Back in 2021, Jada Toys released Count Chocula and Franken Berry action figures. Boo Berry is finally joining his fellow General Mills monster cereal mascots, and Entertainment Earth has an exclusive glow-in-the-dark version.

The 6” scale toy comes with a cereal box accessory. It's packaged in window box with opening flap (pictured below) modeled after a cereal box. Shipping this month, it's available to pre-order for $19.99.

Also, General Mills, I’d like to know something: Why did you put X’s on the eyes of the characters on the 2022 boxes? Are they cartoon-dead now or something? [edit: The promotion this last year with some valuable prizes available was art by Kaws, who puts X’s on eyes. There’s nothing on the box that gives any details about Kaws so I guess “when you know, you know”.]

THE BOO BERRY MOUTH HORROR DOESN'T END JUST BECAUSE I'M NOT DOING GORETOBER THIS YEAR!!! (PLUS STORY)

“Hello?”

The mummy whipped around at the voice. A breeze whipped around him despite no windows being open, tousling his bandages into a mess. He was alone in this tower, it was almost impossible to see, but he could hear a small voice. He couldn’t pin an area where the voice sounded louder or quieter. It seemed to come from all corners of the room at once. ‘It’s probably just a ghost,’ he thought to himself, ‘They did say their neighbor was extremely annoying.’

“Who are you?” he asked, firmly.

“I don’t know.” it mumbled, after a notable pause. “My memory isn’t what it used to be. Who are you?”

“Just call me Prince.”

A pit of terror had begun pooling in his chest, admittedly. He was damn certain he was being watched by someone. It was obviously the ghost, he knew it was the ghost, he’d already had it confirmed that this ghost was in the same room as him, but damn it he couldn’t help but be freaked out about an invisible ghost watching him! 

A mumble of “I’m cold,” could barely be heard underneath the sound of the window crashing open, exposing the blizzard outside. Prince jumped, but headed to close it. He too hated the cold, having come from a warm area of the world before visiting here.

He’d barely blinked before coming face to upside-down face with the ghost. Their smile felt far too big for their face, with sharp, jagged teeth and large pupil-less eyes. Their skin was a transparent icy blue, but opaque purple blood dribbled down their face from their mouth. The rattling chains he heard weren’t helping

“Boo.”

Prince stumbled back, hard, ramming into a table behind him. From a safe distance, he could see the cloaked figure didn’t seem to be much bigger than a large house cat. They curled into a small ball, manically cackling at his fright. When they lifted their face again, it looked much more normal and less jacked up.

“Sorry about that, force of habit. The name’s Boo.”
