his original appearance he has multi-coloured hair (like a calico cat) and I used those colours here but they're toned down in a way that it makes him look like that ginger/blond-ish middle colour is his hair.... and I don't hate it tbh...

a darker brown colour (that's used in the shading here, just v lightly) is meant to be his 'natural' colour but..... hmm....

Y'know, I find it really interesting (and hilarious) that somebody can Corrode into something that looks even freakier (or at least weirder) than the E.G.O's source Abnormality. I have to wonder if they could freak/weird-out their matching Abnormalities lmao.

Using the E.G.Os/Abnos in the images as examples:

The Rose Hunter is at least arsed to look vaguely like a normal dude 90% of the time (discounting his thorny stem/root lower half as seen in the E.G.O splash art background for Hong Lu's version of Lasso). Corroded Lasso Faust is similar. Corroded Lasso Hong Lu, however, is basically a rose with two long stems tied into lassos and his "lower body" connected directly to the horse, with only part of his ponytail left. Not even getting into the fact that both his "torso" and the horse's abdomen are "bleeding" rose petals and the fact that the horse's rein is tied around Hong Lu's neck akin to a noose. He actually reminds me a bit of a Nuckelavee with the really long arms and being directly connected to the horse.

The Heavenly Executioner's Scribe is a pretty simple statue-looking thing. Meur's Corrosion is a bit funky with the little hands on his wings, his floating hands, and funky mask... But his Corrosion is nothing compared to whatever the hell Corroded Pursuance Rodion has going on lmao. She's got chains and she seems to have eyes on her eyes. Eyes for days.

Der Fluchschütze is a variant of Der Freischütz but red, basically. Pretty simple design, nothing fancy. Both of the Fell Bullet Corrosions are pretty goddamn weird compared to Der Fluchschütze's design, with Heathcliff's version turning him into a giant heart filled with guns while Yi Sang's version turns him into a sentient reflection stuck in a jury-rigged mirror+gun setup, but Yi Sang's version of Fell Bullet isn't in the game yet, so we do not have the sprite, so I just put Heathcliff's Fell Bullet Corrosion there. To be fair, it deserves to be here. Der Fluchschütze would definitely be confused as to how it could cause... that.

The Dreaming Electric Sheep is... Well, it's a sheep alright. With really long, clawed legs and a bunch of spikes sticking out of its wool, but it's a sheep alright. Meur Corrodes into this E.G.O hard. Compared to Don's Corrosion, he goes full Sheep. Which just makes me wonder why he's got that weird Demogorgon-looking meat-flower-flap face in his attack, while the Dreaming Electric Sheep's version of the "Electric Screaming" attack does not have that. Sheep Meur, y u have weird meat flower face. His head is also inside the wool 90% of the time for some reason...

The warm smell of cardamom drifted through the morning air. Outside it was already blazing hot, the sun’s glare scorching the golden sands that seemed to go on for miles. Cacti and aloe greedily soaked in the heat.

Inside, it was cool. The sun peeked through the windows, stealing the shade, but the spells carefully placed on the hut kept the temperature from rising too much. After all, cuddling in intense heat, all sweaty and gross, was not desirable.

You worked quietly in the small kitchen. Something had called to you as the sun rose, perhaps nothing more than a mere craving, but you decided to use this as an opportunity to surprise the wizard still snoozing in the other room. Asra was always slow to rise anyway, so you’d have plenty of time to-

“Ahh!” Your whole body jumped. Your heart leapt into your skull, pounding uncomfortably hard against your ribs. You could feel the rhythm in your throat and fingertips; hear it in your ears. You turned around to smack Asra in the chest. “You scared me!”

Asra didn’t have the decency to look apologetic. Instead, they snickered mischievously. Their hands - which had pinched your sides from out of nowhere - smoothed sweetly over your waist instead, thumbs rubbing just below your ribs. “I couldn’t resist the temptation,” he said.

You huffed, but you kissed his cheek anyway. “Makes me wonder if you learned it from Faust, or if she learned it from you.”

They kissed your cheek in return. You could feel the curve of his smile on your skin. “That’s a mystery we’ll never solve.”

As if she’d been called, you felt Faust’s cool scales glide around your neck and shoulders. Her adorable puppy-mouth pressed against your other cheek, before trying to slip between you and Asra. “Sneak attack!”

