No matter how controversial QSMP purgatory was, and how much I hated how it split the fanbase and ccs, I will never forget the final duel between Tubbo and Phil.

They were encouraged to fight dirty and use underhanded tactics by both the watcher eye and by their teams, but they still went for the honorable route by sticking to a sword, shield and a water bucket.

Then after we have the reconciliation where Phil realizes that Tubbo was fighting for Chayanne and Lullah like he was. There's no real bad blood after the duel. They aren't enemies anymore.

And finally the mad dash to the escape boat, Phil used his precious elytra to ferry Tubbo and himself to the boat. He could have left tubbo to die, but he didn't.

Fucks me up every time I think about it.

“You should be shirtless, Slime” is one of the most underrated lines from Purgatory. Cellbit just saying it completely unprompted, zero context, with the most casual delivery like it’s a totally normal comment. Everyone bursting into laughter. Charlie yes-anding when he changed his Bolas skin to be completely naked aside from his sash

And it’s made 100x funnier by the added context of q!Slime’s repeated attempts to hit on q!Cellbit, which Cellbit has literally never reciprocated because he’s a married man… except for this one moment where he decided he just really wants to see Slime shirtless
