No, I don't think you guys understand. I lay awake at night thinking about the finale. I think about it all. the. time. Pun intended. I cannot sleep without thinking about it. I wake up thinking about being burdened with glorious purpose. I can hardly go hours between these thoughts. After SEVEN MOVIES and TWELVE episodes, he is ACTUALLY burdened with glorious purpose.
ONE OF LOKI'S FIRST LINES IS "it'll come, in time" AND TO TOP IT ALL OFF IT WAS RIGHT AFTER THOR SAID: "this was to be my day of triumph"
Isn't that the PINNACLE of Loki's arc. It's like he is talking to HIMSELF.
For DECADES he tried to lay claim to a throne, and it came. But it took TIMEEEE
"Both of you were born to be king."
I can't, I need to go to bed

I've been thinking a lot about Loki and Frigga these days, I don't think she's an evil, manipulative monster like some people but I do think she's a very flawed mother, from what we see in the movies she's very quick to justify and sugarcoat Odin's actions, Yes there's a deleted scene where she confronts him about Thor's banishment but it was deleted for a reason, in the movie itself we see her telling Loki that "there's always a purpose to everything your father does", she's always defending him, never her sons and that tells us a lot about the kind of mother she is, idk if it's bc she puts her position as queen above her position as a mother but she always stand by Odin's side no matter what.
Ofc we know she asks Odin not to kill Loki in tdw but that's just the bare minimum she could do, she always does everything thinking about pleasing Odin above all, she goes visiting Loki as a illusion, in secret to not anger her husband, when Loki is going through the trauma of finding out the truth about his adoption she never acknowledges any responsability for what she and Odin did, she justifies his lies agian by saying he lied to protect Loki
She doesn't acknowledge Loki's pain or his right to be angry at them, she tells him he's their son as if that's enough to heal his wounds, she doesn't ask for forgiveness and doesn't offer Loki any comfort bc her husband was taking a nap and she had to stay by his side at all seconds, it doesn't matter that her son had his whole sense of identity stripped away from him, holding Odin's hand was way more important than giving Loki a hug or anything else
I think at some moment Loki realized that she cared more about being Odin's queen than being their mother bc she'd never stand up for her sons and defend them from the abuses Odin put them through, she just kept justifying it bc she wouldn't dare going against her king, it must've hurt for Loki, realizing that he was truly all by himself in Asgard, he couldn't count on his own mother to publicly defend him from the humiliations he undoubtedly suffered, she would just sneak into his chambers and whisper some words of encouragement privately but when in public he was entirely on his own and he knew it
That's why I care more about Loki reuniting with his friends/found family than him going to New Asgard or to Asgard in the past, I have no doubts that he loves his family with his whole heart and he wants to see them again but I love the new family he built for himself in the show, he has Mobius who will defend him with everything he has and will be his emotional support, validating his feelings and genuinely listening to him, he NEVER felt like he belonged in Asgard but in the show he finally found his place, he found the people he belonged to (as stated by the crew) and he fought to save them for hundreds of years so there's no way I'd want him to leave his new home for him to go back to the place where he was mistreated, belittled and mocked just for being who he was, I want him to stay in the place where feels free to be his true self thank you very much
(Ofc that doesn't mean I don't want him and Thor to reunite again, I just think it's best for him to stay with the people he chose to be his family)

OKOKOKOKOK, but
Grandma Frigga and possibly Odin being nice and trying to make ammends with Loki when he meets his preferably granddaughter. If I learned one thing as a child, it's that a granddaughter can melt an old man's heart and change their attitude.
Hey 👋 thank you ❤️ that's such a good Request I looove it 🥺 it got me thinking for a Eternity because I had soo many Different Ideas for this one - I understand totally what you mean - I could go on and talk forever about this Topic
I am soo sorry for taking so long but I really couldn't decide on with which Idea I should go
I am proud of you ,my Son
Tumblr media
A few Days after the Birth of his Daughter,Loki offered to take care of his Baby Girl and visit his Mother,so you could rest.
You smiled and praised him for being so considerate - knowing well many Men wouldn't even think about it without having to tell them.
Before he left you reminded him to not forget to be back in no later than three hours because our Baby will get hungry.
Loki answered "Darling,I know,I know" with a smile on his Face he kissed you.
He knocked on the Door to Frigga's Private Chambers ,she opened the Door and was overjoyed to see her Granddaughter .
"Come in Loki , please sit down and relax" she offered welcoming
"Thank you, Mother" he answered with a soft smile watching the little Baby in his Arms.
"She looks just like you, the Hair and Eyes ,such a cute Baby " Frigga stated
"Thank you, Y/N thinks so too ,she said jokingly It's not fair that she had to carry the Baby for 9 Months and then it comes out looking like the Father " Loki replied - that made Frigga laugh
A short time later Odin joined Frigga "I came to see the Baby " Odin declared
Loki was surprised that Odin showed interest in seeing his Granddaughter.
After the All Father observed Loki for some time he asked "Where's your Wife ?"
"She is at home , I offered to take our Daughter with me, so she could rest " Loki answered
"My Boy , you are such a good Husband and Father,I love seeing you happy" Frigga complimented
" I am proud of you,my Son " Odin expressed - Words Loki never thought he would ever hear from his "Father" , leaving him shocked and speechless - an emotional Moment for Loki.
As Loki noticed that Frigga wanted to hold his little one, he handed her over to his Mother .
She caressed the Baby Girl's little Cheek .
" She is so adorable" Frigga marveled
Odin watched his Granddaughter intensely every movement , smile and cry
This Baby made this old Man's Heart melt and thinking about the Past especially how he treated his own Children.

Portal to My Heart (Book 1.5) Chapter One
Loki x Reader
Chapter One: To Asgard
Summary: (Y/N), Loki, and Thor arrive on Asgard for Loki's trial.
           (Y/N) stumbled as she, Loki, and Thor landed on Asgard. A man with golden eyes and a large sword gave them a glance. (Y/N) was disconcerted by how knowing the look in the man’s eyes were, like he already knew everything about her.
            “Welcome back, Prince Thor,” said the man.
            “Heimdall! It’s good to be back!” laughed Thor.
            “And Prince Loki. You’ve returned,” said Heimdall.
            Loki sneered beneath the muzzle. Thor removed the device, finally off of Earth and the nervousness of the mortals. “Heimdall. What, no words of ‘wisdom’ for me? No gloating about my capture?”
            “Odin will have enough to say to you,” said Heimdall.
            Odin. King of the gods of Asgard. (Y/N) nearly groaned. She forgot that she would have to deal with another man in power. That would be annoying, and she would have to be careful the entire time. Damn.
            “Oh, how lovely. A nice chat with Odin,” said Loki.
            “Come, Loki,” said Thor before pulling him forward. “This way, Lady (Y/N).”
            (Y/N) followed, nodding to Heimdall. He inclined his head in acknowledgement. (Y/N) followed Thor and Loki across the rainbow bridge connecting Heimdall’s room to the floating rock Asgard rested on. (Y/N) couldn’t stop her eyes from widening at the iridescent shine of the bridge, the glittering gold spires of Asgard’s palace, and the flowing waterfalls cascading into space. She had to admit, it was a bit intimidating to be walking in as a regular human.
            But I’m not regular, thought (Y/N). Not anymore. I have abilities. She considered. Granted, I have no idea what the hell I’m doing with them, but still.
            (Y/N) was silent as she walked behind Loki and Thor into the palace. Guards glanced at her, as did various patrons, but (Y/N) kept her gaze firmly forward. She wasn’t going to cower away, not even in her dirty clothes and bruises in the midst of all the gleaming beauty.
            So even when the guards moved around them and the doors of the throne room opened to reveal the King of Asgard reclined on a golden throne, (Y/N) remained steady.
            Loki’s chains clanked as he walked forward. His features were ice cold, even as Thor and (Y/N) walked to the side, even as Odin stared down at him disapprovingly, and even as Frigga watched him sorrowfully.
            “Loki,” she called out.
            Loki paused. “Hello, Mother. Have I made you proud?”
            “Please. Don’t make this worse.” The words were firm but caring, barely containing Frigga’s continued concern for her son.
            “Define ‘worse,’ ” responded Loki.
            “Enough.”
            Odin spoke, and all other sound finished. (Y/N) glanced between Odin and Loki, wondering what was about to happen. “I will speak to the prisoner.”
            Frigga stepped to the side. Even though Thor, (Y/N), and the Queen were still in the room, it was clear that this matter remained between Loki and Odin.
            I mean, there’s no doubt Loki is guilty of…nearly every crime I can think of, but this is a strange trial. I don’t think Asgard’s legal system makes a lot of sense, thought (Y/N).
            Loki took another step forward before chuckling. “I really don’t see what all the fuss is about.”
            (Y/N) rolled her eyes. There Loki went with the pompous tone he used for bragging, building up his image. It was so dramatic it was nauseating.
            “Do you truly not feel the gravity of your crimes?” challenged Odin. “Wherever you go, there is war, ruin, and death.”
            Loki’s face fell for a moment, but his façade was up once more before it could be caught. “I went down to Midgard to rule the people of Earth as a benevolent god. Just like you.”
            (Y/N) nearly snorted contemptuously but managed to maintain some decorum.
            “We are not gods,” said Odin. “We are born, we live, we die. Just as humans do.”
            “Give or take five thousand years,” retorted Loki.
            “All this because Loki desires a throne,” said Odin.
            And because some strange aliens gave him a scepter than transformed that desire into an obsession to kill for, thought (Y/N), remembering the cold tendrils of magic the scepter had pushed onto her when she held it. She knew such power had been eating at Loki. So why isn’t he mentioning that he was partly mind-controlled? Pretty good legal defense, in my opinion.
            “It is my birthright,” said Loki sharply.
            “Your birthright was to die!” said Odin, his voice raised and clear in the silence. It cut through the air like a knife. “As a child. Cast out onto a frozen rock.”
            Loki’s face was carefully calm. Whatever emotions that lay beneath the surface were locked away. He wouldn’t cry out or weep or do anything so weak. He’d stand Odin’s words.
            “If I had not taken you in, you would not be here now to hate me,” said Odin.
            “If I am for the axe, then for mercy’s sake, just wing it,” said Loki, almost taunting Odin. “It’s not that I don’t love our little talks, it’s just…I don’t love them.”
            “Frigga is the only reason you’re still alive,” said Odin. “And you will never see her again. You will spend the rest of your days in the dungeons.”
            The guards pulled Loki back with the chains, and Loki’s eyes narrowed. “And what of Thor? You’ll make that witless oaf king while I rot in chains.”
            “Thor must strive to undo the damage you have done,” said Odin. “He will bring order to the Nine Realms…And then, yes…he will be king.”
            Loki’s eyes narrowed as he was pulled back. (Y/N) was surprised when Thor pushed her forward slightly and joined her before Odin.
            “Father,” said Thor.
            “Thor. Who is this?” said Odin.
            “This is Lady (Y/N),” said Thor. “Due to the Tesseract and Loki’s actions, she was exposed to magic and gained abilities of her own.”