“I think she got it from you,” you accused. You grinned at him slyly over Faust’s head, before turning back toward the stove. His arms automatically wrapped around your stomach, chin resting on what free space their familiar left on your shoulder, head tilted to lean against yours. “I woke up wanting rice pudding.”

He hummed by your ear. You were sure his eyes were already slipping shut again. Once, they’d fallen asleep like this. Though to be fair, it had been back at the shop, where less than a foot away was the pile of pillows and cloths used for a bed, so if he fell, they’d have a soft spot to land.

They turned to nuzzle into your neck, warm breaths tickling you. “Spicy or sweet?”

You reached over to grab a small spoon. Well, you reached and fell terribly short. Faust was kind enough to become an extension of your arm and grab it for you. You scooped up a small bit of the pudding and held it up for Asra to taste. They buried their face back into your neck immediately after.

“Sweet. Just like you.”

“Says the cuddle bug clinging to me.”

“Those exist, you know.”

“Really?”

“Mhm. Deep in the South. They live just under the snow, waiting to grab on to anything warm that passes by.”

You stirred the pudding. “Like ticks?”

“Like ticks,” they confirmed. “But instead of sucking your blood” – he squeezed you for emphasis – “they suck up your warmth. Completely harmless. We should go looking for them sometime.”

With a flick of your wrist, the fire went out beneath the small pot. You pressed your elbow back into Asra’s side and he reluctantly let go, stepping away so you were finally free to move around. You grabbed a pair of mismatched bowls and another spoon, and playfully nudged Asra aside with your hip while he grabbed a spoonful from the pot.

With the pudding equally divided between the bowls, and after giving Faust a small lick of what was leftover, you all found yourselves sitting in bed, laying against and on top of one another, watching the plants in the windowsill and the blue sky beyond. Not much needed to be said, but the silence was filled nonetheless with plans for the day ahead, teasing remarks, and sweetened kisses. Later, you’d have to conjure water from sand for the land beast still sleeping outside, and ride on its back back to Vesuvia. Nadia and Portia would want to hear about your travels, Julian would be eager to get his hands on the special leeches you almost got arrested retrieving for him, you had some tasty treats for Muriel to give to Innana–

But for now, you’d bask in the feeling of Asra’s soft hair tickling your forehead as they pull you into their chest. The little dance of his fingers trailing across your hip. That soft look in his eyes. The little sigh he lets out as he presses his lips to your pulse point and feels the shared rhythm in your chests.

Yeah. All the rest can wait.

This episode was a riot. It was so much fun.

SO many random HP easter eggs and we get some new fun characters!!

Specifically, Margarette Macaron!!

I love them. Non-binary, music magic, and a love of tartar sauce (and a motorcycle in the ending credits!). (It me? maybe.) Despite seeming like an overused Okama-trope, I have hope based on the spoilers I went searching for. I'm so hype for more of them in the next episode.

Ep 2 Spoilers Under the Cut! Warning IT'S SO LONG THERE'S SO MUCH.

We open in the middle of the decision to execute Mash or not, and Dumbledore, Harry, and Draco having a stand off lmao

We learn that Whalberg/Dumbledore is a famous wizard because he fought with Innocent Zero in his youth.

Does this mean the shadowed Innocent Zero who was called father by Cell War is the equivalent of Grindelwald, and Evil Jesus(Cell War (or cell wall if you wanna be a pun) is Voldemort? (Also is it father or Father lololol)

ALSO, ARE ALL THESE NAMES FROM A RNG OR PUNS CAUSE I CAN'T TELL YET lmao

We get a little speech from Wahlberg reminiscent of one of Dumbledore's speeches, but more importantly, WHAT IS THE SIGNIFICANCE OF RAYNE ALSO BOWING???

Also his protecting the headmaster is a cute touch

I get that he is one of the Divine Visionaries, but is he more important than the others? He's still a student, wait, HOW DO STUDENTS HAVE THIS MUCH POWER IN THE GOVERNMENT?? NO WONDER ITS FUCKED UP??? Did I miss something??? (His reasoning for not wanting Mash dead also being the flashback to Rayne thanking him for taking care of his little brother?)

And of course Mashle can't be executed, so they set they give him a task to delay his sentencing...

The original goal Mash had in the first place, so ABSOLUTELY NOTHING HAS CHANGED.

Them backing the fuck up as Mash punches the floor is fricken hilarious. The best parts though...

