SHRIMPFINITY is an art installation located within FloridaRAMA in St. Pete, Florida. It includes a six foot tall Shrimp'tini, as well as a shrimp disco ball. When you enter the room, there is bubbly, high energy music playing, which is made by the sounds emitted by groups of shrimp!

This mural was created by Ben Johnston for the 2022 edition of SHINE Mural Festival in St. Pete, Florida. You can also find his recent work on Instagram.

This year is the 10th Anniversary of the festival which begins tomorrow, 11/8. On Saturday, 11/9 there is a kick-off party, taking place at FloridaRAMA.

When not photographing roller coasters, I quite like art museums! One of my favorites is called FloridaRAMA — A collection of exhibits by local artists, about our local folklore, nature, cities, and community. It is an immersive experience where as you explore the museum you piece together the story of a couple who has gone missing.

We're humbled by the community interest and immensely impressed with the creative talent in Tampa Bay and the rest of Florida! Floridarama! Fairgrounds’ signature installation is called “Floridarama” and consists of a series of works by a highly curated, and admired, group of artists. Floridarama is the heart and soul of Fairgrounds - it’s truly the space where our spirit and aesthetic come to life. In addition, it will be the room around which much of our programming is based. The artworks within Floridarama will be staged in the form of dioramas created within custom display cases provided by Fairgrounds. After reviewing your work, we believe you to be a great fit for Floridarama and invite you to participate.
