On Calls For Pres. Biden To Step Aside: Know The Players And Motives Tossing aside one of the most progressive presidents in fifty years because you are afraid they might not win an election is just plain stupid without a really, really, really solid backup plan. It is even stupider if you look at who is pushing for him to step aside and their motives. Here are the main groups calling for Pres. Biden to step away from running against Trump in November and why:
1-Republicans. Republicans know Biden is the biggest threat to them getting back the White House and enacting their batshit crazy policy agenda. They want nothing more than to not run against Pres. Biden because not only does he have the track record of beating Trump before but has an amazing economic record to run on. If you ever want to understand who Republicans view as their political threat, all you have to do is look at who they are attacking. They were going after Hillary for three years prior to 2016. The entire Benghazi witch hunt had no other purpose than to damage her electorally. Every single hearing about Hunter Biden, the border, the Biden Crime Family,… is nothing more than dog and pony hearings to dampen Democratic and Independent voter enthusiasm.
2-The Media. Trump’s non-stop crazy train administration was a goldmine for media outlets. Every day there was a new outrage, wild-ass rant, something that brought eyes to screens which translates to selling ad time/space. The Biden administration is efficient and boring. No scandals, except the ones Republicans gin up that turn up nothing. No rants. No chaos. No real controversy. Just plain old boring governance which is great for the country but bad for a business model that relies on shock, drama, and negativity. “Dems in disarray,” has been a media cottage industry since Bill Clinton was in office. If you don’t understand the financial motivation for why the media constantly derides Democrats for the slightest misstep while ignoring Republican malfeasance, you are probably likely to fall for their own brand of political propaganda.
It should tell you something that major news outlets have come out demanding Pres. Biden step aside for not looking good on camera during one ninety-minute debate but not a single one has asked the same of the candidate who was found guilty of sexual assault, found guilty of thirty-four felony charges, misspeaks dozens of times at every rally, and goes off on wild, illogical, batshit crazy tangents, and is tied to child sexual abuse via Jeffery Epstein. That they are not treating Trump with the same non-stop demands to step aside as they are Pres. Biden should tell you something about their motives.
3-Bad Foreign Actors. Russia wants nothing more than for Biden to lose the election. He is their biggest threat to taking over Ukraine and pushing their influence farther into Western Europe. NATO is stronger now and has more members than at any time in its history. This is the last thing Putin wants. Russia has been actively pushing propaganda online to influence U.S. elections for some time but really have ramped it up the past few election cycles.
Russia targets Republicans by fueling rage over culture war topics like abortion, immigration, racial violence, and the decline of Western, Christian norms. They also target liberals by trying to divide them over issues they care about Israel/Palestine, LGBTQI rights, Bernie vs Clinton, Bernie v Biden, DNC v “real progressives,”… They want liberals at each other’s throats because, if unified, the left is the largest voting bloc in America. Conservatives are electoral dinosaurs but they maintain power through gerrymandering, voter suppression, and liberals being more invested in their petty arguments than voting Republicans out of office.
4-Sandernistas. There is still a good-sized faction of people on the left who are still upset about Bernie Sanders not being the nominee in 2016 or in 2020. They are especially mad at what they deem as “establishment Dems,” screwing over Sanders in 2020 starting with the South Carolina primary. What they really are upset about is black voters, predominately female black voters, denying their White Progressive Savior his rightful spot at the head of the ticket. Because Pres. Biden was the one who benefited from this minority voting bloc in 2020, tearing him down and taking him out is a passion project for a lot of so-called “progressives.”
These “progressives,” are under the disillusion that if the Democratic Party fails far enough, hard enough, they will be able rebuild it in their own, perfectly progressive image. They never explain how this magical transformation will happen, they just take it as a matter of faith. Of course, anyone who understands American history and basic civics knows if/when conservatives have ultimate power, they will make sure they never lose another election.
These “progressives,” are the worst kind of progressive. They are often white, middle to upper-class liberals who view politics as a game because they are usually shielded from the consequences of the electoral decisions. If you are a middle/upper-class white, male progressive, very few, if any of Trump’s actions when he was in office affected you directly. The same cannot be said about the progressive voters who overwhelmingly supported Hillary in 2016 and Joe in 2020. They have the most skin in the game, have the most to lose and they vote accordingly. For white dudebros to step in and demand Pres. Biden step aside is a direct “fuck you” to the most loyal part of the base which has the most to lose if Trump is reelected.
Never mind this group has NEVER accomplished a damn thing politically other than cost many good Democrats to lose and decades and decades of progressive policy and law wiped out. They are as adamant about their political skills as they are it is always someone else’s fault when the find-out portion of their fuck around actions comes to fruition.
