Howdy Shy! Sorry I haven't messaged in a while, haven't really been reading or on tumblr much. Your Twintails actually kicked me back into reading! Been. Not so great of a year, tbh, I've been having to talk about some heavy stuff in therapy, lol, and dealing with family issues. And, before you get worried, it's getting better. Some of it has been talked out, and other stuff has had apologies all around, I'm just always a sensitive person, believe it or not.
A friend messaged me on discord that they'd talked about me in your comments, lol. Of course I rec your stuff? You're a great author, I love reading the stuff you put out, just. Haven't been reading, unfortunately. And I spent a long time ating them every single single time you posted an update. Somehow tumblr notifs were faster than emails, lmao, was funny as all get out to me.
Sorry for it not being as long or as about your work as would normally happen, Christmas is a bit tiring, especially when your power gets wiped out for a bit, and promptly breaks the wifi.
~Simp
No need to apologize. Not happy to hear that things have been awful for you this year, but I am glad things have been getting easier. You know, you're not the first person that has said this year has been a rough one. Wtf is up with 2024 just being an all-around crappy year for everyone???
Ahh! Oscilly really surprised me when they mentioned your name! It's just good to hear you're still around <3
Simp, you could send me a simple thumbs up emoji and I'd be happy. You don't need to apologize for not writing out a 50 page essay complete with graphical data and reference markers. You are good <3
Ugh, the holidays always wipe me out. Lights going out for Christmas is kind of funny to me.
#Simp Anon#Seriously - its good to see you're still about#To note: I don't hate christmas - I just don't like what my family insists it should be#The holidays have been meh#For 2025 I think I going to get some crystals or something because SOMETHING has to put out some positive energy to banish the ill.#🤔 I think I'll adopt some houseplants...

How Can You Improve Your Health in the New Year? Pick-a-Card Reading
(Tarot & Oracle)
Because we're all about self improvement over here.
Cards
The Tower (Reversed)
Temperance (Reversed)
Knight of Wands
Immediately I got that this pile might want to focus on their mental health. I feel like this pile might really struggle with anxiety but with the tower in reverse I feel like you worry needlessly most times. But you're just so afraid that the one time you relax could be the time that things fall apart. With temperance in reverse and the knight of wands I feel like you try to regulate your emotions and calm down but the moment something seems like it might go wrong you go back into freak out mode.
Oracle Cards
Rose Quartz: Love - Heart Chakra
Malachite: Nature - Heart Chakra
Cinnabar: Business - Sacral Chakra
With the rose quartz crystal coming out I feel like you need to show yourself more love when you face these moments of anxiety instead of trying to make yourself snap out of it. The malachite crystal has to do with the heart chakra and nature in this deck, getting out into nature may help to make you feel more emotionally stable. Cinnabar is associated with business and the sacral chakra in this deck, this makes me think some of the anxiety you may be feeling could be about work. Consider working with these crystals to help balance your heart and sacral chakras. The sacral chakra is actually connected to the emotions and I also consider the heart chakra to be closely associated with emotions. If you decide to use cinnabar please use extreme caution, be careful with malachite as well.
Cards
4 of Cups
6 of Swords
5 of Swords
I feel like this pile's main focus needs to be on physical health. Some of the people in this pile might already be into physical fitness and for those people I feel like you do workouts that you don't really like for the sake of weight loss or just because you think it's a workout you should be doing. But with the 4 of Cups I feel like there are other workouts that you could be doing that you would actually enjoy but you aren't looking into any other form of exercise. I also feel like this pile could really struggle with body image, the coming year (2025) is really the time to try and release that and realize that you don't have to be at war with your body. Your job is not to make your body look a particular way (especially not a way that is impossible to achieve without extreme behaviors) your job is to make sure that you keep your body as healthy as you can.
Oracle Cards
Seraphinite: Honesty - Heart & Third Eye Chakras
Obsidian: Obsidian - Root Chakra
Dioptase: Direction - Heart Chakra
I feel like with the honesty card (seraphinite) you are being called to look at yourself, really look at yourself and see yourself for who you are. Beyond your body, beyond other's perceptions of you, beyond what you've been told you are based on other family members. Really look into your heart and soul and begin living your life from your soul and not based on your physical appearance.
Cards
4 of Pentacles
3 of Cups
The Empress (Reversed)
This pile might want to work on their financial health in the New Year. The first thing I'm hearing is you don't have to be at every brunch or outing your friends have because it's really starting to add up. For a very small group of people that chose this pile, I feel like you might enjoy clubbing often and it's becoming quite expensive. And I feel like everyone in this pile really enjoys going out but instead of going somewhere where you have to spend money look for more inexpensive options. Instead of going for a boozy brunch consider meeting up with your friends at a coffee shop, or going for a picnic in the park, or find affordable or free events in your area that you can go to. But whatever you do, you might really want to consider saving more of your money.
Oracle Cards
Peridot: Teach - Heart Chakra
Carnelian: Self-Confidence - Root & Sacral Chakras
Malachite: Nature - Heart Chakra
With this first card (Peridot) I feel like some of you could be teachers but I mostly feel like by you taking on this new attitude of financial responsibility. That you'll teach those around you how to be more financially responsible too. I feel that you feeling like you have control over your finances will give you a boost of confidence. I feel like malachite will help you to manifest more money but also help you during this time of going from someone that used to be somewhat financially irresponsible to someone that knows how to manage their money well.
I hope this reading resonated with you and please feel free to let me know which pile you chose! And please get professional help to improve your health if you think you need it. 🩷

My Usagi x Mamoru Fanfic Recommendations
This post came from @maythevoidnotscreamback who asked me to take the time to mention some of the Usagi/Mamoru centered fanfics I have enjoyed over the years and give my recommendations.
First I’d like to give an honorable mention: I have recently finished the entire Lunar Chronicles series by the fantastic Marissa Meyer and find her style to be captivating. For those unaware, she got her start as a fanfic author under the name Alicia Blade. I plan on dedicating my time in 2025 to getting through her stories.
Next up: I want to make another mention for unfinished fics. I feel bad getting people addicted to stories which don't have an ending but I can’t help but want to mention them because they are so good.
For the good of a Kingdom by Silent_Figure: I have skimmed this one for the most part but it has a lot of potential. It features a rift between Endymion and Serenity and it seems like the author is trying to get them back together. Until I see it though I’m hesitant.
