If anyone is wondering, I am still here, I promise. My focus has just mostly been on my Greek myth-based muses. Their blogs are all set up now aside from Odysseus and their carrds have everything except the detailed bios [ except Zeus who's carrd I haven't published yet because I am still working on his ]. So while I am absolutely still here and responding to things, responses are faster at the moment for @hadesagesilaos, @poseidonasphaleios, @zeusapemius, @hermesmechaniotes, and @thehomeofmyths, as I've really been digging into my Greek myth reimaginings of late. If anyone wants anything on any of those, I am happy to oblige. I have all kinds of verses in my head for different fandoms, and I'm always happy to add more.

I headcanon Hades was actually very brave during the original war against the Titans, he might've saved his brothers life once or twice and lived to regret it. // anon

Anon, I absolutely agree. 1000%

This is something I haven't really explored on here, but it is true both for Disney here and for Myth Hades on @hadesagesilaos. Hades fought just as hard as the others to defeat Kronos and any other enemy-combatant Titans in the war. I could definitely see him having saved one or both of them at various points in the war. Then, when it was all divided afterwards and he had the Underworld 'bestowed' upon him and when the others treated him with varying levels of derision, disgust, and contempt, Disney Hades got more and more bitter and jaded and twisted until he ends up as he is in the film.

What's more, I think Hades used to look very different as well, more in keeping with his siblings and the other Olympians. I saw a post somewhere in the Hades tags that showed this, but, essentially, the more he changed as a person, the more his outward appearance changed. If they wanted to make him an outcast, then fine. He would play that part.

Let me tell you all, @shadowsarise / @fromgallowsandgraves and I have done some major plotting for a verse, the course of which raises the question of the nature of the various Greek deities/titans/personifications and what would become of them without worship, and it has even further developed my understanding of a few of my babies over on @thehomeofmyths / @hadesagesilaos / @zeusapemius and their stories in their reimagined myths. OH MAN. I am SCREECHING over some of this. I cannot WAIT to be able to get some of these typed. I don't know if these things will be just in the bios or in threads or if they'll be little standalone one-shots as I've done with my Egyptian babies or even full-on stories, but MAN. It's been a minute since I've been this hyped about anything aside from my novels. I know I'm new here in this fandom and everything, but if you aren't following Kathryn, you are missing out. Such a fabulous writer with wonderful muses, and such a joy to plot with and to talk to. I must 10 out of 10 recommend.

Is anyone else having trouble with tumblr? I just finished editing the theme for one of my Greek's sideblogs and now it's suddenly acting like the blog doesn't exist, even though it's still showing in my sidebar?

It's low-hanging fruit, really. The sort of toddler-friendly set up that schlep Zeus would need to launch one of his utterly vapid jokes that would send all of his Olympian cronies into a fit of inane and insensible giggles.

Normally, he would roll his eyes and leave it alone, but then she goes and tells him not to say it and, well.

It's been a long time since he's been good at following orders. And, besides, acknowledging that means he doesn't have to acknowledge the other dig, doesn't it?

"I mean, technically, when the times comes, all mortals do, in fact, end up in, hey, my realm. Who knew, right? But then, bygones would indeed be bygones 'cuz ya really would be, like — Bye! Gone. Instead I continued to work on the carrd for the myth blogs. Still have to write the bios and add the links to the specific blogs, but. xD We're getting somewhere now at least. Once I am awake again tomorrow [later today?], I will see about any replies or asks that I owe.

I've been working on some iconing and blog things for my myth Greeks, but I should be here later if Dreamlight doesn't distract me. 😂
