Tesla - What You Give 1991. (C) 1991 UMG Recordings, Inc.
I knew that Tesla had dedicated a memorial song to Steve. However, being a careless person, I misremembered it as a different song.
I edited this song because for some reason“What You Give” has become more of an image of Steve for me than“song of emotion”.
Tesla ... sorry.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the 1990 unification of Germany, India Arie, the great P.P. Arnold, Dawayne Bailey, John Perry Barlow, Lindsey Buckingham, Ben Cauley (Bar-Kays), Chubby Checker, Eddie Cochran, Stephen Crane’s 1895 novel THE RED BADGE OF COURAGE, Frank Hannon (Tesla), Lena Headey, Pamela Hensley, James Herriot, Keb’ Mo’, Ju-hyuk Kim, Josh Klingenhoffer, Ronnie Laws, Tommy Lee, G. Love, Alan O’Day, Steve Reich, Madlyn Rhue, Kevin Richardson (Backstreet Boys), John Ross a.k.a. Chief Tsan-Usdi, Simone Segouin, Rev. Al Sharpton, Jake Shears, Ashlee Simpson, Shannyn Sossamon, Gwen Stefani, the 1962 stage premiere of STOP THE WORLD I WANT TO GET OFF, Billy Strings, Steve Tracy, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jack Wagner, George Wein, Thomas Wolfe, Allen Woody, and the great, uber-successful, diverse, and prolific British actor Clive Owen. I wrote this tribute song on a whim one day and recorded it to utmost satisfaction with Bret Alexander and Ron Simasek of The Badlees. Fans of early psychedelia (think Yardbirds), spy movie music, and twangy guitars will dig this one. Meanwhile, God bless Clive and his family. Thank you for the quality cinema you’ve given us.

"FREAKISH FIND - Milford Bradt, R.R. 1. Hannon, is shown in the above picture exhibiting two almost perfectly rounded spheres of granite-like texture which he removed from the first stomach of a cow. Much doubt exists as to whether the objects were swallowed whole or whether they were formed in the stomach." - from the Hamilton Spectator. October 7, 1943. Page 7. ///
"Set of Heavy Lawn Bowls Found in Stomach of Cow," Hamilton Spectator. October 7, 1943. Page 7. ---- Veterinary surgeons of this district have been trying to solve the riddle caused when Milford Bradt, R.R. 1, Hannon, discovered two seven-pound objects resembling granite lawn bowls in the first stomach of a cow. Mr. Bradt butchers carcasses unfit for human consumption but which are suitable food for mink and other fur-bearing animals. Almost perfect spheres, the objects are five inches in diameter.
Mr. Bradt explained that the cow from which the curios were removed belonged to Frank Lee, whose in the stomach and that the lines farm is just east of Stoney Creek. The animal had been ill several days before death occurred. Amazed at the size and heaviness of the stones, he shared the opinion with others that they had been bowls, to which the cow had been attracted by a salty coating. To those who thought it incredible that anything so large could pass through the cow's gullet, Mr. Bradt expressed the opinion that, with a smooth surface and the cow's saliva, they might easily have slipped from the mouth to the stomach.
Many who saw the spheres were the opinion that they might be formations of calcium. Each ball shows, on the greater part of its surface, a network of black streaks. On each are two small areas which are unstreaked. Because of the markings, it was suggested that the two eventually became stationary were imprints from the inner lining of the stomach.
According to Mr. Bradt, one veterinary surgeon supported the sup position that they were actually lawn bowls and were not formations. Other members of the profession would not express opinions
