Als ich ein Kind war habe ich meine Arme in mein T-Shirt gesteckt und den Leuten gesagt, dass ich meine Arme verloren habe. Ein Videospiel neugestartet, als ich wusste, dass ich verlieren würde. Mit allen Stofftieren im Bett geschlafen, damit keines eifersüchtig sein musste. Hatte ich einen Stift mit 4 Farben und habe probiert, alle gleichzeitig heraus zu drücken. Habe ich so getan als würde ich schlafen, nur damit ich ins Bett getragen werde. Zwei Regentropfen am Fenster beobachtet und geguckt, welche schneller unten ankommt. Bin nur an den Computer gegangen um mit Paint zu malen. Das einzige, für das ich Verantwortung zeigen musste, war mein Tamagotchi. Ich habe gedacht, ich muss sterben, weil ich den Samen einer Frucht mitgegessen habe und nun ein Baum in meinem Bauch wächst. Erinnerst du dich noch an deine Kindheit und dass du es nicht erwarten konntest, erwachsen zu werden? Wir hatten keine Sorgen, Keine Probleme..

My name is Dominic, and my age is 19 years old going on 20. The gender I'm align with is male. I was born and raised in Bradenton, Florida and live in Ellenton as of today. my ethnicity that I am is I'm biracial. I play video games and go walking for fun mostly on weekends. I've been a member of the National Society of High School Scholars since 2020. as of right now I work remote at home as a Customer Service Representee. What makes me unique is that I get along with different types of people, organizational skills, and the ability to empathize people as a whole.

ART AND WRITING/Virtual Sketchbook#1

The Art that I have chosen that hangs on my wall is created by Vivian Flasch as you can see the image depicts three largely blooming white magnolias on a vine. The painting was created in the early 1990s by Flasch herself and when she created it, she was only 20 years old. This art is made from carboard, paper, wet paint, brown, Burgandy red, white. It serves as to express emotions, commemorate history, expose injustices, overcome obstacles. I think the painting is beautiful in a way because the white magnolias just catch your eye in all angles.

When I first seen the art form, I thought it was a dome. This piece made me feel like there's a lot of creativity put into the form that is about happiness.

2.  It was created by using computer technology to cut into precise shapes 168 giant stainless-steel plates.

5. Kapoor was inspired by liquid mercury and the sculpture was given a formal name once fully assembled.

Compared to the first time I seen the Artform it changed my whole perspective of how it is the 2nd time mainly because what I thought it was at the beginning compared to now. I do see something in the artform different this time mainly because I thought it was a dome, but it was made in of a shape of a bean-like structure.

Four New Designs for the BMW M4 GT4

BMW M is sending the successful BMW M4 GT4 motorsport model into its fourth racing season with four exclusive new designs and is offering the four spectacular winning designs from an internal design competition in a limited edition to interested customer teams, BMW M fans and car enthusiasts. Since 2018, the BMW M4 GT4 has been taking part successfully in numerous racing series around the world. In addition to the car’s performance, BMW customer teams also appreciate its rational features in areas important to this segment such as mileage, cost efficiency and ease of maintenance. The BMW M4 GT4 can be used in sprint formats as well as with an endurance package in long-distance races. "Powersticks" make it easy to adjust the power levels to those that are relevant in terms of Balance of Performance. The price of the BMW M4 GT4 with one of the four exclusive designs is 174,000 Euros net in Germany. The limited edition will be distributed by BMW M Motorsport dealers and the BMW M GmbH customer sport sales department.

30 designers took part in the worldwide creative competition organized by the BMW Group and the BMW Group company Designworks. The four-member jury consisting of Adrian van Hooydonk, Head of BMW Group Design, Domagoj Dukec, Head of BMW Design, Markus Flasch, CEO BMW M GmbH, and Jens Marquardt, the BMW Group Motorsport Director at the time, selected four spectacular designs. "The quality of all the designs we received was impressive and shows just how creative and passionate our designers are about motorsport. All four selected designs emphasize the highly dynamic character of the BMW M4 GT4. The jury was particularly impressed by the perfect interplay of the topics of BMW Motorsport history, classic BMW M icons and how the number four was interpreted.

The designs of Julia Quentin of BMW Motorrad from Munich (GER), Simon Haynes of Rolls-Royce Design from Goodwood (GBR), Wesselka Mandowa-Maier of Designworks from Los Angeles (USA) and Li Tianyuan of BMW i Design from Munich (GER) were awarded by the jury. The designs were applied to the BMW M4 GT4 using high quality foil. The winning designs from four different design departments and three different countries reflect the level of interest and great appreciation for motorsport within the entire BMW Group.

