Pointless chitter chatter atm.
I miss talking to my friends. Messing around with them online and saying stupid shit. I need to get a home asap and my life together to get back to them. I want my life to be put together again, and laugh like I used to. I just miss a lot of my sense of peace before all the stupid shit happened.
Gotta keep trucking, and keep being strong. Just to continue to share laughs with people I care about.

Explore The Key Benefits of Mortgage Life Insurance in Florida
When it comes to safeguarding your family's financial future, one important aspect to consider is mortgage life insurance, also known as mortgage protection insurance. It's a specialized insurance policy designed to repay mortgage debts and associated costs in the event of your untimely passing.
Tumblr media
In this article, we will explore the key benefits of choosing mortgage life insurance in Florida and why it might be a smart investment for you and your loved ones.
Why Should You Opt For Mortgage Life Insurance In Florida?
1. Financial Protection for Your Family
The most significant advantage of mortgage life insurance is that it provides a safety net for your family. If you were to pass away before your mortgage is fully paid off, this insurance policy would step in to cover the remaining balance, ensuring that your loved ones won't be burdened with mortgage payments.
2. Affordability
Mortgage life insurance is more affordable than traditional life insurance policies. This affordability makes it accessible to a wider range of homeowners, allowing more families to protect their homes and financial stability without breaking the bank.
3. Coverage Tailored to Your Mortgage
Mortgage life insurance policies are specifically designed to match the outstanding balance of your mortgage. As you pay down your mortgage, the coverage amount also reduces accordingly. This ensures that you are only paying for the coverage you need and that it aligns with your financial commitments.
4. Fast Payouts
Mortgage life insurance policies typically offer fast payouts. This means that your beneficiaries can receive the funds they need to settle the mortgage quickly, reducing the stress of dealing with financial matters during a challenging time.
5. Flexibility
The beneficiaries of a mortgage life insurance policy are not obligated to use the payout solely for the mortgage. While it's a wise choice to use the funds to pay off the home loan, the beneficiaries have the flexibility to allocate the money as needed, such as covering other outstanding debts or daily living expenses.
6. Tax-Free Proceeds
In most cases, the proceeds from a mortgage life insurance policy in Florida are tax-free. This ensures that your beneficiaries receive the full benefit amount without any tax deductions, making it a more efficient financial solution.
7. Peace of Mind
Knowing that your mortgage will be paid off in the event of your passing provides invaluable peace of mind. Your family won't have to worry about losing their home or making mortgage payments while they cope with the emotional and practical aspects of your loss.
8. No Medical Exams Required
Mortgage life insurance often does not require a medical examination. This can be a relief for individuals who may have health concerns that would otherwise make obtaining traditional life insurance more difficult or expensive.
Conclusion
Mortgage life insurance in Florida offers a range of benefits that can provide significant financial protection and peace of mind for you and your loved ones. You will need to carefully consider your specific financial situation and needs before purchasing any insurance policy.
However, mortgage life insurance can be a valuable addition to your financial planning strategy, especially if you're a homeowner with a mortgage to protect.
Do you also want to safeguard your family's financial future and reduce the burden of mortgage costs in the event of your death? Contact Weldin Financial, and we can help you create strategies to protect your finances for your future.

Excerpt from this story from the New York Times:
At first glance, Dave Langston’s predicament seems similar to headaches facing homeowners in coastal states vulnerable to catastrophic hurricanes: As disasters have become more frequent and severe, his insurance company has been losing money. Then, it canceled his coverage and left the state.
But Mr. Langston lives in Iowa.
Relatively consistent weather once made Iowa a good bet for insurance companies. But now, as a warming planet makes events like hail and wind storms worse, insurers are fleeing.
Mr. Langston spent months trying to find another company to insure the townhouses, on a quiet cul-de-sac at the edge of Cedar Rapids, that belong to members of his homeowners association. Without coverage, “if we were to have damage that hit all 17 units, we’re looking at bankruptcy for all of us,” he said.
The insurance turmoil caused by climate change — which had been concentrated in Florida, California and Louisiana — is fast becoming a contagion, spreading to states like Iowa, Arkansas, Ohio, Utah and Washington. Even in the Northeast, where homeowners insurance was still generally profitable last year, the trends are worsening.
In 2023, insurers lost money on homeowners coverage in 18 states, more than a third of the country, according to a New York Times analysis of newly available financial data. That’s up from 12 states five years ago, and eight states in 2013. The result is that insurance companies are raising premiums by as much as 50 percent or more, cutting back on coverage or leaving entire states altogether. Nationally, over the last decade, insurers paid out more in claims than they received in premiums, according to the ratings firm Moody’s, and those losses are increasing.
The growing tumult is affecting people whose homes have never been damaged and who have dutifully paid their premiums, year after year. Cancellation notices have left them scrambling to find coverage to protect what is often their single biggest investment. As a last resort, many are ending up in high-risk insurance pools created by states that are backed by the public and offer less coverage than standard policies. By and large, state regulators lack strategies to restore stability to the market.
Insurers are still turning a profit from other lines of business, like commercial and life insurance policies. But many are dropping homeowners coverage because of losses.
Tracking the shifting insurance market is complicated by the fact it is not regulated by the federal government; attempts by the Treasury Department to simply gather data have been rebuffed by some state regulators.
The turmoil in insurance markets is a flashing red light for an American economy that is built on real property. Without insurance, banks won’t issue a mortgage; without a mortgage, most people can’t buy a home. With fewer buyers, real estate values are likely to decline, along with property tax revenues, leaving communities with less money for schools, police and other basic services.
And without sufficient insurance, people struggle to rebuild after disasters. Last year, storms, wildfires and other disasters pushed 2.5 million American adults out of their homes, according to census data, including at least 830,000 people who were displaced for six months or longer.

