You saw that he had animal companions and begged him to let you join him on his hunts. He allowed you, with the only exception that he wouldn't have to take care of you specifically. For now

Part of his whole obsession was seeing you so involved in the thrill of the hunt and taking care of his animals.

He felt himself caring for you like he cared for his animals, and obsessed for you more than he did about pleasing death. He felt, weird. Doesn't understand why he wants to care for you, so he seems gruff and unpleased until he finds out why he cares for you.

Once he finds out that he has an obsession, he just,, locks you into the Vault hunter room. What are you going to do? Leave?

I'm not joking though, he just locks you in the room for vault hunters and then leaves.

You're confused, maybe he just left you by accident, so then you try to get to him by the echo-net and he tells you that he wants to take care of you, so just stay there until he comes back.

He doesn't expect you to give him affection though, he just wants to nurture you and care for you until you become a worthy adversary for Death herself.

Because of his animals, you will at least have a companion that isn't CL4PTR4P! So, you got that going for ya'. One of the few yandere Vault Hunters from BL3 that doesn't have BAYLEX or CL4PTR4P watching you, so yippee!

Because of your time hunting together, he knows how you would navigate any traps he set out for you in case you escape, so you can't escape, for you would immediately get trapped again in which case, his animal companion tells him immediately and flips between lecturing you on not escaping your room, or explaining how to escape the trap to become better for Death.

He is one of the few Yanderes where Escape and even a normal life is possible. As long as you go hunting with him.

Maybe he acts/says that it’ll effect his pets performance in battle, but really he finds it cute and enduring that the reader cares for his beasts just as much as he does.

I'm sorry this took so long for me to do! This is such a cute request! I hope you like it! Fl4k is a bit hard to write for, but I hope I did well. Any ideas on how I can improve my writing are appreciated. Also, I could not remember which pronouns were used for which pet since I only use Mr. Chew lol

“Dear, this is not necessary, you’re making them soft,” Fl4k chastised as you ran your fingers over the top of Meat-Thief’s head, cooing about how well he did in the last battle. 

“There’s no harm in a little praise! Besides, he fights just as hard as you do, wouldn’t you say he deserves a reward?” You pause your petting for a moment to look at Fl4k, who was unsure of what to say. Meat-Thief quickly grew bored of waiting for you to continue and took actions into his own hands, grabbing your wrists and leading them back to his head, a clear nonverbal plea for more affection.

“Of course, but do you not think this is a bit much? The beasts would never stop the hunt, now they look to you after every fight hoping for praise.”

“And what’s wrong with that? There’s no fight they can’t help you out of, so no harm no foul, right?” Fl4k could only sigh as they watched you play with Meat-Thief, who was very content with being showered in so much love.

For as much as they complained, Fl4k couldn’t deny that it was sweet seeing you treat their creatures with all the care in the world. Upon updating Lilith with the results of your latest mission, they returned to the room they shared with you and were met with a sight they had seen many times before, but they welcomed it nonetheless. Few people would be willing to cuddle with a spiderant, but you often winded down by taking a nap with Broodless. It rested atop your legs, occasionally repositioning to get more comfortable. Creepy crawly aside, a spiderant didn’t seem like the most ideal creature to cuddle, with all its harsh edges and jagged limbs, but you never seemed to have any issues.

“Fl4k,” you called softly so as to not stir Broodless from its sleep, “Why doesn’t Broodless hurt?” you asked, “We’ve napped together more times than I can count but I’ve never come out with even a scratch.”

“Broodless respects you.” They answered matter-of-factly as they set food out for Mr. Chew, “It is not a coincidence that you haven’t been hurt yet. Broodless makes a conscious effort not to hurt you. You might not notice it, but it is careful and aware of you, even while it is asleep.” Broodless flinched ever so slightly at the sound of Fl4k’s deep voice. It stood up before stretching slightly and stared at Fl4k, almost grumpy about being woken from its nap, before repositioning itself once again for another nap. You paid more attention this time, noticing how it carefully lowered itself onto your lap, finally relaxing once it made sure you didn’t react in pain. 

“Huh. I wonder why it does that…” You asked yourself out loud,

“That’s simple,” Fl4k responded, taking a seat next to you as they watched Broodless slowly drift off again. “You treat it so well, it wants to return the favor. Not just Broodless, but the rest of the beasts as well.”

