🥣 anons back! (Did I submit an ask for both of your accounts? Maybe.) SO we all know that scene where Sky is playing his harp because he misses Zelda, so assuming he would do the same for reader when he misses them, how would the rest of the boys cope with missing their dear, sweet reader?

Okay okay okay— Sky with the harp. Playing songs that his partner always used to request from him. Songs that they love. Yes. 100%.

Four, I think, would hold onto something physical of his partner’s. Keeping a little trinket of some sort that they made for him, or wrote, or drew. Loves reading it every night if it’s a writing, or memorising every detail of it if it’s a drawing. If it’s a physical trinket, he will 100% hold it in his sleep. He once physically slapped Wars when the captain tried to take it, and since then, no one has gone anywhere near his bag.

Time, I think, would pick flowers. No one ever remarks on it, nor do they ever try to ask him what he’s doing. They tried, once, but never managed to will up the courage to do it when they saw the sad look in his eyes. When his longing for his partner is really bad, he will carry the flower as they walk, and will literally get sad if he loses it. Then, proceeds to find another one. It’s the only time they ever really see him as the child hero he once was, because the way he picks flowers, looking for them even, is just so soft and small that they often find it hard to believe that this is their Old Man.

Legend wouldn’t do much, I think. At least, not so obviously. He strikes me as the kind to just stare up at the sky, or over the land, or out across the sea. Just staring out, hoping that, in whatever timeline his partner was in or where he’d left them, that they were looking out over the same view as he was. He hates the feeling of missing people, thanks to Koholint, but the feeling of missing his partner back home is an oddly nostalgic, sweet feeling. If the day is particularly bad, he’ll draw in the dirt, or mud, or sand.

Twilight, in my mind, would try to just distract himself in nature. In whatever way he can. Though, if it’s dark, he will find or make a source of light. Man cannot be in the dark if he’s missing his partner, because it sends his mind down a spiralling path of whether or not he’ll see them again. It only got worse after he’d gotten wounded by the Shadow. Most days/nights when he misses his partner, he will stare into the light, or look up at the sky.

Hyrule, when he misses his partner, will make an attempt to be as close to any member of the group as he can. Unlike the others, he likes the comfort of being near another person, and finding comfort in their company. He won’t be clingy or anything like that, but he will remain close to someone. His favourites to be around are Wild and Four, surprisingly enough, when he misses his partner. He finds joy in being able to talk and laugh with them, to somewhat fill the void of his partner’s absence from his side.

Wind, I think, would clutch something on his own person. Either his sister’s telescope, or maybe the fairy pendant, or even just twisting his hands. It doesn’t help much, but if he tries hard enough, he can kinda imagine that it’s his partner’s hand he’s holding, or maybe his partner’s curious examination of his things. He relies mostly on his thoughts and memories to soothe his longing, though the things that helps most is to just sit on the beach, under the sun, if they’re close enough to one for him to be able to do so.

Warriors’ habits when he misses his partner, are to forgo maintaining himself. It’s a jarring and odd sight for the rest of the boys, for sure, when the day or days come when Wars walks around with his hair disheveled from sleep, or his shirt untucked, or wearing his scarf lopsided or haphazardly. It was so weird the first time. But as it happens a bit more often, he actually willingly explains that it is because he misses his partner. That also surprises them, and understandably so. He explains that his partner would oftentimes help him in the morning, when he was too tired to do so himself. Combing his hair back, or fixing his collar, or adjusting his scarf. No one says anything more on the matter…though sometimes they’ll help him by fixing his scarf, or collar for him. They leave the hair, though.

Finally, as for when Wild misses his partner, he will be, on those particular days, calm. If he’s reckless and headstrong with his brothers, then he’s even worse with his partner back home. Though when he finds that he misses them, he will take it back a level, or three. Because he wants to make sure, more so on those days than on any other, that he can make it back to them alive. Or, when it’s already a calm day, he’ll make their favourite food for dinner. Or a special dessert.

There are essentially no rules, this isn’t inktober and there’s no pressure, feel also free to make things for it in advance rather than day to day. This is a ship week, but feel free to depict them in a platonic or queerplatonic way rather than romantic as well! thinking about d-class in the scp foundation. you’re doomed from the beginning. no amount of intellect or skill will help you in the face of world-ending horrors, and the people around you who do know what they’re doing won’t care to save you unless it benefits them. you’re treated as expendable, even less of a person than a canary in the coal mine. and because of what? because you did something—something unforgivable, presumably. whether or not you had a good reason, if you regretted it or if you’d do it all over again if you got the chance, the foundation doesn’t care, it offered you a second chance all the same. you were going to die anyways, you thought, might as well take a chance. you should have known there were fates worse than death.