            “The people wanted to experiment on me, and I don’t think of myself as a science project,” said (Y/N), shrugging. “Thor offered to take me here, and I accepted.”
            “Yes! She was of great help during the battle! And she was strong against Loki throughout! She has the makings of a great warrior,” said Thor boisterously.
            “Uh, no, no, I don’t,” said (Y/N). She had jumped ship from SHIELD; she didn’t intend to be drafted to another organization.
            “You went against Loki?” said Odin suddenly.
            Damn, I didn’t want to discuss that. thought (Y/N). “…Yes.” She glanced at Loki, and their eyes met. (Y/N) felt a phantom of the pain of his spell on her skin and narrowed her eyes.
            “He performed a spell on you,” said Frigga. She could sense the vestiges of her son’s magic on her.
            “Yeah.” (Y/N) wasn’t a liar. “But I’m fine now.” He released it.
            Frigga smiled and turned to Odin. “Husband, if our son has wronged her, it is the least we can do to allow her to stay here if she is in danger on Midgard. Besides, I could help her with her abilities.”
            (Y/N) blinked in surprise. She raised Loki? She seemed reasonable and polite. Loki was illogical and so annoying (Y/N) wanted to slap him whenever he spoke. Or, almost whenever.
            Odin narrowed his eyes. “Indeed, I suppose some sort of reward is in order for assisting in returning Loki to see the consequences of his actions. Perhaps a knighthood.”
            Loki rolled his eyes.
            “Just some food…a room…” (Y/N) glanced down at her dirty sweatpants and shirt. “…and clothes. That’s all I need.”
            “Of course, my dear,” said Frigga, swooping in before Odin could say anything else. “To talk about fighting after you just finished a battle is quite tiring, I know.”
            “Yes! Let’s look forward to a brighter future! Glory for us all,” said Thor.
            “And the dungeons for me,” said Loki bitterly.
            That did dampen Thor’s mood, and Frigga’s gaze turned mournful. Odin’s eyes remained sharp.
            “You brought this upon yourself,” said Odin.
            “No. You brought it when you stole me as a relic, as a pawn,” spat Loki.
            Odin waved a hand at the guards. “Take him away.”
            (Y/N) watched as Loki was pulled away. Why didn’t he actually defend himself?
l
            “I’ve brought a selection of clothes for you,” said Frigga, guiding (Y/N) into a room. “I hope you are comfortable. Dinner will be served later. I will send some servants to assist you.”
            “…Why are you doing this?” said (Y/N). “I’m one of the reasons Loki is in the dungeons. You seem to care about him. It doesn’t make sense for you to be kind to me.”
            “You are a victim. Loki has made mistakes, clearly,” said Frigga. “I will not hold that against you.” She smiled softly. “Besides, you seemed…lost. And I do not throw women to the wolves from whence they came.”
            “Thank you,” said (Y/N). She knew she’d like Frigga. The Queen smiled and turned to leave. “Frigga-I mean, my Lady.”
            Frigga turned. “Yes?”
            “Loki…He took the spell off of me. Of his own free will.” (Y/N) clicked her tongue as she tried to find the right words. “He’s not a hero. A lot of people died because of him. But, uh, I thought you should know he did one thing right.”
            Frigga smiled. “Thank you. It’s good to know my son is still in there somewhere.” And then she left.
            Right. In there under the mind control over him. (Y/N) frowned. She needed to know why Loki hadn’t defended himself. Even though it didn’t excuse all he had done, (Y/N) still felt it should be shared. Justice and fair trial and honesty and all that drivel was surprisingly important to her.
            He’s going to be insufferable… She groaned. But I guess curiosity killed the cat and satisfaction brought him back, so off I go.
            She glanced down at herself. But not in these clothes. Stupid superheroes with their costumes. What do I get? Sweatpants. I’ve got holes and blood and bruises and who knows what.
            (Y/N) crossed to the wardrobe and opened the doors. It seemed it was time for her to blend in on Asgard, one uniform for another.
l
            (Y/N) wandered through the halls of the palace. She really had no clue where she was going, and she doubted that it would go well for her if she asked a random person “hey, where’s the prison, I want to talk to Loki.” So, (Y/N) had opted to wander around and take any staircase she found that went downwards since, usually, jails were below everything else. Hopefully Asgardians followed the same logic.
            Luckily, they did, and (Y/N) walked down a flight of stairs to find a long room with pure white cells on either side of a wide hall. Each cell was blocked with energy shields, keeping the prisoners within.
            (Y/N) stepped towards the only furnished cell around. Loki stood within, dressed in more casual green clothing, his armor gone.
            “Well, well, well, someone’s adjusted to her new position quickly,” said Loki, glancing at (Y/N)’s outfit.
            She wore a traditional Asgardian outfit, long and flowing. (Y/N) rolled their eyes at Loki’s jab. “They gave me Asgardian outfits. God forgive me for wanting to be clean.”
            “Oh? All done up for me? I’m honored,” said Loki, sarcasm dripping from his words.
            “The day I dress up for you is the day you become humble,” said (Y/N).
            “Well, then, to what do I owe the pleasure of your presence?” said Loki. He sneered. “Here to gloat over my predicament and your freedom?”
            “That’s what you would do,” said (Y/N). “And surprisingly, I’m here because I felt a slight bit of concern for you.”
            “Concern for me?” Loki grinned widely. “Poor Midgardian, did you get attached?”
            “It is a tiny bit of concern. Tiny. Insignificant. Miniscule. Microscopic. Infinitesimal,” said (Y/N).
            Loki winced as they continued on. “Yes, yes, you’ve made your point clear.”
            “Then you’ll take me seriously instead of being an ass?” said (Y/N).
            “I don’t take pitiful Midgardians seriously,” said Loki.
            “You’re going to take this one seriously after you put a spell on me.” (Y/N) crossed her arms. “You owe me.”
            “I already released the spell,” said Loki, almost defensively.
            “Well, I also released a spell from you,” snapped (Y/N).
            The scepter’s control of his mind.
            Loki froze, knowing to what she referred.
            (Y/N) took the moment of silence to speak. “Why didn’t you tell them?”
            “Tell them what?” questioned Loki, feigning ignorance.
            “That you didn’t have control of your mind. At least, not completely,” said (Y/N). “I could feel that scepter’s power when I held it for a few minutes; I can’t imagine what you felt. So why haven’t you told anyone?”
            Loki smirked. “Why? Do you wish I was free of this cage?”
            (Y/N) rolled her eyes. “No, I want people to get the help you need. On Earth, we have something called therapy. I think you would benefit from it. Just locking people up doesn’t fix any problems.”
            “I don’t have any problems,” said Loki, turning away.
            (Y/N) pinched her brow. “God, are you seriously not saying anything because of your pride?” She sighed and looked at him seriously. “I hope you get over yourself. There are still some pieces of a good person in you.” She turned and walked away.
            She muttered under her breath as she stormed out of the jail. “Unbelievable. Prideful ass if going to get himself killed. And he’s just going to get worse stuck in that cell. Stupid Asgardians and their stupid inability to see reason. Adopted family my ass, they’re all stubborn. Only Frigga has a proper head on her shoulders. Unbelievable.
            In his cell, Loki watched (Y/N) go. He hated being called out, and to have the Midgardian who had stood up to him before still be causing him more trouble than he would have liked was frustrating. However, he couldn’t deny the surprise, a bit pleasant after all the disappointment in his mother’s eyes and Odin’s anger, at (Y/N) having a bit of concern, no matter how small they said it was.
            Loki supposed that if he had to choose someone to divert him while he was stuck in this cell, he’d choose (Y/N). She was entertaining and wild. Yes, stuck in the cells of Asgard, having someone to strong-willed would be nice.
            And someone actually looking for solutions to “help” him wasn’t bad, either. Not that he needed help.

Do you ever think about how scared Thor was to lose Loki… He experimented Loki hating him and denouncing him as his brother, so soon after Loki had said 'never doubt that I love you', he saw Loki ignore his pleas and let go because Odin said no and Thor's brain chemistry was changed forever.
1 ) His response was 'We all did' when Loki asked him 'Did you miss me?'. The fact he didn't consider that Loki was particularly asking about him, he was desperate to make Loki believe that others care about him, that all missed him. It will convince Loki.
I wonder if he spent an year trying to fight his own thoughts that Loki didn't actually hate him or Loki didn't care about him so he let go
2) He says 'I will tell father...' right after 'stay with me, okay' trying not to cry like a baby, thinking Loki will stay if he knows that Odin is proud of him.
All I want to say is Thor is so soft and pure hearted, it pains me to see that he thinks that he doesn't deserve love and he is bound to believe so because everyone he loved left him, that nobody loved Thor, they loved the hero, the prince, the protector.
Sorry I'm crying
oh my god anon…that’s the thing i’m sensitive about :(
i think (?) i’ve talked about this on here or at the very least on twitter but truly truly i think that every action thor takes post-thor (2011) can be traced back to what happens to him in that movie. it really is the formative experience of his life in a very bad way.
thor’s always been unsure of himself, i think. we know that both loki and frigga can see through his facade before the coronation, so we know his whole self-assured cockiness is on some levels an act. and he goes to loki for so much reassurance and guidance and trusts him so much. i can’t imagine what it must have felt like at the most tumultuous time (so far) in thor’s life to hear loki say he doesn’t love him, that they aren’t brothers. and for loki to kill him!!! i mean, fuck, guys. imagine what that would make thor think. “loki thinks that i’m a bad enough person that i should die”. and doesn’t even disagree with him. thor just accepts that he’s beyond saving and puts himself up on the chopping block, essentially bc loki asked him to.
and also those are really good examples of thor putting everyone else’s feelings before his own that i hadn’t picked up on. thank you for sharing cause i think you’re absolutely right. with the “we all did” line, i do think he was trying so hard to convince loki that he was loved by everyone, not just himself. i think, honestly, that thor was trying to like…delegate (for lack of a better word) his love for loki, in a way? kind of diluting his own emotions so he doesn’t appear as vulnerable. it’s something he does in parts of the dark world, too, especially in the scene where he’s trying to convince loki to join their quest to the dark world. “that hope no longer exists to protect you.” we know that he’s bluffing, and i think he’s bluffing bc he doesn’t want to be the only one who cares, since he thinks loki hates him. and also, yes i absolutely do think that thor fully believed that loki hated him. i don’t think thor knew that loki still cared about him at all until the end of ragnarok…
AND this is making me insane bc you’re RIGHT…if thor doesn’t think loki loves him, ofc he’d say “i’ll tell father…” bc he doesn’t think that loki would’ve sacrificed himself for just him 😭😭 WHAT THE HELL
but yeah :( you’re right. thank you for the pain. respectfully fuck loki for making him feel that way

frost giant loki hc’s:
(these hc’s are set AFTER odin reveals his real origins)
Since Loki has no recollection of his time in Joutunheim (bc duh baby) he secretly travels back…part of him hates that odin tool him…but the other part is forever grateful.
