How would Vyes be with period comfort? Like I feel like he's the perfect person for that tbh, especially since his data collection obsession probably lends itself well to comfort.
(And I think Monty is the dude that'll send you a picture of the health isle and ask "What size pussy you wear?")
Tw: Afab reader
Absolutely. Yves collected enough information to know what ticks you off and what placates you during your period. Not to mention, since he has special environmentally altering devices around his house, you will find that your period symptoms are non-existent at best, mildly annoying at worst.
You will find it strange that you possess the energy and painlessness to do whatever you see in those sanitary products advertisements on TV. Yves has to remind you to change your pad or tampon regularly, because he is so good at alleviating it to the point you don't notice the ickiness down there. It's as if you don't have it.
He will pay extra attention to your nutrition during this time. Because you are losing blood and your hormones are running amok. Yves knows what each craving means; which mineral or vitamin you're lacking. He would fortify the meal with the required nutrients so that he could stop your desire to eat something unhealthy.
It depends on who you are as a person during menstruation, if you're the type to be clingy and whiny, you would notice a stark increase in his presence. Yves would touch you more, become a lot more chattier but his words are subliminally making you think highly of yourself. He knows that you tend to self hate during this vulnerable time.
If you want to be left alone, he will give you that. But within reason. Yves will be very careful with his words, getting straight to the point yet loving. So he wouldn't need to waste any of your precious patience.
Don't get him wrong, he understands when you're pushing him away because you want attention. There is a distinct difference even though it may be unnoticeable and irrational to the normal person.
Yves would stay with his arms crossed, waiting for you to give in and admit that you're acting standoffish because you thought he was going to leave you. Of course, he would reassure that he wouldn't and that he loves you more than anything in the world. Then, he would give you a light scolding for your behavior.
He isn't doing it to embarrass you. Yves is doing that in hopes of eradicating any thoughts pertaining to Yves being incapable of loving you at your worst.
Yves would do anything for you if you asked nicely, you're going to get told off if you're rude. It's not like you would be mean to him anyways, since he ensures that you're always in a good mood.
However, if you're staying away from him, you are expected to be lethargic and irritable. He doesn't have his intricate system fitted into your current address, but it doesn't mean he can't control the temperature, light, humidity and even pressure of your room.
You're definitely noticing that you're having your period, but your mood always greatly improves if Yves is around. Maybe it's because he does all the chores for you, your way without asking. He seems to know your personal system, nothing he does will ever be "wrong" in your eyes. He cooks your meals the way you like it, Yves puts everything back to its original place.
Maybe you would have to endure some nagging if the placement of your items doesn't make sense (eg. Storing canned food in your bathroom drawer), but otherwise, he is compliant to your standards. It is your home, after all.
You would not have to be embarrassed when he handwashes everything stained with your blood, separate from your other clothes. He enjoys taking care of you and would be visibly upset if you take that joy away from him.
Yves knows your favourite brand of sanitary products. He understands why, you probably liked its texture, its durability, the fragrance or lack thereof, the size and shape. It's important because in the case where the brand was discontinued, he could easily find a replacement that is equally perfect for you.
He has a section in his information vault reserved for your menstruation cycle. It contains all possible records of your symptoms, the factors that may be affecting said symptoms, the length of the cycle, your discharges and microbial compositions, lab results of your blood, even some used pads and tampons. But they're preserved safely and neatly with appropriate labels.
His collection is extensive, Yves even has swabs of the pus from pimples during your period, swabs of your skin, sweat and other somatic samples. Photographs of your face and body, allowing him to discern if there were any differences if you were at that time of the month or not. Recordings of your voice, reports of your breathing, twitching, heart rate, blood composition and toilet habits. Digital copies of your internet activities when you're suffering from different blood flows, studies regarding the menstrual cycle and so on.
Yves knows how you smell before each phase of the cycle. He puts his degree in chemical perfumery to good use, creating fragrances that are an amplified version of your scents so he has something to refer to. Yves would be alarmed when you smell completely different from his reference materials because that usually spells impending illness. And he is never wrong.
The smell doesn't necessarily mean the odor coming from your groin. It's the scent he detects standing six feet or closer to you. Your hair, your sweat, your skin, your breath, etcetera.
All this time, you simply thought he was a very attentive boyfriend or husband. You never wish he would go away while you're suffering with your period. He always knows what to say, how to say it and what to do. If only you knew the full extent of his research...
