Hey y’all, I hope you all are persevering and being awesome human beings💗 I love you and please take care of your mental health!
That being said, here are some Astro observations~
I’ve noticed a lot of Aries placements (particularly in the big 3) could have reddish/orangey hair, or if they choose to change their hair color, it might be this color.
Capricorn placements could like sunglasses? Lmk Capricorn placements if this is true. Heavy Capricorn dominant placements could love accessories that give off an illusion of mystery; sunglasses, hats, bangs, darker colored accessories could be a favorite for these folks.
I have a theory that drug use patterns can be identified through patterns in the chart/ for example, 3H placements (involving an active mind), could favor nicotine. 6H placements may use prescription drugs as this is the house of health routines. 8H could like the “intenser” drugs; hard liquor, coke, mixing substances. 12H placements (the house of ongoing endings and solitude) could love a nice joint. I feel like weed is linked to 12H/Pisceans. 1H- mood enhancing, performance enhancing drugs? Of course, just because you have one placement in a particular house, the placements in the rest of the houses could override.
A lack of earth in the chart could make someone volatile to emotional outbursts, emotional chaos and instability. It’s important for these folks to understand how to stay still in the chaos, and practice grounding techniques. (Saying this as a 50% water chart, my Virgo rising carries😔).
Libra placements could love the idea of things, the floating feeling of having your sh*t together, the airy resolve of illuminating oneself. They might identify heavy with the music they choose to portray, piercings, art.
Leo placements could have a need for validation that needs to be resolved in order to put their full, shining selves and potential forward. At their best, they can illuminate and lighten the hearts of others around them. At their worst, they might find a way to toy around in order to appease their ego.
Aquariuses aren’t mean, they’re just unique and understand the world doesn’t always favor those who are aligned with the unconventional. They have a reputation for being aloof, but being ruled by Uranus and Saturn, they have a fortified drive to revoke the unconventionalities, to shake things up.
Your mars sign could potentially be a solution to depression, low energy and lack of will. Look what house it’s in to see where you shall draw power in. If it’s in the 7H, draw your power from the relationships you have with others. If it’s in the 1H, it comes from your personal endeavors. 4H, coming from building a strong home foundation and community. 10H, the philosophy you share with others.
Sexual repression and Pluto- Pluto is the planet of silent shifting forces, that can sometimes manifest as repression, hidden desire, lack of will and surrendering. Heavy Pluto dominant individuals (if it makes an aspect to personal planets), could make a person feel sexually repressed or ashamed of their sexuality. This planet makes a unique blend to whatever it aspects, the degree and nature of inhibited sexual forces could be described by seeing what planet it impacts.

Hello chicken! First off, love your beautiful blog. Thanks for all the help and advice you offer.
So, I'd consider myself somewhat of a novice witch practicing in the broom closet for several years, but now I finally have my own home that I own!
However, when I was first starting off, I created lots of spell jars. Too many spell jars in fact, since most of them did not end up working anyways.
So, my question is, what are some more effective and perhaps easier-to-clean spell methods you know? And what would you recommend I do with the old failed spell jars?

By easier-to-clean do you mean, easier to disassemble and clean up? As jars are relatively easy to dust!
If you're very sure the old spell jars are no longer ticking, you can just take them apart without pomp or circumstance.
If you'd like to play it safe, you can do something streamlined: speak with intent over each jar that you are opening it to dissipate the magic. Disassemble all the jars and sort things into piles, so that nothing is sitting with its old family, so to speak.
Enchant a single bit of incense or salt water or something unto the purpose of desecrating magic; or to dissolve and nullify any magic therein.
Water and Earth Where you are cast Let no spell or enchantment last Hear my will addressed to thee As my word so mote it be
And of course its cousin for incense, wherein the first two lines are replaced with 'Fire and Air/Where you flare'. At this point, do anything you like with the old remnants, including recycling them to new spells.
If it's the clutter you're aiming to tackle, here is a solution I like:
Instead of making container spells for any tiny little purpose, make larger ones that can cover multiple purposes.
So suppose you made wards for several friends. You might have the Friend Ward Jar, which contains protective virtues and seeks to shield a number of people who would benefit from those virtues.