5-Progressives suffering from 2016 PTSD. This is the one group I can actually relate to and sympathize with. Hillary's loss in 2016 was a major shock to a lot of people. This shock was compounded because not only were we denied the first female president, but we got a lying, narcissistic, misogynist man-child in her place who went about rolling back decades of hard-earned progressive policies and turning the Supreme Court into a right-wing arm of the Federalist Society.
For those of us who lived through 2016, there is no election data that will make us feel good or at ease. It also makes us hyper-vigilant about anything and everything that can be seen as a negative towards the nominee. The second anything bad happens, whether factual or not, a lot of people in this group take the flight instead of the fight option which is associated with PTSD.
Being overly anxious and hyper-vigilant are not necessarily bad unless they lead to bad decisions.
There is only one sure way to make sure Trump is not reelected. Vote for the candidate running against him. Period. Full fucking stop.
If you aren’t willing to do this, for whatever reason you tell yourself, then you will be directly responsible for the very thing you claim is a politically existential moment. Stop listening and parroting Republican talking points. Stop allowing the media to determine who you should vote for. Stop listening to butt-hurt progressives who have no record of political success about what those who do should/shouldn’t do. Stop acting like frightened little bunnies whenever someone says something negative about successful Democratic leaders. Stop automatically going into flight mode when something goes wrong or something negative is said. Fight.
If you aren’t willing to fight, and I’m not talking about inter-party fighting (that time came and went,) for women’s rights, minority rights, safe air/water/food, climate policies, democracy… then you really aren’t as progressive as you tell yourself and others. You are a big reason why we are even in this situation. Whether you like Pres. Biden or think he is too old really isn’t the pertinent issue if you really care about the things you say you do. As long as Pres. Biden is willing to fight like hell for progressive policies and prevent Republicans from turning the country into a white supremacist, misogynist, oligarchy, you should be doing the same.
I don’t know what is going to happen between now and election day. Neither does anyone else. The one thing I am 100% positive about is if Trump does win, the people on the left who have spent the majority of their time and energy railing against the Democratic Party and Pres. Biden will blame anyone and everyone other than themselves. If Pres. Biden wins reelection, these same people will claim their childish hissy fits are what led him to “change course,” enabling him to win. Their view of personal responsibility for election outcomes is some fucked up “No True Scotsman,” bullshit. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING ever counts against their political beliefs and views.
I know some people reading this will wonder why I spend so much time and energy railing against the left. The answer is really simple-I fully expect the people on the right to be bad-faith actors who are hell-bent on destroying any and all progressive policies and candidates. I don’t, and shouldn’t expect the same from people who claim to be political allies. You can't claim to be a member of Team Good™ if your behaviors and actions help Team Bad™.

uranium ammo is bad:
1 U238 -> 250 damage
3 U238 -> 1 U235 (kovarex)
22 U238 -> 80 GJ (240GJ in a standard 2x2 reactor but let's say 80) -> 6 U238 back
1 U238 -> 5GJ
0.8MJ -> 20 damage (laser turret)
1 U238 -> 5 GJ -> 6250 shots (125,000 damage)
then consider:
no prodmods in ammo but yes prodmods in kovarex, fuel rods, reprocessing
more uranium per damage and more iron per uranium to make ammo vs. fuel rods
laser turrets have more health, more range, easier resupply (= more densely packable) relative to gun turrets
because gun turret damage upgrades increase multiplicatively and laser damage upgrades increase linearly, and because a lot of the efficiency of laser turrets is lost by their passive power drain, there is some point in infinite research where uranium ammo becomes not mathematically garbage relative to nuclear powered laser turrets. however reaching this point requires beating the game many times over.
conclusion: disable biters at map creation

With as much as I hate new cars, that isn't to say there hasn't been advancements For example:D!!! I find it insane how far they had come with four cylinder engines. A majority of cars now have such efficient four cylinder engines, that they have just as good as a kick of 6 or 8 cylinder engines An example is my little 2005 Honda civic vs my moms big Subaru. Her car is HUGE compared to mine, and would you believe she gets better gas mileage then me? It's because four cylinder engines are most fuel efficient, and due to the power they have nowadays, it can fully handle a car that size My little car's engine could in no way reach speeds as fast as hers lol Her engine also doesn't have to rev as hard as mine. Say my car is a 4 speed, while hers is, lets say a 8 (fake number) And for reference, 4 speed mean your car has 4 gears As you go faster, your car switches gears up, allowing it to go faster. Since my car only has 4 gears, its pretty spaced out just how fast you have to be going to reach the next gear. The harder to press one your gas to go faster, the more gas it takes Since my mom has, say, 8 gears, her motor does not have to work as hard to get to speed, meaning she is using less gas. It is just a much smoother speed transtion I dunno if you've ever noticed when your in a car, and you suddenly press really hard on the gas pedal, the the car almost feels like a slows down for a second, before suddenly taking of, that has to do with the gears changing!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DONT TAKE THIS TO HEART AS I MAY NOT BE 100% CORRECT, BUT THAT IS KINDA THE GIST OF IT

Galaxy 4 The Doctor, Vicki and Steven arrive on an arid planet where they meet the beautiful Drahvins and the hideous Rills. Each has crash-landed after a confrontation in space. The Rills are friendly, compassionate explorers. The Drahvins are dull-witted, cloned soldiers, terrorised by the intelligent, warlike matriarch Maaga.