After All This Time by SunRedDreamer: The newest story on this list and I am hoping the author will be able to finish it. Mamoru awakens after Galaxia took his star seed only to find Crystal Tokyo has come and Usagi has become Queen by herself. It’s highly addictive and I can’t get enough of it.
Sailor Moon X by Starling_Sinclair: One of the best re-writings of the original season. Usagi is an adult when Luna awakens her to being Sailor Moon.
Mine by PeachBunnyBaby: My first exposure to the Alpha/Omega/Beta style of writing and the pining between Mamoru and Usagi is palpable.
At World’s End by Shnuggletea: After being defeated by a monster, Usagi wakes up to find the Dark Kingdom has taken over the world. From there she had to reunite with all her friends and connect with Mamoru at the same time.
Now for the main list. I’m going to try and limit these to one story per author. There are a lot of
Interlude by Sexylyon: The oldest story on the list and shows just how long I’ve been in this fandom. In a period where everything was tentacle stories and poorly written sex scenes, this small novella tugs at the heartstrings.
Desperate and Divine by Antigone: Mamoru and Usagi’s time apart goes much longer than predicted. Unfortunately, Usagi feels like she’s wronged Mamoru in a way that is unforgivable. It’s an element of their relationship I enjoyed someone tackling.
It’s always been you by Beej88: Ever have a fic come to you at exactly the right time? I was just thinking about a story where Usagi’s family adopts Mamoru after his parent’s car accident. From there, its childhood friends grappling with the feelings of love they have for one another.
R is for Reverse by Daikon1: Mamoru has to be the one to fight monsters during the Makai Tree saga. A look at the lengths Mamoru is willing to go through to make Usagi happy.
To have and to hold by Lin_Lamont: Usagi and Mamoru are getting married. Not a lot of drama but a lot of great smut and loving between the pair.
Poisoned Mind by Shnuggletea: A dark Endymion story where his need for Usagi remains despite the brainwashing. It features a lot of great action and even more intimate moments.
How to love a princess by WildRIverInTheSky: Another Season 1 retelling but allows the Senshi to reconnect with their Shitennou lovers. At the same time Mamoru and Usagi are deeply in love.
Shattered Pieces by Max333: Mamoru and Usagi are divorced but circumstances are bringing them back together. Not Rei friendly but the longing Usagi and Mamoru have for each other is palpable.
The heatwave by Rei0ki: A great non-power story. A kiss leads to something more and the sexual tension between Usagi and Mamoru is high. I checked the websites regularly for updates. It was that kind of a story.
Infidelity by Spinneroftales: This one has a special place in my heart. It’s a look at Neo-Queen Serenity and King Endymion’s married life. It (along with my own headcanon of those two enjoying a healthy sex life for their 1000 years of marriage) helped to inspire me to write my royal affairs series. It’s a great story and I highly recommend it.
Check out these stories and happy reading.

I love Tokusatsu (And it's time to make it your problem.)
Ok, This is something I finished writing like a month ago. It's basically a whole essay on what Toku is and some of it's elements. It's a long read, but if anyone ends up reading this I hope you enjoy it!
I am really, REALLY interested in Tokusatsu. (I’m not very subtle about it.) What is Toku? Toku is a genre of media that essentially translates to “special effects”. There are 5 major shows/franchises that fall into this category: Godzilla, Ultraman, Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, and Power Rangers. Now, personally, I’m not really a fan of Godzilla or Ultraman, but I am VERY into the other 3. There are also some other series that I’ll talk about. Now, someone reading this might be asking themselves: “Crystal, what the hell is a Kamen Rider or a Super Sentai? It all just looks like Power Rangers to me.”. That’s what I’m gonna answer here.
Kamen Rider began airing its very first show over 50 years ago, in 1971. The basic premise of any rider series is 1 or multiple people transforming into heroes know as ‘Kamen Riders’ using either a belt, a gun, a wrist mounted changer or a sword, along with various gimmick items (such as the Lockseeds from 2013’s Kamen Rider Gaim, or the Progrise Keys from 2019’s Kamen Rider Zero One) to fight an overarching villain. A typical Rider show lasts around 50 episodes, and ends in around August to September, with a new one almost immediately following it. The 2022-2023 series, ‘Kamen Rider Geats’, came to a close on August 27th, 2023, with the 2023-2024 series, ‘Kamen Rider Gotchard’, beginning on September 3rd, 2023. The 2024-2025 series, ‘Kamen Rider Gavv’, has been trademarked as of writing this. A rider typically has power ups that they get throughout the season, things like Kamen Rider Zero One’s Metal Cluster Hopper, Ex-Aid’s Hyper Muteki Gamer, Geats’ Boost Mark IX, or Gotchard’s Rainbow Gotchard form. Secondary Riders also get upgrade forms, like Tycoon’s Bujin Sword Raise Buckle, or Buffa’s Plosion Rage Raise Buckle. They also get a movie each summer, which typically has a cameo with the upcoming Rider show in it. There’s also sometimes side series’ and specials throughout the year, like Kamen Rider Outsiders, Tycoon meet Shinobi, and the Kamen Rider Legend special.
Super Sentai is a yearly team hero series about 3-5 people transforming into heroes to save the world, sometimes with gimmicks (like Zenkaiger’s Sentai Gears, Donbrother’s Avataro Gears, or most notably, Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger’s Ranger Keys), sometimes without (like KingOhger’s OhgerCalibur or Kiramager’s KirameiChanger). The team also can gain more heroes throughout the show. For base teams of 5, the number of extra heroes typically ranges from 1-2, although we rarely get 7th rangers anymore. For base teams of 3, the number of extra heroes is typically capped at 1-2, upping the team to 5 members. The only exceptions I can think of are Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger, and Engine Sentai Go-Onger. Now, what makes this different from Rider? Well, for one, the suit designs are all standardized, and fit in with each other. But the bigger thing is, well, the giant ass robots each team pilot. The mecha, which I will be calling a Megazord from here on out (because it’s more recognizable), gets other auxiliary mecha (Zords from here on out) throughout the season the main team can use to increase the Megazord’s power. The 6th ranger (or any other extra ranger) typically gets their own separate Zord when they’re introduced. This Zord can also transform into a standalone Megazord, and can later on combine with the core team’s Megazord to create a more powerful Megazord. Towards the end of the season, the 2 or more Megazords combine with the auxiliary Zords to create one final combination, which I’ll be calling an Ultrazord for simplicity. Sometimes the Ultrazords are simpler, other times they’re what the community likes to call Clusterfucks. Some examples of this would be Samurai Ha-Oh, or God KingOhger. An example of the simpler ones would be something like ToraDora Onitaijin Kiwami. The main Red/White ranger (the color can vary, or sometimes even the whole team can use the power up.), and sometimes the 6th ranger also gets a power up midway/toward the end of the season (and even sometimes long after the show has ended, in the case of Gokai Red’s Gokai Galleon Armor). Some examples of this are Gokai Silver’s Gold Mode, The ToQger’s Hyper Resha, Super Zenkaiser and Super Twokaiser, or the Donbrother’s Omikoshi Phoenix. The previous sentai that was on air was OhSama Sentai Kingohger, and currently airing sentai is Bakuage Sentai Boonboomger. In recent years, sentai has deviated a bit from the norm, with Avataro Sentai Donbrothers being pretty much nothing but filler, with not much story tied into it, and 2023’s OhSama Sentai KingOhger not having many filler episodes, and being almost entirely story focused. However, Boonboomger seems to be a bit of a return to form for sentai.