Montgomery on the other hand, he is panicking every month when you bled through the sheets, thinking that you're in excruciating pain.
It's clear as to why, because the women of his family have severe cramps and would be put out of commission during menstruation. An inherited curse. Coupled with the sight of heavy blood flow, the men in his family understand that it's not a walk in the park to have a uterus.
You're lucky that he's mostly occupied with work, or else he would have forced you to be bed bound. No cooking, no going to work, no going to the toilet without him (you could faint and hit your head!), no walking around and straining yourself in any way.
He doesn't get how not all people react the same way to their periods, sometimes Montgomery would be reduced to tears if he knows you're doing his chores while on your period, babbling about how you shouldn't torture yourself for him. Montgomery's insistence that he takes care of you, would annoy you to hell. Especially if his way of caretaking doesn't align to your idea of comfort.
Montgomery would look like you lost your mind if you asked for period sex. That is like asking to fuck an open wound in his dear spouse: insane, cruel and dangerous. It's one of the few instances where he would say no to sex.
Montgomery wouldn't ask which to get, because he will get one of each. He will bring it back home and will continue to buy the ones you liked. You better remind him which brand and size, because if he forgot, he is going to buy the entire aisle off.
He is susceptible to marketing tactics employed by companies that use periods as an advertisement tool. For example, if he happens to look up from shovelling dirt all day, wiping his brow and sees a gigantic billboard telling him that a notebook is all it takes to soothe period cramps, that will be the first thing he buys for you that day.
Anything to alleviate your period pain, his poor sweetheart must be under so much pain, and it kills Montgomery that he can't take the hurt away.
He may not be helpful at times, but Montgomery means well.

what kind of soap smells do you like?
i tend to picture lavender when i imagine a soap scent i like. but upon further thought... years of lavender as the main soap fragrance in the office has caused me to grow a bit tired of it. the constant handwashing seems to have taken away some of its appeal for me.
nowadays, i prefer citrus scented soaps. they tend to feel very fresh, clean, and bright. this was a fun question. thank you for asking anon.

Why Switching to Liquid Hand Wash Can Improve Your Hygiene Routine
Let’s talk about something that’s part of our everyday life but often overlooked: washing our hands. Whether it’s before eating, after using the restroom, or coming home from outside, keeping our hands clean is essential for maintaining good health. While bar soaps have been a popular choice for years, liquid hand washes are becoming the new standard. If you haven’t already made the switch, here’s why you should consider it – and why Droliachemicalworks’ natural neem-based hand wash could be the best hand wash liquid for your hygiene routine.

The Importance of Hand Hygiene
Did you know that our hands come into contact with millions of germs every day? From door handles to mobile screens, we’re constantly exposed to bacteria and viruses. Without proper hand hygiene, these germs can easily spread and cause illnesses like the flu, stomach infections, and even skin problems. Regular hand washing with an effective product is the simplest and most effective way to protect yourself and your family.
Why Choose Liquid Hand Wash Over Bar Soap?
Bar soaps have been used for generations, but they’re not always the most hygienic option. Here’s why liquid hand wash has the upper hand:
No Shared Germs: Bar soaps can harbor bacteria, especially when shared among multiple people. Liquid hand wash comes in a pump bottle, which ensures a cleaner and safer experience every time.
Gentle on Skin: Many liquid hand washes are formulated with moisturizing ingredients that prevent your hands from drying out, unlike harsh bar soaps.
Convenient and Mess-Free: Liquid hand wash is easy to use and less messy. It’s perfect for both adults and kids, making hand washing a hassle-free habit.
Why Neem-Based Hand Wash is a Game-Changer
Neem has been a trusted ingredient in traditional medicine for centuries. Known for its antibacterial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties, neem is a natural powerhouse when it comes to combating germs and maintaining healthy skin. A neem-based hand wash not only cleans your hands but also provides a protective layer against harmful microorganisms.
Introducing Droliachemicalworks’ Natural Neem-Based Hand Wash
If you’re looking for the best hand wash liquid to upgrade your hygiene routine, look no further than Droliachemicalworks’ natural hand wash. Here’s what makes it stand out:
Neem-Powered Protection: Enriched with the goodness of neem, this hand wash effectively kills 99.9% of germs, keeping your hands safe and clean.
Gentle on Skin: Unlike harsh chemical-based products, Droliachemicalworks’ hand wash is crafted with natural ingredients that leave your hands feeling soft and nourished.