Mr. Chew had his own way of thanking you for loving him, as he always walked close to you while on a mission, keeping a careful eye out for any psychos or fanatics that might try to hurt you. He circled around you as you walked with Fl4k to complete a mission for the Crimson Raiders. Your small talk with Fl4k was interrupted by the echos of gunshots and the senseless ramblings of a psycho as he charged at you, being followed by a small group of fanatics not far behind. The psycho was easy to handle, as both you and Fl4k locked on to him while Mr. Chew ran to the fanatics, pouncing on them as soon as he got close. He made quick work of the fanatics, leaving you and Fl4k feeling like proud pet parents.

“What was that about me making them soft?” You asked teasingly, calling back to Fl4k’s concerns about you spoiling the beasts. 

“I do still think that you’re too giving with them sometimes, but I can count on Mr. Chew to stick to discipline.” They stated confidently, though they spoke too soon as Mr. Chew’s manners changed once he saw you. He switched from running to Fl4k’s side to suddenly whining as he slowly limped towards you. The stark contrast was enough to worry you as you met Mr. Chew halfway while Fl4k followed behind you, though they weren’t as concerned as you were.

You knelt down to meet Mr. Chew and gently grabbed his paw, checking for whatever injury could have caused his limp. “My love, you are aware that he is faking, right? It seems I have to retract my earlier statement, you’ve spoiled Mr. Chew as well…” he sighed, but you kept looking intently.

“That can’t be right, Mr. Chew is your most disciplined beast, be serious, he wouldn’t fake this for attention,”

“If that’s true, stop paying attention to him for a moment. See how he reacts.” Fl4k suggested. You didn’t want to doubt Mr. Chew, but the sooner you proved Fl4k wrong, the sooner you could get to caring for Mr. Chew again. You stood up, and Mr. Chew whined again, wanting you to meet his level.

“See? He’s upset. There’s something wrong.” You argued, but Mr. Chew stopped whining. He scooched closer to you and pawed at you lightly, wanting your attention again. You looked down again, and he started whining once he realized he had your attention.

“Well, if he’s so upset, just check him,” Fl4k suggested tiredly, finally giving in to your concern.

You knelt down beside Mr. Chew, looking over his paw again.

“Well, how bad is it?”

Fl4k and Zer0's patience was running thin. They adored their small girlfriend to pieces, they would do anything to make her safe and happy but enough was enough.

All-day, she had done nothing but steal Fl4k's jacket to snuggle in and snatch Zer0's sword to open various food items. The two were sick of it.

She didn't normally act like this. Unless she wanted something of course.

But what could she possibly want this time?

FL4k and Zer0 glanced at each other, seeming to communicate without uttering a single syllable. They needed to figure out what she wanted, or why she was acting bratty today.

Zer0 decided to say something, he knew that Fl4k could be far too soft when it came to (y/n). “You’re acting bratty/What is the reason, darling?/Answer the question.”

(y/n) only turned to the vault hunter speaking, glaring up at him; something he and Fl4k and were not used to from their girlfriend.

“Bite me,” (y/n) snapped at the two.

Zer0 flinched at the cold words but took one glance at Fl4k to give them the look. Zer0 would need their help with (y/n) this time. If she wanted to be difficult, then the two vault hunters would just have to do something about it. They loved her, but they just wanted their sweet and cuddly girlfriend back.

Without a word, Fl4k stood from their position on the couch to corner (y/n) with Zer0 at their side.

The two vault hunters had finally cornered their much smaller girlfriend. Though, it wasn't hard to be smaller in comparison to the likes of Fl4k and Zer0.

Fl4k took the time to see how much their jacket hung off of her, the ends came to the top of her knees. They couldn't deny how much they adored the sight and wanted nothing more than to see her in all of their clothes.

“You’re wearing my jacket. You’re practically swimming in it,” Fl4k said. They took a moment to cup one side of (y/n)’s face, her gaze locked onto the towering robot as they spook softly, “You look lovely.”

Zer0 tilted his head to the side, analyzing her form: (y/n) looked much less assertive, all confidence and any dominance that was once there was completely gone if it was even there in the first place.

“My love, do not steal/It is wrong, and it’s my sword/Why would you steal this?” Zer0 asked, (y/n) turned her attention from FL4k to Zer0, once Fl4k released their grip of course.