Loki would use every spell in his book to rid him of being a frost giant, but he almost dies trying. he cries for 3 days straight. and he’s still not ok.
Ever since the reality of himself sunk in…he decided to walk in his own skin for a day…just to give it a try. Everyone was repulsed by him, even Thor. All except Frigga. Forst Giant Loki loves her.
He sleeps with a heating blanket. Loki started sleeping in his Joutun form but he still can’t live with how cold his true form is.
Frost Giant Loki…makes snow castles in his room, and when he feels like it, he’ll send ice candies to the kids that live on Asgard.
Loki thinks Thor is an idiot if he doesn’t notice how abundantly different he treats him in his normal form, versus his Frost Giant Form…
Loki gets nightmares more often, he was always told of the monsters of Joutunheim that do awful things…and now that he knows…his mind is filled with so much fear and pain.
Frost Giant Loki doesn’t say this, but when summer time in Asgard rolls around, he hides away in his chambers. He’ll make some excuse like he is sick or tired or busy, but in reality, the sun burns his skin leaving scars and blisters.
He still gets shamed by Odin on some days and the anger he feels transfers into small snow storms.
With his newfound power, Loki is slowly learning how to combine the magic and spells his mother taught him with the power of ice and snow he now has. Frigga is amazed by the things he can do and it very proud of him.
He stares at the mirror longer these days, not out of fear, but out of adoration as he learns to love himself.

Library Talks

Tumblr media
Asgard 2011
Loki couldn't tell what Astri was thinking as the week flew by. He was kept busy with different kingly duties, primarily meetings and at one point he imparted his blessing on a noble family's newest child. His free time was divided between Astri and his mother. Frigga had only left Odin's side to bathe and change her clothes while Astri was spending most of her time as far away from the throne room as possible. He could tell she was uncomfortable talking to him whenever he was on the throne so they hadn't seen each other since their moment in the weapons vault.
He had spent much of his time today plotting. He wanted to be rid of Odin permanently. Thor was already out of the picture. Loki had visited him once on Earth and given him the news that their father had "passed". Thor's face indicated that he was distraught but, Loki only saw the emotion show when he lied about their mother's feelings towards Thor. His next step to being on the throne was rather simple. Laufey had agreed to kill Odin, of course, he had he hated the old man as much as Loki did. Now, all Loki had to do was follow all the way through with his plan, and Joutunheim and his true parentage would be gone for good. Then, he could truly be worthy. That was truly what he wanted. He wanted to feel less alone and more worthwhile. Most of all, he wanted to be someone Astri could be proud of growing up with. Tomorrow his plans would be set in motion and when they finished he'd finally be Thor's equal, someone worthy of his station in life.
He had initially sworn he wouldn't visit Astri until after he was someone she'd be proud of but after his final council meeting his legs carried him to her. From his spot in the doorway of the library, she could see her. Her long hair was free-flowing and shone as the sun streamed into the room. He smiled when her nose scrunched slightly, the book on the desk in front of her the cause.
   "What are you reading?" He asked taking the seat beside her
   "Some of the the Kree's history. It's rather violent." Astri said shutting the book.
Loki nodded slowly. Maybe coming here wasn't a good idea. Astri didn't seem exactly thrilled to see him in fact, she seemed rather tired and maybe a bit stressed.
   "How was ruling Asgard today?" She asked
   "It was fine. It would have been better if you had eaten lunch with me the way you normally do." He said
   "I was busy," Astri mumbled
   "With what? Reading your life away in this stuffy room?" He questioned, angered by her response
   "Why does it even matter to you what I do with my time? You should be busy giving orders and kissing babies." Astri said
   "It matters because we have spent the last thousand years together and all of a sudden you decide I am no longer worth your time because I have a new position. If anything you should be glad for me, celebrating that I am on the throne instead of that oaf." Loki spat
   "God it's always about Thor!" Astri exclaimed springing from her chair and beginning to walk to the door
   "It is not always about Thor." Loki said, blocking her escape route "I just...want..."
   "What do you want Loki?" She asked avoiding his eyes.
He thought about telling her his plans to get rid of the Joutuns about how he had lied to Thor about Odin. But then he thought about how she'd react. Her love for Thor would outweigh her love for him and he'd be met with nothing but judgment.
   "Fine. Don't tell me anything. You never do anyway." Astri said before slamming the door in his face.
Loki was left in the library just like that, alone and in deafening silence. In his mind, whatever reservations he had about his plans for tomorrow melted away as Astri ran away from him and his ideals.
⋆⭒˚。⋆
That night, Astri's dreams were particularly vivid. Maybe it was her fight with Loki or the fact that she missed Thor and his bad jokes and infinite appetite for ale but she found herself dreaming of her past.
Asgard 2001
The party had lasted long, even by Asgardian standards. Astri swore, Thor and Volstagg couldn't get any drunker as she snuck away from the hall. She had been invited to drink some more with them but she feared that if one more thing went into her stomach she'd explode. The night air of the gardens was perfectly refreshing as she walked and admired the flowers that were in bloom.
   "Too much time with Thor?" a voice asked
Astri turned to see Loki standing behind her, his usual armor was gone and he was in a much more comfortable version of his usual attire.
   "Something like that." Astri smiled
   "I'm glad you're here," Loki said falling into step with her
   "Of course you are. I'm great." Astri bragged, laughing when Loki cast her a sideways glance.
   "Anyway...I'm glad you're here because I've been wanting to give this to you." Loki said, his palm glowing suddenly and a silver necklace with soft green stones appeared.
   "I saw this on Thor and I's trip to Xandar. I thought it would suit you nicely."Loki said holding it so the moonlight glinted off the stones.
   "It's beautiful." Astri breathed
   "Turn. I want to see it on you." Loki said
The coolness of the metal was a stark contrast to her face which was going red as Loki fastened the necklace on her. Her hair was brushed slightly by his fingertips as the silver shone in the moonlight.
   "There," Loki said proudly
Astri turned back to him awaiting his opinion.
   "It is perfect. I knew I had a good eye." He smiled  straightening the necklace
   "Thank you, Loki. I love it." Astri said bringing him into a warm hug.
Astri woke up, her ceiling stared back at her as she wrapped her fingers around the necklace that sat on her. She only removed it when she bathed, it was one of the few things she had that she truly treasured and Loki had given it to her. She wished she could time travel back to that moment to see the Loki she had grown up with not the one who was sitting on the throne now. She wished Loki would understand that she didn't want the king of Asgard. She just wanted him. Loki as he was before his ambitions truly got the better of him.
Hello everyone Sorry this update is later than I had expected. I recently moved houses so things are crazy since there's stuff all over our new place. This chapter is a little short since I was preoccupied with the move. I promise to get back to better-quality chapters asap.

Frigga and Astrid were sitting together near a cluster of flowering dogwood trees. The pink and white petals blanketed the stones along the path to where the ladies were seated at a small wrought iron table. An assortment of nuts, cheese, and dates sat on an intricate golden tray. The warm breeze made the petals dance and flutter as the ladies sipped their tea. They had a wonderful conversation until the subject shifted to the wedding.
The Queen set her teacup on the table and asked, “You seem preoccupied, Astrid. Is something the matter?”
“Apologies, Your Majesty. The wedding approaches quickly. I am trying to come to terms with going home without my little girl.”
Frigga placed her hand over Astrid’s and gave it a few little pats. “I understand how difficult that must be.”
“I am happy for my daughter to be getting married and to a prince at that.” She smiled at the queen, “I will miss her terribly. We may not agree on much, but I could always count on seeing her every day. I know I should be grateful for all my years with her.” She sighed, “Why do they have to grow up so fast?”
“It is the cruelty of becoming a mother, I’m afraid. Although eventually, we will be rewarded with grandchildren. Won’t that be wonderful?”
Astrid smiled, “Sigyn has wanted to be a mother for as long as I can remember. She had quite the doll collection. Erik would bring her a new ‘baby’ every time he returned home from a trip, every birthday, anytime she got good marks in school, any opportunity he could.” Her smile fell.
“Then the dolls were eventually replaced with dresses, shoes, and jewelry. We spoiled her, but how could we not?” She shrugged her shoulders, “She is our miracle. My answered prayer.”
“And you believe Loki to be the one who answered your prayer?”
Astrid looked sheepishly at Frigga, “I do not have any other explanation. He remembered my unspoken prayer word for word.”
Frigga took Astrid’s hands in hers, “The golden apples from Idunn’s tree affect each of us differently. Loki can tap into someone’s mind, see their memories and hear their thoughts, but I’ve never seen him heal anyone. Perhaps he heard your prayer because you were holding him? He needs to be touching someone to read their thoughts.”
“Well, yes, I would hold him on my lap, stroke his hair, and hold his chubby little hands as he drifted off to sleep. And I would pray. Over and over, I would pray for another baby of my own. I went to the nursery almost every day that we were here.”
“There is no doubt that Loki heard your mind.” Frigga furrowed her brow and looked off into the distance, pondering. “I will need to do some scrying to see how exactly you were able to conceive.”
She looked at Frigga with wide eyes. “How old was he when you fed him the golden apple?”
“Odin was insistent that the boys got their apples as soon as they had teeth.”
“Oh, goodness. So, they were both babies at the time?”
“Yes, their ceremonies were each quite comical.  Thor shrieked after he finished his apple and was not permitted to take another. Loki had just learned to sit up on his own and was more interested in tossing the apple and rolling it around on the dais than eating it.”
“Goodness,” Astrid laughed. “Why so young?”
“As you know, the King is extremely selective. Only those with the strongest elements may receive the gift. He was so proud when the boys were born; he could not wait to bring them into the fold, to start their tutelage. And he wanted them to have the protection of Asgard’s magic as soon as possible.”
“Are you telling me that the King is a big softie?  It is hard to picture.”
“That is on purpose,” Frigga smiled. “He must rule with an iron fist, without exception. One whiff of vulnerability and our enemies would pounce. But Odin is a different man behind closed doors. He is gentle, sentimental, and empathetic. Do not let him know I told you that,” she chuckled.
Astrid grinned, “Of course not.”
“He was a good father when he was not being a king. He focused most of his efforts on Thor, obviously; he was the heir to the throne, strong as an ox, and the spitting image of Odin. But he was just as proud of Loki, in his own way.”
Frigga smiled, “We were both shocked when he was born with a head full of black curls and looking almost exactly like my late father. When he started showing a predilection for seiðr, Odin started referring to him as ‘your son.’ So, he had his boy, and I had mine.”
Frigga took a sip from her teacup and set it back down again. “Loki projects an heir of haughty arrogance, but he is a sweet boy under that cool demeanor. He would be the first to throw himself in front of someone he cares about. And I know he cares about Sigyn, not just superficially; he loves that girl.”
“And she him.” Astrid smiled, “She has had a crush on the prince for as long as I can remember. It was always, ‘Prince Loki is so handsome, Mama.’ and ‘Prince Loki can wield seiðr, Mama.’ She would moon over his portrait for hours if I would let her.
