I've been thinking long and hard and outside of ferrari and their innate problem Charles and Lewis as a driver pairing weirdly match? I think some people are panicking abt the 1st driver/ 2nd driver thing and I honestly think they won't have a clear line about it. I also think both of them respect each other enough to handle it properly. Now if ferrari have the skills to manage them is a whole different conversation.

What I mean by them weirdly matching though is that from the grid I feel like they are the only two people with similar interests outside of F1 (maybe par danny ric). Like the fashion, the music are things both of them are very involved with. Makes me think that if maybe since Charles knew abt lewis before signing if both of them have that freedom now in their contracts to pursue their interests.

Also something to point out is that Charles and Lewis' driving styles match more than Charles/Carlos and Lewis/George. So hey maybe this will all work out.

Homo Homini Lupus (Latin, 'man is wolf to man') is a weird one.

My favorite Mission Impossible movie is Ghost Protocol, the one with Jeremy Renner. I like the writing, the team chemistry, and the theme of technology going awry throughout the mission and the team having to think and fight through it. The set pieces are cool. I like Jeremy Renner.

So I want to play with that team. I also had a fever which was why I was watching the MI movies (I did not get far into 2, it is bad even with a fever). So I'm like 'werewolf Ethan Hunt' and also 'what dynamic has this big hero never experienced in these movies? ah, father-daughter relationship.'

So HHL is a Mission Impossible fic (outline) where Ethan Hunt gets turned into a werewolf by mad science and has to take care of werewolf girl test subject while thwarting the usual MI Very Bad Man Doing Very Bad Things with help from the Ghost Protocol team as they travel to a variety of exotic locations.

Undying Flame

This is on my actual plan to write in the nearish future.

It is a Halo fic about the Spirit of Fire and Blue Team set during the timeframe of Infinite. It is the novel I expected to get from Troy Denning or someone based on the fact that the Ferrets are on the SoF now and Blue Team is...off doing something else, no one has hinted what. Blue Team and the Ferrets (ahem, Fred and Veta) go hand and hand. The SoF is essentially cut off from the rest of the UNSC and have been for 30 years. There's so much to do with that. It's a parallel story to Infinite and everything going on in the Milky Way (fodder for seemingly impossible happy character retirement, too).

I have six-ish chapters of this written, but I never posted them because 1) the pacing felt off, too fast, and 2) I was certain we would be getting this novel. But the state of 343i and Halo has gotten to the point where I am not sure we're getting anything more for the franchise than Empty Throne in any medium. So I need to write it, I guess.
