Was the Gcat more of a guardian to Jake in the au, or just a menace? Did Jane have an encounter with it before or was Jake the only one who got to interact with it?

What aboit Bec? Was he Johns pet in the aulpha session?

ah gcat is jakes best friend! good kitty! i imagine when jake came on the meteor, this weird glowing white stray cat popped up on the island and glued himself to jake ever since and jade was like "man i wish you were a dog but you can stay i guess". very protective of his kid, even more so since grandma jade passed away, he makes sure jake stays outta trouble and doesn't wander off into dangerous places on the island. he doesn't really share jakes love for the exploration, he'd much rather stay and catch his z's lmfao

as for other kids, he doesn't show up to them but probably keeps an eye on them as a first guardian as well!

when it comes to bec, i think he'd be more like the gcat in the canon, maybe not such a troublemaker but loyal to... other forces than the kids ehehehe