“She was such a naughty little thing when she was young. Just picture me trying to raise a proper little lady and her winking and blowing kisses to framed art on the wall!” She clutched her necklace, “Where she even learned such behavior, I could not tell you.”
Frigga held her stomach and laughed, “Oh, that is precious.”
One of Frigga’s ladies approached the table and curtsied, “Excuse me, Your Majesty. The Prince and the Lady Sigyn have just arrived at the garden gate.”
“Ah, very good. Please bring us a fresh pot of tea and two more cups.”
“Yes, Your Majesty.” She curtsied and collected the teapot before she hurried away.
oOXOo
Loki and Sigyn came through the garden gate as one of the Queen’s ladies approached and curtsied. “The Queen and the Lady Anderson are having tea under the dogwood trees, Your Highness.”
Loki nodded, “Thank you.” When they were out of earshot of the maid, he leaned over and whispered in Sigyn’s ear, “I think I will take us there the long way.”
She tightened her grip on his arm, “You will get no complaint from me.”
Loki led her off the stone path to a smaller gravel walkway that wound through an ornate flower bed. “Mother designed this garden herself. She spends most of her free time out here.”
“I can see why. It is stunning.” They followed the meandering path until they came across a small pond. Sigyn stopped to admire some purple irises planted along the water’s edge. “It is very peaceful out here.”
She looked over to Loki and caught him staring at her face with a look that could only be described as adoring. “Oh, Loki.” she stroked his face with her free hand, “I love you so much. When you look at me like that…” she ran her fingertips lightly along his cheekbones, “I feel like my heart could explode right out of my chest.”
Loki touched her neck and stroked her jaw with his thumb. “You are the hidden treasure I never knew I was searching for.”
Tears pricked her eyes. She wrapped her arms around his middle and put her head on his shoulder. He rested his head against hers and stroked her hair.
“I am never going to let you go,” she said through her sniffles. They held each other, swaying in the warm sunlight for several minutes. Each of them not wanting to be the first to let go.
“Riiibbit.” A giant bullfrog croaked as he plopped onto a stone in the pond with a squelch, startling the couple.
“Excuse me. We are trying to have a moment here. Move along.” Loki dismissed the frog with a wave.
“Riiibbit.” The bullfrog responded, staring at Loki.
“Rude!” He glared back at the frog, his lips curling up at the corners. Sigyn giggled. “We will get no more privacy here. Let us go.”
She gave the bullfrog a little wave as Loki led her away.
oOXOo
Frigga heard the pair approach before she could see them. Their heavy footfalls and shouting taunts broke up the peace in the garden. Loki rounded a corner and ran down the path at full speed, Sigyn running a little behind him.
“I won!” he yelled triumphantly at her before stopping to bow to his mother, “Mother.”
“Not fair! I do not know my way around this garden! And I am wearing a dress!” She yelled back, slowing down as she rounded the corner and saw her mother's unmistakable look of displeasure. She quickly walked the last twenty yards to where Loki stood waiting for her.
“You cannot sour my victory with your logic, My Lady. I will still relish your defeat.” He was grinning from ear to ear. He placed his hand on her back as she approached the table.
She tried to catch her breath as she curtsied deeply to the Queen, “Your Majesty.”  She gave her mother a peck on the cheek, “Mama.”
Lady Anderson stood and curtsied to the prince, “Your Highness.”
“My Lady.” He helped push her seat back in before sitting Sigyn next to her.
Frigga raised her eyebrows, “Loki, why were you making this poor girl run through the garden?”
“Oh, I was not making her do anything, Mother.” Loki conjured a tall glass of cold water and passed it to Sigyn, “Here you go, sweetling.” She nodded a thank you as she accepted it. “My betrothed wrongly believes that she can outrun me. So, we agreed to a foot race.” He shrugged as he plucked a date from the tray and passed it to Sigyn.
“You did what?!” Lady Anderson moved to the edge of her seat. She leveled Sigyn with a glare. Sigyn dropped her eyes to her lap as she nibbled the date. “How many times must I remind you that you are a Lady, Sigyn.” Her mother said through clenched teeth. “Ladies do not challenge people to foot races! Especially men! Especially in the presence of royalty.”
“Sorry, Mama. We were having a bit of fun.”
Lady Anderson sighed, exasperated, “A bit of fun?” She shook her head in disbelief as she clutched her necklace.
“Honestly, My Lady, I love that Sigyn feels she can challenge me. I love her spirit and her tenacity. I cannot imagine spending the rest of my life with some vapid woman who has trained her whole life to pander to me.” He rubbed Sigyn’s cheek with his knuckle as he smiled at her.
“Yes, of course, you are right, Your Highness,” Lady Anderson replied tightly.
“My case in point.” Loki laced his fingers together and rested his elbows on the arms of the chair as he leaned back.
“Loki, a little more decorum in front of our guest,” the Queen said.
“Apologies, My Lady. I did not mean any offense.” He straightened his posture and reached across the table for her hand.
“Sigyn is fortunate to be betrothed to someone so… accepting of her demeanor.” Lady Anderson placed her hand on Loki’s, and he quickly kissed the back of it. “She has always leaned a little on the boisterous side. I blame her father.”
“Please, I am the lucky one.” Loki passed Sigyn another date.
“Speaking of fortune and luck,” the queen interjected, “I need to clarify something you mentioned at lunch, Sigyn.”
“Yes, Your Majesty.” Sigyn covered her mouth as she chewed.
“You mentioned to me that you felt connected to Loki from an early age. Care to elaborate on that a little more for me, please?”
“Yes,” She cleared her throat, “As I told you the other day at lunch, I have felt drawn to the prince ever since I was tiny.” She smiled at Loki and continued, “One day, his portrait stopped me dead in my tracks. I felt a connection that I cannot explain. I knew, somehow, that I would one day be his wife. And the day we met,” tears pricked her eyes, she shook her head and fought to keep her composure, “the day we met in person…I do not have the words to describe the feeling… a piece of myself that had been missing was returned. I felt complete.” She wiped a tear from her cheek. “I am sorry if that makes no sense. That is the best way that I have to describe it.”
Lady Anderson moved to comfort her daughter, but Loki was already en route to wrapping an arm around her shoulders. He kissed her temple as he dried her cheeks with his thumb. Sigyn looked at him and gave him a sweet smile. Loki took some cheese from the tray and offered it to her. She laughed through her tears, “Thank you, my love,” she whispered as they rested their foreheads together.
“And Loki? Can you tell me more about when you first met Sigyn?” The queen looked pensive.
Loki’s cheeks flushed slightly, “Aside from being completely bowled over by her beauty, grace, and warmth, I would say that my initial reaction was quite… possessive. I felt time come to a screeching halt. My vision blocked out everything but her. All the pain in my body relented briefly. And I knew she was mine and that I would be hers. I tried desperately to deny it. But I knew. Somehow. She was mine. She is mine. She…is…mine.”
Loki looked away from Sigyn to find the other two women staring at him intently. “What? Is that not how everyone falls in love?”
“No.” the Queen said as she went deep in thought. After a moment, she asked, “Sigyn, Astrid, may I have a strand of your hair? Loki, you as well. Root attached, please.” She held out her hand, and Loki, Sigyn, and Lady Anderson each plucked a stand from their scalps and placed it in the queen’s open palm.
Frigga summoned her soapstone smudge bowl to the table and twisted the hairs together. She placed them in the bowl. A heatless yellow flame rose from the bowl as Frigga held her hands over it. She stared into the flame; her eyes took on a yellow glow.
“I see,” she said faintly.
Sigyn reached over and clutched Loki’s arm with both hands. Lady Anderson clutched her necklace with one hand and held her stomach with the other.
Loki scooted to the edge of his seat, “What do you see, Mother?”
“I see the Lady in the nursery. I feel her pain.” Frigga grimaced and clutched her abdomen, not taking her eyes from the flame; she said, “I see the boy toddling over to her with a book.” She smiled briefly before her face shifted. Her eyes widened, “I see the Nornir… they argue… the tapestry… the Lady’s fate… Atropos relents, Lachesis instructs, Clotho weaves… a new pattern emerges… the boy… the girl…”
The flame in her bowl died down. Frigga closed her eyes, “I have been shut out from seeing any further than today.” She took a few deep breaths to center herself. She opened her eyes and took a sip of her tea.
“The Norns intervened on your behalf, Astrid. They heard your prayer, felt your longing, and changed your fate.”
“Oh...” Lady Anderson clutched her heart with both hands, “Oh my stars…”
“They used a small fiber of Loki’s thread to patch what was missing in yours. A small piece of his divine element, his mischief. The piece was so small that it only healed you long enough to conceive Sigyn and carry her to term. It created an irrevocable bond between the two of them as well.”
Frigga looked to Loki, “You see it in her eyes too, do you not?”
“It was one of the first things I noticed about her. It took my breath away.” Loki looked at Sigyn and the unmistakable glint in her eyes. “I had no idea it was part of my own.”
“Excuse me, but I do not understand. How does one see mischief?” Lady Anderson took Sigyn’s chin and looked at her daughter’s face. “All I see are her pretty green eyes.”
“Only the Gods can see the divine elements, My Lady. I am sorry. It is a sight to behold,” Frigga stated.
“I suppose I owe your father an apology, Sigyn. All these years, I believed him to blame for your naughtiness.”
Frigga laughed, “Sigyn is responsible for her own behavior, My Lady. I assure you that her free will has not been tampered with.”
Sigyn blushed and tucked her chin to her shoulder, turning her face away from her mother’s disapproval. “I see.” The Lady picked up her teacup and took a sip.
Loki took Sigyn’s hand and kissed it, “Would you like another snack, my sweet? I could conjure you something else if you like?” he asked her as he noticed that she had finished off the dates.
Sigyn’s eyes lit up and then fell as her mother cleared her throat. “Thank you, Your Highness. But I… should pass.  I have my final fitting for my wedding gown tomorrow. I want it to look perfect for you.”
Loki scoffed, “I would not care if you walked down the aisle in a burlap sack. Your happiness is my only concern.” He conjured a small pumpkin muffin and placed it in her hands with a kiss on the forehead.
Heat came to his cheeks as he remembered her nakedness from earlier. The curve of her hips, the fullness of her breasts, the cute little bump of her empty womb that poked out slightly between her hip bones. She was athletic and strong while still having the feminine softness that awoke something feral in him. His eyes dropped from her face to the curve of her breasts at the top of her dress.
“Loki?” Frigga said again as she kicked his boot under the table.
“What? Yes, Mother? Did you say something?” Loki tore his gaze from Sigyn to look at the Queen. He heard Sigyn giggle as she tore off a piece of her muffin.
“I asked if you had decided on the apartment.”
“Oh, yes…” Loki cleared his throat, “Yes, we are taking the corner unit directly south of yours, Mother. We are going to be neighbors.”
“Oh, how wonderful,” Frigga beamed. “I am so pleased for the two of you.”
“Fredrik said he would have our furniture delivered and the changes we want to be completed by the wedding day. Sigyn and her maids can move her clothes to the closet immediately. He even gave her her own set of keys to do so.”
