My company this week : Sonny Angel Therapy

Sonny angels have been my recent obsession. I've been so stressed from AP tests this year. I think that it's because doing well on my AP's is my last test to prove that I studied well in high school. That I tried my best and that I was a good student. After taking my AP statistics mock exam, I released all of my pent up anxiety by going to the stationary store and spending $. The best therapy for me these days is going to the bookstore that's 13 subway stops away from my house and spending money on books and stationary. On Saturday I acquired 4 new sonny angels. Retail therapy is effective, yet a very dangerous way of coping (if you don't have infinite cash exponentially increasing in your bank account), so I have to be cautious. That being said, four sonny angels is pretty expensive. However, it was worth it for my mental health ~

On Saturday I also picked up a wonderful book by Françoise Sagan called Bonjour Tristesse. It is chronically, beautifully, French. Made me want to book a ticket to Paris right away. It made me think a lot about the correlation of parenting and control.

Here are the other two Sonny angels I got!!! I love the cactus one because it reminds me of my childhood home. My mom got the yellow flower one for herself but she didn't really like it so she gave it to me. (I'm probably going to order another one for her)

Also I recently got into Jacques Dutronc thanks to the Les Cactus cover. He has a really chill and fun vibe and fits a long distance walk. Al, if you're reading this, thanks as always lol <3 // he has started to look Jacques a lot lately, the hair, the outfits, the aviator sunglasses, his singing style. Funny that Jacques is married to Françoise Hardy, who Lou would love to be lmao