Both ships are damaged. The Drahvins' craft is irreparable, whereas the Rills' is almost ready to take off; however, the Rills have been unable to find a compatible fuel source. Although unable to breathe the oxygen atmosphere, they employ efficient robot drones, which Vicki nicknames "Chumblies". Despite numerous offers by the Rills to take Maaga and her crew to safety, she refuses their aid. When the planet is discovered to be on the point of disintegration, Maaga tries to force the time travellers to help her steal the Rills' ship and kill the Rills. Instead, the Doctor allows the Rills to draw power from the TARDIS to refuel and escape, leaving the Drahvins to their fate.
The Impossible Planet / The Satan Pit The Tenth Doctor and Rose Tyler lose the TARDIS down a deep chasm, leaving themselves stranded on a space base positioned on a planet in the orbit of a black hole. Meanwhile, an entity who identifies as Satan himself is awakening and beginning to cause chaos amongst the crew.
The Tenth Doctor faces off against an enemy that defies all his beliefs while Rose and the survivors of the Sanctuary Base 6 crew are trying to escape from the Beast's legion of possessed Ood. Can the Doctor stop an impossible enemy from escaping its prison, and save the universe?

Yes.
We set some essential groundwork in the first three chapters.
Tumblr media
Let us approach Sauron’s ultimate question and finally delve into the meat of this whole thing.
Sauron is Evil.
Galadriel: “One cannot satisfy thirst by drinking seawater.” Sauron: “Then what is it?”
Tumblr media
“Why do you keep fighting?”
He knows exactly why Galadriel keeps fighting, and wants her to stop galloping for a moment, realize what has kept her fighting for centuries, and admit the truth. He has already given her the answer to this question several times. Does she keep fighting to avenge her brother, and everyone else she has lost? No. Then, what fuels her obsession?
Recall the showrunners’ statements.
1) Sauron sees Galadriel, and “knows that what she needs more than anything else is to find the evil that has plagued her for so long, and save Middle-earth. So, he self-styles himself as the person that she will trust” (JD Payne, TROP Podcast). When does he ‘self-style’ himself as Halbrand? Before they meet on the raft. In order for it to be a possibility that he did it specifically to make Galadriel trust him, he would have to be aware of her existence before the raft.
2) “Did she jump off the boat because she sensed Halbrand nearby?” (JD Payne, TROP Podcast).
3) “Is her obsession (which character after character in the show tells her is not a good thing)—Is he CALLING her to him?” (Patrick McKay, TROP Podcast).
Let us set this in stone, once and for all. I am 100% certain of this:
Sauron Called Galadriel to Him
“I strove to create a unique interval between each theme’s first and second note. If each major theme had a unique first interval, listeners would be able to identify that theme in only two notes, the smallest amount of musical information possible. This would be an exercise in efficiency! The more iconic I hoped a theme would be, the rarer should be its opening interval. […]
“Each of these themes has a unique quality in sound and tone, but by beginning with a distinct first interval, they all become instantly recognizable in a matter of seconds.” Bear McCreary, Bear’s Blog
On The Boat [0:07 in the clip below], a tiny voice echoes the first two notes of Sauron’s theme (the “sinister downward third,” as Bear puts it):
Here is what that exact voice sounds like in all its glory: ["Nampat burzum-ank."] Death into darkness.
I was genuinely disturbed when I saw where it was placed in episode 1 …
The little voice is Sauron himself, calling from afar. Galadriel (in a trance) is immediately pulled back by his lure. Thondir, who sincerely cares for Galadriel’s well-being, notices that something is horribly wrong, and desperately calls BACK to her, as if to counter the pull, and snap her out of whatever trance she is in. He knows that this is not normal. Someone is ‘tapping into the powers of the Unseen World.’
In the end, the voice is no longer a distant cry, but is at full-strength. Sauron tries to twist the motives of Galadriel’s friends, in order to make her believe that everyone else would hold her back. “All others look on you with doubt.” This directly calls back to Thondir, who (as Sauron might put it) mutinied against her and tried to drag her off to Valinor. Thus, we see his cunning.
Sauron vs. Thondir (and/or the Valar)
That small voice is not the only time Sauron sings.
