I love how he just swaps over to Amatus without any explanation, like, he knows he's fucked but he's not ready to tell the Inquisitor he's falling for him so out comes an endearment the Inquisitor probably doesn't know the exact meaning for. He can call him that, and not let all his walls down just yet.

I wonder if it's also a reclamation thing, like, he says in his homeland, two men together isn't 'forbidden' per say but it's just seen as fun, not a commitment. So he's calling the Inquisitor a pet name out of a bit of spite, bit of pride. He's claiming this word for them, because despite what others think, this is the person he wants to call that, and yes, he's another man.

i can’t sleep! i need to wake up in a little less than 6 hours to go catch a coach to a music festival! Thursday to Sunday!! i’m sooo anxious- i have not been to a music festival since before covid. so 5 years!

i am going to list everything i have packed under the cut