(y/n) wasn't glaring at her lovers anymore, she finally had their attention again, but she should still explain that to them of course,

“Well, how else am I going to get your attention? You two are always off hunting vaults, and you don’t get to check in very often, it gets lonely,” (y/n) explained.

The two vault hunters were, of course, surprised by their girlfriend’s reasoning for her actions today. They both understood how being alone without them could be lonely especially since the two have to be gone for days at a time.

“That is understandable, but you still shouldn’t steal our things. Communication is the baseline for all relationships.” (y/n) knew that Fl4k was right. They were always right.

“I’m sorry…” (y/n) apologized, sheepishly.

Zer0 took a step forward to press his helmet against (y/n)’s and took a deep breath, letting her relax against him. He was letting her know that he and Fl4k weren't angry in the slightest.

“If you want to borrow our things to feel closer to us when we’re gone, just ask,” Zer0’ said softly, but then his tone shifted quickly: one of his hands gripped (y/n)’s jaw in a semi-rough manner, tilting her head to the side and pressing his head into the crook of her neck. "Do not steal again/or there will be consequences/for us to enjoy."

There was a pause in the room as Zer0's words hung in the air. Through it wasn't an awkward silence. One which was quickly broken by Fl4k, "Zer0 means in the bedroom of course."

Being with a Vault hunter, whether romantically or platonically, loot wasn’t a rare thing to be given as gifts. This was a cruel solar system, you needed things to defend yourself, even if you weren’t a hunter yourself. Fl4k was also pretty bad with showing affection, but I knew not to take it personally. Romance was still something they needed to figure out. They still saw humans as ‘weak and fragile creatures of flesh that are alive out of pure luck’, except me, of course. It always made me wonder what they saw in me.

The doors to my room sliding open woke me back to reality, away from my work. I looked over, seeing Fl4k standing in the doorway. Speak of the Devil—

“Am I interrupting you?”

“No, not at all. Come in!”

I pushed away the parts I was messing with so they could sit on the bed next to me. They walked up to me, holding their hands behind their back, which I couldn’t help but find... strange. I looked up at them with a raised eyebrow. “You hiding something from me?”

“Not for long.” As they spoke, they showed off the wrapped gift in their hands. I couldn’t help but smile. “Aaww Fl4k, you didn’t have to!”

“I’ve been told that presenting gifts to your mate as a token of affection is popular for humans.” They said. “I hope it’s to your liking.”

They handed it to me, sitting down as I started to rip off the paper. As I unwrapped the gift, I noticed a stinky sensation at the bottom of the box. I didn’t think much of it as I took of the top of the box. I jerked back in surprise, trying not to scare Fl4k. It was a heart, not sure if it was human or not, bloody and fresh. I gulped, trying not to vomit. I guess I should have expected this from a robot that mass murders in the name of death itself, or herself in Fl4k’s case. I noticed next to the organ was a little card that said ‘you’ve stolen my heart’.

Well that’s... actually kind of sweet, all things considered. I tried not to look uncomfortable, but Fl4k didn’t seem to be buying it. “I’ve upset you.”

“No, no! You didn’t, hon. It’s just... uuhh.”

As I tried to find the words to describe my feelings, they took the body box away from me. “You don’t have to pretend. It wasn’t my intention to make you uncomfortable.”

“I know. By the way, word of caution, giving someone an organ is... frowned upon, to say the least.”

“Hmm. I’ve seen many beasts give their mates the carcass of their enemies as a way of seduction. I suppose humans are different...”

I couldn’t help but snicker. “I appreciate the thought. If you want to give me a gift though, just ask what I’d like.”

“I tried that before. I asked Moxxi and she handed me a magazine filled with sex toys. I figured you wouldn’t like that either.”

Well, that was their first mistake, trying to ask Moxxi what to give someone and expect anything nonsexual. I watched as they tossed the box away. I hopped out of bed and hugged them from behind. “You’re sweet.” I muttered.

“I’m not sure if many would agree with you.” They replied. I rolled my eyes. “Well, you’re sweet to me.”

They turned their attention away from me for just a moment, which was enough to finally notice the mess on my bed. “What are you working on?”

“Oh just some... modifications for you.” I replied, batting my eyelashes. Fl4k had always been curious about sex and learning why many species seem to be obsessed with it. They walked over and pulled out one of the mods, which was just an ordinary looking dildo. “Hmmm... I’m curious to see if I’ll actually feel anything.”

