Okay, so here's the thing.

I'm stuck at a point where I've written a few things that I'm really proud of and I really love. But I can't get myself to actually post them.

There's a lot, done and waiting to be posted, but I keep them sitting there in my drafts as if they're unfinished, telling myself that I'm not done.

But in reality I think there's this overwhelming fear that my writing won't get accepted and loved the way that I love my stories, and I'm stuck thinking what I should do.

Do I post it and let my heart sink at the realization that my writing just isn't as good as I want it to be, as I think it is? Or keep that sitting in my drafts, pushing off the imminent judgement and saving myself little heartbreaks?

I don't think it helps that I've now ventured into a genre that's such a drastic difference from my works that have done really well (aka smut). So there's the fear that the only reason people like my work is because it falls into that category. I hate the feeling that every time I write something, I need to add in a bit of smut to get people to click on my work.

If my new works don't do well, idk, it's just like this idea that none of my work was ever actually doing well. That it just happened to fall under a popular genre and that's why there was so much attention.

So. I don't know.

I think I'm not sure what will happen. So, to anyone that actually enjoyed my work, I'm sorry that I can't share what I love with you.

Who knows, maybe I'll start a new account and start from scratch.