Refreshing Fragrance: The mild, natural scent adds a refreshing touch to your handwashing routine, making it an enjoyable experience.
Eco-Friendly Packaging: The product’s thoughtful packaging reflects a commitment to sustainability.
Tips to Maintain Proper Hand Hygiene
Switching to a high-quality liquid hand wash is just the first step. Here are some tips to make the most out of your handwashing routine:
Wash for at Least 20 Seconds: Make sure you’re scrubbing your hands thoroughly, including between your fingers and under your nails.
Use Clean Water: Always rinse your hands with clean, running water to wash away germs.
Dry Your Hands Properly: Use a clean towel or air dryer to prevent bacteria from thriving on damp skin.
Place Hand Wash Strategically: Keep a bottle of Droliachemicalworks’ neem-based hand wash in high-traffic areas like the kitchen and bathroom.
Conclusion
Your hands play a crucial role in keeping you healthy, and the product you use matters. By switching to a liquid hand wash like Droliachemicalworks’ neem-based formula, you’re not just maintaining hygiene but also taking a step towards a cleaner and healthier lifestyle. Packed with the natural benefits of neem, it’s a choice you won’t regret.
So why wait? Make the switch today and experience the difference with the best hand wash liquid from Droliachemicalworks!

If you find yourself reaching for hand lotion on a loop this time of year, you’re not alone. The best hand creams for dry skin treat a concern that’s hardly rare. “Dry, chapped hands are one of the most common issues that I see in clinic,” affirms Courtney Rubin, board-certified dermatologist and the cofounder of Fig.1.“For these patients, using a deeply moisturizing and occlusive hand cream that seals any breaks in the skin and acts as a protective barrier against moisture loss is critical.”While the best hand creams run the gamut from fancy and perfumed to biotech-infused and all-natural, dermatologists warn that the best products for dry hands will stay within certain parameters. “By focusing on key aspects—ingredients, texture, and fragrance—you can choose the best hand cream for dry skin,” says Divya Shokeen, a board-certified dermatologist and hair-transplant surgeon based in Torrance, California. “Always remember that the best hand creams balance hydration, protection, and sensitivity to fragrance and other irritants.”Vogue’s Favorite Hand Creams for Dry Skin:In This StoryWhich creams achieve this balance? Cosmetic and medical dermatologist Dr. Mina Amin, MD, says that the secret to restoring hydration, repairing the skin barrier, and locking in moisture is all in the ingredients mix—ceramides, emollients (think shea butter and squalane), and humectants (hello, hyaluronic acid and glycerin!). Ahead, nine board-certified dermatologists share their top creams for keeping skin soft and supple against eczema, harsh winter winds, and regular ol’ dishwashing duty.Best for Extra Dry Skin: L’Occitane Dry Skin Hand CreamWhy We Love It: A Vogue editor favorite, this creamy salve contains 20% shea butter sourced from women-run cooperatives in West Africa. The ingredient is a powerful emollient; here, it’s paired with moisturizing sunflower seed and coconut oils for keeping skin smooth and supple. The cream is also infused with beta-glucan, a sugar-derived complex that helps soothe and nourish the skin, while rapeseed phytosterols (or plant-based lipids) help balance and protect it.Key Ingredients: Shea butter, beta-glucan, rapeseed phytosterolsFragrance: YesSize: 1 oz.Best Derm-Favorite: CeraVe Therapeutic Hand CreamWhy We Love It: One of Dr. Rubin’s go-to recommendations is this, “a good option for a protective, hydrating, barrier-supportive, and occlusive hand treatment from a derm-favorite brand,” she says. Dr. Shokeen also recommends the drugstore pick for patients with dry hands as it’s infused with hyaluronic acid and ceramides to “strengthen the skin barrier.” What’s more, the cream has a stamp of approval from the National Eczema Association.Key Ingredients: Niacinamide (for soothing and calming the skin), hyaluronic acid (for hydration), ceramides (to support the skin barrier)Fragrance: NoSize: 3 oz.Best Fragrance-Free: Nécessaire the Hand CreamWhy We Love It: Howard Sobel, a board-certified dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon based in New York, says that Nécessaire’s cream restores elasticity to the skin on the hands while keeping it hydrated and