I screwed up something on the schematic pretty badly in the RAM timing section. The good news is that by installing the original RAM card out of the Cactus, and removing the RAM on this board, that fixes the problem. I didn't realize what had changed until I noticed the difference on @techav's 6502 SBC when I was looking at the schematics.

What the hell was I thinking when I changed that RAM circuit?

Well, I think I was trying to provide proper Chip Enable qualification with the clock (Phi2) for both SRAM and FeRAM. FeRAM requires different timing to get it to work right, and I screwed that up by connecting it to the Output Enable line rather than the Chip Enable

The good news is that it's running fine with that borrowed RAM card.

Anyway, that's why we test things.
