⏳ - How long have you known about this kin?

Around two months now, I think?

❔ - How did you figure out you kinned this character?

I was learning about Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet in my English class, and we had to work in groups and perform three scenes of our choosing.

One of the scenes my group chose is Act 3, Scene 1, and I was originally cast as the Capulet servant that accompanies Tybalt alongside Petruchio (whom we nicknamed 'NPC' - Non Petruchio Character), and one of my friends was cast as Mercutio. Then, I discovered my source (an adaptaion of the play) and all of a sudden I just felt this very strong need to play Mercutio in the scene. Like, REALLY strong. I just HAD to be Mercutio. It was like if I wasn't seen as Mercutio, everything felt deeply wrong.

I asked my friend if she would like to swap roles with me, because she's not much of a fan of theatre and acting and such. She was happy and agreed, and we swapped roles, and the MOMENT that happened it was like the stars aligned and everything in the universe was right. I'm not even exaggerating that is the closest description to how I felt.

I thought what I felt I was just me being a jealous prick, and then I began considering if maybe it's actually because I'm Mercutio in a fictionkin way. Long story sort of not very short, I confirmed it.

I don't have many clear memories, but I do have a very vague memory of sitting under a tree with Benvolio.

Definitely my death, for sure.

Some sort of mix between spiritual and psychological.

Pretty much everything except the stuff I meantion in the next question.

Mostly things that aren't mentioned in source. For example, the brother I have in the original play is completely nonexistent in my canon. He doesn't show up and is not mentioned in source, and I'm pretty sure most of the fandom headcanons that he exists.

I look exactly like me in the 2010 cast, played by John Eyzen.

👕 - What sort of clothing do you associate with this kin?

Pretty much anything purple or with purple on it. I don't really care if it's masculine or feminine or the specific shade of purple.

Pretty much just all the songs I sing in source.

Not really, and I never tried to.

I don't have any canonmates, and I'm a little scared to try to find them. What if later in life I de-confirm this kintype and disappoint them? What if I remember my memories incorrectly and that prevents me from finding the right canonmates?

I definitely do want to find SOURCEmates, though. It's just finding canonmates that feels a bit daunting.

As Cro, this one shirt I got- Plain vwhite undershirt i use as a normal shirt. My leather jacket. Playing guitar. As Rui, most of the nerd stuff I'm into I vwas into back then, so it reminds me of then. The game "vwarhammer 40k", for instance. (I main tyranids!) I had a little bit of a connection to vwizard stuff as both Cronus and Rui, but novwadays they make me think a lot more of being Rui.

🐢 - do you experience shifts? Of yes, how do they look like?

Kind of? I 'vwe been in a Cronus "perma-shift" for almost a vwhole year novw. I'm not evwen really sure if I'm cronus-kin or a fableling. There vwas a personality and mindset change in a vway I don't got in my Rui shifts. In my Rui shifts, I just think a lot more about vwhat it vwas like back then and miss my friends and cat.

Ah, it came as a shock to me.

I was relatively new to being fictionkin (i was having a fischl kinshift at the time). I wanted to make the theme of my discord profile to be jesterkasa.

and what do you know? A connection sparked.

I had a small affinity with tsukasa for quite some time, i never thought i’d be a fictionkin of him! A variant, anyway.

I started trying to remember my life, and I’m in the midst of doing that now! Hopefully, all of it will come together!!

🐢- Yes. They're mostly mental. I'll feel wayyy more like Penelope when I'm shifted. There are moments with lapses in thought where I'll just think something like 'oh, I gotta go back to my loom-' or something along those lines before I realize.

🐛- Usually, I LOVE them! But the NSFW ones are uncomfortable 😔

🌵- I looked like one of the source depictions, yes. There's a lot of up-for-interperitation design in Epic, but I match one of the designs.

🥀- ONLY if it's my husband!!! 😡😡😡 I would NEVER have chosen another, hence why I spent YEARS weaving only to unravel it again. So I could buy my Ody some time, bc I would NOT marry anyone else.

🦕- Yes, I had loved ones! My son and my husband mainly come to mind, but before the war Polites and Eurylochus were good family friends (It sucks what happened to them 😔) and Ctimene was there for me quite a bit until her mother died. She sort of faded out after that, but I don't blame her.

17. Is there a memory you wish you didn’t have?

That's actually kind of a hard one because like then, I tend to bury memories I wish I didn't have.

The most painful memory was watching the few remaining surviving Galliferans try to make it on Earth. Although a version of this was made infamous by a cult and ex-friends of mine, it is loosely based off of a program that I heard about but was not directly involved with. Near the end of the time war when everyone realized that there was no winning, one person decided to try to get as many Gallifreyans off-planet as possible as the last ditch effort to not go extinct. In most reiterations, UNIT actually helped a lot. They ended up in England...Somehow. There weren't a whole lot of people, so they just disguised it as a boarding school and a private community.

Watching all of that go down and knowing that it was just delaying the inevitable and a Band-Aid on a much bigger problem was not my favorite thing. I did not get directly involved because the doctor did not get directly involved. I did get News from it as I stayed in touch with my sibling TARDISes who were involved.
