Okay let me know if I’m just being dramatic but Sophie N’s description of why Jackie died being about her hurt ego leading her to go and stay outside actually made me so sad in that latest Yellowjackets interview 😭. I know it’s just a clip of a video not a big deal, I keep hearing that TikTok sound “I need to calm down. Everything is fine, I’m an adult.”

But it genuinely hurts me when people describe Jackie’s death like that! Was her ego hurt? Absolutely, we all have egos and if our best friend (who we may or may not be in love with 😔) said the things Shauna said to Jackie ego bruise would be apart of that. Jackie’s face though when she exits the cabin she’s literally so unbelievably heartbroken it’s so much more than ego. People have dissected this show and characters time and time again so I won’t go on a huge rant. Was Jackie meant for the wilderness? No she couldn’t adapt and she would not have been okay with how the girls turned out, as we see with her standing up for Travis and wanting to discuss doomcoming. Shaming them probably wasn’t the way to go, but what they did was so scary and awful!

So when Shauna’s actress seasons later described Jackie’s death being a result of only Jackie’s own ego Im like ugh nooo! Again it’s a small clip and someone commented “Sophie N is a method actress she’s buying that Shauna Shipman propaganda full force” lol. And to be honest I’m not going to claim I know these characters better than the people who play them so I could be wrong! Thank you for coming to my TedTalk, I have no one in my life that cares about these characters the way I do so if anyone wants to message to talk about these girls please do!

Okay low key high key it breaks my heart every single day what happened to Jackie Snackie Taylor and it genuinely makes me sad she died believing her best friend hated her and no one wanted her around. But then I have this moment of gratitude where I’m like….she could be Mari or Ben in that season three trailer sooooo…maybe it’s for the best

Hello! I am desperately looking for a Descendants fanfiction I read a few years ago. It was one of my favorite story I read. It was an AU where Mal and Evie went to high school together and then met each other again at 24. Mal got pregnant with Ben’s child at 21. So Mal has a kid and her and Evie reconnect and become best friends. But of course they fall in love and Evie gets along amazingly with Mal’s daughter.

Mal is originally an art teacher and then Ben’s family who are very wealthy help her open up her dream art studio. Evies best friend and business partner is Audrey and they moved back to that area to start their fashion business together. Audrey and Ben meet and end up dating first. Mals best friend is Uma who is with Harry and then Jay and Carlos live in the same apartment building as Mal. So they all help out with Mals daughter and are a family. Chad is good friends with Audrey and Evie as well and he is a model.

Mal and Evie are super close for most of the story and are dummies and don’t realize they are in love. But everyone else does. Mal realizes she loves Evie when Evie and Audrey went to Paris for a few weeks for business and Evie comes back and she realizes how much she missed her. Audrey makes fun of Evie for gushing about Mal and asks her when she is going to do something about her massive crush which makes Evie realize.

I’ve read this story so many times I know a lot of details I just for the life of me cannot remember the exact title or author. If anyone took the time to read all of this and knows what story I am talking about please send it my way!