Sigyn reached into the pocket of her dress and pulled out a gold keyring. She jingled them above her head. “I am so excited.” She smiled at her mother, “Would you like to help me organize my things in my new rooms, Mama?”
“I would like that, yes,” she sobbed.
The Queen stood, “That session has drained me, I’m afraid. I need to go lie down before dinner.” Frigga signaled to her ladies.
Everyone bowed and curtsied after she stood. “Are you all right, Mother? Would you like me to escort you back to your chambers?”
“No, I am fine. I just need a little rest.” She waved as she started down the path. “I will see everyone at dinner.”
Loki escorted the ladies back to their chambers, reluctantly bid Sigyn farewell, and then made his way to the training grounds.

His little architect
Loki x y/n
Warnings: Slightly Smut at the end
Summary: Y/N is the royal architect for the Odin family but has always liked Loki more than the others. Loki has recently come into power which y/n is excited about. Y/n will do anything to make her new king proud little does she know this new king has a keen eye for her and her…skills. This is set in the first Thor movie but Thor never returns and Odin’s sleep is basically permanent.
Sorry this took forever to get posted things have been crazy. This is part 1 of 2. 2 will be steamy 😜
I wake up with a yawn not ready to start my day. I get dressed in my uniform and look at the schedule…
“Okay, first thing is discuss with the king the new plans for the garden expansion. I really don’t want to talk with this old geezer! He doesn’t have any sense of color or style. *sigh* It’s fine…I will discuss with Queen Frigga before I begin building and ordering the item for the expansion.”
I got my morning routine done but didn’t have time to eat as I took too long doing my hair. I run down the hall and approach the door to the throne room. I take a deep breath and nod at the guard to let the King know of my arrival. I hear him tell the guards to open the door, the voice not from odin. The doors open and I am greeted with the sight of Loki on the throne. I start to make my way to the throne.
‘Shit!’ I think
I had always had a crush on the youngest prince but could never act on it as it was very taboo and would ruin his and my reputations. I get to the base of the throne and kneel to him bowing my head deeply. I wouldn’t kneel to Odin normal unless he requested but Loki… he was a different story. I had mad respect for this God and I was determined to let it show. He smiled and chuckled slightly.
“Normally this would be a different matter amongst the others. Asking them to kneel at least but you-” he stands and approaches you lifting your chin to meet his gaze “are something special. Now my dear my father never got to inform me of all his maids, what are you here for and not in a traditional uniform.” he says looking at you with curiosity in his eyes.
“I am his architect, my king.” I say still knelt down.
“My dear. Stand and speak to me directly. You are not a lowly maid as I had originally thought. No need to be so formal, at least with me.” He says smoothly. I stand up and fix my uniform slightly.
“I am the royal architect, my king. This is my normal uniform for this position but I can get a new uniform tailored to your particular liking, my king.” I say my back straight but dare not to look him in the eye. He hums and looks at me. A grimace on his face he didn’t bother to try and hide.
“My father has no taste. This is very unflatter both in style and color.” he says averting his eyes.
“Ugh tell me about it.” I say and quickly cover my mouth, not even able to stop the sentence before it leaves my mouth. “I-i’m soo sorry, my king.” I say very scared and Loki chuckled darking.
“Oh my dear this is just the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Now please tell me about the project or projects you are doing for my father. In order of most importance to least my dear.” Loki walks back to his chair as I stand at the bottom and begin to go over all of the projects Odin had desired for me to design.
“Okay let us walk to the garden to discuss the expansion and tell you about how a normal day looks for you and my father.” Loki stands and motions for you to follow as you two walk through the halls of the palace to the garden.
“Normally I would begin the day with a brief discussion of the project mostly to go over style coloring and any means he wishes to be included such as, this expansion is a tribute to the Queen. Your father wanted to be a surprise for her birthday but now things might be a little different to accompany your taste. I have some ideas I was planning to go over with him today about the expansion but nothing set in stone quite yet. This would be a normal day getting everything settled on coloring, flowers, and other items before I sketch the expansion as a whole and present it to him along with fabrics if needed.” I try to be as formal as possible as we get to the garden.
“Hmmm…I think we will still keep the expansion as a gift to my mother. She has always loved to be in the gardens. I would like to add a bench to allow her to sit and enjoy the flowers. Maybe we add a tree behind the bench.”
I nod and make brief notes of anything he wishes to change.
“What kind of tree would you like? I will say a willow would look the nicest but the upkeep is very heavy and they tend to be sickly. I could offer a few more or maybe discussion with the Queen about a tree she might enjoy? This is all up to you.” I say trying to ignore my racing heart that I knew he could hear.
“Hmmmm… No, let's not consult my mother. I would like for her to be truly surprised and as for the tree. You have a point with willow. Let's do three birch trees, one directly behind the bench and one of each side. Not directly on the benches side, I would like to add some succulent tables on either side so if she's to read she has a place to set them. Do you have suggestions?” He says looking over the garden.
I nearly choke on my own spit. ‘The prince wants my opinion??’ Odin only asks my opinions if the original plan failed.
Loki chuckles and turns to me “Oooh my dear. I may have BEEN your prince but now -” he walks up to me and lifts my chin and gets very close to me, our lips so close to touching. “ - but I AM your king now. Or have I forgotten that?” he says the last part next to my ear as I shiver. My body is heating up and I'm praying in my head that the blush in my face goes unnoticed. He then laughed quietly next to my ear.
“My dear, have forgotten that I can hear all those…interesting thoughts in your head.” He says kissing my ear lobe.
‘OH FUCK!’ I think panic spreads through my body. Loki sees my panic and gently grabs my hip to ensure I don't run as he gently sits down on the fountain’s edge and softly pulls me into his lap.
“M-my King?’ I say sit in his lap not daring to move off it. I shiver as he strokes my hips looking up and down my body and grimaces at the unflattering uniform Odin made me wear.
“Hmmmmm… I will see you in the tailor's office tomorrow night. To get you a new uniform one that -” He says rubbing his hand up and down my figure “ - better suits you and this perfect body of yours.” I shiver and whine as I see his hand travel down to grip my thigh. “Make sure to have the plans drawn out for me to see. As I will be there to ensure I will like the uniform and ensure that the tailor doesn’t dare abuse what’s mine.” He says one arm snaking around my hips and the other around my throat not hurting me but he holds it ever so gently. I nod as my chest heaves and my head spins. “Now…turn to me.” He says softly. I nod as I’m told, shivering as I’m now straddling his lap. He pulls me close to my body falling forward, my tits pressing to his chest and my hands on his shoulders. I look into his eyes as I see a green flash and I blink and look around.
“Is this your room?” I say as I flipped on my back. Loki’s arms on either side of me.
“You don’t know how long I wish to see you like this underneath me. And now *snap* - “ I jump and the cold air hits my body. My uniform turns to ash “ - bare to me only.” He says admiring the form beneath him. As he sighs contently and grabs my hand intertwined our fingers
“My King! This is not right.” I say struggling but his grip is too much as I look at him feeling self conscious as he smiles and leans to rest his forehead on him.
“I thought you were MY good little architect?” He says kissing my cheek gently as he strokes my hands. I shiver under him.
“I - I want… to be…good.” I say feeling my blush rising. He chuckles and kisses my cheek gently.
“I know you do.” He says kissing my lips deeply groaning into them.

Now that one week has passed, I’ll post what I thought about the ending of Loki’s series in addition to these. Spoilers under read more:
Pros:
Loki regained the magical look - of a God - and I missed it. I complained about his boring uniform
Loki had a nice magic girl transformation and I wish he was barefoot, what are those shoes?!
Tumblr media
And the big ass helmet? A bit too much and Thor’s judging him so hard
At least he's alive and his neck is functioning properly
In marvel you either die or become an eldritch horror
The parallels of Loki saying “for you, for all of us” had me in tears
It mirrored Thor destroying the bridge that meant he wouldn't see Jane again
All the connections to Thor 1♥
Tom and Owen are such great actors
All of Loki’s friends are perfect
Loki 🤝 Thor: taking the full blast of a star thing and surviving to tell
Mobius 🤝 Jane Foster: changing Norse gods for the better
Loki 🤝Thor: sacrificing themselves so that their loved ones and friends could live even if it meant they’d not see them again 🥹
Loki stop crying challenge
God of Stories Loki is a nice title
Tumblr media
Is Loki the older brother now? That means that Thor can be the (more) apeshit one?
Thor would be so proud of him and I’m sure he feels/knows there’s something going on, a shift in the atmosphere
Loki's peace will end as soon as Thor finds his way there with a bunch of kids and screaming goats, after all, Yggdrasil needs some rain to grow strong ⛈️and after a storm, the sun always shines ☀️ Cons:
He’s all alone there in his throne, like Odin after Frigga’s death and he plainly said he didn’t want to be alone ☹
Him changing and improving wasn't enough??
Unless I have confirmation that he can come and go as he pleases and not as an illusion, I’ll think he’s in a glamorous cage, but a cage no less
I’m sure that if he had any other choice, he would have taken that chance. They talk about free will the entire series. This wasn't a free will choice
In my delulu heart Loki will only leave his throne in time to see Kang kill Thor 😈
Loki didn’t get to be a co-parent to Mobi’s kids ☹
They ignored Sylvie completely and deleted their kiss?
She was sidelined when the “two adults/men were talking??” I didn’t like her treatment there
I wanted a brodinson meeting ☹
Is Loki the new TVA boss? If he is, he better pay a salary to his employees who are still like, slaves, or how the Grandmaster likes to say: prisoners with jobs
Thor won't believe that his brother is living in a tree like Tarzan
Loki doesn’t look happy there on his throne and I fear he’ll do the thing where he makes illusions to distract himself and lose himself in it the way Frigga warned in the deleted scene, living in his own world waiting for someone to see through his illusions
I, too, wanted the TVA gone
Can't believe Loki didn't introduce his middle-aged boyfriend to Thor, Thor would've loved Mobi

Loki meta. So much Meta. Part 1.
Loki’s story started with one simple plan: stop Thor’s coronation.
Sure, there would be collateral damage—the Destroyer would kill a handful of Frost Giants. A few lowly guards might die before the Destroyer did its work. But he deemed that acceptable. Because it would give him what he wanted: to prove to his father that the golden child, the favoured one, their heir wasn’t ready to be king. Might never be. And that he, the second son, was more than just the spare. That he was fit for more than standing in his brother’s shadow for the rest of eternity, offering wise council to temper Thor’s arrogant, reckless, dangerous nature. To be bound to a life of constraining, only existing for the sake of the growth of those around him.
Things were never supposed to get so out of hand.  They should never have reached Jötunheimr. He wasn’t supposed to allow Thor to bring Asgard to the brink of war after a thousand years of hard-won peace. He hadn’t intended Thor to be stripped of his rank, title, powers, and abilities and cast out, banished until he could learn humility.
He wasn’t supposed to learn that there was a reason he would never be more than what he was. That his parents had protected him from the truth because they never wanted him to feel different and apart. But it hurt because even when he believed himself to be Frigga’s son, Odin’s son, just as worthy as Thor and born to be a king, he was different. He had always been held different and apart.
