While there were plenty of games at the carnivals at Sunnyside, Fend couldn’t remember seeing anyone run a non game related booth. As a result, he eagerly decided to open up his own booth at the carnival: a build your own teddy bear booth. He figured it’d be a fun way to welcome the carnival-goers into his world, as well as make sure that they could have some cute, huggable, forever friends. After making sure that everything was set up, he flipped the sign on the booth to open. “Hi!” He called out upon seeing someone nearby. “Would you like to make a teddy bear?”

Although Fend had a legitimate reason, he couldn’t help but feel like a deer caught in headlights at the question. After all, it was three in the morning. “Um...I have a shift in an hour and was craving Hot Pockets?” It wasn’t a lie, considering he’d gotten a wacky shift that he was unable to trade. But he wouldn’t put it past Thackery to wonder, since he was known for cooking at odd hours. “Sorry, did I wake you?”

While he’d technically learned his lesson from the last time he’d eaten a large amount of sweets, Fend couldn’t help but want to try everything that the ball had to offer food wise. Everything looked so delicious; he’d never seen so many tasty desserts in one place before. But he had a feeling that even if he went slow, his stomach would not agree with the plan. However, a thought occurred to him upon seeing a couple further up in line put food on their plates. Dessert was always better when shared, especially when at a party like this. Turning around to the person behind him, Fend shot him a friendly smile. “Would you wanna try all of the desserts with me? I haven’t had any of them before. And if you haven’t had any of them before, I figure it could be fun!”

Although Fend found himself on the dance floor more often than off, he was determined to talk to as many people as he could when not dancing. He was curious as to what other people were up to: what they thought of the food, if they were enjoying the atmosphere, and if they’d gotten a chance to dance yet. And if not, he was up for helping change that. Which was why when he spotted someone sitting on the sidelines, he excitedly made his way over to her. Sitting down at the table, a smile made its way onto his face. “Hi!” He greeted brightly. “Are you having a fun time?” He sincerely hoped that she was.

“So…I know it doesn’t exactly match, but what do you think?” Fend asked as he began tying his shoes. Usually he would’ve gone for a more subtle look, but when he’d come across the suit, it had practically screamed ‘pick me’ at him, reminding him of how he used to look. The shoes, socks, and mask had also practically done the same thing. “Do I look ready to party?” He asked, motioning to his colorful ensemble. “Because I think you look ready to party!”

“Really?” Fend asked, his eyebrows raising as he shifted his arm so she could snuggle in further. Considering how she acted when they cuddled, Fend had always pegged Autumn as someone who enjoyed physical contact. However, even if she wasn’t big on it in general, he was glad that she enjoyed it when with him. Leaning his head against hers, he felt a smile spread across his lips, as well as the accompanying blush that followed. “Being here with you is one of my favorite things too.” It meant the world to him to see her happy. When the mention of kisses met his ears, Fend let out a soft chuckle. “One bunch of kisses, coming right up!” He exclaimed as he gently laid a kiss on Autumn’s nose. He then proceeded to plant kisses on her forehead, cheeks, jaw, and then finally pressed a kiss to her lips.

“Well,” Fend started off excitedly, “we had a lot of guests in Slinky Dog’s queue, so I had to help make sure everyone kept up with the party in front of them and stood side by side. That was pretty fun, but it also got a bit hectic!” Packing could be fun, but sometimes it got to be a bit repetitive. And he couldn’t exactly hold long conversations with anyone while packing, since he was only in one section of the queue. “How was your day?”

“Sure, I’d love to hear it!” He said, a soft smile coming onto his face. Fend had thought of putting on some music or playing a video on youtube to help him fall asleep. But he felt that wouldn’t work, due to the proximity of the phone, as well as the instruments or tracks backing the vocals. Plus it would probably drain his battery, and he needed his phone to be fully charged for the next day, since his shift was going to be a long one. Looking up at Melody, he added, “And I think it just might.”