Now, moving onto Power Rangers. This is the one most people reading this should know about. Power Rangers is a yearly team hero series about 3-5 people transforming into heroes to save the world, sometimes with gimmicks, sometimes without. The team also can gain more heroes throughout the show. Sound familiar? That’s because, with some notable exceptions, Power Rangers pulls all of its suits and most of its action and Zord footage from Super Sentai! The show pulls suits and stock footage from a Sentai season of the team’s choice, and adapts it for an American audience. Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (MMPR) aired its first episode on August 28th, 1993. However, the idea existed long before that. Power Rangers was an idea dreamt up by a man named Haim Saban during a trip to Japan in the 80s. He wanted to bring Super Sentai to the states, and put his own spin on it. The first series he tried to bring over was the 1984 series Choudenshi Bioman. It wouldn’t have been called Power Rangers, though. Saban was just going to call the show Bioman. He put together a pilot for the show (which sadly is still lost to this day), but no children’s network programs would pick up the show. He kept trying to pitch Bioman for a while, before eventually he went back to the drawing board. He tried again a few more times, with another series, 1991’s Choujin Sentai Jetman, before settling on 1992’s Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger. He also made a pilot for this show (which was officially called MMPR by this point), and to his surprise, Fox Kids picked the show up. The show began airing in 1993 and blew up almost instantly. Nearly every kid who grew up in the 90s watched at least some form of Power Rangers. MMPR Ran for 3 seasons, all pulling different Zord and monster footage from either Zyuranger, Gosei Sentai Dairanger, or even some brand new Zyuranger footage Saban commissioned Toei to film for him. MMPR was followed by a miniseries called Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers, which was adapted from Ninja Sentai Kakuranger. In 1996, a new season of Power Rangers started: Power Rangers Zeo. The show dropped the Mighty Morphin, switched suits and power sets yearly, and up through In Space it kept a consistent cast, with the occasional switch out. After In Space, however, it swapped cast every year, with new characters each year. That’s how it's been ever since. However, the PR franchise itself has switched hands a number of times. Saban had the franchise from 1993 to 2001, when Disney acquired it as part of a larger buyout. Disney made, frankly, some of the best seasons of the franchise, despite the fact that they hated the brand and did not want it. Seasons like Dino Thunder, RPM, Jungle Fury. Disney continued to make new seasons up until Power Rangers RPM in 2009. In 2011, Saban bought the franchise back, and in 2011 Power Rangers Samurai went on air as the first show in what the fans call the Neo-Saban era (fun fact about samurai, the writers had to scramble to get a new season out after the buy back, so samurai is pretty much just a bad remake of Samurai Sentai Shinkenger). This era housed some of the worst shows in the franchise’s 30 year history. Shows like Super Megaforce and Ninja Steel. In 2018, Hasbro ended up buying the franchise from Saban, with Power Ranger Beast Morphers going on air in 2019 as the 26th season of Power Rangers. In 2021, Power Rangers Dino Fury began, and its cast will be the first since MMPR to stick around 3 whole seasons, as they returned as the main cast of the 30th season, Power Rangers Cosmic Fury, on September 29th, 2023. Cosmic Fury is also the first since MMPR to use just Zord footage from a sentai show (the show will be adapting Megazords from Uchuu Sentai Kyuranger), as the show uses completely original suits. Unfortunately, rumors suggest that Cosmic Fury is the last traditional season of the show, as it seems Hasbro has plans for a reboot of the franchise sometime soon. (post cosmic fury amendment: the franchise is dead. very dead.)
Power Rangers wasn’t the only show Saban made, though. He made a number of other shows using the PR formula. Those shows were Big Bad Beetleborgs (Alongside Beetleborgs Metallix), VR Troopers, and Masked Rider. Beetleborgs and VR Troopers were made using a mix of footage from different shows in the now dormant Metal Heroes franchise, with a mix of American footage, same as PR. Masked Rider followed that same formula, but instead was an adaptation of 1987’s Kamen Rider Black RX. While Masked Rider was a failure, Beetleborgs and VR Troopers actually did really well. The only reason they ended when they did was because the straight up ran out of footage to use. Older fans of Power Rangers probably remember at least Beetleborgs and VR Troopers.
When it comes to other shows in the genre, I’m not the most knowledgeable on them. There’s Godzilla (which most people probably know, it has a big presence outside of Japan, unlike most things talked about here), Ultraman, the aforementioned Metal Heroes, and Spiderman. No, that wasn’t a typo. Spiderman is genuinely a part of this rabbit hole. In the late 70s, a partnership was made between Marvel and Toei that allowed the 2 to use each other's properties. Spiderman (スパイダマン) was a result of this. Aside from some powers and his outfit, the show didn’t resemble our Spiderman at all. His suit was stored in a brace on his wrist, he shot literal fucking guns, and the biggest difference of all was that he had a giant robot. It’s name was Leopardon, and it’s the entire reason that Super Sentai has mecha in the first place. The first 2 shows, Himitsu Sentai Gorenger (not Goranger oh my lord) and J.A.K.Q. Dengekitai didn’t have mecha. It was the success of Leopardon that gave Toei the idea to bring one to the 3rd Sentai, Battle Fever J (fun fact, Battle Fever was also a part of the Marvel x Toei deal! It evolved from a japanese version of Captain America), and they’ve been a major part of the franchise ever since.
