I just scent-mixed myrrh oil (which smells like an ashtray but more pleasant) with pink sugar by aquolina. I'm gonna call the result either burnt sugar or candy cigarettes and it's lovely. so if you happen to have the ingredients on hand, i recommend the combination 🚬🪵🔥🍭🧁🍬

you can tell it’s perfect because i walked into a church the other day and thought about how it smells an awful lot like my perfume in there. it also came with a little box of frankincense when i bought it and it smells identical :) the tonka bean gives it a sweet edge & combined with the pine it really makes it perfect .. to me, at least. i like relique d’amour as well and since that one and this usually are mentioned in the same breath i thought i’d mention it, but that one wasn’t incense centric enough for me to prioritise buying a full bottle , but it’s on the wishlist

magical misty forest incense, spruce & oakmoss bound with makko powder. it was a joy to make this for my Bloom Again Apothecary winter 2023 launch

oakmoss is a rare old world scent note that harkens to wet moss covered faerie-hewn tracks woven through the forest floor. burning this incense invokes the spirit of the woods with a distinct strong almost masculine presence 🖤

Asked bf to pick up body wash while he was getting his dad groceries.

He remembered the brand, not our preferred scent. I missed his call because I was doing chores, he didn't want to nag by calling multiple times plus he's an adult able to make decisions on his own.

There was a buy one/get one sale on our brand.

I now have six bottles of body wash in six different scents, two of which are my preferred, four I've wanted to try but couldn't track down.

This kind of decadence is unparalleled.

i bought two tiny 1ml perfume samples. i got concrete by comme des garcons, which ive seen described as "like an art classroom" and like walking in a business district or under a mossy overpass, and then tam dao from diptyque, which is described as indian sandalwood, which isnt a scent i really like irl but we'll see how it goes

i've been wearing deathandfloral's art school dropout recently - the site describes it as wet clay, car exhaust, paint water, pencil shavings. it felt fitting, i don't draw anymore and i work in a car factory. when i tried it on at first i didn't like it bc it just felt waxy and sweet. but now after wearing it a few times i really like it - it starts off sweet and chemical and i definitely get the car exhaust note, which then turns more woody and mineral, which i guess is the clay/paint and pencil shavings. inexplicably it does smell strongly like lime after a while

i think i want a good death/graveyard/etc scent but a lot of the death related perfumes i see are WAIT LUSH BROUGHT BACK KERBSIDE VIOLET POST CANCELLED

did not realise how many of my favorite belongings were gold accented up to this point where my room setup has come 2 resemble an illuminated manuscript page (lots of gold shining thru whites and blues, purposeful medieval callbacks)
