The DCAs arms/hands keep breaking because of how much they move and do silly acrobatics, pairing that with some leftover water+fire damage, it is one of the things that Y/N has to repair often;

New compatible parts are hard to find + expensive (considering how old the DCAs model is), so Y/N normally has to go to old faztech electronic trash dumps to find something that might work, which is usually pieces of other similar-looking Attendants from some old FAZCO animatronic line. You really hope sun and moon don't know about this, or else things will get awkward

Man I abruptly remembered that I have NOT drawn FK!Nuzi in like. Literally forever. Last thing I drew was the illustration for chapter 16 that I haven't posted yet. But like. There's still so much story to go before N and Uzi have ANYTHING vaguely romantic going on. So idk if I'd count most of my Finders Keepers art as ship art really? Definitely none of the chapter art has been.

Tldr the people following me for Murder Drones haven't been fed recently and I needed to change that. And also draw Crowzi feeling invincible. Because she deserves it considering how much of this story she's gonna spend being self-conscious (we love a journey)

He’s apart of the nomadic group that Love was apart of before she was kicked out. They were hooking up but when she realized she was pregnant things ✨got too real✨ for him, and then shit went sideways for her re: being able to stay in the group. I kinda hinted just that she was abandoned after the death of one of the other members, and the ex did not go with her.

He’s still alive and kicking and traveling with the rest of the group Love was apart of. Assuming John doesn’t kill him first 🤪

Listen I love fankids and I love character design! Unfortunately I have no plans of making any fankids for these two in actual Finders Keepers canon because like...literally no way to do it they're too different biologically. So I adapted some instead! These are the only people I follow with fankids I think, but it's enough to make a decent spectrum as far as which parent they pull from. A few colors here n there have been adjusted just to make them look more related to my versions (super vibrant stuff makes them look like sparkledogs with how my designs work aksdjfhaskhf sorry Nyx specifically ily I promise).

“Where are you going?! Don’t go back there! He didn’t… He didn’t mean to abandon you!”

Tom’s eyes grew cold once more, but his arms were still around Albus’s shoulders, and that how the redhead knew even if Tom didn’t need him, he wanted him here still.

“It’s not your business, Alfritt.”

“My father was a terrible man, Tom. He was violent and angry and he didn’t like me much but I still would give anything for him not to be dead!”

Tom crouched down beside him and grabbed his face between his two hands, their forehead touching.

“You’re born with everything I desire and admire. Powerful magic and superior intelligence and yet, you’re weak. A weak, delicate thing that can only survive if someone is taking care of it. You would not have survived one second at Wool, among those Muggles that you hate so much.”

It was delivered with a cold matter-of-fact tone of voice, but Albus knew Tom’s mannerisms and expressions by heart. Those were words aimed to hurt. A weapon. And it did, hurt. 

“You are just like him, Albus replied wildly, tears in his eyes. “You attack with cruel words and action every time you feel something, anything. Every time you think you are losing control.”

He didn't need to specify who this He was, they both knew. Tom's hands tightened painfully on his face and his eyes hardened, opaque and cold as those of a wild animal. Albus didn’t fear him anymore. Somehow, after the Room, he knew, deep down that Tom would never harm him physically. He would try to crush his heart,his soul, but not his body. Never his body.

“I’m nothing like him.” the dark-haired teenager finally growled, between clenched teeth.

“How does that mirror treat you?”

“How about you?!”

“Well at least I have an excuse, don’t I?”

“Stay here. Don’t make me hurt you.”

ALRIGHT, I was looking thru some of my writings and I forgot I never explained in my "Never Love an Anchor" fic about this section in particular.

I specifically mean the parts in capitals because they actually DO serve a deeper meaning than just being there ominously. But also this section itself has just... so much thought put into it actually.

In the fic (in the moment I've shown), with surface-level understanding, it's shown that Kira was remembering back to the moment when Quirrel promised her he'll come back to her after leaving (the ones in italic). It's when she starts spiraling down, asking herself how long he'll be gone since she can't take being alone anymore (not when everyone else she loved was gone as well).

And it's such a double-edged sword because in the ACTUAL PRESENT conversation they're having (the ones not in italic), she's actually asking him how long he was going to rest in Blue Lake, not how long he'll be gone. But it plays out like it's the same thing (which kinda is) so it HURTS twice as bad for Kira.

Like, here's (technically) Quirrel's POV to how this conversation draws out:

This is what he sees and hears only. This is the only thing he's aware of, and he's only answering for what's being asked of him.

But in KIRA's POV, it draws out like this:

It sounds like this in her head, though she's also painfully aware of what's happening in the present.

Like I said, it's a double-edged sword because these questions are what she'd been asking herself all this time with no clear answer from him. And with their present conversation, it feels as though this is the answers he's giving her for it.

It's answers she's been trying to acquire for so long, even if they weren't the words she wanted to hear.

Now... regarding the parts in full caps: these only exist in the same memories that Kira is recalling. It serves as the Radiance talking (she talks in full caps). It serves as those moments to when the Radiance was slowly trying to infect Kira.

Because in those memories- when Kira was left wondering when Quirrel was going to come back, it left her weak and vulnerable to be infected by the Radiance. It's when the Radiance tried manipulating Kira, acting like she was on her side and understood her pain, only to gaslight her into thinking that the Scholar (her lover) was going to be gone forever.

(It's basically how she tried infecting Kira. Trying to convince her that all her loved ones have left her, and that SHE'LL be the one to never leave her.)

Kira almost believed that, because of course- in the present (and actual moment), she's no longer infected. And these are only memories she's recalling back to.

Now, for the last sentence: "It was HERS. It always was." This actually goes both ways for Kira AND the Radiance.

It was Kira's fault for being "left behind" by Quirrel because she chose NOT to go with him (for reasons I won't disclose for now). I actually even mentioned this in the fic in another section beforehand.

It was also the Radiance's fault because she gaslit Kira into thinking that Quirrel didn't care for her and was going to leave her forever (which, the latter is partially true but anyway...). It was also the Radiance's fault bc this all wouldn't happen if she didn't go and spread the Infection.