I snorted, taking it out of their hands and tossing it to the side. “I’m not done yet, I’m still working out a few kinks. I wanna make sure you enjoy yourself just as much as I will.”

I raised an eyebrow at that statement. “Learning?”

Fl4k feels like something isn’t right, “y/n something is wrong....please stay close to me my friend.” You nod, “alright Fl4k I’ll try and not get too cared away.”

We both go to the center of town, there was a only badass which you both killed very quickly. Fl4k chuckles, “I guess I over reacted”

You let your guard down a bit, “I guess so-“ suddenly an invisible force starts choking you and raising you into the air.

Fl4k looks at you, “y/n!” They turned around to see the colypso twins, and Tyreen chuckles, “hey hey hey stop killing my children we need them for the future.” Fl4k growls and starts shooting at them, but they block their bullets, Fl4k started getting mad, “put her down colypso!” Tyreen rolls her eyes, “ooooo the smelly robot wants his toy back? Well....” she brings you higher, “WELL HERE YOU GO!!” She slams you into the ground below making a small crater under you.

Fl4k runs to you and craddles your body, “y/n!”

Tyreen laughs at the scene, “that was funny one less crimson raider one less thing in our way now let’s get out of here Troy.” The twins teleport away leaving the sad robot to craddle your weak body.

You open your eyes a bit, “Fl4k.....I-I’ll be fine just give me a stim pack.” You try to sit up but there was a loud crack causing a sharp pain on your back, “ow!” Fl4k holds you, “don’t move y/n, as pack leader I refuse to leave your side.”

(Y/n) sighed as she watched Fl4k from the side of Moxxi's bar. There was something about the mysterious beastmaster that made her attracted to them, but she didn't know what.

She'd tried to let them know about her feelings. A flirty smile here, a playful lean on the shoulder there, but they either didn't acknowledge or straight up ignored her advances. She was getting frustrated.

Suddenly, Moxxi appeared beside (Y/n) and poured her another drink. "What's got you looking so down?"

(Y/n) frowned and motioned to Fl4k, who was now feeding his pet skag some scraps. Moxxi tutted and pushed (Y/n)'s hair back a bit. "Fl4k? Honey, they're just about oblivious as a baby. You need to let them know how you feel. Fl4k isn't a mind reader. Here, take an extra shot on the house for confidence."

(Y/n) downed her drink and stood up, muttering her thanks to Moxxi. When she reached the tall vault hunter, she felt her face catch on fire. "Hello, Fl4k. How was your day?"

"Excellent." They replied, then motioned to their skag. "I watched my beast decapitate a COV with a single bite. It was amusing."

"Right." She laughed awkwardly. "Hey, would you mind walking out to the main deck with me? I'm pretty sure some Varkids got in and I need help dealing with them."

Troy x Reader/Borderlands 3 Rewrite Pt 2

After being told that we had to find the Atlas operative, we digistructed my favorite vehicle. It was my outrunner that was pastel with skags painted on it. It only seated two however so we all had to take multiple vehicles. Luckily, FL4K was in mine, he drove while I got in the gunner seat. Our skags got into the back compartment. Driving down the streets in Promethea was exhilarating, the wind blowing through my hair as we sped to the location. All was well until I heard familiar voices coming through our Echos.

"So what do you think of our new corporate sponsors? So far, selling out is awesome!" I groaned hearing Tyreen's voice followed by Troy's.

"We gave Maliwan an unlimited supply of screaming war-meat, a.k.a. our followers. And they gave us a bunch of crazy high-tech guns." I rolled my eyes, mumbling, "Maliwan is garbage anyway.. Waste of lives.." I heard a chuckle come from Troy as if they could hear me and Tyreen cheerfully kept going. "And once they take the planet, they get Atlas, and we get the Vault. So, you're left playing with... whatever you got down there! Just keep doin' you! Ha!"

I growled, 'They are awful..' Lorelai informed us that the operative is aiming at a weapons depot. I fist pumped at the thought of new weapons, Atlas and Jakobs are my absolute favorite. The squad all jumped out of the car when we hit a road block and starting strategizing on how we are gonna take out the enemies in our way. I climbed onto one of the platform stairs while Monty charged off after the Maliwan men. Looking down my sights, I tried my best to cover Amara and Moze mostly as they are our front line. I hummed one of Tina's old songs about bombs as we slowly advanced and made our way through.