There are also some sudo-toku shows out there. Toku itself is limited to live action, but that hasn’t stopped various anime and cartoons from imitating the genre. Some of the ones I can name off the top of my head are Yo-Kai Watch Jam: Y School Heros, which is a clear toku parody, and Fuuto PI, which is an animated sequel to 2009’s ‘Kamen Rider Double’.
But we’re not done yet. It’s time to move into one of the biggest parts of this genre.. The Toylines! Yeah, if you haven’t figured out, these shows, while super cool, double as big toy commercials. Nearly every gadget they use gets a toy in the real world. From the base transformation device, to the gimmick, to the Megazords, it almost always gets a toy. The toy version of the changers and weapons are almost always smaller than the on-screen prop, but they get the job done. Megazords can vary in quality. Up until Donbrothers, Megazords have always been bricks, pretty much, Barely any articulation, and can barely move in the first place. However, starting with Donbrothers, Sentai Megazords have had decent articulation. (Boonboom amendment: Boonboomger Robo took away the articulation. Damn you Bandai.) The gimmick lines are typically released in multiple ways: Candy Toy, Deluxe, and Gashapon. The candy toy release is self explanatory. It comes with a little piece of candy. The deluxe format is the best version of the toy (although sometimes all formats are basically identical), and the Gashapon format can vary. Sometimes it’s really good, other times it’s the gashapon release of Gokaiger’s Ranger Keys. Speaking of Ranger Keys: Ranger Keys! This is probably the best part of any toyline these franchises have made over the decades. It began in 2011 with the release of Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger, and, as the name suggests, were tiny little figures of the previous 34 sentai teams that could turn into keys to be used in the Gokaiger’s changer. These little toys were wildly successful, more than Toei or Bandai could have ever predicted. Now, over 10 years later, minus a few breaks here and there, the line is still going strong. We’re still getting Ranger Key sets through Premium Bandai pretty much every year now. Now, what exactly is Premium Bandai? It’s the bane of every Toku fan’s existence, that’s what it is. Many things go up there, like certain Kamen Rider Drivers, certain Sentai Changers, extra gimmick sets, action figures, unnecessary rereleases (cough PREMIUM DELUXE I AM LOOKING AT YOU.). Sometimes things are reasonably priced, but often the stuff that goes on to Premium Bandai is pretty expensive. Recent drivers like the Vision and Zillion Driver’s, some Villain Changers from Sentai like the Ninjark Sword or OhgerCalibur ZERO have been pretty expensive (for toys that is). Even some main series gimmick items like the Fantasy and Bujin Sword Raise Buckles have been PB items (Personally I think they should’ve just been retail items). There’s also the Memorial line, which is bigger and more show accurate versions of Sentai Changers. They’re expensive, but most of the time I think they’re worth it. If you’re a hardcore collector, it’s not worth buying the Deluxe Changers anymore, since they’re pretty much guaranteed to get a Memorial Edition when the show ends. Also, replica clothes sometimes go up there. Most of the Gokaigers outfits got replicas, so did Zenkaiser’s main jacket, along with the DGP jacket from Geats.
Now, this next part is still toyline related, but I wanted to separate it from the Japanese toylines, because the Power Rangers toyline is a fucking mess. The toys are almost always lower quality. There was a time where Bandai America, the original holder of the toy license, would import the original toy’s from Japan or just use the same molds, but those times are long gone. The toys were pretty decent up until the late Disney and Neo-Saban eras. Over time, Bandai’s Power Rangers toys got worse in both quality and detail. The toys were tiny, they were missing detail, and sometimes they were just pure dogshit, like with the Ninja Stars from Power Rangers Ninja Steel. While Bandai did get some good toy lines under their belt in the Neo Saban era, like the Dino Charge toyline and bits of the Samurai and Megaforce toy lines, Ninja Steel was the last toyline they made before Hasbro bought up the toy license, and then bought the entire brand from Saban. Hasbro had a decently strong start with Beast Morphers, the show still had a lot of the stupid Neo Saban regulations, but it’s not that bad. That's about all I can say for the toyline too, it wasn’t that bad. They came up with an original gimmick, which was cool, but they also made Beans Morphers Gold’s morpher a NERF Gun and never even released some things. For Dino Fury, the show was actually really good in my opinion, and the toy line was a lot better than Beast Morphers’ if you ask me. And Cosmic Fury? As a show, it wasn’t too bad. Not as good as its last 2 seasons, but it also had a crunched episode limit so it gets a pass. However, the toy line does not. We got 3 toys released in this line. A repainted roleplay set, the Cosmic Fury Morpher, and the Cosmic Fury Megazord. That’s it. But toywise, where Hasbro really shined was the Power Ranger’s Lightning Collection. It was a standardized 6 inch figure line that began in 2019, and lasted until 2023. Well, technically it’s on pause until… well, we don’t know. But still. Figures came with Head Sculpts, well chosen (for the most part) accessories, good paint, and absolutely NO QC ISSUES!! ….oh yeah, did i mention it had heavy QC issues during the later years of the line? Yeah, they were awful. It ranged from paint mishaps to literal missing accessories or wrong head sculpts. Sometimes the figures were just built bad, like Time Force Blue, and the packaging shift didn’t help with this at all. In fact, the removal of the plastic window made the QC issues more prevalent because no one could actively see the figure to get around them. Eventually it toned back down, but even then there were still heavy issues, with mold changes and all that. The drop down hips were almost always loose and the pinless figures were always fragile. As of now, the lightning collection is on pause. Why, you may ask? Well, because the entire franchise is on pause. There's no new content outside of the comics releasing. The reboot has moved from Netflix to looking for a new home, Hasbro signed a toy deal with Playmates, there’s the occasional merch drop or acknowledgement of the brand by Hasbro, and that’s really about it. They bought it because the CEO at the time really did care for the brand, but now that he’s no longer the CEO, Hasbro doesn’t really know what to do with Power Rangers. They’re trying to do things, and they have people on the team that care, but the higher ups don’t really care about the brand. And until either the reboot comes to fruition, or the production rights are sold off to someone who actually cares and wants the best for the brand, I think that’s how Power Rangers is gonna stay. It’s in a constant state of limbo, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. So, yeah. A bit of a sad conclusion to such a long running franchise, but it is what it is. In its current state, Power Rangers is essentially dead until someone who cares gets their hands on it. I hope you at least semi-enjoyed reading this stupid essay of mine, and maybe you learned a thing or two from it!

