Screenshot of an item I got for $5 but after the new service fee and tax, it comes to $5.28 Oh, no.  The 5% service fee has kicked in on the Flashfood app officially (as of May 1, 2024).  Sigh.  I don’t know why they have to tax on top of the 5% fee.  It makes a $3 box become $3.15 after the fee and then $3.17 after tax…  Or a $5 box become $5.28. 😦 Also, when I emailed Continue reading Flashfood…

So just so y'all know, reviews for Flashfood aren't the best. There's a lot of people who love it, who reviewed a good few months ago, and some more recent reviews that aren't so glowing. Apparently customer service is awful, takes them ages to get back to you or refund you, and mistakes on orders happen basically most of the time. Hoping they'll work out the kinks in that soon

we have this app called toogoodtogo where restaurants/cafes/bakeries/hotels and so on sell their leftovers for really cheap to reduce foodwaste

i got all of this for €4 from starbucks
