Madness Combat Wings of Fire AU

This is just saying what tribes I’d think they’d be- nothing too complex yet.

Hank- (Unknown) Nobody really knows what they are anymore, being covered in bandages and scars and black cloth. Pretty big, probably due to their age. Whatever they are, they’re still the deadliest dragon in Nevada.

Sanford- (Mudwing) A very large dark brown Mudwing hatched from a blood-red egg. His specialty is still explosives (Dragonflame cactus) and melee combat, with a little bit of knowledge on healing. He used to be the bigwings of his group, but due to unfortunate events, he’s no longer with them. However, some of his bigwing instincts can be seen when he’s with his teammates.

Deimos- (Skywing) A smallish rusty orange colored skywing. Slender but still muscular. Prefers to blast enemies with fire from a distance. He always looks a little dirty, but that’s just his scale color. Mostly.

Doc- (Icewing) A grey icewing that used to be a member of the AAHW. The scars on his cheeks are a constant reminder of his Dissension. Absolutely not a doctor, but still acts like the medic of the group. Wears a large jacket to keep his cold inside.

Jeb- (Nightwing) A purplish-black nightwing with a sleek body, formerly a head scientist for project nexus, now the self-proclaimed savior of Nevada. He’s got seer powers, though not too strong. Thanks to the animus-touched keystone fragment, he’s got all the powers of his regular grunt self.

Tricky/Hofnarr- (Seawing) The short, dark green, timid eccentric genius animus dragon who is a head scientist of project nexus- or at least, what’s left of him. Not only has he been zombified, but he’s (seemingly) been driven mad by his own powers. He roams around Nevada, without a care in the world, doing whatever he wants, with nobody to stop him.

Sheriff- (Sandwing) A cowardly pale sandwing with a black diamond pattern going down his scales. Despite his cowardly nature, he does a good job being the leader of MERC and all the dragons in it. He’s not afraid to nick you with his stinger, though.

Crackpot- (Rainwing) Although constantly shifting colors, his default colors are usually green and dark yellow/orange. He tends to have a lot of emotions at the same time very quickly, leading to some… unusual and slightly unpleasant colors to look at. He’s tall but scrawny and slightly unkempt looking. Of course, being one of the head scientists for project nexus doesn’t leave much time for sun time. Maybe that’s why he’s so unbearable all the time.

Phobos- (Nightwing) A very big and powerful jet-black nightwing, hatched beneath a blood moon. He’s adorned with jewelry and a flowing majestic cape, and is missing an eye. Cunning, charismatic and cruel, he rules over the city with an iron fist (or rather, talon). Definitely has the ego of a nightwing.

Church- (Seawing) A very big muscular dark blue Seawing, with large spines. Based off an electric eel. They still have the stitches and scars of a G0L3M, as well as having all the electrical weapons as their grunt counterpart.

Jorge- (Mudwing) A greenish-brown Mudwing that’s a little smaller than Church. He’s an unsib but seems to treat Church like a Mudwing would their sibs after getting paired up. Despite not being a bigwings, he’s still massive due to being a G0L3M.

Victor- (Skywing) A slender red Skywing with a short snout. A former chef turned mercenary living in the Nevada desert. He’s a little skittish but is a reliable fighter in claw-to-claw combat, especially aerial combat.

Chopper Dave- (Sky/Nightwing) A slightly short and chubby Skywing-Nightwing hybrid, with the big wings of a Skywing but snout of a Nightwing with reddish-brown scales with black splotches scattered across his body as well as some scars from previous accidents. Carries a lot of Nightwing mannerisms (besides the ego) but isn’t very adept at combat, but is an excellent flier. Totally won’t crash into anything.

Q-Bert- (Sandwing) A big pale gold Sandwing with dark specks covering his scales. He’s a merchant who settled into SQ for the money. He’s fairly bulky and scarred, but they’re old scars.

Skinner- (Rainwing) A large pale Rainwing G0L3M that works as a doctor for SQ. Everybody loves him.

Hmm 🤔 I would imagine they are since MAGs are essentially just really big grunts while G03LMs are like the Madness equivalent of Frankenstein's monster. Getting the positioning of the stitches correct, in addition to the other details, is definitely hard work. I have confidence in you though; if anyone can get true renditions of G03LM's correct, it's you (especially with the attention to detail you have haha). <3

He's doing fine, last I checked. Keeping busy. The annex building has taken on many new members, which means many new injuries to patch up.

-Hoffnar was a chubby dude. Like the kind of dude you just know gives good hugs.

-Mans liked to snack what can we say.

-Tricky maintained a good chunk of this weight. Is some of it corpse rot? Yeah. Bet your ass. But most of it tends to be fat because due to the massive amount of bullet holes that allow gas to escape Tricky’s body.