Then, when that area of life needs special focus - say a friend is in a tight spot - you can perform one-off spells such as a candle spell, empowered prayers, and so forth, using the Friend Ward Jar as a point of focus.
I believe in a sort of concept where the first spell in any area is like an outpost there, that establishes your magical presence and builds a road. So having an ongoing container spell may truly make a difference when you then do the one-off candle spell for special protection, like sending a knight to fortify an outpost that's already established.
Then, as soon as the one-off spell has been completed, you can clean it right up and still leave only the original jar (or whatever) behind.

It’s the day after Donald Trump declared his election victory, and a tech scout for NATO is peering down at a miniature factory, the size of a shoebox, designed to manufacture semiconductors in space.
Chris O’Connor, with his black bomber jacket and military haircut, has spent the past year scouring Europe for companies that will give NATO a technological edge over Russia and China—a job that has become even more urgent in the past 36 hours as the region rushes to prepare for Trump 2.0. Here, in a gray industrial estate on the outskirts of Cardiff in Wales, he believes he’s found one.
Space Forge wants to send satellites equipped with tiny clean rooms into space, where they’ll grow semiconductor crystals before transporting them safely back to Earth.
One Space Forge satellite could eventually create enough semiconductor material to power tens of thousands of phones, estimates chief technology officer Andrew Bacon, speaking in an office overcrowded with freshly-hired staff. Bacon says he is more interested in making chargers for electric cars to fight climate change, and Space Forge’s potential to exorcize all polluting industries from the planet.
But O’Connor is here because Space Forge has piqued the interest of the €1 billion ($1 billion) NATO Innovation Fund (NIF). Manufacturing semiconductors in space, where there is no dirt, air, or gravity, has the potential to provide efficiencies that could create superior versions of military tools such as radar.
“The distance that radar can cover—translating to what it can see and how quickly it can do that—can be dramatically improved by using these materials,” O’Connor says, explaining why Space Forge was among the NIF’s first six investments to be made public.
Alongside Space Forge, the 1-year-old NIF’s investments include battlefield robots, a company manufacturing a lighter version of the carbon fiber used to build cars and rockets, and several space startups.
This is the alliance’s first foray into the high-risk, high-reward world of venture capital, using its members’ money to fund the experiment. Space Forge has never actually made semiconductor material in space. The only time the company attempted to launch its satellites, the Virgin Orbit rocket giving them a ride failed 177 kilometers above Earth before crashing into the ocean. O’Connor, one of three partners at the fund, is sanguine about the fact there is no guarantee the investments will work out. “We’ve been given a mandate to go take this risk,” he says.
Trump’s win has intensified existing concerns over NATO’s reliance on US support, which is expected to falter under the new administration. The president-elect's comments about NATO allies that do not meet their military spending targets of 2 percent GDP (for example, Italy) have been scathing. “If they’re not going to pay, we’re not going to protect,” he threatened on the campaign trail in February.
Meanwhile, Trump’s impatience with war in Ukraine—which he claims he would have “settled prior to taking the White House”—have generated anxiety that he is planning to pressure the country to cede regions to Russia. Last week, Trump ally Bryan Lanza said the new administration would be focused on restoring peace, not lost territory. “Crimea is gone,” he said. Trump’s team later said Lanza did not speak for the president-elect.
In response, many people across government and industry have been calling for the same solution: for Europe to step up. “I don’t think there’s a high likelihood that the US will pull out of NATO,” caveats O’Connor. He doesn’t believe anyone is planning for that. “It seems to be more how Europe is going to step up and play a bigger role.”
The NIF, based in Amsterdam, is one vision of how the region might do that. The fund plans to jumpstart ailing European deeptech innovation in a way that may also benefit its members and their militaries—independent of US support. The US, which already spends more on defense than any other nation, is among eight NATO members that have so far decided not to contribute to the fund.
“They obviously weighed up the pros and cons and just felt that this doesn’t make sense for the US, given their strong heritage in venture capital,” says Rob Murray, the former British army officer who was an early proponent of the NIF in Trump’s first term.
