Amorphis' gig on last Thursday at Pakkahuone (Tampere, Finland) was amazing! They played Brother and Sister & My Name Is Night for the first time live, it was beautiful as they're among my favourites from the latest albums, but never thought they would be played live. Also the semi-acoustic version of My Kantele, Amongst Stars, The Wolf and Wrong Direction were the other highlights for me.

There was also funny band introduction, where all the band members played little solos (Olli-Pekka had a funky bass solo, and Santeri played a little snippet from Deep Purple-song Perfect Strangers, followed by more humorous snippet of the synth melody of the legendary Finnish ice cream-truck :D), with Tomi's jokes about their bandmates.

One of the best Amo-gigs I have seen so far!

kuli: sasha (dj), maffhew (singer to which he refutes and insist hes a hype man), and himself as director/manager because hes bad rhythmically

ekky: maffhew (hype man/lead singer), benny and reino (guitar and drums), forsy (pure eyecandy quite literally just there to take his shirt off 😭😭)

swaggy and benny: sasha (dj), swaggy (singer/guitarist), benny (guitarist), ekky and gadjo (no other role than to look like "bandguys")

reino: also finns lmao (popular choice)

sasha: himself as dj, and swaggy (singer, his karaoke insistence proceeds him)

roddy: forsy (guitar), benny (drums), himself (no role whatsoever lol), reino (second guitar) and sasha (cymbals, girl what kinda band 😭)

mikksy: sasha (dj) just sasha no one else just him actually :)

BONUS: sasha finally revealed his dj name to which last time he staunchly refused to do so and its DJ Layz!!!!

A few words about behaviour

The Cable Factory is the workplace of around 900 people daily. If they all used the floors as bathrooms and the hallways to store empty bottles, the smell and sight would be quite the thing.

So we ask you to remember, that: - bathrooms can be found the C-stairways basement entryway - you can get money from empty bottles at stores - all the laws that apply on the ground also apply in the basement - there is a recording securitycamera system in place in the building - all wrongdoings and blunders will be reported to the police and if the space in question is an NAK band space to them also - the city has approximately 200 bands without trainingrooms, who would gladly rent the space of a band that was kicked out.