-Tricky doesn’t know it. But if he would chill out and eat other food he’s still got Hoffnar’s sweet tooth. Cake n stuff were Hoffnar’s thing.

-If you ever find this out and tricky is on your ass? Best bet is to make a cake and hide. He’ll be too busy with the snack to focus on whoever he was chasing.

-In a situation where you are regularly involved with Tricky do this anyways. Make cake and chill with Clown.

-If you forget you get a cake mix box thrown in your general direction. “CAKE. FOR CLOWN.”

-If you can make him one he’ll enjoy he’ll asleep with you near him for a bit. If you don’t die from the rotting corpse smell he’s very warm. Like. You could mistake him for a living person warm.

-Very comfortable all things considered.

Pairing: Romantic/Platonic

Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Stalking, Kidnapping, Manipulation, Forced relationship.

- Being a G03LM unit, you are large, armored, and strong.

- Nothing Hank can't deal with.

- He'd probably be obsessed with you in the same way he would with any other Darling.

- You just happen to be a lot bigger.

- For this concept I'll say you're a G03LM just living life in Nevada, similar to Gil, Goyle, Skinner, etc.

- That way when you two meet it's not in a violent way like if you worked under Phobos or something.

- It gives him time to grow obsessed with you.

- In fact, he may think that extra strength of yours is useful.

- I won't go too much into how you two meet as that can be up to you :)

- Hank would have a harder time manipulating you with force, but overall he's usually the same as in the regular Yandere concept.

- He probably secretly likes your size.

- May not express it verbally but he loves it when you pick him up.

- You may be strong but he's still protective over you.

- Even more so if you're one of the more docile G03LMs.

- You're just a gentle giant being followed around by a vicious assassin.

- One that would rather see the world burn than harm you.

- Hank may not be the domestic type himself, but he'd love a G03LM that's just affectionate and nice.

- You're so big... yet so soft.

- Expect Hank to cling to you when he isn't committing violence.

- He just loves to wrap his arms around your larger body, placing mock kisses to your face just to see you smile.

- He would rather keep you away from Deimos and Sanford in case they try to harm you.

- Hank will remain rather calm if you're nice and reciprocate his affection.

- You just need to hold him close like you adore him....

It'd start when he first takes you probably, Similar to what I wrote about in the drabble: You try to get up but he just sits you back down. But instead, You're hugging into him and he feels like he's about to combust

Drops the plate of food he's trying to give you and just stares in both disbelief and absolute devotion. He can't BELEIVE this is happening. To him of all people! I mean he IS quite the celebrity but … he's just Burger Gil and your YOU, wonderful, awe-inspiring you!

Congrats on being allowed to move around the kitchen, as long as you don't try going upstairs... But why would you when you can be so affectionate with him here.

He's love language in more gift giving and words of praise however he adores physical affection. Considerably shy when it comes to PDA so when you come along and start giving him physical affection. He can hardly control himself.

If it's in a more private setting, He's scooping you right up and peppering your face with kisses. He'll do whatever he can to return his physical affection because he loves you!!! he wants to prove he does and with every good feeling you give him, He wants to return to you!

If it's more public, I.E. in the actual store/upper floor. He'll be very flustered. He's bright red with blush. If Zed's can blush, Not 100% sure if that's possible but he's a blubbering mess who doesn't know how to react since he needs to be professional at his job!!!!!

Either way, It kinda makes his feelings towards you worse. It's like your feeding his obsessive tendencies like he does his " customers ". It's similar to rewarding your pet for bad behaviour, Not good for the long run.

You could manipulate this though if you were smart enough. You could make like it into a reward system of sorts if you wanted to him to be more manageable as a yandere. That's because he puts all his trust into you and knows you'll stay put! But if this were to be broken, no. You won't be allowed out the kitchen every again

Although escaping him in general would be hard with his speed. One of the fastest G0L3Ms there is so unless you do have a different mode of transportation that isn't on foot away from Famous Gil’s City style food & other fine consumables. You are probably gonna be dragged back kicking and screaming

With time he will start to come out of his shell and become more physically affectionate with you more in public.

If you play your cards right and are truly happy with him, Maybe it'll just end with him being possessive and wanting your opinion on everything.

But genuinely please give him love and adoration he oh so deserves. That's all he wants. You, him and making burgers with lots and lots of love, hugs and kisses in-between.

Starting with MadCom:

2BDamned/Doc !!

I feel like his favorite movie would be something like Frankenweenie or TNBC, his favorite characters being Victor and Finklestein of course. Silly Frankenstein makers y'know.

Hank J. Wimbleton !!

Probably a slasher film like Friday the 13th, he'd root for the villains though, obviously. They wouldn't even flinch at any of the jump scares, it'd just be a happy lil' film for them. But don't let that fool you, he would definitely snuggle up close to Doc on the couch with a nice blanket n' get comfy.