He wasn’t supposed to in his explosion of grief and anger send Odin into the Odinsleep—a coma from which he may never wake. He wasn’t supposed to hurt his family. But once he had, he did absolutely everything he could do to keep them from finding out. He couldn’t bear the shame and regret, to be judged for his choices and lose what little standing he had in their eyes.
He had lost his identity, his sense of self. He didn’t truly know who he was, and what he wanted.
When he was handed Gungnir, and his mother looked at him with respect and love and addressed him as ‘my king’ and told him to make his father proud, Loki mistook that golden throne for what he had always truly desired: Love. Acceptance. Respect. Loki believed that the only way to get what he wanted was by amassing power—and doing anything he could to hold onto it.
He wasn’t supposed to sit on the throne of Asgard. But once he was on that throne, he believed it was his chance at last to prove once and for all he was worthy of the name Odinson, and the throne. And as events spiralled out of control, he asked himself who he was willing to sacrifice to keep what he had and get what he wanted. When he decided the answer was Thor, Sif, his friends, and an entire people—he deemed the loss acceptable. That it was just collateral damage. But it would be worth it, because he would finally have what he wanted. What he deserved. What he was owed.
That was why Odin said ‘No’ as Loki hung suspended over the dark void of space. Dangled off the broken bifröst by the tip of his father’s spear. Because you can’t earn love, respect, and acceptance by paying with someone else’s blood. That there is no such idea as an acceptable loss, victory without sacrifice.
That was why Loki let go. Because annihilation is easy. Leaving is easy. Staying is hard. Hope is hard.
Before this story, you could always trust Loki to act in his own best interests. So over the course of the first season—the swagger, the smarm, the pompousness, the superiority, the entire façade is stripped away. Underneath is someone who hurt other people because he had been hurt and didn't know how not to lash out because he was terrified that he was alone and always would be. He saw an entire drawer full of Infinity Stones mixed in with other flotsam, like the handful of paper clips, bobby pins, and scraps of paper you’d find in any junk drawer. He saw his own brutally short future, and experienced the one thing he wasn’t expecting: ego death.
The journey he was on was one of self-discovery, self-acceptance, taking responsibility for his actions, and finding a new purpose.
Loki makes Sylvie his purpose. At first it was merely a scheme—helping the TVA was just a way to stay alive. But while he worked side by side with Mobius, he became invested. Not just in besting his rival and proving he was the superior Loki. He became invested in the actual problem-solving because Mobius treated him like an equal. He wasn’t the sidekick; they were partners. He made a genuine connection with someone, because he wanted Mobius to believe in him. It gave him a reason to strive to become better, to live up to his expectations.
Then he and Sylvie are stranded on Lamentis and she goes from an abstract concept to a real person. At first all he can see if their differences. But then he begins to look at everything from a different perspective, precisely because they’re so different. When they are about to die, they hold hands and smile because for the first time in both their lives, they are not alone.
So her mission becomes his mission. Her goals become his goals. He feels needed, and has no problem taking a place at her side and following her lead. He puts her life ahead of his own, and would have allowed Alioth to devour him if it gave her the chance to bring the TVA down.
He admits that he had betrayed everyone who had ever cared about him. But he will not betray her, because that’s not who he is. He has changed. For the first time, he is acting selflessly, putting Mobius and Sylvie’s needs above his own. Even as Sylvie is shouting at him to fight her the exact same way he had once done to Thor in Heimdall’s observatory, he drops his sword and puts himself in front of her blade to try and stop her because he genuinely cares about her—but he also is finally seeing the big picture and it’s so much bigger than he’d realised. The stakes are so much higher because he has so much more to lose than before.
And neither of them knew that the TemPad He Who Remains had so conveniently removed from his wrist and placed on his desk, within easy reach was programmed to send Loki hundreds if not thousands of years into the TVA’s past. They didn’t know that he hadn’t been using a ‘time twister’ to avoid their blades. He had been timeslipping right in front of their eyes because he wasn’t ‘just’ a man. He had learnt how to control time itself.
And now, so would Loki.

Loki as a Father - my Headcanons
Tumblr media
I can see him wanting only one child because of the way he grew up..... or if he wants more ...he would try the hardest to treat his Children all equally.... so that none of his Kids would feel for a single second unloved and unwanted - like he felt most of his life - he would try soo hard to not make the same Mistakes as Odin and prefer one child over the others but honestly Odin ruined all his Children
During Pregnancy: he would be soo nervous, terrified,has anxiety, would be very careful around you ,soft
After Birth: feels soo proud and happy as he holds the Baby for the first time... His Heart is melting ...
Loves holding the Baby 💟, singing Lullaby's
Few years later: he likes to play, teach his Kid Magic ✨ and Pranks
He would be the cool and Fun Dad but also be strict when needed
is very protective of his Family
From time to time he thinks about Odin and says to himself : do you see that, i am a better father than you
Sometimes he gets sad when he looks at his Kid and thinks about Frigga she would have made such a loving Grandma...she would have loved seeing Loki as a Dad
Thor would make such a cool Uncle ,lots of fun , laughter and cool Stories....Loki would get really annoyed and Jealous 😅

Portal to My Heart (Book 1.5) Chapter Ten
Loki x Reader
Chapter Ten: Upon Arrival
Summary: In Norway, Thor and Loki face their father, and then they and (Y/N) face their sister.
            (Y/N) hung back as Loki and Thor stepped towards their father as he gazed out over the cliffs, sea, and sky stretching out into the horizon. This felt a significant moment, and (Y/N) wasn’t going to ruin the moment by intruding on the family.
            “Father?” said Thor hesitantly, a bit confused at how Odin stared out at the world once more.
            “Look at this place. It’s beautiful,” said Odin.
            “Father, it’s us,” said Thor.
            “My sons,” said Odin.
            Loki’s eyes flicked up to Odin’s face. I…am your son? After everything?
            “I’ve been waiting for you,” said Odin.
            “I know. We’ve come to take you home,” said Thor.
            “Home, yes,” said Odin, nodding vaguely. “Your mother, she calls me. Do you hear it?”
            “Loki, lift your magic,” said Thor sternly. Loki shook his head, quietly showing this was nothing he’d done.
            Odin chuckled. “It took me quite a while to break free from your spell. Frigga would have been proud.” He turned to the fallen log. “Come and sit with me. I don’t have much time.” The three sat down.
            “I know that we failed you,” said Thor. “But we can make this right.”
            “I failed you,” said Odin. “It is upon us. Ragnarok.”
            “No, I’ve stopped Ragnarok. I put an end to Surtur,” said Thor.
            Odin shook his head. “No. It has already begun. She’s coming. My life was all that held her back. But my time has come. I cannot keep her away any longer.
            “Father, who are you talking about?” said Thor.
            “Goddess of Death, Hela,” said Odin. “My firstborn. Your sister.”
            “Your what?” breathed Thor.
            “Her violent appetites grew beyond my control. I couldn’t stop her, so I imprisoned her,” said Odin. “Locked her away. She draws her strength from Asgard, and once she gets there, her powers will be limitless.”
            “Whatever she is, we can stop her together. We can face her together,” said Thor.
            Odin shook his head. “No, we won’t. I’m on a different path now. This you must face alone. I’m proud of you both.” He looked at Thor. “You have become a worthy god and a far better man than I could ever be.” He turned to Loki. “And you are finding peace with another.” He gazed out at the sky. “I love you, my sons.” Loki and Thor’s eyes softened. Odin pointed out. “Look at that. Remember this place. Home.”
            And in the peaceful silence as the wind gathered, Odin’s body turned golden. He glowed, and bit by bit the light flew into the air as the god let go of his life and left to return to the stars and his wife. Thor and Loki stood and watched the light fade into the distance.
            Thunder rumbled overhead as Thor’s anger and grief started.
            “Brother,” said Loki as storm clouds rolled in, dark and billowing.
            “This was your doing,” said Thor, glaring at Loki. Sparks flew around his fists.
            (Y/N) saw the anger building from where she stood and ran forward. “Hey!”
            Loki and Thor’s heads turned to her, bodies tensed and ready for a fight.
            “He wouldn’t have wanted you to try to kill each other after whatever family moment he tried to have with you,” snapped (Y/N). “Do you want the first thing you guys do after he dies to be disappointing him?”
            Thor and Loki paused as the words sunk in. Before they could come to an agreement, however, a green and black swirl appeared out of nowhere.
            Thor and Loki stepped forward, Loki moving in front of (Y/N). Thor slammed Mjolnir on the ground, and it transformed back into a hammer and lightning struck the ground, giving Thor his armor and cape back. Green light flitted around Loki, giving him his green armor back. (Y/N) stood beside them in her jeans.
            From the green and black light, a woman stepped out. She had a black suit on, ripped in places, with green lines running over it. Her hair was wild and fell in a black mess over her face. Smudged eyeshadow surrounded piercing green eyes. The portal disappeared behind her.
            “So he’s gone,” she said, voice commanding. “That’s a shame. I would’ve liked to see that.”
            “You must be Hela,” said Thor. “I’m Thor, son of Odin.”
            “Really? You don’t look like him,” said Hela.
            “Perhaps we can come to an arrangement,” said Loki cautiously.
            Hela smirked. “You sound like him.” She cocked her head at (Y/N). “And you…a Midgardian.”
            “I have no idea who you are, but I already don’t like you,” said (Y/N), straightforward as ever.
            “I am Hela, Goddess of Death, Odin’s firstborn, and heir to throne of Asgard,” said Hela, holding her head high as she looked condescendingly at (Y/N). “So kneel. Before your queen.”
            “Loki can already tell you that I don’t take orders very well. And I don’t kneel,” said (Y/N). She had a smile on her face, but the look in her eyes spelled a different story.
            Hela’s gaze darkened. “Kneel.” A sword appeared in her hands.
            “I don’t think so.” Thor threw Mjolnir at Hela.
            She put out a hand and caught it.
            (Y/N)’s eyes widened. No way!
            “It’s not possible,” breathed Thor.
            “Darling, you have no idea what’s possible,” said Hela with a smirk. She clenched her hand, cracks spread across the hammer, and it exploded into lightning and debris.
            Thor braced against the power, and Loki covered (Y/N) from the explosion. As the smoke cleared, the remnants of Mjolnir fell into a heap on the ground. Hela pushed her hands over her hair, and it collected into a headdress of sharp horns. Both her hands held swords now. She stepped towards them.
            “Bring us back!” shouted Loki to Skurge.
            “No! She’ll bring Ragnarok!” shouted Thor. But it was too late, the Bifrost activated and drew them up into it.
            “Loki!” warned Thor.
            Loki looked down with (Y/N) and saw Hela coming after them as they were transported through the rainbow bridge. Loki’s eyes widened as Hela reached up for (Y/N) and she kicked her away. He grabbed (Y/N) and pulled her to him, throwing a dagger at Hela. She blocked it with her sword and threw her weapon up at them. Loki jerked back, but it clipped them, and they were knocked from the Bifrost.