Tumblr media
"[…] in after years [Sauron] rose like a shadow of Morgoth and a ghost of his malice, and walked behind him on the same ruinous path down into the Void." The Silmarillion: Valaquenta
Thondir and Sauron have a contest. From the first ‘yoo-hoo’ to Galadriel, to the sudden cut-off in the music, there are many instruments and voices competing against one another. Meanwhile, Galadriel is disoriented (one indication being the morphing of Thondir’s voice, like she’s underwater).
Thondir is one who knew that Galadriel’s obsession was not a good thing. Galadriel. Give me your hand, he says anxiously. He knows that whatever is happening is so dire, that he has to guide her by the hand in order to ensure her safety.
Tumblr media
That is why he panics in the end. All others on the boat are already immersed in the light, seemingly unaware of anything else around them. In a desperate attempt to save Galadriel from peril, Thondir calls her name once more, and is the last one to look forward; but his arm is still stretched out to her.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
All the while, Sauron pulls back on Galadriel. No, come to ME! he says in earnest, somehow more alluring and inviting. He says some other things, too, but we will discuss that in a few moments.
Tumblr media
The music alone sounds like a type or version of the contest between Ilúvatar and Melkor [Morgoth], in the Ainulindalë. It is ‘A Shadow of the Past’, one might say. The entire story applies, but for now, let us focus on the end—
Ilúvatar’s music: “Deep and wide and beautiful, but slow and blended with an immeasurable sorrow, from which its beauty chiefly came.”
Melkor’s music: “Loud, and vain, and endlessly repeated; and it had little harmony, but rather a clamorous unison as of many trumpets braying upon a few notes. And it essayed to drown the other music by the violence of its voice.” [bray: to speak or laugh loudly and harshly.]
"[…] but it seemed that its most triumphant notes were taken by the other and woven into its own solemn pattern." The Silmarillion: Ainulindalë [Whether on purpose, or by accident, this is exactly what we hear in this music.]
Let us solidify the music in our minds, before watching the video. Just before the battle commences, there is a continuous, confusing stream of voices in the background, as if to clutter Galadriel’s mind, and it does not stop.
The clip below begins as the birds fly from Valinor through the clouds (which reminds me of the beginning of the Ainulindalë), and ends with Galadriel leaping from the ship.
Tumblr media
“I hear it said that when you cross over, you hear a song. One whose memory we all carry. And you are immersed in a light more intoxicating than any sensation in all of Middle-earth.” -Elrond
Lyrics from Bear's Blog: The Lord of the Rings: 101
0:00 - ["Mélamar, eldamar, kene kala lessen."] Home, Elvenhome, light us-in.
0:12 - ["Yánalva fanyamar; Yo hapan lirilve."] Our holy place, cloud home and as one we sing, as one.
0:27 - ["Lennar, tul'valme; Entula lumequentalelmo."] We will come to you; returning upon the hour.
1:04 - ["Mélamar, eldamar, kene kala … "] Home, Elvenhome, light us-in.
1:17 – [" ... lessen."] Galadriel looks back at the dagger. Sauron begins tapping into the powers of the Unseen World.
1:19 – "Do you know why a ship floats …"
Tumblr media
1:24 – ” … and a stone cannot?”
Tumblr media
1:30 – Gil-galad, Elrond, and Celebrimbor witness the Stranger soar across the sky. “Means [Sauron’s] time is near.” – Waldreg (1×04). 1:46 – Sinister downward third. 1:55 – Galadriel momentarily snaps out of her trance. 1:57 – Cluttering voices begin and worsen until the end. 2:04 – Sauron calls for Galadriel; Galadriel is immediately pulled back towards the dagger. 2:08 – The Battle begins.
2:13 – “Galadriel!”
[sinister downward third]
Tumblr media
2:30 – “Give me your hand.”
Tumblr media
2:42 – Sauron’s horns blare to drown out Thondir. Galadriel looks back at the sounds of said horns.
Tumblr media
2:45 – ” … the lights shine just as brightly reflected in the water as they do in the sky.”
Tumblr media
2:49 – Sauron’s horns fight against the strings.
2:51 – “How am I to know which lights to follow?”
Tumblr media
2:55 – ["Etsir … "] Near … “Sometimes we cannot know until we have touched the darkness.”
3:02 – [" … amna, vanyalyë."] … the rivermouth, you depart. Sauron’s ostinato accompanies Galadriel’s theme, as she decides to touch the darkness again. Sauron is now SCREAMING: “Come to me!”
Tumblr media
3:15 – ["Sirya tumne lisse- … "] Flow deep by your grace. Thondir: “GALADRIEL!”
Tumblr media
3:22 – [" … -lyanen. Namárië!] Farewell. (Go towards goodness.)
