This time we'll talk a great deal about Dizzy's Movelist History:
Frozen State (this mechanic dates back to BlazBlue's Jin Kisaragi, believe it or not… though this time you don't have to mash out of frozen state, you're in it until you get hit out of it or it thaws you out after a while), Frozen state can also extend "delayed combos" to some degree (similarly to Sub Zero Combos in Mortal Kombat).
"I used this to Catch Fish" (Formerly called Arctic Impaler): This used to have a high launch property, but it also have a Flame version in Xrd (For Searing Cod) a.k.a. "Fire Pillar". Now it more realistically freezes the opponent for combos instead of leading in to Air combos. Be thankful that you don't have to worry about a precise FRC Point anymore!
Ice Field: (They finally gave Dizzy a tool to maintain her distance from rushdown opponents, though you might have to get used to Ice-skating a bit when this is active, it also seems to impact the Momentum of various attacks. Just remember they can still airdash over the Ice to approach. If the opponent knocks Dizzy down in this state, the Ice will most likely STILL break, so watch out for that too.)
For Roasting Chestnuts : (Formerly called "We used this to get Fruit off Trees" / "Skull Crusher" Spear / Ice Spear/Flame Spear"): It's worth noting that older versions of this move had a great amount of tracking on the opponent's position. Also the original version of Skull Crusher had an Electric Shock Property, instead of Ice or Fire. It also hit twice: on startup and the projectile itself. The Xrd version of Necro's attack could charge up to three instances of the spear to attack opponents for extremely high flame damage (easily a Charge Attack if GG1 mechanics were applied). Dizzy's EX Fighting style could also do this move in mid-air!
We Talked alot Together (Formerly called "Hunger Strike"): This move had multiple versions, including a multi-bite, long range tracking bite, a Flame Laser, A Shield that absorbed an attack, and Dizzy's Gold Form Bits could even be controlled manually as long as they were out and active. In fact, so long as they WERE active, Dizzy could not be hit when they were nearby, as they would absorb hits in place of Dizzy. Necro's Flame Fish would also absorb a hit and counter-attack as well! By the way, the Flame Version was once called "We Fought a Lot Together". Most infamously, the Fish Laser could track upwards and completely dominate the airspace in front of Dizzy with the right setup, particularly when used with Impact Bubbles and Flame Bubbles.
Michael Sword (worth noting it is pronounced similarly to Mikhail Blade, of Guyver fame!): Dizzy's original EX version attacked the opponent diagonally in a downward cut, as opposed to the version Justice once used. This time though, Dizzy seems to have perfected the technique, and it even still has a Lightning Property as well! In addition, Dizzy uses her Arm and transforms it in to a Wing, similarly to how Justice used her long Fingers to morph them in to a blade. Last but not least, Justice had an Aerial version of Michael Sword in later patches of Accent Core Plus R, so Dizzy still has that untapped potential (including Saperia Trance, Justice' Forcebreak Dash Attack).
Wings of Light (also called Hikari no Tsubasa): This was originally a BOSS EXCLUSIVE attack for Gold Dizzy, and it took three different forms: a giant angled ray, a pillar of Light that erupted from the ground, and an Omni-Directional blast… worth noting, the Strive version seems to drain Health similarly to the Omni-directional version, however it does this as an Attack Field, and not an actual attack. Originally, Wings of Light was triggered after Dizzy performed multiple FRCs (Force Roman Cancels) and was technically a BURST OVERDRIVE, so it cost a great amount of Psyche Burst for her to use. This time, however, it drains her Tension gradually, though I do not know yet (as of this writing) if she can be hit out of the Wings of Light state.
Imperial Ray (partially derived from "When Necro Gets Angry/Necro Unleashed"): Originally Imperial Ray was a chain projectile and would drive an opponent backwards, forcing them to block for a long time or take a large amount of damage. This time, Dizzy's focused on a Trap-based Imperial Ray (though it still does not do as many hits as the original Imperial Ray Justice once had). Since this move is now a Meter-Reversal, Dizzy needs to manage her Tension carefully.
Gamma Ray: This move is mostly unchanged, however it is definitely not the Instant Kill version "Emotional Gamma Ray" that Necro is capable of! The original version was a massive Dragon's Breath attack, and it also started off with Necro firing two lasers above Dizzy's head, forcing the opponent to block in mid air if they didn't read the attack fast enough! This move by itself did not have much use when the opponent was up close and personal to Dizzy, and would often wiff up close, however I wouldn't necessarily think the same is true of the Strive version, so be careful!
Moves Lost: "Please Leave Me Alone"/Impact Bubble "What Happens when I'm TOO LONELY"/Flame Bubble "For Putting Out the Light"/Ice Scythe "The Light was so Small at First"/Flame Scythe Michael Sword EX (Diagonal Version)
Overdrives Lost: When Necro Gets Angry (Necro Hell/Unblockable Floor Trap) Necro's Hell Trap (EX Trap Overdrive Counter) Necro Install (EX Overdrive) Don't Be Overprotective (Ice Mirror)
Lost Instant Kill: "The power…I can't Contain it!" (Dizzy transforms in to her Gear Form and launches a powerful explosion.) Emotional Gamma Ray
Closing Notes: Dizzy is technically a "Replica of Justice" if Dr. Paradigm's GG2 Overture comment about her is to be believed, so there's no reason to doubt she can't do anything Justice could do. But, because of her nature, her battle strength will keep evolving, even now… so it's actually better if she DOESN'T FIGHT ever AGAIN!
Also, because of Strive's current mechanics, there are a lot less mid-air attacks than previous games had, but that might not affect Dizzy as much in this game, given her full potential.
Dizzy also has the power to Revive and Command Gears as a Command Type, so her true power is an untapped mystery at this point in the story!

