Ok, so what's the procedure of getting your wisdom teeth out? Why all the fuss?

I mean, I’m no dentist but when I got it done it was an extremely painful procedure that took me 3 weeks to be able to eat normally. I also was high as a kite for it bc I had laughing gas and was unable to drive myself home sooooooooo……

I dunno it’s different for everyone though. My husband passed on laughing gas or being put to sleep, and opted for being numbed and also opted out of painkillers 😂 however, I felt like with a dental procedure where they extract impacted teeth, maybe a quiet day at home with no kids and a chauffeur (me!!!) would be a good decision.

Dan is getting wisdom teeth out this morning and they called him a full half hour after he was supposed to be there (after they switched his appt to an earlier time) and they call his name and he says “can I go to the bathroom first” like what you’re been sitting here for 30 minutes??????!???

Lolololol and then his mom texts asking if they can come over today?!?!? No ma’am the kids are not even here (they’re with my mom because ya know she’s the grandma that helps. I thought it would be easier to not have them home during this day) and your son is literally getting 2 teeth ripped out of gums as an anxious/autistic 41 year old because you as the mother did not advocate for him to get them all out as a teen!!!

Also an older gentleman and his wife are playing videos on their phone in the waiting room and the one sounded like porn. 👍🏼

Another Disney trip in the books - logistically this was a hard one. It felt too short (4 park days) and I think my expectations were too high. We did 2 character breakfasts - the first one (chef mickeys @ the contemporary) was amazing and the second one (Ohana at Polynesian) was just okay. The hotel (Polynesian!) was really nice!!! #deluxeforlife. BUT I still like the grand flo better overall HOWEVER you can watch fireworks from the pool at Polynesian which was so fun. This time around the character interactions were really really good. They saw a few we’ve never seen before and had some characters approach them in the wild (usually you have to wait in line/get lucky if they’re out walking).

Gavin has gotten really into pin trading and I think I spent a billion dollars on sets so he could trade a lot. Cecilia doesn’t necessarily understand it and was trade just to trade since Gavin was - a few I was like ARE YOU SURE lolololol we also saw two popular pin trading tik tokers and talked to the one for a minute which Gavin thinks is the coolest thing on the planet, so I’m glad he had a good experience with pin trading.

Also it was 5000 degrees and I wanted to die 😂