1) Innocent Pero / Innocent Gyro - Thats a great subtitle translation choice, because they can't do a straight translation. Mash calls them Innocent Pero, with pero being the onomatopoeia for LICKING something in Japanese (WHATS THAT IMPLYING :EYES:), so Innocent Gyro is a good choice XD

and 2) the scene cuts to the bad guy's lair... which also seems to be shaking...

DON'T TELL ME. IS THE CHAMBER OF SECRETS UNDER THE BUREAU OF MAGIC????? (This is my theory and I'm sticking to it. Season 1 semi-stuck with random Philosopher's Stone plot points and the secret rooms, so it can be a semi-safe bet that season 2 might follow Chamber of Secrets?)

We then jump to an outing at the near by town to celebrate Mash Avoiding Death.

Doesn't look like it. Biggest stuff seems to be they added a few anniversary/misc. special dates to characters that didn't have birthdays before (Venom, ABA, Sol, and Faust, but nothing for Bedman/?). Though, they seem to have forgotten to put the proposal date for Sol in his entry in English..?

They added an entry for Vialattea, the kingdom Ky and Dizzy rule together too, but almost half of it is about how Dr. Paradigm's efforts have made property values skyrocket lmao

The Sol proposal date will probably get patched in later, but I have little faith in them ever fixing the especially egregious errors

It goes unnoticed by the scowling teen, but something in taunting blue eyes shift. Playful smile dropping slightly. Before she knows it, the shadow of Emperor's tallest member looms over her. Trapping her in a blanket of shadow as he lumbers over to the aisle she’s in. Sudden pressure against her forehead make Nora’s eyes cast upward, seeing how the man’s brows furrow as a rough hand pushes against her warm skin, holding still for a moment.

“You’re sweating.”

“Oh, I had no idea.”

He makes a face, pulling back. “Are you sick?”

The mixed matched haired girl swallows thickly. “Yes, I am.”

Blue eyes narrow in on the the smaller teen judgingly. “Then why the fuck did you show up?”

Little snippet for the oneshot I’m working on for my Lords Of Chaos fanfic before I actually try to take a shot at writing the fic.

I liked the idea of making little pieces that don’t really fit into the fic into a little series to lighten all the angst that’s most likely/will happen lmao.

Anyway, Faust being himself but actually caring for once. Nora just wants to work even though she feels like shit (she’s sick). He wants her to go lie the fuck down.

Tea & Mirrors

Faust gently ushered a mug of tea into Akira’s hands before turning to the white, fluffy cat kneading happily at his bedsheets.

Lemongrass. With a hint of sweetness. Akira accepted it gratefully, feeling the warmth travel from the mug to their fingertips as a pleasant tingle.

The two of them were outside for some time as they tried to coerce this cat inside. Even with all of Faust’s patience and gentle words, it still took the better part of a half hour. Plus, they had encountered Bradley in the hallway and had gotten an earful about “potential allergens,” and “getting that thing out of here”. The cat, unsurprisingly, wasn't well- received in the manor.

“Goodness…” Faust mused. “Look at you, all content now that you’re inside. I have half a mind to believe you’re in fine condition after all.” He paused, watching as the cat resigned to licking its paws. “Spoiled.”

Akira chuckled at the scene, carefully setting his mug down on Faust’s desk and going to stand beside him near the bed, giving the animal a healthy amount of space.

“So it’s alright?” Akira asked. The cat meowed, surveying both Faust and Akira curiously as if it’d never seen the two of them before–as if it hadn’t been leading them in circles around the outskirts of the manor for ages, making sure to coat its fur with mud and leaves thoroughly.

“Seems like it. Other than the obvious,” Faust said with a sigh, taking his hat from his head and dusting it off before turning to Akira. “Sorry for dragging you into this unnecessarily.” Akira shook their head and dropped to their knees near Faust’s bed to offer the back of their hand to the cat, who sniffed it with disinterest. Faust put his hat back on.

“I don’t mind at all! I quite like cats. They remind me of home.” They reached a hand out to stroke its fur, watching how the cat followed their movements with wide, light blue eyes. They really did remind Akira of home. Late nights at work and the constant grind were reduced to nothing in the face of certain fluffiness.