A Guide On Lessening Yourself
(Or, What To Do Before They Cut You Open)
This guide has been created to prepare you for your upcoming procedure. Please read carefully and follow all directions in order to have the safest experience.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
- Do not eat. (Required; at least 3 hours before the procedure starts. No meats, no vegetables, no grains, and especially no fruits. Any remaining food that is being digested will get in the way.)
- Do not drink. (Required; at least 2 hours before the procedure starts. No water, soda, juice, soup, milk, coffee, or energy drinks. Any remaining fluids will get in the way.)
- Do not bleed. (Required; at least 1 month before the procedure. No paper cuts, nosebleeds, injuries or other form of your own blood leaving your body. Restriction of the expression of your mortality is imperative.)
- Do not dream. (Strongly suggested; at least 1 month before the procedure starts. No daydreams, no hopes, no wishes, no lifelong goals, and no nightmares. Avoid losing yourself within any fantastical trappings - these are the vestiges of a mortal mind.)
TIPS:
BEFORE
- Make sure to confirm your procedure date. Whether by checking online, asking your doctor, or praying, it's of utmost importance that you remember the specific time and day of your event.
- Make certain that this procedure is for you.
Though the process has already been scheduled, you still have options if you're unsure. Asking God or previous patients are the most authentic ways to learn about this process. Consider the benefits and consequences of the procedure as a whole - this will undoubtedly affect your life, but will it be more negative rather than positive? Will you be able to be happy again? If you are willing to accept such possibilities, continue on. Should you choose to, however, you may still opt out before the scheduled date by telling your doctor and/or healthcare provider.
DURING
- Make sure to arrive early to your procedure. Timeliness is key.
- Be flexible with your interviewers. Many angels are unfamiliar with human languages and may instead choose to communicate directly inside your mind. This may cause discomfort as well as the feeling of being stripped into nothingness. Don't panic and remember that you deserve a chance at holiness, regardless of your humanity.
- Be polite. Though your angel interviewers may have already visited Earth before, human customs are often difficult to adjust to. If an interviewer makes a social faux pas (such as revealing their true form), brush it off and continue the conversation as best you can.
- Be prepared for any questions regarding your past attachments, relationships, possessions, etc. If you've prepared well, you'll be able to answer with full honesty that you have left all possible remnants of humanity behind - that means no mistakes, no regrets, and no emotions.
- Should you pass the interview (you will be told after they have finished), be ready to experience anywhere from a small to large amount of pain. This experience usually lasts around 20 seconds, but some say it feels like an eternity of blinding, searing light. The scale of your pain will be a direct result of how successful you were at stripping away your humanity; the agony that follows will be the angels burning it off of you.
- Wait through the pain.
- Wait through the pain.
- Wait through the pain.
- Wait through the pain.
- Wait through the pain.
- Wait through the pain.
- Wait thought it.
- Wait through it.
- Wait
AFTER
- If you've successfully passed the interview, survived the procedure, and become an angel, congratulations! The following tips are only suggestions, but may help you in adjusting to your new existence.
- Avoid brightening your divine light too much at once. You'll quickly realize that your new eyes are far more adjusted to light than a human's, making the world appear dimmer than before.
- Avoid speaking out loud to others for the first few millenium, as this may cause harm if done incorrectly. Instead, practice "speaking" through the visual and audible expression of abstract concepts.
- Don't expect to visit Earth again. More often than not, angels avoid the human world (most say it's too painful to linger), so it's very unlikely that you'll return. Don't come back if you possibly can.
Finally, enjoy your new status as part of the divine. Not many people get to experience the feeling - you have made it! Please enjoy the rest of infinity.

Meet my Gentleman's Guide OC
Tumblr media
She is Phoebe's childhood friend who loves reading and composing poetry. She is the neice of Daisy Greville (the philanthropist that Lady Hyacinth has a rivalry with). I don't have much lore for her since I only created her recently, but I'm hoping to include her in a fic someday.