2025 Writing Goals
I admittedly feel a bit silly posting this, since it's been. . . a hot minute since I actually did things on this blog, but, I may as well make the effort! (this is entirely inspired by @corishadowfang doing the same -- if you like my writing, go look at theirs, especially if you're a fan of kingdom hearts).
i'll be putting this under a cut for sake of post length on dashboard, as i am Well Aware that i ramble, and i imagine i'll be rambling a lot. with that said!
i had a lot of goals and ideas for 2024 - i wanted to write a lot. it's something i'd started to notice, but this year i sat down and had to acknowledge that the times of 2019, 2021, 2022 even when i could sit down and churn out 3k words in one sitting, when i could update chapters semi-consistently every few weeks or so, is entirely gone. both because of my lower levels of energy, being chronically ill, and because of college work picking up, and things of that nature.
things have definitely changed a lot over 2024 -- i'd gotten diagnosed with POTS in late 2023, and this year by talking with my doctor, other friends, i've learned that i probably have EDS, which doesn't help with the energy levels. i'm trying to get better at managing my ambition with writing - that's a major goal, is to not start huge AUs or projects without pacing myself or being realistic about how long those things are going to finish.
another goal, most definitely, is to try to rotate my WIPs, and not just focus on only one WIP at a time. i tried that with crystal verse, last year, and it definitely led to some burnout, between all the exhaustion of everything else. being able to poke at different projects and not feel guilt about that is going to be incredibly helpful, i think.
also, i want to get better at actually working on my WIPs -- take some space every day, or at least every week, to at least add something. i used to have a goal to write 10 words, minimum, ever day, and i think i'll try to adopt that again as a 2025 resolution.
as far as WIPs that i've actually got:
Tempests Verse, my beloved, is over three years old, now. i started this thing in September 2021 and it's still ongoing, can you believe it? Storm Whispers, the current WIP, is going to be on hiatus for the forseeable future, until such time as @beastenraged has the energy or time to work on it again; it's written by both of us, after all, and i don't want to pressure them by writing a whole bunch on my end that they'd have to catch up to.
i do still want to work on this 'verse, though - since Dark Road has finished, i can now properly write out what happened with those sets of events, in this AU, and how they diverged from canon. more elaboration on the ghost xehanort, what happened with bragi, what happened with baldr, how Darkness even possessed xehanort's corpse, all of that. it's exciting, even if i don't know how long writing that fic will take or entirely where to begin. i do really love working with the mobile games, so i'm excited to work on this one, whenever i have the time or energy to do so. i reread all of Tempests Verse and took notes, last year, so hopefully i can be most consistent when writing this one, despite my poor memory.
Crushing Stones Verse! will still be poked on, as always. since it's become my warm-up exercises, writing a chapter of this AU's current WIP before moving to other WIPs once i'm warmed up, it's gotten a lot easier to work on this one. i finished outlining it, also, so while it'll take a good hot minute to finish, there is an actual end in sight! i look forward to working on this project and seeing how anyone reading reacts to some of the twists that happen.
Crystal Verse, my ffxiv AU (which has rambles related to it hidden over on @crystal-verse, my ffxiv blog), will get worked on as well. i'm trying to get better and not have there be an entire 7 months between updates like what happened last year; it's very ambitious, given it's a sort of novelization of, well, all of FFXIV, but i do also have an endpoint for this one -- currently, the plan is to write up to the end of Endwalker, and then stop. (that is, 6.0 -- no patch quests, no Dawntrail, nothing, just the end of the Hydaelyn and Zodiark saga.) given how large FFXIV is, this one will take a long while to finish as well, but i do really love it, so it's worth the work.
Miracles Verse will get its rewrite! to those of you who remember the original version -- please don't mention it, and i ask of you to simply read the rewritten versions with open minds. to those of you who've never heard of this au before -- good, the original was my first "got too ambitious and scrapped the project when i failed to execute it the way i wanted", so i'm hoping to do this story justice with the rewrite. this one will also take a long while, most likely, as i'm planning on using multiple digimon canons here, but i'm confident that as long as i rotate my WIPs and outline decently, i'll be in good hands.
Red Scales Verse, a new au of mine, is my first major RWBY au! you have @cheeseandcake-from-ao3 to thank for this AU, as they provided the initial idea, and have rambled with me long enough for me to decide to write this as an entire proper AU. no idea how large this project will be, we'll likely go to post-V9 for this one (and if V10 ever gets greenlit then who knows, we could adapt that one into this AU as well). i've only recently gotten into RWBY, so i'm not sure how well this will be received, but hey, who am i if not someone who writes niche fics that are for me and me only, right? (this AU begins with the premise of: what if ruby rose, and summer rose, were wyrms akin to the story of the king lindwyrm? and then things diverge and stick to canon in different ways from there)
i want to make room for more oneshots, also! i've got a couple that i'm poking at, one for RWBY and one that's for digimon frontier, but i miss just -- writing oneshots. writing a thing and being Done with it, and not having to plan for another chapter or work in the series or whatnot. i miss oneshots and want to do that more. so, that's what i'll try to do this year!
with all of that said -- please look forward to seeing more of the various WIPs, and if you have any questions feel free to ask! it's a bit ambitious this year, but i'm trying to be ambitious in a different way than i was last year, and hopefully will be kinder to myself as far as writing.
good luck to everyone else, in 2025, and may your writing be whatever it is that you desire to get done
#rambles#i'm. . . not sure how to tag this outside of that ahaha#i don't think i'll tag this with the individual 'verse names but maybe for sake of ease of access later on. . .#drabbles#yeah. that works#happy 2025 everyone and cori i hope you don't mind i got inspired by your post ^-^;;

if you are making a vision board for 2025 (and bonus manifestation tips that worked for me)
More under the cut!
1. the materials— let's take this one step further
a big thing that i think really worked for me was having a copper wire wrap around the border (i used a stretched canvas) and gluing on corresponding crystal chips to what i wanted to manifest onto the vision board.
i genuinely feel like it has to do with how metal is a conductor, and copper is known to be a conductor for energy, spiritually, so it acted as something that connected the intent of the board, to the photos i used, to the crystals i glued on, if that makes sense?
i literally wanted to manifest an ipad to have a start at digital art. and wouldn't you know it, my friend got a stylus that wasn't compatible with her ipad, so she had to get a new one, and she sold her old ipad to me. i literally thought manifesting this would be a long shot because, in reality, im poor. no matter what the affirmations for manifesting say, i also have to acknowledge the reality that i'm not in a financially stable place in my life. but im so lucky and grateful that instead of paying full price for an Apple ipad (and you know apple is NOT cheap,) i had a friend that sold her old one to me for a much much lower price.
i thought "oh i'll probably have to spend months saving up"
I bought her ipad in January, the very beginning of 2024.