Tumblr media
3:36 –
"In the midst of this strife, whereat the halls of Ilúvatar shook and a tremor ran out into the silences yet unmoved, Ilúvatar arose a third time, and his face was terrible to behold. Then he raised up both his hands, and in one chord, deeper than the Abyss, higher than the Firmament, piercing as the light of the eye of Ilúvatar, the Music ceased.” The Silmarillion: Ainulindalë
The pull that Sauron had on Galadriel must have been incredibly powerful, in order for her to reject the light of her home, right on its doorstep.
So, here’s the clip. Notice Galadriel’s peculiar attachment to the dagger. Even Thondir knows that something is incredibly wrong with the way she cleaves to it. He is relieved when she lets go: Whew! Okay. Everything’s fine, or so he thinks (his concern breaks my heart).
What did Sauron say to her?
Galadriel is not bound by an oath, as she believes (see Chapters 2 and 3). When Sauron infiltrates her mind in episode 8, he tells her (in a horrifically convincing manner) what she believes; but it was not the first time.
Galadriel: “No penance could ever erase the evil you have done.”
Tumblr media
Sauron: “That is not what you believe.” Galadriel: “Do not tell me what I believe!” Sauron: “No.”
Sauron was the reason Galadriel leapt from the ship, but she is not lying when she tells Elrond this:
“I leapt from that ship because I believed in my heart I was not yet worthy of it. I knew that somehow, my task here was not yet complete.”
Tumblr media
This is what Sauron wanted her to believe, so he planted it to push her closer to what will get him what he wants. One might say that Sauron thinks that what Galadriel needs more than anything is to find him and save Middle-earth. However, he does not care about anyone but himself; it is for his own gain.
“[…] W.H. Auden wrote an essay on Tolkien, and he said something along the lines of, “Evil loves only itself.” [“Evil, defiantly chosen, can no longer imagine anything but itself.”] So I think in his pitch to Galadriel, it cannot mean that he loves her or that there’s any kind of romantic relationship. There should be no ambiguity around the fact that Sauron is evil—he’s terrible, and he’s using Galadriel to enhance his power.” Charlie Vickers, The New York Times
Utilizing songs of power (with which he defeated her brother in a contest), the Master of Deceit calls to her, in order to convince her to leap from the ship, saying: You will not be worthy of a glorious rest until you fulfill the task to which you are bound. Find me, so that together, we can save this Middle-earth.
Here is the silver lining:
Tumblr media
'[…] And thou, Melkor, shalt see that no theme may be played that hath not its uttermost source in me, nor can any alter the music in my despite. For he that attempteth this shall prove but mine instrument in the devising of things more wonderful, which he himself hath not imagined.' The Silmarillion: Ainulindalë
The Epic Cue
Here is my personal opinion: I have come to the tentative conclusion that The Epic Cue has something to do with victoriously tapping into the powers of the Unseen World, at a perilous cost.
Instead of the [G#, A], I am specifically talking about the [D, C#, A], indicated by the timestamps before each clip below. The perilous results of tapping into said powers, in each instance, are shown in the pictures associated.
In the case of The Boat, it was not Galadriel tapping into the powers of the Unseen World, but rather Sauron himself, as established above. He coaxed Galadriel to leap from the ship, in order to pursue a perilous path. He wins. “Sometimes the perilous path is the only path” (Galadriel 1×08).
0:06
Tumblr media
There is something to be said about Sauron ‘having the mastery,’ as it says in The Silmarillion.
"[…] Felagund strove with Sauron in songs of power, and the power of the King was very great; but Sauron had the mastery […]" The Silmarillion: Of Beren and Lúthien
In the beginning of the season, he is rebuilding his power, but knows much more about these things than the Stranger does at this point (who uses them instinctively). So, the Stranger’s cue is short-lived (playing over seemingly smaller stakes), while Sauron’s is mightier (involving higher stakes).
The Stranger taps into these powers at a cost, when he saves Nori, Poppy, and Malva from the three wolves.
Might I add that in both of these instances (the boat and the wolves) the ones using these powers are the only two known Maiar in the world.
Again, I am focusing on the [D, C#, A].
0:04
Tumblr media
The next instance is a bit scary. Oh, sure, it is victorious, but not for anyone except Sauron. Depending on your loyalties, it could qualify as a perilous result.
If you are wondering what Sauron did this time, tapping into those powers, look no further than the title of the track in which this cue is found (taken from Episode 6): Transformed by Darkness. The track begins with the scene in the barn (which can fill up an entire chapter by itself, but we shan’t get distracted yet), where Adar says, “It would seem I’m not the only Elf alive who’s been transformed by darkness,” and ends with Theo’s dilemma (not an accident).