I’m going to make a quick guide about marvel rivals.
1. You will notice that either your control stick or the W key have the ability to make your character walk forward. This is important while you are on attack, I recommend using it.
2. The giant glowing circle is actually a good thing! Try standing in it before I stand on your balls!
3. In this game (and in life) there is more than 1 dimension! Try looking to the left or right if you notice you’re taking damage. ADVANCED TIP: there is a 3rd dimension too, it’s called up. You should look there sometimes before storm or iron man- never mind you’re dead again.
4. Do you notice how nobody on their team is dying? That’s because they are being healed. You can stop that by aiming at the woman, shark, glowing golden man, or evil raccoon.
5. I see that there is someone in our back line. How about rather than all of us chasing them, we leave that to one person and the rest of us put pressure on the rest of the team so they can’t shoot us in the back?
6. Do you notice you aren’t getting healed? Look around to see if you can see your healer! If you can’t, that means they can’t heal you! Because walls are solid objects! And respawning takes 15 seconds!
7. Do you remember tip 4? Well the enemy team may try to use that tip as well. This can be prevented by standing in front of your woman, shark, glowing golden man, or evil raccoon, when you notice a hail of bullets headed their way!
8. So you’ve decided to play support to prove it’s not that hard. Great! Stop aiming at the enemy. Your Storm and Thor can take on 4 of the enemy team if they have your support, and 0 if you decide dagger is a dps now.
9. You may notice some extra objects on the ground around you such as floating demon squids, a giant fuck off turret, a revive beacon, or a mechanical nest of spider bombs. You should shoot those.
10. For the final tip, you may notice that there are glowing bubbles around the map. If they are blue, you should stand in them/pick them up. This will keep you alive. They are not decoration as some may try to suggest, but actually ways to get constant or bursts of healing!
Follow these tips and be instantly better than 80% of the player base! If you are oblivious to your surroundings then I can’t help you.

Welp. The vet was very kind enough to give my guide dog an arthritis shot for free today and if this helps her I will be going into debt every month until she dies. I hope it helps her feel better. Old lady has done a lot for me in these nine years and I hope she can do one last big trip in a few months. The vet actually started crying and for a second I thought she was going to suggest we do something else for Petey. o_o But she was just really moved by how much this dog means to me and paid the bill for the shot out of her own pocket and waived the vet visit fee. It was really sweet. I still had to put about $90 on my credit card for antibiotics (she's got a skin infection again) but not having to pay an additional $160 on top of that helped.
Today was long and I'm tired and sad that my good buddy is getting so old. I dunno how long she really has left but I'll do my best to make it as good as my broke ass can manage. She's a damn expensive medical device (was already costing me about $200 a month as is and I live on a fixed poverty income) but I love her and she's worth more than money to me.

How to become Immortal in Soul Calibur 6
There's a nifty little trick you can do to guarantee victories in Libra of Souls Mode, though it takes a bit of crafting (and some skill) to pull off:
First off, you'll need a 3-open-slot Weapon with the following Three abilities affixed to it (I'll include the item drops associated with the abilities as well):
--Hero's Jade (Superb Quality) Attack/Defense+20% (Reversal Edge Followup Hit) --Tranquil Bloodstone (Superb Quality) Attack/Defense+35% (When HP is 30% or Lower) --Scapegoat's Turquoise (Superb Quality) HP Recovery 30% (When HP is 0)
In addition to these, you'll need to Feed your character one of two Food items prior to the start of a battle (you can buy these in the game's shops easily enough):
--Brandy (Superb Quality) Attack/Defense+40% (When HP is 30% or Lower) --Spicy Wine (Superb Quality) Attack/Defense+35% (RE Followup Hit)
Doing the math, your Base Weapon's stats (assuming you successfully won a Reversal Edge encounter) will give you a stat boost of +55% to Attack and Defense when your Health falls below 30% (the game's Lifebar has a little line indicator that can tell you when your Health is low enough).
By consuming either Brandy or Spicy Wine in addition to using this weapon effect, you'll get either +90% or +95% to your Attack and Defense stats regardless of what weapon you have equipped.
The effect will basically completely cut off all damage at the 30% Health mark, and no matter what tricks or effects the enemy opponent has, they absolutely cannot win.
And all you had to do was guess right once in a single match of Rock, Paper, Scissors!
Well, if you're not good at Janken (Reversal Edges), fear not! I've got a more casual alternative build for you:
Here's the materials you'll need for your weapon:
--Draught of Immortality (Superb Quality) Health+40%
--Draught of Regeneration (Superb Quality) Health Recovery every 1.5 Seconds
--Vampire Opal (Superb Quality) Health Recovery on Damage+20%
In addition, feed yourself either of these Food Items (You can buy them in the shops once they're fully upgraded):
--Chapati (Superb Quality): Health+60%
--Mandrake (Superb Quality) Health Recovery+50% (When HP is 0)
The Full Effect gives you +100% to +90% added to your base Health in addition to Regeneration on Damage and passive regen buff with no complicated requirements.
The enemy would have to absolutely overwhelm you to beat you with this buff, so it's actually a good build to use when you're practicing honing your skills in combat until you're confident in using certain fighting styles. You can also use a similar build on your Mercenary Servants (Weapons Under Level 90) to help ensure they carry out their mission of protecting you and getting rare weapon drops!
It's also recommended that you put the Vampire Opals on weapons with the Highest Critical Hit rating (max is 50% depending on your Light/Dark Affinity), more crit hits means more health recovery!
Use either of these builds to ensure victory against the Level 90+ Legendary enemies you come across in Libra of Souls... you'll be glad you did!