2. mindset + gratitude— im a lucky girl/guy/enby
i'm not sure how popular this concept is on here since i heard it from tiktok, but it's this thing called "lucky girl syndrome" where it's this affirmation goes
"i'm a lucky girl, everything always works out for me"
and i do believe it works.
and i do believe when it goes hand in hand with gratitude or a gratitude journal, it's much easier to believe the affirmation and therefore be open the good fortune and luck that it brings. because think about it, you have this gratitude journal that's filled with all the blessings and positive things that are already in your life or that you've already manifested, and the more it gets filled, the more you're slowly gonna realize "huh, i have all these good things going for me, i really am lucky." and it just reaffirms the affirmation.
3. reality— let's acknowledge it, let's talk about it, let's work with it
i always thought affirmations could never work for me because the thought of my actual reality would always be in the back of my mind. but then i started using affirmations that met me halfway or gave me something i could work with.
instead of "i'm rich, i'm wealthy" when i actually wasn't, i used "im grateful for the money that's on its way".
it expresses gratitude to the universe , it expresses what i wanna manifest, and it's more of an affirmation that it is coming, not necessarily already here, but it's coming and that what i wanna manifest will be in my life either way.
if "i am wealthy, i am rich" works for you or has worked for you, great. i'm so happy for you, genuinely. but it couldn't for me. and i know the whole "programming your mind and your affirmation" is a thing, but it was something i found difficulty in doing, so this was a great alternative for me.
.. ☆ . +.。 . 。, ☆ ゚. + ☆ * 。゚. o, 。 . + ゚ ☆
i don't think many of the common manifestation methods are a one size fits all. if it works for you, amazing. but sometimes some people gotta customize or find a different method altogether, and that's cool too.
remember, you're working with energy, and some methods aren't compatible with your personal energy, and that's completely fine.

Crude Takes a Breather, Gold Finds its Groove, and Copper Eyes China The Ripple Effect: Digging Beneath the Surface of Today's Market Trends Picture this: you're ready to score a sweet Forex deal—like finally finding that perfect-sized pair of shoes on sale—only to have the market pull the rug out from under you. Crude prices dipped just a bit today, showing a "meh" response to OPEC+'s rollercoaster updates. Imagine it like the market on a caffeine crash—just waiting for a burst of excitement that might come with U.S. jobs numbers. Traders are still glued to their newsfeeds for any geopolitical drama that might breathe some life back into the action. Now, if you've been eyeing the shiny stuff (that's gold, for the uninitiated), you may have noticed it's nudging higher today. Spot gold's hanging out in the USD 2,613-2,645 range, teasing its way just above yesterday's dip, like an old friend that's finally ready to be on good terms again. It's wedged between the 50-day and 100-day moving averages, trying to decide if it wants to make a real run for it or just coast along—the classic "to commit or not to commit" dance. Gold's upward bias feels like it could be a foreshadowing of something a little shinier, but then again, we don't have a crystal ball (at least not a reliable one). Copper: The Smooth Operator Ah, copper—the quiet, steady operator of the commodities market. While everyone's shouting about oil and gold, copper's over here just doing its thing, inching up ahead of the U.S. jobs report. Traders are also keenly watching the upcoming Chinese Central Economic Work Conference. Here's the scoop: if China talks about boosting domestic demand, copper could be the star. It's like copper has its own internal PR agent working overtime. Add in the possibility of China tossing some love towards the property market, and this could be the boost copper's been waiting for—like getting picked first in a dodgeball game for once. Oil Markets: The Tightrope Act Continues Oil's story has been a bit like a Netflix drama with way too many plot twists—OPEC+, production cuts, Morgan Stanley throwing a curveball. Speaking of Morgan Stanley, they've taken a look at their magic 8-ball and nudged their forecast for H2 2025 Brent prices up to USD 70/bbl from the previous USD 66-68. Why? Because OPEC+ decided to tighten production, narrowing the margin between supply and demand. Think of it like trying to keep your favorite restaurant reservation list tight: not too many guests, just enough to keep it exclusive but still happening. Still, MS thinks we’ll see a surplus—just a bit smaller than the one we had in mind. Oh, and by the way, the Czech Republic is back in the game. Oil supplies via Druzbha have resumed today—as per Orlen CEO. It's like your favorite pizza delivery chain going back online after a hiccup. Everyone's pretty pleased, especially those who were anxiously waiting with their fingers crossed. Why It All Matters for You Now, you might be asking, "How does any of this noise help me hit a home run in my trading strategy?" Here's where the hidden gems come in. With Morgan Stanley's revised Brent forecast, we're looking at smaller supply gluts in the near future. What does that mean for you? Watch out for smaller-than-expected dips in oil-related currencies and commodities. The market is telling you something—you just need to know how to listen. Gold's position between key moving averages is also a signal. The savvy trader watches for a breakout—the classic "if it goes up, I buy, if it goes down, I also buy but smarter." And copper? Consider it your early bird signal for any surprise announcements out of China next week. When the rest of the market catches up, you'll already have your stakes down. Bottom Line: Opportunity is Hiding in Plain Sight Remember, every market move tells a story, and the real opportunity lies in reading between the lines. Today’s seemingly lackluster moves in crude, gold, and copper are all subtly whispering clues about tomorrow’s actions. So, let’s grab those nuggets of truth, give them a good polish, and trade smart. Ready to learn more? You are so eloquent and so, so good with words. I feel like I’m reading fragments of a book, which is fun (in a good way). I want to match your energy, but I can’t because I’m terrible at texting to the point that I can’t even form a proper sentence that makes sense. ALL OF THAT to say that you are absolutely right in everything you said. I guess that often when we are mad or frustrated, we say irrational things without considering the consequences of what we are saying.
I like games, but if I have to pay to play certain games, then I’d rather spend my money on something else (unless it’s NFSMW, Pokémon, Mario games, or games for Wii).