Deimos !! + Tricky (?)

I'm going to be blunt here. The SpongeBob SquarePants Halloween specials. They would fucking love those. I'd like to think it's one of the one things they'd get along with. They'd sit down on Doc's carpet shoveling candy in their mouths with Sanford, watching the screen quite intently. Tricky would probably lay on its stomach on the carpet and kick his feet like a child, but everyone would be happy watching that silly little cartoon together. Even if it was a bit boring for everyone but Dei n' Trickster.

Sanford (mentioning Deimos again for this one)

I think Sanford would enjoy subtle horror much more. So, he and Deimos would stay up after everyone goes to sleep, quietly looking through obscure horror videos on YouTube on the couch with a bowl of popcorn and a few sodas, mostly Dr. Peppers and cherry colas. Just enjoying their quiet time together, cuddling in the dim living room, (a probably stolen) dimmed tablet being some of the only light keeping them awake. I don't think Dei would handle jump scares very well, so he'd end up snuggling up close to Sanford and falling asleep not too much later.

Sheriff

No. Horror is a big, fat "No" from him.

Stygian, Conductor, Deliberator, and the Auditor.

They all love watching low budget horror films and laughing at the cheap scares the creators tried to pull. All in all, there's not much that'll scare them in those, but they still have fun watching them anyways, especially since it serves as a nice break for all of them.

Church + Jorge

They don't quite *understand* horror media. In fact, it's like showing The Conjuring to a toddler. They'd be paranoid for a while, which is quite hilarious for G0L3Ms like them.

Burger Gil + Dr. Skinner

They watched Night of the Living Dead on a small projector in the break room on Gil's break probably, so now it's a comfort movie for both of them, now that Nevada is practically its own form of hell. They probably crack jokes at the fact that they're both "the living dead" in their own right, along with most of Nevada's population.

Phobos + Dr. C. (for reference, his name is Corvis in my AU !! c: )

Phobos was never quite a fan of horror, actually he found it boring and cheesy. But the director never really was a fan of much o' anything in reality, he was too interested in achieving his godhood or whatever his twisted mind was set on with Project Nexus at his disposal. But when Corvis showed him some of chirp's favorite movies, he couldn't help but adore them. The simplicity that seemed to make his little love bird so happy. Something that ViVi was so infatuated with that it was almost as high on feather's list of things he held dear as the director himself was, that his room was full of movie posters and memorabilia. It was such an insignificant thing in Nevada's vast ruins and dusty plains, but it made Cor' happy. So, it made that demented man just a bit happier himself.

Jebus/Jebediah

He loves all of the classics, honestly. (Because he's old.) They make him feel more comforted and nostalgic, which puts him in a nicer mood when he needs a pick-me-up.

They fucking love Halloween specials and horror of any kind. They probably watched a lot of low budget movies with the Auditor, trying to stay on his good side after many misdemeanors against its agency. But they definitely have more fond memories of watching movies with their work partner.

They barely remember their real name. However, they have faint memories of Dr. Skinner and their main caretaker at the asylum showing them different movies. Of course, they barely registered those, so it'd be a lost cause for them to try and pick a favorite unfortunately.

Alternate Cesar however, Honestly, I doubt it has many opinions on horror movies. They just think it's pathetic that humans are scared by those things and their cheap scare tactics.

Horror movies...yeesh...he doesn't handle those well. Even if they aren't made that well, they tend to make his paranoia run wild so he'd rather avoid them. Cesar definitely tried to stay up to watch horror movies with him at a sleepover when they were kids, only for him to hide under his blankets and, honestly - probably cry about it. He is, in fact, not a horror fan.

i recently finished the main story of MPN, so moved onto the arena mode and was reminded of this WONDERFUL PERFECT GUY… And since both Stuffings and Skinner G0L3M’s turned medics, I think they’d get along swell!

Ik krinkels said he didn't really care bout canon but the timeline for the project nexus games is really confusing but this is my guess:

Episode 1.5 of project nexus classic/the new PN characters are canon is 100% canon

Episode 1 of project nexus classic is weird, like the events themselves are (Hank saving Sanford and Deimos from that jail place, the duo shooting up a bunch of bases and fighting a few Mags/G0L3Ms, etc.) but the character designs aren't, as it most likely takes place after 4/before 5 (even possibly being how Hank met Sanford and Deimos)

For the character design thing, the trio looks like their more recognizable designs for meta reasons so the players know who is who even though they most likely looked like their MC5 designs going by the timeline.

And since Sanford and Deimos were literally just Grunts with nothing special about them and Hank was more recognizable with his MC7 look they just gave them their more current designs.

Though Project Nexus the new one is most likely just not canon to the main timeline, dunno how to fit it in.
