Time Travel Question 73: Assorted Performances XII
These Questions are the result of suggestions from the previous iteration.
Please add new suggestions below if you have them for future consideration.
This is the last of the already prepped Performances polls left. Have more suggestions? Feel free to weigh in.
Unless there is a landslide of suggestions, we'll be going back to the 20th century and earlier soon. I do have some music polls I want to run in February, which will effect the posting schedule.

Obligatory note that media is not beholden to a single genre, and many films/tv/books encapsulate many different genres. The point of these polls is to ask "would you consider this to be under the umbrella of horror, based on your own definition of the genre?". Please elaborate on your opinions in the tags!

thinking about the dichotomy between “freaks” (1932) and “the greatest showman”
greatest showman: “here’s an inspirational film about your differences are what make you beautiful! look how nice this sanitized version of pt barnum is to all the circus freaks!”
freaks: “ableists deserve to be fucking mutilated into abominations against nature and ridiculed for the rest of their miserable, pathetic lives. also hey look it’s johnny eck”

it’s so interesting to watch talkies from like 1927-1932. many actors and directors hadn’t yet adjusted to the new medium, so you can really clearly see the differences in acting, staging, scoring, and even set design in silent vs sound
