent, quiet, death. and honestly i think they deserve that.

It's interesting that GGN damaged the Soulfire egg but did not destroy it, unwilling to risk doing so just in case it would hurt or kill the real eggs, but when they got to the end there was... some regret about that choice. Because they got more kills than the other team, but the reason they lost was because they didn't destroy the egg. Had they destroyed it, they'd have gotten enough points to be considered the winners.

Meanwhile Bolas thought that GGN had destroyed the Soulfire egg, so they didn't hold back at all when they went after GGN's egg. It was only afterwards that they found out that the admins had removed Soulfire's egg when it's health was low, and you can hear the uncertainty when Foolish said, 'Oh... We were sure you guys had destroyed it." Because that meant Bolas is the only team who actually destroyed an egg in the end.

It's just an interesting switch in tone after the fighting.

Small dystopia au snippet cause I can’t commit to a full fic

The first days were especially rough.

Tubbo was surprised they survived as long as they did, enough to secure a few weapons and find their designated shelter. Which..wasn’t much, but it was enough to keep them stable for now. Even if it was ass cold and snow kept leaking in through the roof.

They fell back into old habits easier. Watch, rationing. It was all too easy.

That’s where tubbo was now, contemplating their next move.

Ggn were skilled. So much so that it worried him, but they seemed so oddly disorganized. And then there was bolas

Gods above, where to start with them.

Tubbo didn’t know, a cult of wild cannibals. It wasn’t pretty, how they hunted with hunger in their eyes. It gave him chills. Violence made them something less than human.

At least it was easy to distance the group from humanity, it made his morals feel a bit better.

Tubbo had killed before, too many times blood had stained his hands. But not like this, dozens of others, scratching for a chance to go home, to be safe. He couldn’t help but feel sympathy for his competitors.

He was always claimed to be too kind, he wanted to scoff at that now.

I find it interesting how Etoiles is salty about the 2v1 in purgatory, that fight did begin as a 2v1 but it was Etoiles and Fit vs Tubbo. Tubbo runs to join up with Bad. Bad and Tubbo and Etoiles and Fit engage 2v2. From this Bad and Tubbo are able to isolate Etoiles eventually able to kill him. There was unfortunate miscommunication between Fit and Etoiles however Fit initially backed off because Bad got him to very low health.

It did start unfair however it was the Green Gay Ninjas that started it.

(now character wise even creator wise I can understand the salt and that’s completely fine and compelling for Etoiles, however some frustration for me is with fans that either didn’t see the entire fight or are choosing to remember selective moments that becomes irksome)

OMG I just remembered it's Purgatory 1 year anniversary today. Holy shit, I'm a dumbass, how could I forget. Purgatory was literally my favorite event, yes I liked it more than the Prison event.

The prison event actually stressed me the hell out, while I was watching it (for some reason, idk why) while Purgatory was just so fun and cool to me. Especially as a BOLAS?!?! main. I know it stressed out a lot of other people, especially the CC's which I feel incredibly bad for and I do think that purgatory shouldn't have been that long, oh my god, but it was just really entertaining for me. Not only that but around Purgatory is when I joined Tumblr, so technically it's my 1 year anniversary of joining Tumblr... Huh.

Anyways, Happy 1 year anniversary to Purgatory! ❤
