My name's Wyloh (Said 'Willow') and I'm the creator of UnderWatcher

The name's Wyloh, with the 'Y' said like an 'I' (So "Willow" with extra steps basically).

I've been in the Undertale Fandom since around 2020, but only as of the date this post was made (January 1st 2025) have I actually been a creator within said Fandom.

In my spare time I like to play video games like Minecraft, Roblox (Creatures of Sonaria & Kaiju Universe being the main ones), Undertale (obviously), Hollow Knight, Cult of the Lamb, Portal 1 & 2, and a bunch of others

I also like to read both books/fanfic & comics, listen to all sorts of music (particularly rock), and occasionally do some extreme sports like diving, sky diving, and white water rafting as well. I've also got an interest in Psychology and how the human mind / human behaviour works, so if you've got any fun facts about that, feel free to share 'em with me

Introduction (The Beginning)

UnderWatcher is an Undertale AU whose official creation is on January 1st, 2025 (aka, the day this was all created)

The story of UnderWatcher goes as follows:

Long ago, two races ruled over Gaia: HUMANS and MONSTERS.

One day, war broke out between the two races.

After a long battle, a truce was met.

Humans would rule over Gaia's Surface, while Monsters would claim her Underground.

And so, the Monsters willingly sealed themselves off from the surface with a magical barrier.

Many Years later...

MT Oíkos. 1378

Legends say that those who seek out the Monsters never return.

While Myths say that Monsters never existed.

Regardless of Legend or Legacy, one thing stands true.

History is being forgotten.

There are many differences between this AU and a lot of other AUs out there, but if I explained every single one of them then I'd spoil the whole story, so here's the main points I believe are relevant to know:

Monsters were not forced Underground by humans, but chose to live underground away from them

Monsters can pass through the barrier at will, but humans cannot

Resetting is NOT a determination trait ability

This AU pulls inspiration from the following: Underfell, Dancetale, Xtale, Underverse, ATLA, Greek Mythology, Norse Mythology, Celtic Mythology, and others I currently can't remember

This AU has been through a lot long before it's publication and has gone through a total of 3 redesigns, with the most recent version being the third. This third rendition is what changed UnderWatcher from "Undertale with minor character redesigns 1 majorly changed character (take a wild guess as to which character I'm talking about)" to "An Undertale AU with a unique twist" or at least as unique as an Undertale AU can get X)

I originally intended for UnderWatcher to be a comic series, but I sadly don't have the artistic talent to draw comics for a series of them, nor the patience to learn how to draw well enough to make said comics a reality. So AO3 it is!

2025, Ideas, Hopes, Dreams, Whatever The Fuck: A Highschooler’s Fourteenth Rant

Happy New Year, I guess.

I got a Passion Pit CD and I’m real fucking happy about that, so huzzah!

Now, it’s 2025, and although I’m not on TikTok much, I have seen the whole “2025 is the new 2020” and I’m all here for it. I wasn’t on TikTok in 2020, but I was on other parts of the internet and life was great so huge yes on that.

I kind of get mildly depressed around winter, and the new year especially, I don’t know why but it’s always happened. My family goes to my (not biologically related) uncle’s mom’s house for New Year’s, and we held the party here at my house instead of going over to their house, which was odd but I spent the majority of the party in my room watching gameplay of South Park SoT (fuckin love SoT man, the fanart and AU’s go hard).

But..yep. It’s, uh…. It’s 2025. -________-

Yeah not much to say in that department.

NOW.

I have an idea, you see, I have an IDEA. I’m not animation expert but I really want to learn. I find tweened animation really aesthetically pleasing if you do it right (I’m talking Alight Motion type tweened. I’m talking early Eddsworld, not fucking Rocky Raccoon). And I want to learn how to tween like ver0nica985 on TikTok if you understand.

I have an idea (slightly inspired by best show ever South Park) with a few OC’s of mine because yes I make those, that will be a bit of a commentary on TikTok addiction, and the abbreviations people (ex: idc, bc, alr, ts, pmo; ESPECIALLY THE “pmo.” THING).

So four boys currently named Trevor, Ian, Joel, and Henry are friends and Henry just turned 14 got access to TikTok for his birthday, and he’s gotten obsessed. The plot kind of follows that and excessive B plot because I love crazy wacky shit that makes so damn sense. I want to voice act and animate an entire short film about that with the boys, as just a creative thing to do and get out on the internet, as well as to heavily make fun of people who use TikTok as their life support (THAT ONE FRIEND OF MINE) and use abbreviations way to damned much (LOOKING AT YOU).

My one issue is that I need to learn animation, and the voice acting would be shit. But it’d be fun so I really don’t fucking care about that! My only *real* issue is that it might blow up and if it does people might think it’s a Pilot or something. Which, no, it’s not a pilot for anything, it was a little project I did.

Because, although it would be pretty cool to have a webtoon (like a web cartoon, that’s what they’re fucking called you dumbass bitch) or just a show of my own, my interests rely more in web comics. I want to make my own webcomics, shit like Homestuck, One Wheat Mark, that kind of stuff I’m super inspired by. I know I probably wouldn’t explode in popularity if I made the little short film thing, but I wouldn’t necessarily care if I did or didn’t.

Yeah, one of my dreams is to be famous, is for my *work* to be famous. Is that greedy, though? It’s strange. I want to be famous, I don’t care about why or of any riches or anything, I just want people to know I existed. I want to die with my name known. I want thousands of hundreds of thousands of MILLIONS of people to know Dave [my last name] existed.

But more than that, I want people to know my characters and the work I’ve created and made. I want to see my own fanbase of fictional people I made. I want this, but I’ll be happy in life even if I don’t get it. I’m content either way, but when I go to bed at night, I’m thinking of it. And I’m dreaming of it too. Of being fuckin famous, yo.

First rant of 2025, school starts Monday, can’t wait for summer. XD