"When he saw that many [of the Noldor] leaned towards him, Melkor would often walk among them, and amid his fair words others were woven, so subtly that many who heard them believed in recollection that they arose from their own thought." The Silmarillion: Of the Silmarils and the Unrest of the Noldor
The track includes the log conversation, where Galadriel tells Sauron to be free of whatever he’d done before, and that she felt the same thing he felt (after the ‘bind it to my very being’ stunt).
"[…] But there’s also a good case to be made that every step of the way, he sees her as his ticket back to power, and he’s playing hard-to-get to get her to dig in; to get her to do what he needs her to do.” Patrick McKay, TROP Podcast
He carefully crafted the words and ‘songs’ that he used, so Galadriel would trust him. This led her to say exactly what he wanted her to say: “I felt it, too.” All of this he could use as leverage in the end.
It is the same Epic Cue, as featured above, just shifted up a half-step, from [D, C#, A] to [E♭, D, B♭].
Behold his costly victory:

Pokemon Horizons Episode 33 Review - Amethio VS Rayquaza
Silly Amethio, do you really think you have the power to defeat a legendary? He got WIPED by Rayquaza and it was a bit humiliating. Though, I do wonder why Rayquaza showed up. It seemed like he wasn’t as chummy towards Terapagos as the other Heroes were. Does it not like Terapagos?
Tumblr media
I feel bad for Amethio. He keeps losing. From losing to Friede and now to Rayquaza. I do wonder what it is he’ll do to get stronger. I do commend him for using both his Ceruledge and Corviknight in battle. At least, he knows he has two Pokemon and can use them efficiently unlike Liko and Roy who insist on training only one of their Pokemon and not both. When was the last time we saw Wattrel and Hatenna do something?
Why is Roy being so reckless again? I’d assume he had learned his lesson back in Episode 22 where he and Liko wandered into the deeper parts of the mines and almost got themselves in danger. He was being stupid yet again with the way he was yelling at Rayquaza to challenge him. Roy, it’s dangerous out there and what makes you think you are at the level to challenge Rayquaza when it beat the snot out of Amethio? At least Amethio had two fully evolved Pokemon, but you have two basic level Pokemon! What makes you think a mere Fuecoco and Wattrel is gonna make you earn Rayquaza’s respect? I just hope that this will be the deciding factor for him to get some development once and for all. I think the bad aspect of this reckless side is that he never gets reprimanded by the adults for his thoughtlessness. He almost got Liko and Friede in danger but not once did they scold him.
Terapagos’s Terastalized form is shown for the first time, but briefly. I do wonder what sort of relationship Terapagos and Rayquaza have because the former doesn’t seem too fond of the latter. Will there be a fight between in the future? I’d like to see that. I did like how the transformation was caused by it seeing Liko and Roy almost getting hurt and it didn’t want that to happen.
Diana is leaving the ship but only Friede knows so far. It’s interesting that Diana is leaving to investigate more on the pendant, Terapagos and the Explorers and she wants the Rising Volt Tacklers to keep searching for the Heroes. I do think she’ll return someday. It’s also interesting to learn that Hamber and Diana were once friends before learning he was a part of the Explorers. It just fuels more into the mysteries of who they are. I did like that Diana decides to train Liko and Roy with her Arcanine just so they can help them improve their battling. Good thing it was a practice match, which gave the two a victory. Had Diana been serious, she would’ve knocked them both out. However, the Diana segment does give me uneasiness. What if Diana gets hurt or gets captured by the Explorers later on?
The final episode of the mini Terapagos segment is out. I did get it right with how it was about the Paldean Starters. The finale is Terapagos going to the kitchen because it was hungry and then encounters Rockruff and Alcremie. Alcremie gives them her cream and Shuckle gives them its juice. Quaxly freaks out over the mess. It was super cute over all!
Now that everything has become peaceful once again, where will they go to find the other heroes? How will they encounter Kleavor and Entei? Will Amethio return stronger? Will Roy get that character development he needs? What do you think about this episode?

Solar Water Heaters vs. Electric Water Heaters: A Comprehensive Cost Savings Analysis
When considering options for heating water in your home, solar water heaters and traditional electric water heaters present distinct advantages and disadvantages, particularly in terms of cost savings. This detailed comparison will explore various aspects of both systems, helping you make an informed decision.
Initial Investment
The initial investment for a solar water heater is generally higher than that of an electric water heater. Solar systems typically range from ₹18,000 to ₹60,000 or more, depending on factors such as capacity, type, and additional features. While this upfront cost may seem daunting, it’s essential to consider the long-term benefits and savings.
In contrast, electric water heaters usually have a lower initial price point, with basic models starting around ₹6,000. This affordability makes them an attractive option for many homeowners looking for immediate solutions without a significant financial commitment.
