FIBC Bulk Bags: What They Are and Their Uses

Flexible intermediate bulk holders, or FIBCs ( also known as big bags or super sacks), are large bags that can hold up to a ton, or in some cases indeed up to,1000 pounds, of dry goods. They're used for transporting “ flowable ” accoutrements like maquillages, grains, plastic bullets, beach, toxin, cement mixes, minerals, or spices.

FIBCs come in several types of designs, including four- panel,U-shaped, or cocoon designs. Filling ( or evacuating) is through an open top, spout, or duffel- style opening. These bags generally have handles on the corners through which the prickles of a for lift can be fitted for lifting.

A tired sigh escaped your lips as you placed your pencil down. You just finished your essay in your English class. Huffing slightly, you got up and grabbed your paper, walking up to the teachers desk and gently laying them down. “Here you go. I finished,” you whispered as the others worked. You were the first person done. As always. Well, actually, that’s not true, sometimes Dogma finished first, but it was mostly you. The teacher, Obi Wan, skimmed over your paper, before clicking his tongue, a small laugh escaping him. “I asked for an essay, Name, not an entire story,” he scolded playfully, making you laugh a little under your breath, shrugging your shoulders humbly.

“It’s not that much, Mr. Kenobi,” you responded, grinning at him, before heading back to your seat, but before you could step away, Obi Wan called you back, whispering as if it were a secret. “Name,” he called out softly, making you turn around with a raised brow, taking a few steps back to his desk with a quizzical look. “Yeah?” You replied. The English teacher leaned forward slightly, eyeing someone in the back, before looking at you again. “You’re a great writer, and are excelling in this class,” he stated, making you smile at him bashfully, before he continued. “But there are some, who… well, just don’t get it, we’ll say,” he muttered, sighing. “So, if you could do a favor for me, may you tutor Wrecker for me, please?” He asked, making you blink in surprise, turning around to look at the bulking jock who looked as if he were constipated while tapping his pencil on his paper. Obi Wan grinned, rather pleased by your answer. “Thank you, you’re doing both me and him a big favor.” He said, laughing as he sent you back.

So I was wondering if you’d wanna meet up with me after school to work on it? We can go to my cafe, it’ll be closed, but I can make you a drink and give you a snack and we can work,” you offered, grinning at him. Cat Food Prep Part 4 - Finally done!

Clarification: We do not raw feed, nor do we endorse raw feeding. This is a fully cooked, nutritionally balanced pet diet that's safe for consumption when prepared correctly.

Alright - after some interruptions, finally ready to post the finale! This is probably the most important part; adding the supplements and oils to make this nutritionally complete. Normally I'd look upon proprietary products like Balance.it's blends with a lot of skepticism. But all that's essentially in this powder is pre-measured amounts of pharmacy-grade vitamins as well as inulin - a type of prebiotic fiber found in vegetables. We could buy things separately and measure it all ourselves, but I'm not taking that risk.

A little less than 3 packets of their carnivore blend (for lower-carb, higher-fiber diets) gives us enough for the recipe - and because this is our more accurate scale, we also measured our salt and fish oil this way.

The Omega-3 isn't just a dietary supplement here; it helps ensure Canela's fat intake is nutritionally complete. And with our Canola Oil and Iodized Salt measured as well, it's time to mix!

We've already added our oils and made sure everything is well incorporated - so compared to how it was before, it's now softer and more pate-like. But this is a VERY big bowl of food, so I'm sprinkling a thin layer of Carnivore Blend and Iodized Salt over the top, mixing very thoroughly between each addition.

And by the time we put it into our molds (these are 1oz silicone molds, intended for baby food) it looks very much like canned cat food. Each one of these is the equivalent of about half a small can.

And in the immortal words of beloved UK children's show Blue Peter, here's one I made earlier. These trays are frozen until solid, then it's just a case of popping out the frozen portions and keeping them in a ziplock bag. Defrost in the microwave for a minute and a half, and it's back to its original color and texture. So that's our pork and sweet potato cat food! This forms the bulk of Canela's diet - and she'll be getting regular checkups from the vet to manage her overactive thyroid, so we'll be able to make sure she's doing okay long-term. There's far too much association between home-made and raw online, to the point we've even been harassed for it on here, so I hope these posts might encourage other pet owners to explore safe, cooked options for their animals. i am on like, not semi hiatus but def. semi slow down for a bit and here's why. under the cut is a lot of boring work garbage, feel free to ignore lol

ok SO here's the thing

i think i mentioned it before but like a month or two ago my company fired five people, four of which were like directly in my operations group. we are a bulk liquid e.xport team that specializes in fle.xi bags being loaded like... well, with bulk liquids lmao. its not super hard but it is TEDIOUS as fuck what i have to do on a daily basis.

i have direct contact with suppliers and traders purchasing from suppliers and i coordinate the full movement of product so basically customer tells me: i need X amt of product moved from point a in the usa to point b in the world. they specify, often, the particulars of like.. what steamship lines to use based on rate, or like on end destination preferences, and they expect us to typically coordinate the trucker to pick up food grade containers that then live load or transload at a supplier's plant and then get ingated back into whatever port terminal to get on a vessel and make specific arrival times at their end destination.

like idk some of u might even be in this industry too, so u kno what i mean.

the PROBLEM is that i am expected to get the booking with the ssl, coordinate the trucker, make sure the product gets loaded both within the customer's expected window + within a window where containers can be ingated against said booking's vessel, with OUT additional cost (so things can't sit on yards and get storage or detention for drivers or have additional legs in the trucking which means more money to pay trucker ect ect) and i have to load the amount the customer requests AND

