Yama-Con 2023 sketch: Krieg the Psycho

Sorry for the delay in posting my sketches from YamaCon. I've been under the weather this week. But we're back!  First sketch of the show was really fun. I was handed some bristol board signed by Jason Douglas, who did the voice of Krieg the Psycho in the Borderlands games. I was asked to draw Krieg around the signature.  Jason Douglas did me a favor and wrote a line the character says: "why aren't my fingers in someone's eye sockets right now?!"  Which gave me great direction for what I should do for the sketch.  This piece is pencil, ink, copic markers, color pencils on bristol board.  Thank you to everyone who came and supported my art and comics at YamaCon! I think his fighting skills might make up for his lack of mic skills. The dude's a total powerhouse and if we're taking game stats into account he actually gains more melee damage per level than other characters, although up until level 12 he actually does less damage. I've got faith in my boy I think he could pull off being a wrestler despite having no mic slills

CHISHIYA he wouldn't really mind you being quiet. In fact he most prefers it. As long as you show your enjoyment in other ways; like your body language and facial expressions he wouldn't even think twice.

He'd definitely overhear others on the beach about the subject. Maybe a guy bragging about how loud his girl is in bed.

At first he thought it was different for everyone, but he quickly put the two and two together when he could recall the moments you'd stop yourself from even making the slightest noise.

And when he asks you about it, as nonchalant as he is, he still assures you that it shouldn't be embarrassing.

Ryohei is a new man now. Someone who even his brother and father could not have seen coming. After leaving the borderlands, he’d lost his memories yet his will to live life to the fullest remained. He promised he wouldn’t let his friends’ deaths be in vain. He’ll live for them.

Soon after being discharged from the hospital, Ryohei applied for his first job. In search of a job that not only could sustain him independently but would eventually lead to him to getting his own flat.

To his surprise, he’d found the perfect job. A delivery courier. He’d get to ride around in a big truck but also get some exercise and fresh air here and there, walking from house to house. This was much needed considering he’d kept himself sheltered in his home with most of his time being dedicated to video games.

Today is his first day and it hadn’t been easy. At some points, Ryohei wanted to give up from the misfortunes he’d experienced from being barked at by aggressive dogs to being prank by teenagers. Sometimes, he’d even have to go back to the house he’d previously delivered to because he’d forgotten one or two packages that were meant to be delivered there. Ryohei was no quitter, though. He was determined to get through this first day and all the other days after that should be a piece of cake.

After a strenuous day, Ryohei was happy to see that he had just one home to deliver to and he could finally celebrate. He knocks on the door of the last home, holding the package in one arm and the handheld device in the other.

The door slowly pulls open and Ryohei is put under the spell of the older woman before him. Only in a thin satin kimono highlighting your curvy body and perky nipples underneath, you’re just so beautiful with an aura so alluring that he had to avoid eye contact to keep his knees from buckling. He knows you can sense his nerves because of the way you smirked.

“This all?” You question in a sultry voice as you completed your perfect signature.

“Mhm,” Is all he can say as he put the device back onto his belt. “Have a great evening, ma’m.”

He turns to leave when you reach out for his hand again. His hands are calloused and rough and he could tell by the way you strokes his palms that you liked that. Ryohei would never admit to you that they were calloused from countless hours on end holding his console’s controller.

“You look exhausted and parched…hungry even,” You step closer to him, letting your chest make contact against his. “Congratulations! I wish you luck I know this line of work can feel a little unrewarding at times. But I’m quite glad this means I get to see you again. I’d give my thanks to you all the time. Oh, but…I will be seeing you again…” You bat your eyelashes. “…right?”

“Yep! First day’s are always tough but I’m tougher.”

“Tough boys can work up an appetite,” You pick up a portion of the meal between your fingers, holding it up to him.

He understands that you are trying to feed him, opening his mouth and accepting it. You don’t pull your fingers away as you force one index finger deeper into his mouth for him to suckle on the sweet and savory sauce.

He looks so damn gorgeous with his pretty lips closed around your finger with no choice but to do what he can to please you. His skillful tongue swirls around before you pull away with a wet pop. ARTHUR MORGAN IS CHALLENGED

Previously, Arthur Morgan (Red Dead Redemption 2) failed to win the King of the Ring tournament by being eliminated by Danny Phantom (Nickelodeon). It was a tough loss, but Arthur accepted his defeat. Still, Morgan couldn’t help but feel annoyed when he bumped into Handsome Jack (Borderlands), who immediately taunted him for being eliminated. Handsome Jack tells Morgan that if he were in the tournament, he would’ve dominated easily and that Morgan is clearly losing his touch.

Arthur was going to ignore Handsome Jack…until Handsome Jack made the claim that it was Arthur’s training that led to Jack Marston (Red Dead Redemption) fumbling his chance to become ABW United States Champion. Handsome Jack says that “a loser shouldn’t be training others as the people they train will only know how to lose”. Arthur was ready to deck Handsome Jack…but then opted to take this fight to the ring.