Overview of Jupiter Solar Water Heaters
Jupiter Solar is a prominent brand in the solar water heater market, particularly known for its efficient and sustainable solutions. Their products harness solar energy to provide hot water, making them an environmentally friendly alternative to traditional electric water heaters. Energy Expenses
One of the most significant advantages of solar water heaters is their reliance on renewable solar energy. This means that once installed, the cost of heating water can be drastically reduced, as sunlight is free and abundant. Homeowners can expect to save anywhere from 50% to 80% on their monthly water heating bills. This substantial reduction in energy costs can lead to significant savings over time.
On the other hand, electric water heaters depend on grid electricity, which can fluctuate in price due to various factors, including demand and fuel costs. As electricity prices rise, the operating expenses associated with electric water heaters can become a considerable burden on household budgets.
Return on Investment
The payback period for solar water heaters is often favorable, typically ranging from three to five years. After this period, homeowners can enjoy nearly free hot water for the lifespan of the system, which can last for 15 years or more with proper maintenance. This long-term financial benefit makes solar water heaters an appealing investment for those looking to reduce their overall energy costs.
In contrast, electric water heaters do not provide the same level of long-term savings. While they may be cheaper to install initially, the ongoing energy costs can accumulate quickly, leading to higher overall expenses over time.
Environmental Considerations
Solar water heaters are an environmentally friendly choice, harnessing the power of the sun to heat water without emitting greenhouse gases. This renewable energy source contributes to a reduction in your carbon footprint, making it an excellent option for eco-conscious consumers.
Electric water heaters, however, often rely on electricity generated from fossil fuels, which can contribute to pollution and climate change. By choosing a solar water heater, homeowners can play a part in promoting sustainability and reducing reliance on non-renewable energy sources.
Maintenance Requirements
In terms of maintenance, solar water heaters generally have lower upkeep costs. With fewer moving parts and a simple design, these systems require minimal maintenance to operate efficiently. Regular checks and occasional cleaning of the solar panels are typically sufficient to ensure optimal performance.
Electric water heaters, however, may require more frequent maintenance and repairs, particularly as they age. This can lead to additional costs that can diminish the overall savings associated with using electric systems.
Conclusion
In summary, while solar water heaters necessitate a higher initial investment, they offer substantial long-term cost savings, environmental benefits, and lower maintenance requirements compared to traditional electric water heaters. The decision between these two options ultimately depends on your financial situation, energy needs, and commitment to sustainability. By carefully weighing these factors, you can select the water heating solution that best aligns with your values and goals.

Point vs Counterpoint! - Stop Signs
Tumblr media
Point: Stop signs are a social construct. Why are we still treating them like a moral fact in 2024? If each American driver rolls through one stop sign a day, the increase in fuel efficiency will eliminate 12000 tons of CO2 emission annually. Police are more likely to write a ticket for a rolling stop when the driver belongs to a marginalized group. It's time to repeal these chauvinist laws!
Counterpoint: Stop signs are government tyranny. If the elites can make you come to a full and complete stop, they can make you do anything. Why do you think they want that much surveillance power? To make a database of patriots! Freedom of movement is what separates us from the communists. If the Lord God has ordained for you to die in an automobile accident today, no amount of "safe driving" is going to make that any less likely.
Thanks for reading Point vs Counterpoint! where you get both sides on real issues that affect real Americans.

Revolutionising Construction: The Power of Hemp as a Sustainable Building Material
Tumblr media
Introduction: A Return to Hemp
The need for sustainable building materials has never been more pressing, and the answer may lie in an ancient plant: hemp. This versatile crop, cultivated for over 10,000 years, is making a comeback in modern construction due to its exceptional properties and environmental benefits.
The Environmental and Economic Advantages of Hemp
Hemp offers a promising alternative to traditional timber-based materials. According to research conducted by Dewey & Merrill (Bulletin #404, United States Dept. of Agriculture, 1916), one acre of hemp produces as much cellulose fibre pulp as 4.1 acres of trees. This makes hemp a highly efficient source of material for pressed boards and particle boards, as well as concrete construction moulds. Moreover, hemp cultivation requires less water and fewer pesticides than traditional crops, adding to its environmental appeal.
Superior Strength and Flexibility: Hemp vs. Wood
In addition to its environmental advantages, hemp also outperforms wood in terms of strength and flexibility. Between 1991-1993, William B. Conde of Conde's Redwood Lumber, Inc., in collaboration with Washington State University, demonstrated that hemp composite building materials surpass wood fibre in these key areas, even when used in load-bearing applications like beams. The economic implications of this are significant, offering the potential for cheaper, more resilient buildings.