In 2019, Murray watched European states scramble in response to the former president’s NATO critiques—“too expensive” and “obsolete”—and wrestle internally to raise their defense budgets. He sketched out how a NATO bank, a defense-focused version of the World Bank, might work. But, he claims, NATO higher-ups believed the world was not ready. The idea—which continues to attract support—was controversial because it could mean rich countries end up bank-rolling smaller countries’ militaries through collective debt. Then, Murray was disappointed. Now, he appreciates his timing was off. “The geopolitics just just weren’t there for it,” he says.
Yet, the idea refused to totally die. What he describes as a “footnote” in the original pitch, suggesting “venture capital for emerging and disruptive technologies,” would eventually become the NIF in October 2021. Still, in early meetings, ambassadors balked at being asked to back the kind of moonshot companies even ordinary VCs were too risk averse to support. Yet Murray’s team persevered, believing the NIF could lead by example and persuade European investors to be more bold.
Governments became more receptive to that idea after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022. Officials were watching the use of drones in Ukraine and realizing they needed the startup community to keep up. Among them was German military officer turned startup founder Marc Wietfeld, who cofounded ARX Robotics three years ago—another company among the NIF’s early investments. The startup has been building what look like reinforced robot lawnmowers, capable of racing around the battlefield to help with reconnaissance missions or to evacuate casualties.
“We do not weaponize the robots,” Wietfeld stresses, “but theoretically, it would be possible.”
Wietfeld foresees his robots, which are being used by seven NATO members and Ukraine’s Armed Forces, as an answer to two problems. First, Europe needs a way to multiply its waning human forces to prevent being outnumbered. ARX can help because the robots are so autonomous, he claims, a single soldier can control up to 12 at once. Second, he believes the robots could save lives. “I don't want to see my kids fighting as soldiers against Chinese and Russian robots,” Wietfield says.
Catching the attention of the NIF carries the benefits of both cash and connections. The fund acts as a conduit to link European defense ministries and startups—reassuring governments the startups have been vetted and their supply chains aren’t going to become a problem if there is a trade war or conflict with China.
“Armed forces are not really used to working with startups and there’s a trust issue [around] are we really capable of scaling the systems,” Wietfeld says, adding it’s been much easier to contact governments since the NIF investment went public.
One billion euros is not enough to fix Europe, a region whose issues French president Emmanuel Macron diagnosed as a mix of strategic and economic. “We tend to think we should delegate our geopolitics to the United States,” Macron said at a meeting of European leaders in Budapest the day after Trump’s election, “and our technological innovation to American hyperscalers.” For Europe to be in a position to “step up,” the region needs to find answers to both those problems.
In theory, the NIF will become a funding model that’s self-sustaining for NATO innovation priorities, says Michael C. Horowitz, a professor at the University of Pennsylvania who worked on emerging capabilities in the US Department of Defense until earlier this year. He sees what the NIF is trying to do as part of a worldwide trend. “Governments around the world, including in the United States, have understood they need to change the way they’re interacting with the private sector if they want to be able to more effectively both harness and nurture technology development to achieve their national security goals.”
There’s no guarantee the plan will work. But for Europe, in an uncertain world, it’s a start.

More updates on the factory!
First, a weird problem I was having: Attacks from the rear. Allow me to diagram how I expected things to go with my iron outpost.
("Rockup" is the stone brick pick-up station for that stone outpost I mentioned needing to build.)
Here's how it actually went.
Experienced Factorio players can probably guess where this is going, but I didn't see it coming.
It turns out, Problems will just path to whatever machines caused the pollution they're reacting to, instead of attacking whatever miners or pumpjacks they come across. If I'd figured that out before covering the backside of the iron outpost with turrets, I could have just fortified that path Problems would need to take, which would have been a more elegant solution. But I had other problems.
First, power outages. Second, plastic shortages. Third, copper smelting. Fourth, grenades (for military science). What do all of these have in common? Coal.
Part of the problem is, unsurprisingly, power. The power outages came shortly after I expanded power production, ironically enough. And since I did so in a slightly spaghetti-ish manner...might as well share.
Anyways, the coal outpost is simple. Miners, laser turrets, a few gun turrets I slapped down in case biters came before I plugged in the laser turrets, train station. The interesting bit there is that I ran out of rails before I could finish the train.