Honkai games? Should I google it? I feel like I’m gonna see some titties idk why ahah
Hmm... cars... what? So you don’t want to hear me talk about the new flying car that’s supposed to come out by the end of 2025? :p jk
Why wouldn’t they? Just because you can’t see your own worth doesn’t mean it isn’t there. It doesn’t mean other people think the same. Someday, someone will look at you and think how lucky they are to be with you. You can be in denial about that, but shove your denial up your a$$ because that’s going to happen BECAUSE YOU ARE FUCKING AWESOME
Like i said, it's mostly a consequence of this format, i get access to enough time to properly formulate my thoughts. When i'm actually talking to people in real time i'm a complete stuttering mess (esp if it's in my native language where i gotta cross-translate phrases often to not be too much of a weirdo who can't even speak their native language). And yeah, it's very easy to lash out in frustration at anonymous strangers on the internet and it feels natural, which disappointingly makes it extremely common. Actually so many of our instinctive responses are so toxic which is quite frustrating honestly. Yeah i get that, like i said people engage with stuff on various levels with different priorities. For me gaming is like my primary hobby so i don't hesitate at all to spend money on it. Btw nintendo wasn't really a thing here so i never did get into any of their stuff. Only played pokemon crystal once back in high school on my phone (Cyndaquil is the most adorable starter ever i will fight for him) :3 Also i'm lowkey fake trans cause my fave eeveelution isn't Sylveon, it's Umbreon >_< I'm just hesitant to recommend Honkai games (or Genshin) since while they are f2p, they're also gacha which is just a complete mess and can bait people into spending insane amounts of money. You're safe googling, but there's an absurd amount of fanart for those games and if you search em up here or on twitter you're definitely likely to see some titties ^^ (i'm personally partial to KiaMei, Kafhime and Starch pairings :3) zzzzz... huh wait you were saying sth? :3 Idk, i don't think my stance is entirely baseless, i personally don't see any worth or value to speak of that i could contribute to a relationship really, and in my 30 years of life not a single person has ever expressed attraction towards me so i mean idk how else i'm supposed to interpret that. Not saying that to look for pity or anything, just being honest. As for the 'someday, someone', i acknowledge that anything can happen but i really don't have any actual faith in something like that happening. And tbf partially that's on me too, i can't expect a miracle without putting myself out there, but based on what i just said, you can see why it'd be hard to convince myself to actually do that when it feels completely pointless. And like i said, for friends it's a different story and i do have a few people that enjoy my existence to some degree and i consider us friends (tho honestly even that is a bit of a sore subject), so it's not like i'm *all* doom and gloom ^^

Anthony's Stupid Daily Blog (698): Tue 13th Feb 2024
Tuned into tonight’s Hollyoaks and Ste was begging James to get him some drugs in order to come with his guilt over causing Ella’s death. At one point he said to James “If you love me you’ll get me some crystal meth right now” I’m sure this was the name of a Channel 5 game show. In fact I’m sure they cancelled Neighbours in order to make room for it in their schedules. Later in the episode James met with Ste’s former drug dealer Kane on the pretext of buying some drugs but actually planted Ella’s boot in Kane’s car then tipped off the police so they would arrest him for Ella’s death. I thought that the perfect ending to the episode would be Ste embracing James after finding out that Kane would be going down for the murder and then asking “So did you get my crystal meth then?”. Later on Abe, Cleo’s sort of boyfriend who followed her back to Hollyoaks was trying to console her over her complicated relationship with Joel. At one point Joel left her a present with a note attached saying “The last time I saw you laugh was the time we got cupcakes from that bakery in London”. I mean…did the guy serving them have his cock hanging out of his pants or something because that’s the only way buying cupcakes could ever be funny.
I was delighted to see that the Tories got a massive beating in the by elections which is hopefully a good indicator that they are going to get absolutely fucking battered in the proper election. What I find hilarious is Rishi Sunak continuing to brush off the low popularity of the Tory party by parroting the accusation that Labour don’t have a plan to get the country back on track. If he actually thought this then he would call the election right now safe in the knowledge that the British public would never back a prey with no plan. What I don’t understand is how the Tories haven’t decided to boot Sunak out yet. They gave Johnson the boot after he appointed a serial “groper” to the party and they thought this was the thing that would result in them not getting re-elected. However Sunak has become responsible for them being known as the party that wants to send immigrants to their deaths (and he can’t even do that because no airline will take on the job) and the party that has let the country slip into its second recession in two fucking decades and they think that this is somehow not as bad as what Johnson did? I’m fully aware that Sunak will make excuse after excuse between now and January 2025 as to why he doesn’t want to call an election so that he can put as much anti-Labour propaganda into the media as he can but at this stage I think he’s left it too late and when the day comes I look forward to voting Labour (and locking Mam in the toilet for the whole day so she can’t cancel out my vote by voting for the fucking Tories).

Tournament: Which Veterans Will Be The Most Productive Over The Next Five Years?
Welcome of the second of what now will be monthly tournaments/polls, with your votes in the first poll anointing Andrei Vasilevskiy, Connor Hellebuyck, Frederik Andersen, Carter Hart, and Carey Price as the five goalies who’ll have the most wins in the next five seasons, starting in 2019-20. Sticking with the crystal ball theme of five years from now, the question this week is which skaters who are currently 30+ years old will, in five years, still be as good (or at least in the same echelon) as they are now.
As you’ll see when you arrive at the poll (a link to which is provided at the bottom of the column) I’ve given you the option of choosing as many of the 18 players as you want, so go ahead and cast your vote for any and all you think will be at least as good/productive (or in roughly the same ballpark) as they are now by the time March 2024 rolls around. There’s also a “none of the above” option if you truly think not a single one of these skaters will be able to stay productive enough. One last note – if a player is doing atypically worse or better this season, then you should base your vote on what would be his more normal output in view of recent seasons.
Before getting to the player choices (which are listed in alphabetical order along with their age, contract status, and scoring pace for 2018-19 through March 17th), I figure it makes sense to share some “food for thought” data to perhaps influence how you might vote. So here’s a table with scoring for age 35+ skaters since 2000-01.

Nicklas Backstrom (age = 31; signed through 2019-20 for a $6.7M/year; scoring pace = 77 points)
After his worst season in 2017-18 since his rookie campaign saw him tally “only” 71 points, Backstrom is seemingly back to his norm of just under a point per game production despite the presence and further development of Evgeni Kuznetsov. In fact, whereas some are wondering if Backstrom could continue to produce this well if Washington opts not to re-sign him, perhaps that might ultimately be the best thing for Backstrom given Kuznetsov’s looming presence?
Patrice Bergeron (age = 33; signed through 2021-22 for a $6.875M/year; scoring pace = 98 points)
Although he’ll be 38 in five years and, assuming he stays healthy, a veteran of more than 1500 total NHL games by then, Bergeron seems poised to defy father time and continue producing, especially if he and Brad Marchand (more on him below) are able to continue to play together and maintain their magical chemistry further into their 30s.