since taking that deal, you’ve had your name stolen from you. probably not in the anomalous sense unless you’re one of the unlucky ones, but they’ve replaced it with a serial number that’s long, unwieldy, and dehumanizing. it’s easier for them to condemn you to horrors beyond imagination if they never have to know your name, if they never have to acknowledge that you are (were?) a human being with thoughts and feelings. oftentimes the things these people do in the name of the “greater good” are even worse than whatever you did to get in this situation in the first place, but that never stops them from calling themselves humanity’s saviors while using you as a lab rat. they will stop at nothing to secure, contain, protect, and you will be caught in the crossfire.

i saw your post explaining therians v furries v etc, i am attempting to uncover what exactly i am ... experiencing? ig ? and that post was very helpful ! i do have a question tho, i was wondering how you Know you're therian and how you know like which animal it is or i that's even a thing you can be sure about? also if i'm ever saying something wrong feel so free to correct me i am . not v knowledgable about this.

I’m glad my post was able to help out a little! Gonna try to answer your questions in as clear of a way as I can, but if anyone else has other insights please comment them!

Knowing whether or not you are a therian is a super individual experience and is pretty different for everyone, so my advice is purely from my own experiences. For me it was more of finding the therian label and choosing to identify with it. outlining and breaking down all my nonhuman feelings and experiences throughout my life is ultimately what made me feel comfortable identifying as a therian/nonhuman. Things like wishing I was an animal throughout my entire childhood and then continuing to have that feeling after the “appropriate” ages, how heavily I’ve always projected myself onto nonhuman characters in media like bolt, spirit, the wings of fire dragons, etc etc. along with the general experience of not relating to humans and feeling more of a kinship (lol) with the animals and pets in my life.

I’d say for a good portion of therians it can take a long time to figure out what animal(s) you are. It takes a lot of introspection into what you are experiencing to find yourself.

Meditation can often help folks be guided in the right direction, but I personally what helped me was keeping note of shifts/feelings I had in order to narrow down what critters I might be. Usually figuring out what you are connecting with (like what sorts of body parts and sensations do you experience during phantom shifts if you have them? What habitats + foods do you feel drawn to? What sort of instincts do you feel if you have instinctual urges?) and writing all of this down together can help you find a clearer direction or see similarities to animals.

AND do lots of research! Look into a wide variety of animals. Canines, felines, bovines, fish, bugs, amphibians, avians, etc! There’s so many animals out there, you may be feeling a strong draw towards one you may have never heard of.

The wild hunt

The Wild Hunt or also known as Wotans Hunt is a legend or folk tale that occurs in several European regions.

In other words, it is a large group of ghosts, gods and other demons that move thunderously and loudly across the sky. Depending on the legend and region, watching the wild hunt could be interpreted differently, but often as a bad omen that predicted catastrophes, wars, barren harvests and even death. It has often been assumed that the wild hunt also takes souls of sleeping or dying people with it.

The band is described as fearsome riders on dark horses and with hunting dogs, riding around on a cold storm wind and bringing disaster with them.

The time between the “Rauhnächte” or “Zwölfnächte” (winter solstice / December 21st to January 2nd, in European customs also between December 25th and January 6th) is particularly associated with the Wild Hunt.

The hunt races through the sky with all kinds of loud noises, screams and howls; you can often hear the neighing of horses and the barking of dogs in the distance. The group is led by the Germanic pagan god Wodan or Frau Holle / Frau Perchta (here too, it depends on the legend and region).

Other members of the Wild Hunt are any spirits/souls of people who have died due to violence or misfortune, including children. Animals also come along (horses and dogs etc) and, like human souls, stay with the hunt until they are freed. To free a soul from the duty of hunting usually requires a victim who has to fulfill the soul's duty in place of the soul until it is also freed. So the Wild Hunt is everlasting and infinite.

quick question— how do you guys feel about seeing healed self harm scars in art? specifically just healed scars, like, maybe some faint white or pink-ish lines. they wouldn’t be the subject of the drawing at all, but they’d just kinda be there

It occasionally upsets us how cute our art is, we wish there were more to it than just cuteness, though perhaps we don’t see something in it others see. Maybe our art is actually viewed as more serious than we think. Idk, we love creating art and sharing, we plan to do this forever.

I like Vax and Scanlan more in tlovm but I also still can’t separate vaxl*th and p*kelan from how much I didn’t like them in c1. Like they are actively taking steps to make both relationships better which is Good. like Vax no longer kissed Kiki without her consent and they’ve toned down Scanlan’s gross hitting on pike SO MUCH. But god I just remember how uncomfortable both relationships made me watching vm and I lose interest in seeing them in the show at all😔