Lorelai came through on the comms just as I finished the last guy in our space and we started moving forward, "That weapons depot's a juicy target, but they've got an inpenetrable security force-field surrounding it. If you somehow crack it open, you're gonna find some quality firepower in there." I charged forward to find a new spot to snipe having a rush of energy at the thought of new guns. "Let's go guys! Guns aren't gonna loot themselves!" They all chuckled at my antics and rushed forward to cover me.

After all the men were taken out, we all jogged to the end and my face broke into a grin when I saw who it was. "Zer0!" After he super badass took out those security bots, I ran and tackle hugged him. "I missed you!" He chuckled as much as a robot ninja can and turned to the others after releasing me. "Hello, Vault Hunters. / Let's ruin Maliwan's day. / Our mission begins." I tried to act cool on the outside, meanwhile I was geeking on the inside at the idea of getting to fight along side Zer0.

He led us to a plaza and the fight immediately began. Zer0 kept me close to him, he probably still saw me as the young girl who followed him and Roland around. Zer0 and Maya were my favorites of the new Vault Hunters, Maya usually could only see me in private due to her trying to help me with my powers so the one I was always seen following around Sanctuary was Zer0. I resorted to mostly using my melee as I hadn't thought to bring anything besides my sniper with me. I was too excited about having room for new weapons. Soon enough all the bots and unforseen human enemies had been defeated and we made our way into the depot. After searching through all the weapons, to my dissapointment there were no pistols, shotguns, or snipers better than what I already had at home. 'Bummer..' I did find the sword powerup that Zer0 needed.

I ran it over to him excitedly and he seemed pleased, however he shook his head. "Let me trade for it. / Woudln't be fair. / To just take it." He held out a sniper, it didn't look like it was made by Maliwan. When I exchanged the powerup for it and began examining it, it was made by Jakobs and it was wayyy better than my current one. I thought for a moment and realized there was no way he found it here, "Where did you get this from Zer0?" He simply did a smile emoji on his head and started attaching the powerup to his sword. "Look at this. / Monomolecular edge. / Translation? Cool sword." I giggled at his antics and moved to equip my new sniper and attach the other one to the back of my hips.

My good mood soon got spoiled however when a spoiled twat came up on a nearby screen. I groaned and shook my head, 'Of course, I can't go more than an hour without hearing from idiots..' His smug voice started talking, "Hey, it's Rhys' best friend Zer0, stealing my tech. What's wrong? Atlas not "cutting it" anymore? My offer still stands. It's not too late to come work for Maliwan." He turned his gaze towards the team, "And YOU must be the Vault Hunters Tyreen warned me about. You know what, I don't even have time for you. I'll let my superior forces do the talking." His gaze turned to me now, "You however, I was told nothing about. Don't get in my way unless you want the same fate as your friends." I glared as the screen went black, "Dick.." Zane started laughing, "I would love to see you drunk. Everything would piss you off."

Zer0 interupted "That's Katagawa. / Head of Maliwan Mergers. / And Acquisitions." He made a goofy emoji face, "That guy is a douche. / And he's way obsessed with Rhys. / It's kind of creepy." He walked over to the shield blocking us in and made a happy emoji face, "With this new upgrade. / I can cut Maliwan shields. / Stand back and watch this."

I stood back and watched in awe as the shield slowly got annhialated by the sword. Zer0 seemed excited by this as I prepped the Catch-A-Ride to get my vehicle ready. "Walls cannot hold us. / Now to take down Gigamind. / That is our mission." Amara got hyped and rushed up to Zer0, "Is this Gigamind something I can punch?" Zer0 nodded, "Maliwan AI. / All their secrets in one place. / A juicy target."

Amara seemed confused, "So we break Gigamind into tiny bits and then sift through them for info?" A gleeful emoji popped up, "Precisely the plan. / Meet at Halcyon Spaceport. / Now the hunt is on." He dissapeared in true Zer0 fashion as we all loaded up into our vehicles again, this time instead of being greeted by the lovely sound of Calypso twins, my Echo started broadcasting Katagawa. I facepalmed my head into the gun in front of me resulting in it firing and accidentally hitting a security bot.