plump. The cream is infused with ceramides for moisture, peptides for volume, and niacinamide to support the skin barrier. To take the hand-care-as-skin-care theme one step further, the brand recommends pairing it with the Hand Retinol, which can be used at night.Key Ingredients: Marula butter and oil, five ceramides, peptides, niacinamideFragrance: NoSize: 2.2 fl oz.Best for Frequent Handwashing: Avène Cicalfate Restorative Hand CreamAvèneCicalfate Restorative Hand CreamWhy We Love It: “This hydrating and nourishing cream helps to replenish moisture and boost the skin barrier,” says Marisa Garshick, a board-certified dermatologist practicing in New York and New Jersey. “Plus, it’s been shown to last through five hand washings.” With an antibacterial copper-zinc complex and sucralfate—a wound-healing agent that supports skin repair—the cream is also infused with Avène’s thermal spring water (which Dr. Garshick explains “has been shown to soften, soothe, and calm the skin”).Key Ingredients: Copper-zinc complex (an antibacterial ingredient), sucralfate (for soothing), Avène thermal spring waterFragrance: NoSize: 3.3 fl oz.Best Overnight Treatment: Soft Services Theraplush Overnight Repair TreatmentSoft ServicesTheraplush Overnight Repair TreatmentWhy We Love It: “Soft Services Theraplush Overnight Repair Treatment uses 0.05% pure retinol in a satiny cream that smells like cake batter and left my hands gleaming through the morning,” Vogue.com editor Chloe Malle once wrote. (Though Malle detected a bakery-like scent, note that the product is technically fragrance-free.) Dr. Sobel adds, “With a combination of retinol and colloidal oatmeal, this helps lighten age spots while deeply hydrating the skin.” Also made with the humectant panthenol, the intensely moisturizing treatment should be used as the last step of a nighttime skin-care regime. As such, it comes with a pottery-like case meant for display on a bedside stand.Key Ingredients: Retinol, colloidal oatmeal, panthenolFragrance: NoSize: 1.7 fl oz.Best Anti-Aging: RéVive Fermitif Hand Renewal CreamRéViveFermitif Hand Renewal CreamWhy We Love It: “Not only does this rose-scented hand cream work to hydrate the skin, but it also helps restore elasticity and firmness, improving the overall appearance of the skin on the hands,” says Dr. Garshick. The firming effects are linked to Révive’s Firming Hand Complex, made with a mix of collagen-and-elastin-stimulating peptides. As a bonus, the cream has SPF 15 for sun protection.Key Ingredients: Bio-firming peptide, Firming Hand Complex (a mix of peptides and tea tree oil), mango seed, jojoba, and shea butters (for moisture)Fragrance: YesSize: 3.4 oz.Best for Irritated Skin: Medik8 H.E.O. BalmWhy We Love It: What’s the meaning behind H.E.O.? It’s simply an acronym for the balm’s ingredients, which work together to attract moisture and lock it into dry skin on the hands and face. “This moisture-boosting cream uses humectants, emollients, and occlusives, leaving the skin on the hand looking healthy and hydrated,” says Dr. Garshick. “Specifically, it harnesses allantoin to soothe the skin, beta-glucan to support the skin barrier, and arnica to calm the skin. It can also be great for post-procedure use or simply if the skin is feeling very dry.”Key Ingredients: Allantoin (to soothe redness), beta-glucan (to support the skin barrier), and arnica (an anti-inflammatory)Fragrance: NoSize: 1 oz.Best Thick Cream: Kiehl’s Ultimate Strength Hand SalveKiehl'sUltimate Strength Hand SalveWhy We Love It: “This thick formulation is a great option for those with dry hands as it incorporates shea butter, avocado oil, and sesame-seed oil,” says Dr. Garshick. “It also helps to protect and repair the skin barrier, providing overall benefits for the skin.” A strong skin barrier protects the skin from irritants and pollution while balancing moisture levels and preventing water loss.Key Ingredients: Shea butter, avocado oil, sesame seed oilFragrance: NoSize: 5.0 fl oz.Best Reparative: Eucerin Advanced Repair CreamWhy We Love It: Enriched with ceramides to support the skin barrier and alpha hydroxy for gentle exfoliation, Eucerin’s reparative cream can be used all over the body. It targets dryness with amino acids, which support hydration by facilitating the flow of moisture throughout the skin. The classic cream has a stamp of approval from Dr. Shokeen: “It’s rich in ceramides and restores moisture effectively.”Key Ingredients: Ceramide-3 (to strengthen the skin’s moisture barrier), amino acids, alpha hydroxy (for exfoliation)Fragrance: NoSize: 8 oz.Best Oatmeal: Aveeno Intense Moisture Skin Relief Hand CreamAveenoIntense Moisture Skin Relief Hand CreamWhy We Love It: With a rich consistency, “this oatmeal-based cream soothes and moisturizes deeply,” Dr. Shokeen says, adding that thick creams often work best for dry skin since the rich texture stays on the skin longer. In addition to oatmeal, the formulation contains glycerin, which “is ideal for drawing moisture into the skin,” Shokeen notes. Petrolatum helps seal it all in.Key Ingredients: Glycerin, petrolatum, prebiotic oatFragrance: NoSize: 3.5 oz.Best for Eczema: La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Hand CreamWhy We Love It: “This non-greasy hand cream has been shown to provide 48-hour hydration and is a great option for those with sensitive skin, as it is fragrance-free and paraben-free,” Dr. Garshick says. “It combines shea butter, glycerin, and niacinamide as well as thermal spring water”—an anti-inflammatory ingredient that tones and boosts hydration.Key Ingredients: Niacinamide (to soothe and restore the skin), shea butter (an emollient), glycerin (a humectant)Fragrance: NoSize: 1.69 fl oz.Best for Nail Care: Sisley Paris Restorative Hand CreamWhy We Love It: The cuticle-softening cream tends to the nails while keeping the hands soft and smooth. Angela Lamb, a board-certified dermatologist based in New York, previously spoke to Vogue about the efficacy of its ingredients. “This formulation contains chestnut extract with antioxidant properties to support intrinsic barrier function,” she said. “It’s also formulated with almond oil and vitamin B5, which can soften cuticles and promote nail strength.”Key Ingredients: Biosaccharide solution and plant-based sugar (to attract and retain moisture), chestnut extract (to support the skin barrier)Fragrance: NoSize: 2 fl oz.Best for On-the-Go: Glossier Hand CreamWhy We Love It: For fans of Glossier’s cult-favorite fragrance, You, its hand cream is a must-have that features the same subtle scent. Housed in a palm-sized pod, it fits effortlessly into any handbag, ready for a quick squeeze whenever you need it. But this hand cream isn’t just a pretty package—it’s packed with powerhouse ingredients like meadowfoam seed oil, which infuses skin with rich fatty acids for deep hydration, and fermented coconut fruit extract to enhance absorption, ensuring your hands stay soft and supple.Key Ingredients: Glycofilm pollustop, meadowfoam seed oil, rosemary leaf oil, fermented coconut fruit extract, rice branFragrance: YesSize: 2 fl oz.Best Antioxidant-Rich: Davines OI Hand BalmWhy We Love It: If you ask Vogue’s beauty commerce writer, Conçetta Ciarlo, to borrow her hand cream, she’ll reach for her tube of Davines. “Not only does this hand balm smell divine, it instantly revives my rough skin and cracked cuticles on even the coldest of winter days. Plus, when anyone shakes my hand, they always ask how my hands are so soft,” says Ciarlo. The star ingredient, roucou oil, is rich in natural antioxidants, offering protection against free radicals, while its fast-absorbing formula leaves hands feeling nourished and smooth.Key Ingredients: Roucou oil, jojoba seed oil, glycerin, olive oilFragrance: YesSize: 2.54 fl oz.Best Honey-Based: Flamingo Estate Manuka Rich CreamWhy We Love It: Packed with nature’s best, Flamingo Estate’s hand cream combines the antibacterial magic of manuka honey with a powerhouse of botanicals to rescue dry hands. Manuka honey works its healing wonders to soothe and repair, while calendula calms irritation. Hemp’s rich fatty acids help to deeply hydrate, leaving dry skin feeling soft and revitalized.Key Ingredients: Manuka honey, shea butter, calendula, lanolin, hempFragrance: YesSize: 2.5 fl oz.What do dermatologists recommend for extremely dry skin on hands?“For those with extremely dry skin, it is best to moisturize frequently, including after handwashing, to help retain moisture and nourish the skin,” Dr. Garshick instructs. “It is best to use a thick cream or ointment as this helps to lock moisture in and provides a protective barrier to minimize external irritation.” For example, Kiehl’s Ultimate Strength Hand Salve is a thick cream she often recommends.“For those with very dry skin, it can help to apply moisturizing cream and then wear cotton gloves to keep the area occluded and seal moisture in,” she adds.