Brent Burns (age = 34; signed through 2024-25 for an $8M/year; scoring pace = 84 points)
Yes, Burns will be 39 in March 2024; and were he not signed through 2025, he might not have made the cut to be included among voting choices. That’s because elite older d-men are about as rare as they come, as shown by the table above; and although it’s unlikely that Burns can maintain his current pace at age 39, he could defy the odds and be very productive even with more grey in that long beard of his.
Dustin Byfuglien (age = 33; signed through 2020-21 for a $7.6M/year; scoring pace = 66 points)
Big Buff, who turns 34 in a week, will miss 13+ games this season for the third time in the last five campaigns. In fact, he’s played barely 925 games in his career to date; so although with his big frame those are tougher games to log, he might have it in him not only to play until he’s 38 but to remain a top defenseman scoring option in fantasy all the while.
Sidney Crosby (age = 31; signed through 2024-25 for an $8.7M/year; scoring pace = 107 points)
The calendar keeps turning, and Crosby keeps producing. With this his sixth straight season not missing a chunk of time, and his skill and hockey sense both as sharp as ever, on paper he’s seemingly as good a bet as any to continue to be able to produce at or near his current levels into his mid-30s.
Evgeni Dadonov (age = 30; signed through 2019-20 for a $4M per year/year; scoring pace = 66 points)
One of two on the list who spent most of their careers in the KHL, Dadonov has acclimated to the NHL game quite well and looks well equipped to produce into his mid-30s. The big question is whether he’ll stick around or instead pull a Pavel Datsyuk and go back overseas to finish his career.
Claude Giroux (age = 31; signed through 2021-22 for an $8.275M/year; scoring pace = 86 points)
Although well below his torrid scoring pace from last season, Giroux has shown more than enough for poolies to look past his other seasons of declining production prior to 2017-18. Giroux likely will aim to continue building a Hall of Fame resume, and what better way to help out that cause than to tack on another five seasons of elite production?
Patrick Kane (age = 30; signed through 2022-23 for a $10.5M/year; scoring pace = 116 points)
With how amazingly Kane is playing this season, it’s easy to forget he had only 165 points in 164 games over the prior two seasons. It seems, however, that Kane plays his best when the Hawks count on him to step up. If only we knew how much the team would need him in five years….
Phil Kessel (age = 31; signed through 2021-22 for an $8M/year; scoring pace = 82 points)
He might not be the poster boy for fitness, but Kessel is clearly a smart player and quietly has morphed his game over the past two seasons to be less of a sniper and more of a playmaker, especially on the PP, where his skills could easily be maintained for five more seasons.
Anze Kopitar (age = 31; signed through 2023-24 for a $10M/year; scoring pace = 58 points)
Is the real Kopitar what we witnessed last season, or what we’re seeing now? Probably something right in the middle. The big question is whether Kopitar will opt to play beyond 2023-24, as his name is on the Stanley Cup twice and if he plays well enough between now and then he should already have a Hall of Fame resume.
Kris Letang (age = 31; signed through 2021-22 for a $7.25M/year; scoring pace = 72 points)
While his many injuries might cause his body to break down before age 36, they just as easily could have the effect of giving him fresher legs than most his age, allowing him to keep playing and producing even once he’s that old.
Evgeni Malkin (age = 32; signed through 2021-22 for a $9.5M/year; scoring pace = 88)
Given his unique combination of size and elite skill, Malkin could very well be productive even one he’s 37. The issue is whether – like Letang – all the time he’s missed due to injury will give him a boost due to having fresher legs, or instead cause him to be less productive due to wear and tear. I’m quite curious what your votes will have to say.
Brad Marchand (age = 30; signed through 2024-25 for a $6.125M/year; scoring pace = 100)
Not only does Marchand seem to be only getting better with age, but he’s actually signed to play for five more seasons; and as crazy as it might seem, he could be trying to build a Hall of Fame resume over that time, so his effort level might still remain at or near where it is now.
Alex Ovechkin (age = 33; signed through 2020-21 for a $9.538M/year; scoring pace = 93 points)
Already in most peoples’ minds the best pure goal scorer of the 21st century, fast forward to five years from now and Ovi could be putting himself into the conversation to be among the best of all time, which might be more than enough motivation for him not only to keep playing until 38 but also to still possess much of the same greatness he has now, ala what Teemu Selanne did.
Alexander Radulov (age = 32; signed through 2021-22 for a $6.25M/year; scoring pace = 78 points)
Like Dadonov, it’s not clear if Radulov will stay in the NHL once his current contract runs out or perhaps return to the KHL. But with his talent and hockey sense, he could easily be a productive player at age 37.
Ryan Suter (age 34; signed through 2024-25 for a $7.538M/year; scoring pace = 50 points)
Like Burns, Suter might not have made the cut were it not for the fact that he’s signed through six years from now. Plus, it’s not like he’s a 60 point d-man now, so him being able to substantially maintain his current level of production isn’t farfetched.
Blake Wheeler (age = 32; signed through 2018-19 for a $5.6M/year; scoring pace = 100 points)
First poolies questioned whether he was for real. He showed he was. Now their concern has shifted to whether he can continue to play at this elite of a level as he gets deeper into his 30s. Those who’ve bet against Wheeler thus far have lost, so does it make sense to do so here?
Keith Yandle (age = 32; signed through 2022-23 for a $6.35M/year; scoring pace = 63 points)
One of the most unsung producers in fantasy, Yandle has stayed quite productive as he aged and even on some lousy teams, tallying the fifth-most points among all NHL d-men since 2013-14. His production doesn’t rely heavily on either speed or on power, so seeing him remain quite good even five years from now at age 37 is within reason.
********
There you have the 18 voting choices. And here’s the link for you to cast your votes to have your voices heard. As you’ll see in the poll and as noted above, there will be a 19th choice for “none of the above” if you think none of these 18 players will be as productive (or at least substantially as productive) in five years as he is now.
Mailbag Questions Needed
Next week is my monthly mailbag column, and there’s still time to send me a question for inclusion. You can do so either by emailing the question to [email protected] with “Roos Mailbag” as the subject line or instead you can send me a private message on the DobberHockey Forums – my username is “rizzeedizzee”. Just be sure to include as much information and details about your league as possible, as that way I can not only give you an informed response but also make the answer most relevant to other readers. See you next week!