"This takeover won't be hostile for long. Atlas and Maliwan, we're hashing things out the corporate way. Rhys doesn't get it yet, but when this is over we'll all be one titanic happy family. You're small stuff, Vault Hunter. Not worth my time. Mess with my Gigamind, though, and that'll change. You keep playing under the feet of giants, you're gonna get stepped on." I grumble to myself and take my annoyance out on some random bots, 'I'll be the one doing the stepping. Mess with my friends..' We arrived at the location Zer0 marked on our maps, when a tv nearby suddenly started playing stupid music. I went closer to inspect it and saw a really slapstick comedy thing of Lilith getting her powers taken. Being the easy to upset person that I am, I prepped my brass knuckles and punched the screen out of the tv.

As soon as it went out, I heard a familiar voice in ym Echo, but no one elses. "Now that wasn't very nice, my brother worked hard on that clip." A feminine laugh came through, I growled in response, "How did you get my personal Echo code??" She laughed again, "You really think we don't know all of your codes? We always know where you are Super Fan." My only response was shocked silence. "Hey? Super Fan? Did you die of shock? That would save me some trouble, would upset Troy though." I raised a brow, "Why? He seemed to enjoy kicking the shit out of my mom." Everyone was getting supisicious of who I was talking to, "Listen Super Fan, I'm gonna need you to stop getting into the fights. Seriously. If you die, it would mean annoying issues for me." I scoffed and growled out, "I will stop fighting when you get the shit kicked out of you like Lilith had." After that I try to ignore her and act like I don't hear an annoying Calypso in my ear. Soon enough, we get near Gigamind and I hear the other one, 'Fucking great.'

Trying to tune them out, I hum and focus on sniping the men dropping in to defend it. Nailing one in the head, I pump my fist, "Fuck yeah. Best gun ever." I hear two chuckles in my ear and groan, "Why are you still in my Echo? Leave. I am ignoring you." Tyreen laughs loud, "Good job ignoring us, now you gotta start over." I hear Troy chuckle, they are basically children. "Why are you even fighting? They seem like they can handle this. You are just a girl." My blue eyes roll, "Even if I was just a girl, I would still fight. They are family now. You always fight for family." Tyreen groans at that, "Of course you are one of those types. Family is most important." She whined the last part.

I kept sniping and ignoring them, I assume Tyreen got bored and left the call as when we finished the fight I only heard one voice. It was humming and working on something metal if I am hearing properly. Maybe his arm, we all made it back to Sanctuary and I went into my room without talking to anyone while he still hummed and sang to himself. I hated myself, but I was mesmirized by it. I took my sweater off once I had my door locked. My yellow Siren tattoos glowed in the dim light, they extended across both my arms and slightly on my back and chest. I relaxed on my bed reading a book about Sirens that Maya had given me a while back. Pulling my stuffed bunny closer, I hummed along to the song that Troy was singing without thinking.

I read my book until I realized the singing had stopped, "How's it going angel? You like my singing?" I blushed and shook my head, "Nope. Not at all. I just know that song.." He smirked and laughed, it almost didn't sound smug or fake like usual. I kinda liked it, "I feel like you did like it, I heard you humming earlier, it was cute." I blushed harder and my tattoos glowed even brighter as I closed my book and glared at nothing in particular, "You have no right to call me cute. You kicked the shit out of my adopted mother." Hearing that made his go silent and still, after a few moments of silence he spoke up. "I'm sorry for that. Ty just gets carried away and we have an image to uphold to reahc our goals. I will leave you alone now though. Goodnight angel." I froze in shock, 'Did Troy Calypso just apologize to me??'

Being friends with renowned fire Hawke has its pros and cons. Cons: that transporting she does make you sick everytime she transports you. Pros: you met Amara.

At first it was hard to talk to her with her being constantly busy, but once the two of you started talking you both hit it off pretty well.

Everytime she came back from a mission she would always go to you to be patched up. (You get to see all those beautiful muscles)

Because she became a close friend to you, you always feared when she was called out to a mission. So you exchanged echo numbers with her so she could let you know she is okay.

n my head, a mini VH is kind of like Ava, but way better, an apprentice who's main purpose is to make sure no one dies too much. Or to curse out people we don't like, either one.

Mini VH follows Zane around having a blast with him, because he treats everything like it's just either a normal Tuesday, or since he's on retirement, he might as well have fun with it. But! Because Mini VH has fun around him, he tries to keep that going when they talk about going back to Sanctuary 3 or something of the sort, he tries to manipulate and distract you (which works quite easily because Zane is like an endless party) by dragging you along with driving and doing crazy stunts while in a tank or attempting to do something that a 'kid' shouldn't do.

