Okay here are just some random thoughts that at 9:47 pm during a bloody thunderstorm I feel like splurging on. Primarily on whats going on in France right now cause like, we need to talk about it. 

So, to anyone who doesn’t know: The retirement age in France was raised from 62 to 64 without a vote being passed to the public, in response, hundreds of thousands have gone on strike in the streets of Paris and all over the country. The French President even, has been labelled The president of the Rich as his actions are very clearly directed towards helping those with money up their sleeves rather than the majority -creating a corrupt system. 

First things first, France is absolutely crushing it. I applaud everyone who is taking time out of their work and lives to go on strike and make sure that they are being heard.

Secondly, why the fuck aren’t the rest of us doing this?

In England, the rights of protesting and strikes are being increasingly restricted. In Australia, where I am right now, there is an extreme cost of living and housing crisis that is drastically impacting on everyday lives. Hell, my family is barely making is though the bloody week its the same for almost everyone we know! And what are we doing about it? Freaking nothing! There are no uprisings or strikes, rubbish refusals or demonstrations (like in France). Hardly any noticeable effort it being made which is especially crucial with global warming constantly above our heads. 

All I’m saying is that shits pretty fucked right now and we need to figure out how we can actually do something, cause corruption is something they keep telling us in school but don’t actually tell us when we’re living through it.

We're kicking off a new era of travel on multiple fronts with a trip to France in 2023. No more bulky car seats or travel cribs (although we still pack the important stuffed animals), and now we have a third person who can (mostly) carry her own bags.

This trip started off with a pretty early airport drop-off, but we ended up without too much downtime after walking around the airport and getting something to eat—very mundane things we haven’t done in a while.

The flight was very nice, although the timing in the day and duration made it hard to get more than a little sleep.
