Corpse Puppet [Part 5]

Another chapter set in the past! With a new character! My OC I love adding my own characters into stories I hope that's alright with @sketchquill

When wally opened his eyes he was dead as dust, his jewels were missing And his heart was bust So he made a vow laying under that tree That he'd wait for his true love To come set him freeWally looked around as he noticed he seemed to be I'm a town which was colorful yet dark at the same time "THIS ISNT A TIME TO BE LAUGHING! I AM STUCK SO HELP ME!" A familiar voice screamed

"HOW DID YOU EVEN GET UP THERE?!" An unfamiliar voice asked"I refuse to answear that" the familiar voice said "Well then cherry we won't be helping you" Wally's eyes widened as he scrambled to his feet and once he got the hang of walking he ran towards the voices

He saw a girl with dark red hair, light pink skin wearing a black and white dress with a spider bowtie on it and they were stuck on some statue

There was also a star wearing a theater outfit that had a sword going right through them, a bird with burnt feathers and missing skin, a dog that didn't seem to have died in any way maybe he possibly just got sick?

"Guys please help me I don't like heights" Cherry cried "Yet you live in a tower" the star chuckled as cherry noticed Wally "Barnaby get me down now" She demanded

Barnaby helped her got off the statue and onto the ground, Cherry stared at wally then the others noticed him "Oh a new arrival!" The star exclaimed 

"Wals?" Cherry asked "Cher?" Wally asked "You- but how- it's to early for you to be here!" Cherry yelled "Oh they knew each other..." the star mumbled "My head was chopped off..." Wally said quietly but loud enough for cherry to hear

"Who did it?! Was it (Y/n)!? I knew they were shady-" "Cherry! It wasn't (Y/n)! It was a girl I fell for..." Wally interrupted her rant"What...You are going to give me details now and I'm going to bring you with me to frank then we'll go to the living world and kill her" Cherry told him

"Cherry! Frank has told you that you can't go upstairs just to kill people!" The bird yelled "I know poppy but this is basically my brother!" Cherry groaned"No buts! Go to your tower!" The bird yelled as cherry went limp onto the floor "F!ck it happened again" Cherry mumbled "I got it!" The star said as she picked up cherry and left

"I apologize about her...she is quite..." the bird trailed off "Violent? She was like that when we were younger every time someone was rude to us she would rip their hair out" Wally chuckled "She is quite a character!" The bird exclaimed

"What's your name? I'm Poppy Partridge" the bird known as poppy said "Wally darling" he told them "Nice to meet ya shrimp I'm Barnaby and the star from earlier was sally" the dog said "It's nice to meet you" Wally muttered

 "Alright got cherry back to frank and he ended up acting like a parent" Sally said as she came back "So who's the new arrival?" She asked "Sally this is wally!" Poppy exclaimed as Wally waved "Hm may I ask how you died?" Sally asked "Sally! That's personal!" Poppy yelled

"What?! I'm curious!" Sally yeleld back"It is fine! I...i got my head chopped off by someone I thought I loved" Wally said "Oh...you poor thing here come with us and we'll get you something to drink" Poppy said as Barnaby and Sally ran off to the bar with poppy and wally following behind.....

This conference was put on for several years by the Popular Woodworking staff, and we’re planning to once again host this conference in 2024, in collaboration with our coworkers at Woodsmith and Fine Woodworking.

do you come up with your worldbuilding or your character designs first?

From my experience, it's mostly been characters. For example,

Murzim (left) is one of the leaders of a small commune-like settlement called Doniben (Freewall), and while I've already had zem as a character for a long time, I never actually developed the community of Doniben or the layout of it before making Murzim's final design.

Even with the entire K'osi nation and ethnicity, I pretty much developed it using Anok's character as a base >:3