Isochanvre: The Mineralising Power of Hemp
Tumblr media
One particularly intriguing application of hemp in construction is the creation of isochanvre, a material made from hemp hurds mixed with lime. This unique substance petrifies over time, turning into a mineral state that can last for centuries. A testament to its longevity, archaeologists have discovered a bridge in southern France, built during the Merovingian period (500-751 A.D.), using this process.
Hemp in Carpeting: A Strong, Healthier Choice
Hemp also has a long history in carpet manufacturing, where its strong, rot-resistant fibres provide an ideal backing material. Today, hemp carpeting offers a compelling alternative to synthetic materials, which release toxic fumes when burned and can trigger allergic reactions.
Plumbing with Hemp: A Renewable Solution
Even in areas as unexpected as plumbing, hemp presents a viable alternative. Plastic plumbing pipes, traditionally made from non-renewable coal or petroleum-based feedstocks, can be manufactured using renewable hemp cellulose. This not only reduces our dependence on fossil fuels but also contributes to a circular economy.
Envisioning a Future Built on Hemp
As we face the urgent challenges of climate change and resource scarcity, the potential of hemp as a sustainable building material is more relevant than ever. From the walls and beams of our homes to the carpets underfoot and the pipes beneath our streets, hemp offers a way to build, plumb, paint, and furnish our world sustainably. It's time to reimagine our future, built not on dwindling resources, but on the world's number-one renewable resource - hemp.

How would a free market or socialist economy work? They sound nice but we don't have either in my country, the USA.
The government's fate is tied to the health of the economy, regardless of what kind of ism you prefer.
Liberalism, capitalism, socialism, communism, whatever, it needs an efficient clean energy economy or it will explode and collapse, sooner or later.
Wouldn't we need to have a system of charging biobatteries with clean energy instead of using petrofascist infrastructure to truly call ourselves free market or socialist?
Has liberalism itself failed in the struggle against electricity monopolies and petrofascism?
Yes and, to speak to the original comment, I'm agreed that criminal justice should be rehabilitative not punative, yet that is already the doctrine in the USA, but not the practice de facto. We need a more nuanced convo about police accountability and a reminder that the US penal system is vastly corrupt if those questions are getting asked...here's a question, aren't we going to need fossil fuel to make the casings for our organic batteries? Nope, because:
Fun fact, plastic can be made from hemp instead of fossil fuels!
Tumblr media
All our economies will flourish with abundant solar and wind charging organic, compostable batteries. We would leave the petrofascists to apply for unemployment insurance benefits. Fine by me, I'm glad that safety net is there for them, remember that when those petrofascists will complain we are killing them and their industry, yet that's what they did to our industry 1900-1920, killing electric rail and monopolizing energy storage.
Consider that our energy is literally monopolized, and how absurd that is, and how profound that is.
Our local electric monopoly bill is due soon, better pay their demands and not ask questions, god forbid we would have a choice for our electricity.
Free markets? What are those? Sounds nice.
The struggle for socialism vs liberalism is a philosophical discussion while we have neither, and our energy is literally being monopolized by fascists.
Lemme jostle some matrix plugs in some brains out there, the electric company monopolizes our energy.
This is a profound insult worthy of revolt, and that revolt would receive landslide public approval yet it would be met with gunpoint by the vastly outnumbered petrofascist skeletor seal-team-6.
Welcome to the borderlands, where sugar biobatteries are 10x as efficient as lithium ion, and we can charge those batteries with abundant wind and solar distrubuted out in key urban and suburban places with existing foundations, but we're stuck buying monopolized electricity, reading blogs by Warren Buffet and Bill Gates thinking they're the "good" billionaires, we're stuck buying monopolized gas, and EVs made with batteries of lithium ion which is inferior for not only being 10x weaker physically than sugar batteries, but also much more harmful to the environment.
Here lies the extent of the waters of western liberalism, that the United States of America was founded on, this is the far-frontier beach of the edge of that unfinished American Revolution, this is where the boats floated to, on this beach we stand on a continent of western authoritarianism and petro-fascism, time to fill that gas tank at one of 4 suppliers or you can't go to work, and then pay the electric monopoly bill without receiving equity or voting power because de facto it's illegal to build clean infrastructure on this continent, this is the center of the front line of our battle, this is how the economy can work and you can call that gov't whatever children's philosophy vocab -ism you like it lives or dies with the health of its energy economy, both in the revolutionary struggle as their tanks run out of gas on the battle field and ours escape with clean energy before the mega artillery rains down like a monsoon; and this is how we thrive in the peacetime economy after; this is how to actually win the struggle against petrofascism by charging hard here and never stopping...
I know the names of my ancestors who fought in the American revolution but it's still not finished
Hey bro/ster I'm super sorry to have to be the one to break this to you, but uh sometimes being a socialist means, you know, putting your dreams of terrorism down for a minute and talking about public policy and how your proposed form of government would like, uhhhhh................ work.