Sometimes the product has to go on rail and that has specific regulations and sometimes the product is hazardous and has to be pre approved on the SSL to even be booked but the customer sent a request asking to load the next week so they get mad you dont get a confirmation within the same day because the haz approval has to be granted by the transhipment port half way across the world too because SOME ports don't take haz and some do but only certain kinds and and and and....

sometimes there is a vessel congestion in the ports or bad weather that shuts down ports or plants, or sometimes drivers have mechnical issues or just miss their fkn appts to load or show up with wrong equipment or ... or there is no container your driver can find because the ssl is out of them at that particular port location or...

yeah.

and so take that and then give me one account that is incredibly picky, sends requests last minute, mostly of randomly haz bullshit, and expects u to lick their boots....

and then another account where i am expected to maintain a perfect constant flow of bookings out of four different ports and the amount expected is like... ohhh 28 a week out of one, 10 out of another, 20 out of two others... and THEN that same customer sends you 75 FUCKING RAILCARS TO ONE SINGLE RAILSPUR/TRUCKER THAT CAN ONLY TRANSLOAD TWO A DAY, MAYBE FOUR TOPS, AND and your boss told them that there would be NO storage charged back to them so you have to now hope to god all the railcars dont show up at once because then you have to meet that four day vessel window and at MOST can load out like 10 of the railcars, if that, if you are lucky with perfect conditions but WHOOPS ALL 75 ARE THERE AT ONCE SO ACTUALLY fuck your life you get storage on 65 railcars and it shows on YOUR account that you lost money

you have to do the customs filing and documentation for destination arrival and have a window for that too and must have the info perfect or there is charges for fucking it up or containers getting stuck in customs at the destination...

yeah.

my co workers are overwhelmed and they have like maybe 60 containers on their desk a month?

my fucking dumb ass customer gives me a total currently of 450.

and yes, they fired people so i dont have a lot of back up until they hire someone new to take over this single stupid account so i can focus on others.

ive been working from like 6am to 7pm if not later because of this. im looking at other jobs but nothing pays as well currently and i technically like my team its just frustrating because ... yeah.

For Lisle, it depends on if he's eating alone or with other people! If he's just eating alone, he just gets a glass of tea to energize him because he doesn't actually have a lot of appetite in the morning-- and then he might sneak in a granola bar or something for extra energy when it starts to return. But if he's gonna be eating where other people are present, he goes all out with french toast with berries, or pancakes, or eggs benedict, and gets a fancy mug to fill with some real fancy kind of tea He has an example to set, after all! So he needs to appear to take good care of himself.

Since Victor usually wakes up so early, he has lots of time to prepare breakfast for himself. He starts it off with a cup of coffee— filled to the brim with so much milk and sugar that the sickly sweet concoction could barely even be called 'coffee' anymore— just to wake himself up properly, but then I think he'd do that thing where you make your breakfast look like an animal of some kind, like putting three slices of bananas and three raisins on a piece of toast to make it look like a bear. And he never puts butter on his toast; always something sweet, like jam, marmelade or chocolate spread. Or if he's not feeling well, just regular fried eggs and bacon. He always prefers warm food in the morning. And then he'll bring another cup of coffee with him to go while he goes to do some early-morning chores.

Irina eats a singular piece of bread. usually the pre-sliced white bread you can buy in bulk at stores. If she's feeling extra bad that morning, she'll microwave it for a few seconds to warm it up a little. She'll also always have at least two pieces of bread with her in a small plastic bag at all times, to put in her bag or pocket. Just so she has 'emergency rations', in case she for any reason can't get anything to eat. It's a habit carried over from when her parents used to forget to feed her when she was little, and she started hiding small pieces of food in her room in case they forgot again.

Lisle is a planner through and through. Every tiny little part of his image, what he says, how he presents to others, is thought-out and calculated in advance. He has a 10-year-plan, five-year plan, and even a three-month-plan! He'll adjust this plan slightly when something unforeseen occurs, but prefers to do so quite a while in advance. The kind of 'you need to ask me to hang out at least a week in advance' kind of person. He has so much going on and so many people to help that it's just kind of a necessity for him! He is incredibly ambitious, after all, so he needs to spend all his time maximizing his chances of future success!

Victor is also more of a planner, even though it might not appear like it. For example, he often just wings his school projects. He's pretty good at alchemy and potionology, so with those he usually already knows the solution, but if he doesn't, he just experiments and makes something up. But if it's a history test, he'll answer the questions he does already know correctly, then choose the other options at random, because then there's a 50/50 chance he'll be right. Really, so long as his grades are good enough to keep him in school and out of any kind of trouble (like detention or extra homework) he doesn't care. So he plans ahead to be able to do the bare minimum required of him, and spend the least amount of time possible. Work smarter not harder, basically, minimizing the amount of work he needs to do as much as he can. But if it's something he does really care about, like doing a specific experiment, he'll plan out how to get the specimen he needs, several different ways to go about it if plan A fails, etc. Though he's learned from experience not to have any plans for what he's actually going to do in the experiment; when he sees the thing in front of him his planning all goes out the window and he acts on instinct, doing the first thing he can think of. His passions have a tendency to take over him in that way.

Irina is 100% NOT a planner. Girl has never planned anything in her life. She lives moment-to-moment, always deciding things as they come. She's gotten this far purely on improv, after all! And her mind lives so in-the-moment anyway that planning isn't even really something she CAN do. It just feels too far away from the current moment for it to be something she can bring herself to consider at all important. So if she ever does try to plan something, it's usually just what she's gonna do in the next hour, or what excuse she can tell in case she's a little bit late to something.

Lisle has a license to drive a motorcycle! He's pretty attached to his own motorcycle, actually. I'm not Christian myself so who knows maybe that's like blasphemous or something, but I just thought the idea was neat.