Julia Quentin, BMW Motorrad Design, Munich In her design, as the color and material designer of BMW Motorrad, she focuses primarily on large geometric shapes and a prominent inclusion of the number "04": "My work combines two of my greatest passions, namely motorcycling and designing motorbikes. In my designs I always consider how graphics and patterns can emphasize the sculptural geometry of an object. Adding details and colors can completely change and emotionalize a design. I love to create disruptive designs that convey a strong visual message. That's why I designed a geometric pattern for the BMW M4 GT4 with cleanly cut squares and large typography. The eye must first understand the pattern before it sees the shape of the vehicle at second glance"

Vivid Momentum Simon Haynes, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Design, Goodwood The designer from Rolls-Royce Motor Cars’ coachbuilding division has revived and reinterpreted a legendary paint scheme for BMW racing cars from the 1970s and reinterpreted it as “Vivid Momentum”: "This task was very different from what I do in my normal job, but I was able to bring my passion for motorsport to bear. My design is a tribute to one of BMW's most striking racing designs, which stood out from the other designs of its time. The concentric rings play with the original disc motif and radiate from the front wheel to the rear. In addition, the vehicle has a semitone structure that changes from a solid black to an intense metallic red from front to back. This highlights the sense of speed and gives the vehicle a forward facing attitude"

The Power of Four Wesselka Mandowa-Maier, Designworks, Los Angeles. The Bulgarian-born designer, who after ten years in the service of MINI Design has been working in the Designworks Studio in California since 2019, was inspired by the classic BMW M colors light blue, dark blue and red, which stand for power and dynamics: "I have named my design 'The Power of Four'. I was inspired by the numbers in the name of the BMW M4 GT4, which also stands for the unimaginable power the engine puts on the race track. And only connected to the track by the four wheels. To support this idea in the design, all four views of the vehicle are abstractly divided by four. The classic BMW M colors are vibrant and powerful and give the vehicle additional energy."

Fluid Power Li Tianyuan, BMW i Design, Munich The exterior designer from BMW i relied on influences from his home country for his design:  "My main inspiration was calligraphy and Chinese painting with the contrast of black and white and the perfect balance between elegance and power. The design of the vehicle is asymmetrical. Two goldfish, which in China stand for perfection and happiness, but also symbolize powerful movement with their caudal fins, swim in a circle around the driver from above and place him in the center. In addition to the Arabic numeral 4, this number is also applied to the bodywork as a traditional Chinese calligraphy mark. This stands for the tolerance and openness of a great brand like BMW towards the entire world’s culture and at the same time gives the M4 GT4 a very special, timeless and unforgettable appearance."

Susumu Kamijo at Jack Hanley Gallery

Known for his paintings of poodles, Brooklyn based artist Susumu Kamijo takes the dog’s form as a launchpad for explorations of color, pattern and form. Here, the dog breaks up into floating organic shapes that come together to form a canine apparition. Similarly real-but-not-quite, the dog’s mouth opens in an enthusiastic bark but its half closed eyes suggest restraint. (On view at Jack Hanley Gallery on the Lower East Side and at Marvin Gardens in Ridgewood, NY through Oct 11th. Masks and social distancing are required.) Fun Facts:

Any child in Germany is sure to be familiar with the smiling face of this famous German mouse named Diddl. Diddl was first created by artist Thomas Goletz in 1990 and Diddl's face now appears worldwide on a variety of items, such as stationery, greeting cards, and lots of school supplies. Unlike other similar types of characters, Diddl does not star in his own TV program or even comic strip. He is recognized worldwide by his big feet and charming smile. Diddl is often accompanied by his friends Diddlina, Pimboli, and Mimihops.

(The "Schultüte" (also called a "Zuckertüte") is typical in the German-speaking countries. On their very first day of school, the children get a brightly colored cone filled with fruit, sweets, and small school supplies (colored pencils, etc.). It's supposed to help "sweeten" that first day of school for the first graders (or "ABC-learners"), and the children are very proud of them.)

Based upon its color and imaginative nature, some may think that this famous painting by German Expressionist Franz Marc (1880–1916) looks like a child painted it. Franz Marc, a member of the German Expressionist group, der blaue Reiter, chose many simple subjects, such as animals, for his paintings. His early paintings are often bright, colorful, and childlike.

His work changed after he was sent to war during WWI. His paintings became more dark and violent. Marc, along with other German Expressionists, used his work to speak out against the war that eventually took his life in 1916.

Erich Kästner, 1899-1974, wrote many famous children´s books. He was born in Dresden and the statue in this picture is in front of the Erich Kästner Museum in Dresden. His most famous work Emil und die Detektive exists in many languages and several film versions. Another very well known work Das doppelte Lottchen is the basis for the movie The Parent Trap.