            (Y/N) screamed as she hit the side of the Bifrost and fell through it, and Loki’s grip tightened on her. She squeezed her eyes shut as they fell through space in a dizziness blur of teleportation.
            “I’ve got you,” swore Loki. “I’ve got you.” It was nearly lost too the blur, but the words came to (Y/N), and her heart skipped a beat.
l
            “(Y/N)?”
            (Y/N) groaned and opened her eyes. She lay under a bright sun and blue sky. Piles of random items, junk and heaps of debris, lay around her. Loki leaned over her, gazing at her with worry(?).
            “(Y/N)? Are you alright?” said Loki.
            She sat up, and Loki guided her up. “I think so. My head isn’t spinning.” She rubbed her temple. “I mean, anything is better than being dead. And I thought we were goners when we fell out of the Bifrost.”
            “We’re definitely alive,” said Loki.
            (Y/N) looked around them. “Yeah, but where?” There was a city in the distance, tall and very futuristic, brightly colored with shiny skyscrapers. “This isn’t Earth or Asgard.”
            “No,” agreed Loki. He stood and offered a hand to (Y/N).
            She took it and got up. “What’s our plan?”
            “I’ve seen ships with strange beings flying around, but they’ve been fighting with each other and…eating each other,” said Loki.
            “Okay, so definitely avoid them no matter what we do,” said (Y/N). “Well, I’m not going to argue with not dying as a plan. Seems like a good start.”
            “We should head for the city and learn how this place is run in order to avoid trouble,” said Loki.
            (Y/N) shielded her eyes from the sun and peered at the city. “Tallest tower always has the ruler in my experience. I think I can get us to it.”
            “You can?” said Loki in surprise.
            “I don’t sit on my ass all day doing nothing unlike some people,” said (Y/N). She scowled. “And I found that training let me get out my annoyance at stupid politicians and nobles.”
            “Well, focus on your annoyance at Hela and being stuck here all you’d like,” said Loki, encouraging whatever it took to have (Y/N) get them out of the junk heap and away from cannibals.
            “Gladly.” (Y/N) raised a hand and flicked her wrist. It took a moment to spin into a human size, but a portal appeared in blue light.
            “You’ve become quite skilled,” said Loki fondly.
            “Thank you,” said (Y/N) with a smile, and she stepped through. Loki followed.
            They stood at the city center before a tall skyscraper that scraped the clouds. People of all different races milled around them, not even humanoid at times. Whatever this place was, it was outside of any precise realm.
            “…What now?” said (Y/N), looking at Loki.
            “Uh…” Loki frowned as he considered. “I’m not sure. We need a reason to get inside.”
            “Let’s not beat around the bush then,” said (Y/N), walking up to the guards at the door.
            “Wait, (Y/N)!” said Loki, running after her.
            “Hey, hi,” said (Y/N) to the guards. “I want to meet whoever’s in charge of business here.”
            Loki slapped a hand over his face. For all the good that (Y/N) had done diplomatically on Asgard, she lost every one of her manners and tact as soon as she was given a chance.
            “…What?” said the guard in confusion.
            The other shoved him. “They want to see the Grandmaster.”
            Anyone calling themselves that has to be crazy. Fantastic. “Yeah,” said (Y/N).
            Loki quickly interjected. “If it’s no problem, of course.”
            The guards exchanged a look. “They’re new.” Apparently that was a big deal.
            “He’ll want to see them,” confirmed the other. “See if they’re…worth something.”
            Uh-oh. (Y/N) exchanged a glance with Loki.
            “Come with me,” said one.
            Loki and (Y/N) didn’t break away, and they followed him in, taking an elevator to the top floor of the building. A party was raging within. People, clearly higher-ups favored by the Grandmaster, milled about, smiling and laughing as techno played in the background.
            The guard guided them through, standing out in their Asgardian and Earth outfits. He brought them to a small clearing where the band was playing. An older man in a gold robe was playing a keyboard-like instrument. He paused when a snake-like humanoid was wheeled up in a chair.
            “Ah, Adderson!” said who (Y/N) figured was the Grandmaster.
            “Sssir,” said the snake person.
            “It took us a bit of time to find you! You rascal,” said Grandmaster with a grin. “What were you up to, trying to free my…uh…” He looked at the burly woman next to him. “My…?”
            “Slaves?” said the woman.
            “I don’t like that word!” whined Grandmaster.
            “…Captives who work for you?” said the woman.
            Grandmaster contemplated. “We’ll workshop it.”
            Alright, he has a slaves, don’t like him, no way, thought (Y/N), already plotting his downfall.
            Grandmaster turned back to Adderson. “Anyways, you tried to free my captives who work for me!”
            “I’m sssso ssssorry,” said Adderson. “It wasss a missstake.”
            “I know. And I know exactly how you can make it up to me,” said Grandmaster.
            “Really?” said Adderson hopefully.
            “Yes! I’m going to free you.” Grandmaster picked up a strange staff with an orange sphere at the top. “From life!” He pressed the staff to the snake person, and Adderson melted into goo as they cried out.
            (Y/N) and Loki’s eyes widened. They officially knew they had landed in a really not great land.
            “Ewwww,” said Grandmaster, hoping out of the way of the sludge. “Can we get someone here to clean this?” He threw the staff to a worker and turned away.
            “Grandmaster,” said the guard stiffly. “We have new arrivals.”
            “Huh? Don’t they usually come in a chair or something?” said Grandmaster in confusion.
            “Uh…they came in through the city,” said the guard.
            Grandmaster sighed. “My scrappers are slacking…” He turned to face Loki and (Y/N) and paused as he looked at them. “Huh.”
            “Should I send for shock disks?” said the burly woman eagerly.
            “…Are you two fighters?” said Grandmaster.
            “No,” said (Y/N), lying.
            “We’re better with words,” said Loki with a polite smile.
            “Well, that’s good, I’d hate for those pretty faces to get messed up in a fight,” said Grandmaster brightly, grinning at them.
            Oh boy/dear… thought (Y/N) and Loki.
            “So, who are you two?” said Grandmaster, leaning forward over his keyboard.
            “I am Loki,” said the god of lies.
            “I’m (Y/N),” said the woman.
            “Hmm,” said Grandmaster, peering at them as if deciding what to do. “How did you come to be here?”
            “Rainbow portal,” said (Y/N) matter-of-factly. “And a history of bad luck.”
            “Family disagreement,” said Loki.
            Grandmaster grinned at their answers and chuckled. He gestured to them while looking at the burly woman. “Funny and good-looking! I like them already. You’re definitely staying with me. Wouldn’t want to miss this entertainment by sending you guys to fight.” He eyed them. “I would hate to lose such attractive faces from my parties.”
            Loki decided he didn’t like Grandmaster’s look at (Y/N) and put a hand around her waist. “We are honored to be your guests, Grandmaster. Aren’t we, my dear?” He looked at (Y/N).
            She stared at him in surprise as she felt the chill of his skin against her hip where her shirt and jeans left her skin exposed. “Uh, yeah.”
            Grandmaster grinned. “Ooh, I love young love.” He winked. “And I love to get involved in it.” He snapped and pointed at the guard. “You there, get them to a nice room, like a honeymoon suite~”
            Oh, no.
            “And you.” He looked at a servant. “Get them some proper clothes. You know the type I like.” Grandmaster looked back at Loki and (Y/N). “You two enjoy yourselves. I have a party tonight, and I expect everyone to have a great time.”
            “I’m sure we will,” said Loki, smiling and holding (Y/N) closer.
            “Welcome to Sakaar, then!” said Grandmaster.
            Welcome indeed…

WROTE MORE NOTES WHILE WATCHING THE MOVIES LOKI IS IN. THIS TIME FOR THOR: RAGNAROK. THESE ONES TEND TO BE LESS SERIOUS WHICH MAKES SENSE SINCE THIS MOVIE ALSO HAPPENS TO BE LESS SERIOUS. IT WAS STILL FIN THOUGH.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I wonder if thor's looking for infinity stones was another of "odin's" (loki's) orders
ragnarok is one of my favorite thor movies though it is less serious than the others. it has a sense of... silly billyness.
heimdall is not there dude. dude got banished. they replaced him with karl urban
skurge has to run alllllllllll the way down the bifrost now
it's a statue of loki, thor. duh.
THE PLAY 😭😭😭 I'll never get over this shit. loki is so fucking funny
"oh shit" YEAH OH SHIT
loki was able to act as odin perfectly before but just loses that here completely like he is barely able to keep his cool
idk if anyone has noticed this. I only noticed after someone pointed it out, but loki doesnt move out of the way. thor pushes him out of the way. loki was just going to stay there and let mjolnir hit him
he looks so good oh my god this movie has some of loki's best looks I just want to Eat him
love that he poked the piece of paper and whispered loki because honestly it's plausible that he'd just turn into a piece of paper
stephen loves dramatics doesn't he?
this scene made me laugh so hard I cried the first time I saw it 😭😭😭 "I have been falling!! FOR THIRTY MINUTES!!"
die odin
the way loki turns and stares at odin after he calls them BOTH his sons
"frigga wouldve been proud" literally kill me it would hurt less. I hate they made odin say things that dont justmake me angry
odin loves dropping crazy jaw dropping earth shattering news and then dipping. he just loves not dealing with his problems and leaving them to someone else
"no. I'm on a different path now. this you must face alone." back to him just making me angry. fuck you old man. just like I said. loves not doing with his own problems THAT HE CREATED.
LOKI'S FACE DOMT DO THIS TO ME. WHEN ODIN SAYS "I LOVE YOU, MY SONS." HIS JAW LITERALLY DROPS HE'S IN SHOCK IN DISBELIEF OF THSOE WORDS SOMEONE HUG HIM AND LOVE HIM FOR ME I CANT TAKE THIS
he fucking oogwayed them that's insane bro it's actually fucking insane 😭😭
HOW WAS IT LOKI'S DOING. HE JUST PUT HIM IN A SENIOR HOME WHERE I BELIEVE HE FUCKING BELONGED AND THAT'S BEING NICE
HELA 💖💖💖💖💖
bye bye loki see you on sakaar
yall don't know how crazy I went when she just fucking massacred the warriors three
trash planet
I FUCKING HATE THAT THEY TOOK DOWN THOR. THE GOD OF THUNDER AND FUCKING LIGHTNING. WITH A FUCKING ELECTRIC (BASICALLY LIGHTNING) ATTACK. IT DOESNT MAKE ANY FUCKING SENSE
I do love loki, but he really did make a mistake calling for the portal to be opened. it seems like a very obviously wrong move and uncharacteristic of loki. idk maybe that's just me. then again he does run so.
jeff goldblum is a treasure to the world
one of his hottest looks. whoever the designer and artists were for this movie have my fucking gratitude for giving me this loki.
how was loki there for weeks and just never saw hulk??
cate blanchett is everything
I domt understand why she's so... loki like. the green and black, the blades, even her magic is green.
i do wish the movie was a little more serious. like loki saying to thor "it hurts doesnt it? being lied to. being told you're one thing and it all being a fiction." it's a very serious matter and it's just swept away and a joke is made immediately after those words are said
"our sister" OUR.