There's something so interesting about Ray being essentially defined, in terms of his relationship with Fraser, by being there for him, only for the show to write him out by having him leave Fraser in the lurch to pursue justice.
Like I've written a post about how Ray is contrasted to Bob Fraser in the Pilot as someone who is there for Fraser, who is emotionally supportive and willing to drop everything for him and share his own family with him, etc, compared to Fraser's relationship with his father which is defined by distance, both emotional and literal as Fraser was mostly raised by his grandparents after his mother died.
It's a strong recurring theme with Ray and Fraser's relationship in the first two seasons in general. Fraser's "sometimes the world comes to you" in Chicago Holiday; "A friend is someone who won't stop until he finds you and brings you home;" Ray refusing to abandon Fraser despite his dad in North; Ray giving up everything from a basketball game to a Florida vacation to drive Fraser around; Ray mortaging his house for Fraser's bail money in Victoria's Secret and having his back every step of the way (in contrast to Fraser nearly running off with Victoria); etc etc.
In Vault the central point of contention between Ray and Fraser is Ray upset that Fraser prioritizes the most abstract form of duty imaginable (defending insured bank money for the principle) over their lives. Ray is always about the personal over the abstract, always prioritizing the people he knows and cares about over the law despite his job.
SO it's kind of fucking wild that Ray suddenly disappears from Fraser's life without even a goodbye to fulfill his duty as a cop and go get the bad guys.
I don't think this is intended by the writers because there's little thematic continuity with the shift from seasons 1-2 and 3-4, and it doesn't stick a thematically coherent ending. I think it was just a wacky way to write Ray out of the show. But it's definitely interesting that what causes Ray to disappear from Fraser's life is duty to the law. It's like Fraser rubbed off on Ray, like Ray wants to live up to his example. And it's just so ironic from Fraser's point of view in a "be careful what you wish for" kind of way.

Dr. Arthur Duperrault had always promised his family they would one day go sailing. That day finally rolled around on 8 November, 1961, when Arthur, his wife, Jean, and their three children, 14-year-old Brian, 11-year-old Terry Jo, and 7-year-old Renee, departed Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to sail to the Bahamas. Also in attendance was WWII and Korean War veteran, Julian Harvey, and his wife, Mary Dene. Julian was on board to skipper the yacht.
While the trip started out as idyllic, it soon turned to horror. One night, Terry Jo was awoken by piercing screams. As she came up to the deck, she was met by a bloodbath - her entire family and Mary had been brutally murdered. Standing at the other side of the deck was Julian, who shouted to Terry Jo to stay on board as he escaped on a dinghy. Terry Jo soon realised that the yacht was quickly sinking but she managed to untie a small cork float which she launched into the ocean.
Four days later, Terry Jo was rescued by a passing ship. She had been floating on the cork float with no food or water. Meanwhile, Julian was picked up by a different ship and claimed that the yacht had mysteriously sunk, killing everybody onboard. Unbeknownst to him, Terry Jo had survived and was able to refute his claims, telling the captain of the ship that Julian had killed everybody on board before escaping.
As it was later revealed, Julian had planned to kill his wife to pick up the insurance money and he killed Terry Jo’s family as a way to cover up the murder. Terry Jo later said she believed that Julian hadn’t killed her because he expected her to sink with the yacht.
After discovering that Terry Jo was still alive, Julian took his own life.

sorry about the pic of the tarot reading i should have made the tarot part and the talking about the appointment part 2 separate posts. oh well. still feeling the hierophant reversed on this one so its marginally okay
weird how i spend so much time googling this medication that i was put on and nothing mentions forgetfulness/distractability as a symptom like. an example of a side effect i see listed that can also be seen as an adhd thing is restlessness.
but the most similar thing to FORGETFULNESS that i see is brain fog and even then everywhere i look its like "this medication is not known to cause brain fog as a side effect in any significant capacity and the main brain fog effects this causes are sleepiness and fatigue"
not to mention from looking at reddit theres apparently multiple threads of ppl talking about doctors not believing them about adhd and then giving them this exact medication so maybe this is the case with my guy too. i mean if he thinks u can do too well in elementary school to have adhd. who knows what other adhd things he thinks ISNT adhd.
its just exacerbating my adhd symptoms. all i know is my impostor syndrome about adhd is way worse since starting this medication because what if everything im experiencing is just a side effect.
Tumblr media
i have a psychiatrist appointment and these are the cards i get?????
drafted this, this section onward is AFTER the appointment. if i had to summarize this reading. basically these cards said to trust my OWN intuition. is it weird to think "huh that just sounds like adhd" when your psychiatrist describes side effects ur experiencing of the medication ur on. but i know sometimes adhd online posts can forget that sometimes adhd isnt the only explanation for a thing. but idk.
