Help me avoid debt

Ok so me and my mom have been in financial struggle for a while due to many factors and today I woke up in the negatives due to us not having enough to do two payments that were due today.

Currently, no longer in the negatives due to asking for loans from friends. So firstly I want to pay them back then after that any money I get will be untouched and staying in my bank as emergency money.

I will not be using it for anything BUT bill payments if we happen to be short again.

There's a set goal for 3k as that is just around at least what I want to keep in my bank as a fund buffer

But honestly after paying back my friends I'd want 1k at the very least if nothing else.

If you send me proof of donation ill be happy to draw you literally anything you want. Examples of my art below.

Just thinking about the financial hits the 118 have taken this year:

- failed cruise

- lost luggage because of said cruise (includes fancy dresses, jewellery, bobby’s one suit and athena’s toothbrush)

- helicopter fuel(?)

- eddie’s medical bill

- buck’s apartment bills maybe?

- tommy’s incorrect coffee (coffee’s expensive these days)

- henren expanding their family (we love this for them but again children are expensive these days)

- the bachelor party

- the bachelor party aftermath

- the wedding (catering, venue, photography etc)

- chimney’s carjacking

- chimney’s phone

- chimney’s medical bills

- eddie dating two women simultaneously (surely makes a dent in the monthly budget)

- bobby’s carjacking

- bobby’s medical bills

- potentially athena and bobby’s entire house?!

- therapy bills (frank can afford to retire because of the firefam)

And I’m sure they aren’t done! I hope they’ve all got really good insurance because this is so much worse than usual.

Marketing is in many ways the biggest translation of my skills and interests to a job that actually makes money. However I hate corporations and advertising is a blight upon the world and I spend my days at best making the CEO rich while contributing nothing else to society

Man. I just get so actually legitimately sad each time I remember that toh ended and that we live in the post-toh world. Like it really is over.

Ms Dana Terrace has said that she'd like to do more given the chance (and after some quality time off of bigger projects, just to chill), but as far as we know, it's the end.

Heck, we barely got anything after the final episode, no books, no special merch, no dedicated little chibi shorts, nothing really, aside from the, thankfully fun, get-togethers of the cast and crew!

Idk. Ah well actually nah, I do know, that this show just meant an enormous lot to me. Incredibly huge, the kind that you can't break away from and wouldn't want to anyway. The kind that feels like, man, where would I be without it.

wild that I just saw a poll about the watcher situation asking what people expect their response to be and the option sweeping was “they won’t respond to it”. like. that would be absolutely insane. maybe a lot of people have become jaded by big corporate entities ignoring issues as if theyre just not happening (understandable) but watcher Very Literally cant afford to not acknowledge the situation. like yeah this was a very corporate-adjacent, out of touch choice they just made but they're still, in the scheme of things, Quite small. completely ignoring the backlash could/would very likely ruin their careers and burn everything they've worked for and I just don’t think that’s realistic

Me over here actually loving how Leroux!Raoul started out as presumptuous and stuck in his privileged mindset and self-focused, because LOOK at where the man ends up? Sure, vibes-wise I usually prefer the musical (POTO only) version, but Raoul’s concern and risks for Christine in the end have so much more arc and growth to them with that Leroux starting point! Never mind Raoul’s general heightened fear and victimhood in the book making his acts of bravery feel more significant.

And his efforts don’t end in the lair in the book, oh no. Leroux makes it clear Raoul was suspected in his brother’s death and ran away with Christine AND Mamma Valerius into obscurity in Scandinavia (suggested Norway, perhaps even Sweden?). And that wasn’t fully a choice given that murder suspicion, sure, but the guy still had sisters and maybe aunts he was presumably close to (he lost his mom at birth and dad at twelve, his extended family WAS family and that’s not even touching on Erik costing him his stand-in-father of a brother). And he runs off to a foreign country, abandons his remaining family and country and connections and who knows how much of his resources to be with Christine, while also securing HER remaining semblance of family? It’s a happily ever after, yes, but it is just as much an act of love as going after Christine in the first place.
