On a constant lookout for snacks that are free from refined sugar. I found some brown riceflakes and date molases in my pantry ; so I decided to whip up this goody immediately. Presenting to you this brown rice flake snack/treat. _______________ 1 cup Brown #riceflakes and 1/2 cup desicated #coconut toasted in 2 tbsp ghee on a skillet and mixed with 3 tbsp #datemolases with a hint of cardamom powder. The mixture is spread on parchment paper and left to cool. Food is memories that encompasses the people or the person you ate with, and the heart pouring conversations you had.And when you come across the same food after several years ,you recall the person/people who you ate with and suddenly you feel as if the food is beckoning those fond memories to you and unexpectedly that feeling of nostalgia seeps in.❤️ ____________ I remember having this dynamite shrimp all throughout my university life and more specifically with small group of friends. Yes it’s delicious, but what I recall are those memories.Alright enough said I think I rambled enough already 😆. _______ I just whipped up this dynamite shrimp 🍤 inspired from a recipe online. 🍤 12 shrimp coated with 3 tbsp arrowroot flour (I substituted corn flour with arrowroot flour) along with salt pepper and one egg🥚. Bake the shrimp (You can either fry or bake).Once the shrimp is done, coat it generously with a concoction of ( 3 tbsp mayonnaise, garlic chilly sauce (no added sugar), 1 tsp honey 🍯) . Presenting my bad photography skills 😆; but I loved the food and the ambience 😌 at this cafe called "Desert Rose" in the @nmoqatar premises. . I assume the name of the cafe is derived from the main concept of the museum's architectural design by French architect Jean Nouvel who was inspired to design the museum by the shape of the desert rose, a flower-like formation that occurs in the Gulf region. . My friends and I were lucky enough to get inside the museum before it became crowded and also we reached Qatar the next day the museum opened for the public. All In all, we were the lucky ones 😆. .