Yandere tendencies may start whenever, although it's hard to see the red flags since it likely started early on; maybe when the two of you met, or when you became an apprentice for him.

As the story progresses and he becomes more of a yandere for Mini VH, it's easier to tell, not because he wants Mini VH to stay at Sanctuary 3, but because he wants Mini VH to CONSTANTLY be near him, he treats his Digi-clone like a real person (even if it is meant as a joke in the franchise) and you expect him to not want you around him all the time??? Blasphemous!!

Before kidnapping: Would probably try to trick (In a playful way) you with his Digi-clone, but not have the scheme end up working, simply because the reader has been around him enough to be able to tell the differences.

After Kidnapping: Would absolutely use Digi-Clones to spy on you. If Mini VH escaped ever, Digi-Clone would be an obstacle because one, it will tell him when [clone] has spotted you, and soon you'll be in his loving [NOT really] arms, since he can switch spots with them quickly.

Before Kidnapping: Asks Mini VH which guns he should keep or sell, for their opinion on how to kill bandits and psychos faster and definitely not because he wants to know more about the type of guns you like so he can gift you them. No definitely not.

After Kidnapping: would do the same with the guns, but since Mini VH is upset with him, (And likely always will be) Mini VH will lie or tell him to keep the wrong ones. He doesn't want to upset his kid so he pretends to throw out the ones you said to, but would keep them anyway.

Before Kidnapping: Constantly be near him, He will always want Mini VH, his little kiddo to be near him. It's not worrying that I [Zane] blew up an entire camp looking for them while they were talking with Marcus! It's totally normal to want to keep your kid- Apprentice safe!

After Kidnapping: Surprisingly, CL4PTR4P has a purpose than the franchise's punching bag. Since CL4PTR4P has been shown to not care about 'Enslaving' (Keeping humans in rooms) humans, he enlists CL4PTR4P to help keep you in his room [The room for the Vault hunters]. He keeps CL4PTR4P doing this with promises of helping him create Veronica. If this is after Baylex is on the ship, he also enlists Baylex into keeping you trapped in his room because Zane uses the fact that he got Baylex out of the situation, surely he can help with this one itty bitty thing; Keeping you trapped.

Fl4k would be a big helper for his Kidnapping phase to happen sooner, rather than later. Because Fl4k doesn't know that Kidnapping is viewed as horrible, he spurs on Zane to keep his kid- Apprentice safe while Zane 'hunts'.

(PRE BAYLEX) If you ever made it out of the room on Sanctuary 3 while Zane is out on a mission, (which would be easy because it's CL4PTR4P.) There isn't anywhere for you to go. Lilith has no reaction OR [if Ava fucked things up at this point and Maya is dead] she is happy to turn a blind eye to Zane's obsession because it means Zane has a reason to come back, and Mini VH can't screw anything up like Ava did. (Thanks Ava. /Sarcasm)

(Post Baylex) You ain't making it out of that room. Ain't no way. Baylex has control of the EINTIRE ship and he keeps that room in lockdown mode when Zane isn't there. The only way you would ever get the chance to escape is if Zane was on Sanctuary 3 and well... Zane is there so unless you got out to see him, (which would be the only acceptable thing) Zane will find you and put you back in the room. The telezapper [Map teleport thing] won't work because you need Zane to do it [because when you were an apprentice, you needed to be around him at all times.] And Ellie's Drop pod won't work because Ellie lost Scooter and ain't losing someone else again just because you're 'uncomfortable' being kidnapped by Zane.

Best chance of escaping is either the common route [Pretending and going along with their delusions] or to exploit the father/kid delusion he has. "But, how am I supposed to learn how to take care of myself, if I'm stuck here on Sanctuary?" The mini VH asks, with full intentions of trying to escape. Because of the Father/Kid delusion he has, it would be easiest to exploit that, and would give you the biggest chance of escaping. If Mini VH can get on the surface of [any planet], they have the highest chance of escaping Zane's clutches. If this version of Zane has all of his Special skills, I highly doubt your chances of staying un-kidnapped are high.

The room is cold, and you are often left bored out of your mind since only the vault hunters can open the vault in their rooms, and since he often leaves for a great period of time... he accidentally isolates you and makes it so you rely on him for companionship. Accidentally, because he didn't realize it would work this way of manipulating you, he just didn't think about how it would affect you.