I had some semi-automated rail production at the old stone mine; I had to feed it steel and iron manually, but it handled the rest while I wandered around doing other stuff. That was fine for a while, but I'll need to automate rails soon for purple science anyway, so I might as well set up a proper solution. Especially since stone and iron products are so far from each other.
I was going to set up a train car to deliver iron and steel to the stone outpost, when I noticed something.
There's iron on-site. And an advantage of using this iron ore instead of shipping in metal is that I can put aside some iron ore and stone to make concrete! Of course, for the actual rails I'll need to smelt a lot of that iron ore into iron (and most of that iron into steel), and concrete needs water, and this is quickly turning into a big project that will bring me even closer to biter territory...
...but before I think of setting up a decent defensive perimeter of some kind, I need to remind myself why I'm doing this. I need to make rails, so that I can connect the coal to the main base, which has barely enough coal to maintain its power supply but not enough for production.
I don't need to set up a big defensive line to protect a multi-product outpost to support large-scale rail production. Right now, what I need is enough rails to fix the coal supply, and feeding a temporary assembler array with all the steel in my inventory and half the iron makes more than enough.
Though feeding it all my steel and not returning to the main base to resupply has consequences. Like not being able to put chests in the coal loading station.
The inserters are doing fine for now, I guess. I can fill in the chests once I've finished the dropoff station.
To the left is the preexisting coal dropoff system, to the right is iron. In the middle is the old copper patch, still supplying the base with more copper than it needs. Certainly more than it could smelt!
With these basic resources, plus oil and bricks (not displayed), the base has everything it needs to produce the first four tiers of science pack. And while I'm sure I could bolt the last three into the spaghetti somewhere, this spaghetti was supposed to be a starter base.
And blue science unlocks most of the basic production stuff. There's still Kovarex enrichment and better modules and weapons and power armor and numerical bonuses and space, but for the core factory-designing stuff? I've got it all.
So I guess I need to start designing a real base.

replying to your anon ask about preemptive strikes: i wouldn't really claim to be an expert but Iran is an interest of mine (aside: ask me what my username means). at this point, the question isn't 'should' but 'could' : "could Israel and/or western powers preemptively strike Iran in such a way as to neutralize any severe retaliatory actions?" and the answer, unfortunately, is probably not. Iran is well fortified with pretty capable air defense systems as well as underground bases, some of which US airstrikes may not be able to penetrate. An Iranian response to an attack would probably include ballistic and cruise missiles as well as suicide drones, all of which Iran has that can reach Israel as well as US installations in the Persian Gulf. There would also be the problem of militia groups in the region like Ansarallah (the Huthis) and other groups in Iraq, Syria, and Lebanon to whom Iran has provided weapons that they are already using to carry out attacks. These groups would ramp up harassment on shipping lanes and military bases in the region. So while it is tempting to say let's just bomb Iran back to the stone age, it probably isn't possible without kicking off widespread open war in the middle east, which would defeat the original purpose of maintaining regional stability. The best course would be to continue excluding Iran from the global economy, and especially preventing purchase of foreign-origin components that they use to build their weapons systems. If you have seen or followed any news from Ukraine about the Iranian drones being used by Russia, you will hear about how many parts they contain that are not made in Iran. Preventing import of these parts is one of the least escalatory ways to deal with the problem.

Of course I've been following the news about the Iranian drones being used by Russia against Ukraine. It's essential to know about it, in order to understand the axes we're seeing forming in front of our eyes in global politics. It's also important, in order to understand the kind of experience the Islamist Iranian regime is getting, they're basically getting to carry out experiments at the expense of Ukraine.
That said, you misunderstand me when I talked about the solution possibly being a combination of political (which includes financial) means and military ones. I think up until a certain point, financial sanctions could have been successful at forcing the Iranian regime to stop its nuclear and rocket programs. But those sanctions were lifted once too many times, and a part of what the new axis that Iran is now a part of (an axis that could be formed thanks to the lifting of those economic sanctions), offers it an alternate financial route, one which the west can't block.
But when I'm talking a military option, I'm not talking about it on its own, I do think a combination is a strong possibility, and I also don't think a military solution is necessarily a full scale invasion or aerial bombardment. If you've been following Iran, I'm sure you know there are other kinds of military operations that can be taken. On their own, they won't be a solution either, but in combination...
