🔧 Tech ⭑ Same body; switch depends on light exposure ⭑ Metal color depends on internal temperature. Moon runs cold; Sun runs warm. ⭑ Functional jaw hinge (aka, can move & open mouth) ⭑ Needs to eat.

You know what is fun? Baby Ghost Jason. You know what could be even more fun? Ghosts are Dragons. 

Jason? Aware of none of this. 

He was on comms, y’know listening and rolling his eyes at Dickwing, who used his real name, really Dick, he mocks. It’s just a stakeout, nothing new there, honestly boring when he could be blowing something up instead. It should have just been a stakeout. 

Yet there’s something suddenly there, something behind him. Something that causes his hair to stand on end and his comms to spark into static like some sort of horror movie. Something, something with clawed hands with corpse-pale skin tipped in black, stained or dead or something else, tilting his head up and up and up as he’s frozen. 

“A child, out here? Alone?” a voice crackles, hisses, hums, and purrs, somehow all at once, unnatural in its tone. He can’t move, he needs to move, he has to move, but it’s like the space around him has gone cold and dead, like he’s stuck in the Pits once more as claws hold his head and his vision blurs. “Sleep, child. Rest- we’ll be home soon.”

i love that jackieshauna was soft confirmed by tai and van in the same exact way we've been joking for weeks. we said "shauna moans jackie's name while making out with melissa" and the writers said "shit did we leak something????"

Look I know I keep asking for Dick x Dan, and I swear I try to restrain myself, but there’s just so little out there, and every time you write them, I devour it like a starving woman at a feast.

Sooo… if you ever feel like blessing the world (and me) with more, just know I will be here, waiting, possibly vibrating with excitement and ready to eat it up the second you drop it. No pressure, of course—but also, please?

Dick smiled as he waddled inside of the Far Frozen's medical bay. Once inside and warmed up, he immediately shed his various jackets as one of the beings there greeted him.

"Are you here for His Highness?"

Dick smiled and nodded. The other being gave him a smile of bared teeth before they said, "I shall bring you to Frostbite. Please follow me."

Dick was eventually led into another room, where he finally found who he was looking for. Dick beamed and called out, "Dan! How are you?"

The moment Dan saw him, tears flooded his eyes and then he started sobbing and whimpering. He tried to mumble something but was unable to. Alarmed, Dick crossed the room and checked over him. Dan looked normal, so what was wrong?

Dick immediately switched tactics and cooed, "Aww, Danny, what's wrong? Can you talk? Does it hurt? Did the procedure go badly?"

Frostbite was the one who answered, "The procedure went well. I believe he is emotional and a tad out of it from the amount of anesthesia we had to use to subdue him in the end."

Dick grinned, gently hugging Dan's head. Dan cuddled against his stomach, still sobbing and whimpering words, wrapping both arms around him. "Awww! Are all four of them out?"

Frostbite nodded seriously. "Yes. All four of His Highness' wisdom teeth have been removed."

Dick struggled not to laugh as he looked at Dan's loopy self. At some point, everyone had realized that because Dan was so isolated at 14 years old and onwards, that he hadn't gotten his wisdom teeth removed. He had picked up a fight at the idea, but Dick was able to convince him to get Frostbite to do the procedure for him.

Hopefully, he wouldn't be angry enough to go on a rampage after this. Dick shook his head at the thought but was a little happy that he got to witness such a cute, whiny version of Dan.

He gingerly pulled Dan to his feet. Dan wobbled and then burst into another wave of tears, leaning over him and clinging on like an octopus. Dick rubbed his cheek against his head with a delighted coo as Dan cried into his shoulder before he helped him move along.

"I'll bring him home now. Thank you for taking care of him, Frostbite!" Dan made an audible growling noise at this.

"Of course! He should heal very quickly from the surgery due to his ghostly nature, but he may be sore and irritable for a few days after the procedure! For the first day, make sure that he doesn't get dry socket and no vigorous exercise!"

Frostbite reached over but before he could even do anything, Dan swiped at him with his claws. He growled lowly, glaring at him with teary, accusing eyes like Frostbite had personally done him wrong. Dick cooed again, almost squealing.

So cute! Dan being so pouty was a treat that he hadn't realized he needed!

Dick grinned and hugged Dan, ensuring that he wouldn't attack anyone else. "I'll take care of him. Thank you again!"

As they slowly moved to the vehicle that Dick used to get to the Far Frozen, he kissed the top of Dan's head as he helped him move his sluggish legs. Dan gave a small purr, squeezing his arms around him.

Dick felt his heart swell at the sight of him, vulnerable and endearing.

"Don't worry, Danny, I'll take care of you until you get back to normal, okay? C'mon, Alfred made soup for you at the Manor."

In my country we don't say "i love you" we physically and metaphorically consume the other person and settle into a life that would've been theirs and still never find the happiness we thought we would because to be our loved one is to be as fake and masked and misunderstood as they were, and i think that's beautiful

Okay let me know if I’m just being dramatic but Sophie N’s description of why Jackie died being about her hurt ego leading her to go and stay outside actually made me so sad in that latest Yellowjackets interview 😭. I know it’s just a clip of a video not a big deal, I keep hearing that TikTok sound “I need to calm down. Everything is fine, I’m an adult.”

But it genuinely hurts me when people describe Jackie’s death like that! Was her ego hurt? Absolutely, we all have egos and if our best friend (who we may or may not be in love with 😔) said the things Shauna said to Jackie ego bruise would be apart of that. Jackie’s face though when she exits the cabin she’s literally so unbelievably heartbroken it’s so much more than ego. People have dissected this show and characters time and time again so I won’t go on a huge rant. Was Jackie meant for the wilderness? No she couldn’t adapt and she would not have been okay with how the girls turned out, as we see with her standing up for Travis and wanting to discuss doomcoming. Shaming them probably wasn’t the way to go, but what they did was so scary and awful!

So when Shauna’s actress seasons later described Jackie’s death being a result of only Jackie’s own ego Im like ugh nooo! Again it’s a small clip and someone commented “Sophie N is a method actress she’s buying that Shauna Shipman propaganda full force” lol. And to be honest I’m not going to claim I know these characters better than the people who play them so I could be wrong! Thank you for coming to my TedTalk, I have no one in my life that cares about these characters the way I do so if anyone wants to message to talk about these girls please do!

Honestly, Danny is having such a good time right now. He gets to travel with Ellie, explore space, just have fun. Plus his secondary protector-instincts are having soothed despite him not technically doing any hero-ing anymore. Really his sister had the right idea when she decided she wanted to become a doctor, this is honestly a blast.

And if someone does end up passing away, well, Ellie is always happy to help soothe their spirit and guide them to the Realms where they can reach their respective afterlife. Or become a ghost. 

They are completely oblivious to the fact that there are now legends and entire temples dedicated to them now. Apparently accidental ascension is in fact a thing, as Dan later laughs at them about.