"guess I'll just have to go it alone. like I've always done." AND THOR JUST GIVES A SARCASTIC FAKE SMILE LIKE HE CANT BELIEVE HIM. THOR!!! WHEN I GET MY HANDS ON YOU !!! also you cant blame loki for hela. she would have escaped or been freed at some point.
LOKI'S REACTION TO SEEING HULK 😭😭
you tried thor, but unfortunately you're not natasha. as much as I hate that storyline.
"Yes! That's how it feels!" 😭
makes me even more pissed about the way they shut him down. HE LITERALLY WAS CREATING LIGHTNIG IN HIS BODY AND THEY TAKE HIM DOWN BY ELECTROCUTING HIM!?!?!? DOESNT. MAKE. ANY. SENSE.
also idc thor was winning that fight. only reason he didnt was cuz they did that to thor.
hate to see him go, but love to watch him walk away (loki)
i really do love watching him fight
loki looks so proud and fond like of the snake stabby thor story
THAT'S NOT WHAT HE ALWAYS WANTED. DO WE FORGET HIS WORDS DURING THE FIRST FIGHT BETWEEN THEM WE SEE? "I only ever wanted to be your equal!" actually going to lose it rn. COUNT YOUR FUCKING DAYS THOR. COUNT THEM.
I do think thor is being honest about how he thought the world of loki, but never enough to really look, to truly see his brother. never cared enough to dig deeper. and the mistakes loki made have just made it easier for thor to further ignore the deeper problems with his brother. you can love someone dearly, but still never truly see them. I wonder if knowing of thor's love makes it better or worse for loki. to be so loved, but for it to still not be enough to have been seen, to have been helped at all. or easier for it to be a lie and never loved at all, for it makes more sense to loki, because if you loved him why would you never dig deeper? why could you not see what was wrong? what was being done to him? how he felt? maybe that's why he was so adamant in the past, brushing thor's words away because otherwise that would mean even then it just wasnt enough. and it's more familiar to him too. the feeling he sits in, the knowledge that he's not loved or understood, that those around him think so little of him. and sometimes familiarity is easier than taking a new and brighter path.
he could be more. but it's hard to do that when everyone around you sees the worst in you and your stuck in a shadow your entire life. ignored. it's why I love mobius so much. he sees what others don't in loki and actually pushes him to be better and is there for him. mobius is truly the number one loki apologist.
THE THUD OF BANNER HITTING THE BIFROST 😭😭😭
LOKI IS SO DRAMATIC "Your saviour is here!!"
I'm proud of myself today.
(cw mentions of parental abuse and discussions of trauma)
I've been in this fandom for a long time, almost since I could legally have an account on here. There's a person on here that I used to follow when I was younger. at the time I was being abused by my parents and going through a lot of other shit in my life and Loki was something that comforted and validated me.
I felt a tremendous amount of doubt and insecurity about loving him. I didn't on a basic level know it wasn't morally wrong because he was a villain. I was intensely vulnerable and didn't know I was being abused and was looking for any validation I could find. her blog was, to me then, one of my safe spaces. the scarce few I had. She didn't think it was wrong for people to love him, and she clearly loved him very much herself. She spoke of many of his feelings like they mattered. validated things I had hardly seen elsewhere. She was a good curator of fandom posts too. I would go to her blog sometimes when I needed comfort in my anger and hurt from my abuse, and on at least one occasion feeling like that was a safe space stopped me from self harming. I thought for years that I literally in some ways owed her my life.
she also reblogged misinformation about abuse on multiple occasions. I ate it up and it made me feel more depressed and self destructive. She woobified Frigga to a ridiculous extent and refused to acnowledge any responsibility that she had in the things they shouldn't have done that it made me internalise problematic shit about my own mom (whose relationship with my own father and acting as a sort of peacemaker while also doing her own bad stuff mirrors Odin and Frigga very much) that I am still having to carefully detangle from me like glass shards. I nearly realised I was a survivor years earlier than I did because of how I was relating my own trauma to Loki and beginning to understand it, or at least that it existed, and it was what I saw on her blog, the assertions that what he went through wasn't abuse, the denial of certain areas of abuse, that sent me crying and thinking that I couldn't be one, and that I was wrong for wanting to know that he was a survivor too.
Her knowledge of psychology and the terms she used was clearly stuck in some past decade and she said multiple ableist and nonsensical things re loki's mental health. She said that Loki did what he did in the first movie because of psychosis which. just. absolutely not. She shared things that pathologised Odin instead of criticising him properly and without ableism.
I just. I was so afraid that nobody would ever care about what I went through or listen to me or respect me as someone who loves Loki and had bad luck in finding better people that I clung to her far longer than I should have, or should have had to, and I had a very hard time realising that while I saw her as someone who could be a safe space, she wasn't that, and in a lot of ways hurt me and made things worse for me. She validated his anger and pain while obscuring and lying about some of what hurt him and in turn made me think harder that what was being done to me was okay, because ~they were trying~, as if that should have been enough to protect me from what they were doing (it wasn't).
I know I'm a survivor now. I know Loki is too. I have met and talked with and befriended so many lovely people here. I feel safe in the fandom now in a way I literally never thought I would and I am so happy and greatful for that. (she was not the only problem, nor my only source of trauma within fandom, but she was a gigantic part of it)
She's never interacted with me on here. I have no idea if she even knows I exist. for multiple years I couldn't even bear to look her up to block her because there was a part of my brain screaming that that was too harsh, that I should be greatful to her, that I owed her that.
I blocked her today.
II'm still struggling to know, in the whole of me, that she and her feelings are not my responsibility. I cared about her so desperately for so long and part of me still does. But I do not owe her access to me when even seeing her username makes my entire body tense up, when she, a full grown adult, put me as a child in more danger that I was already in by not being careful not to spread misinfo about abuse and not be dismissive of it, when she gave me emotional wounds I will likely be dealing with long after she dies (she's quite a bit older than me), when I cannot even think of existing in the same space as her without feeling short of breath.
I do not owe her that. and I owe myself the peace and safety of knowing I never have to interact with her again.
Here's to relaxing a little more after today.
Loki always had this little voice in the back of his mind, telling him that he didn’t fit in. It had been silent at first, not above a mere whisper, so he hadn’t given it any attention.
Yet, he knew. He’d always know.
He was different from the other Asgardians.
Asgard was a folk driven by battle and victory; followed by feasts in the taverns paired with extraordinary amounts of mead. But Loki never felt the passion for war as much as they did. He liked the chaos, yes, yet he preferred books, peace and quiet over the loud music and roaring voices of excited Asgardians; men and women, alike.
His signature fighting style consisted of daggers and his magic. He liked being within his enemies’ personal spaces while eliminating them; no different from the others. However, he was the only one in all of Asgard to use magic during battles, as far as he’d known. Which was obvious, given that Mother had taught him when he and Thor were children. It didn’t bother him, in that sense; he was rather proud of his skills, but it made it clearer that there were differences between him and the other Asgardians.
Not to mention the shadow that had been present since his childhood. The huge shade shaped like Thor which he could never escape. His brother always earned the utmost respect and everyone’s approval by doing the barest thing. Even Odin easily approved of him, yet Loki had always had to fight for the same approval. Respect was no question, he was a prince of Asgard, after all. Not respecting him would mean great consequences one way or another.
However, there were specific people who dared to cross that border. No wonder; they were Thor’s friends and being his younger brother meant nothing. Loki felt bitterness.
Thor’s friends would never truly come to like Loki, much less respect him. Fandral had been more or less tolerable, that much Loki could admit, but the other three had never been his favorite people. Perhaps, they could have been, in a different universe, had they not decided to admire Thor and cast Loki further into a void of the shadows. They made it easier for Loki to notice every single difference and everything he lacked that Thor had.
Thor was the golden child, the boy that could do no wrong, the prince that would never forgive wrongdoings to the throne and his people. What Loki did, he could do better and faster. What Odin saw in Thor, he could never see in Loki. Both were led to believe that they’d be great kings, only one was destined for the throne. Loki was not the one. Never had been.
Of course. Odin wouldn’t allow a Frost Giant on the throne of Asgard, after all. Yet another difference for him to add to the list. Thor was the rightful heir to the throne, the biological son, the true prince. Loki was nothing but the peace treaty between two realms that he didn’t belong to. Not the heir to the throne, not a biological son, a false prince of Asgard.
His skin didn’t look right anymore. He wasn’t sure if it ever had, to begin with. His Aesir form was not his true self, his Jotun form had never been his self. He was a soul standing between two shells which it didn’t belong to. His life was made of lies; he was made of lies. He may not have been destined to be a crown prince or king, but he was always destined to be the God of Mischief and Lies.
He hadn’t been given the chance to be something different. From the moment he was born, from the day Odin took him, it was written that he would be the personification of lies.
He didn’t fit in Jotunheim, he was no giant.
He didn’t fit in Asgard, he was no warrior.
He was Loki, the God of Mischief, the Trickster, the Master of Lies and Deception.
He was not Laufey’s son, he had never been given the chance to be.
He was not Odin’s son, he had never been given the opportunity to be.
He was Frigga’s son.
He may not fit in, not in Jotunheim neither in Asgard, but he knew that he’d always have a place by his mother’s side.
And when she was gone, he didn’t have a place again.
Perhaps that was his fate. Death had never been an option and Life had decided to hate him when he was born. Odin was wrong when he said that his birth right had been to die.
If that were the case, he wouldn’t have taken Loki in to ensure his survival; diplomatic reasons or not. In fact, Loki never found out the true reasons behind Odin’s actions back then. He had been blinded by rage to care and Odin had been unavailable to properly explain.
Then, Odin left as well. Partially because Loki had put a spell on him and sent him to Midgard, partially because Odin had lost his strength long ago and it became a matter of time before he would have to go.
Hela appeared and Loki had to team up with Thor once again to defeat her. This time had been different, though. This time, he felt like he belonged. Not to Jotunheim, nor to Asgard, but beside his brother. When had he stopped feeling that way? He couldn’t recall.
Yet, he knew. He knew he’d always belong next to Thor. A lifetime in his shadow, only a deception by his mind. Perhaps because he used to be jealous that Odin had favored Thor over him. They were nothing without each other. Wherever one brother went, the other would follow, eventually.
It had always been that way; how had Loki not noticed earlier?
The only place the one could not follow the other was death. Frankly, Loki didn’t want Thor to follow him to death. It had surprised him that he ended up in Valhalla, in the first place, but he knew he wouldn’t ever want Thor to arrive here. Not yet, at least.
He always had questioned if he would ever belong in Valhalla. He always thought he’d arrive in Hel. But being reunited with Mother, seeing the Warriors Three and the countless Einherjar, Valkyries, and the innocent Asgardians that had been killed by Thanos answered that question.
Loki belonged next to Thor, and by his mother’s side, in Valhalla.
