Ford Explorer deliveries fall Ford has decided to stop selling the hybrid-powered 2024 Explorer and Lincoln Aviator, instead focusing on supplying the Police Interceptor Utility Hybrid. "To meet continued high demand for the Ford Police Interceptor Utility Hybrid and other Ford hybrid vehicles, the 2024 Explorer will be offered only with the fuel-efficient 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder engine and the 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6 engine," Green Car said. Ford spokesman Mike Levine reports. Meanwhile, 2024 Lincoln Aviator buyers will now only get the twin-turbocharged V6 engine. Explorer deliveries fell 11.6% in the third quarter.

There have been no comments from Ford yet. A US resident named Alex Whison discovered that his new Ford Super Duty had different headlights from the factory, as reported by The Drive. The car owner spoke about the discovered problem on social networks, noting that other mistakes could have been made at the plant. “What scares me is this: if they could make a mistake in something so simple, then what other problems could this car have? But today it applies to everything you buy,” said Alex Whison. The $80,000 pickup due in 2023 features a lens-shaped projector headlight on the left side, while a more conventional reflector headlight sits on the right side. A similar problem was identified on another Ford F-250 King Ranch pickup truck that was for sale at a dealer in Texas. Alex Whison decided not to ignore this and contacted the dealership, where they had already ordered a second reflector headlight for his car in order to bring its equipment in line with that indicated on the factory markings.