“Ah– don’t dirty your hands even more. Let me go get a washcloth,” Faust gently reprimanded, turning to leave. The cat seemed to notice the intent, perking up and reaching its feet. Its eyes scanned Faust’s retreating form before leaping from the bed, using Akira’s shoulder as a launch pad. Its claws effortlessly ripped through the fabric of their shirt and into their skin as the cat grappled for traction, making Akira wince as they felt the sting. They grimaced, turning their head to inspect the scratch.

The cat mewed innocently as it landed, weaving between Faust’s legs and nearly tripping him. He clicked his tongue.

“Nothing but trouble with you…” Faust said in the cat’s direction, returning to Akira’s side in a few strides to inspect his shoulder. They pulled the neckline of their shirt down, lamenting more over the torn fabric than their injury. Then, they felt Faust’s chilled fingers brush their skin gently, taking over and holding the shirt. Akira pressed their arm against their side in an attempt to make his job easier–whatever job that was.

“It’s fine, just a scratch. I’ll just go wash it with soap and water,” Akira reassured, voice quiet and hesitant to break the silence. They shifted slightly under Faust’s attentive gaze.

“Satillquinart Mullcreed,” he whispered after a moment. Akira felt the familiar rush–

No, that’s not the word.

Faust’s magic was akin to a river, yes. But a river during the middle of summer when the mountains lacked snowmelt to feed it. Not raging, not entirely unforgiving, but not meandering either. Still plenty powerful. Akira felt it run through their veins and coax a sigh from their lungs, gently healing over the cut and taking their worries along with it. What a kind sort of magic, Akira thought.

“Ah… thank you, Faust,” Akira said, embracing the smile that tugged at their lips. Faust pulled his hat down just a touch.

“It was just a small scratch, as you said. Don’t mention it,” he said with an air finality that told Akira that he, quite literally, didn’t want them to mention it. With some effort, Akira smothered his smile for the sake of Faust’s Eastern nature. “I’d still go wash it if I were you. And find Chloe to mend your shirt,” Faust continued. Akira nodded in agreement.

“You’re right. I’ll leave the cat to you for a while, then. Seems like it’s made itself at home under your bed, for now,” they said, heading for the door. They heard Faust’s clothing shift behind them.

“That wasn’t me kicking you out, by the way. I wouldn’t mind an accomplice for escorting it back outside so I don’t get into too much trouble,” Faust managed. “The others listen to you more.”

“Yes, sure! I’ll be back in a moment.” Faust nodded, eyes following Akira, who was suppressing further words of thanks, out and into the hall.

Their tea steamed on the desk in wait.

D&D anon here... I did mean "Dungenos & Dragons". Whoops. For clarification the Cleric is like a person who uses magic through holy parying and stuff (a "whiet mage" in JRPGs). It suited Morgen to me. And Barbarians (for the reader) are the ones to take a lot of hits and hit hard themselves.

So I'm finally here! So... I have no idea What dungeon and Dragons is before this. I did a little R&R and with some help from my mutuals, I learnt a thing or two. But there's really so many variations? Like different website would have different types of characters? I was really confused lmao.

But okay lemme summarise a little for the readers as well... so D&D is actually a game, where you have different characters and roles and they complete quests and battles as a team.. So anyway for this fic:

Morgen is the mage healer

"hey there, healer~ what's your name?" you asked.

"Morgen Faust." he shook your hand with a cheery smile. But he didn't ask your name back.

"haven't seen you around~" you tried to maintain the conversation with the raven haired man.

"I wasn't from this department." he maintained his smile.

"Let me guess, you're from the thief group previously?"

He nodded.

"why the switch?" you continued to ask, but he just chuckled to himself and shrugged.

What the hell? Is he some kind of introvert or what? But boy oh boy does he look good. sky blue eyes, long raven locks, pale clear skin. His mysterious aura seemed cool and you were intrigued to know more about him.

"Who goes there?!" you met a group of gnomes. Hostile Gnomes.

Morgen let out a small sigh, "why are gnomes always angry..."

You giggled at his joke.

The gnomes attacked all at once, and it was your duty as the fighter and the thank of the party to take hits and fight. Well, you were a raging bull and you never backed down from a fight since day one.

Morgen backed you up quietly, seeing that you were able to handle the gnomes pretty well.

A few gnomes were nothing to you, as they were defeated quickly and scurried away into the bushes, but you were a little beat up here and there.

"you're hurt." Morgen came up to you in the flash of a light.

"This nothin' but a scratch." you waved him off, "let's continue."

Morgen just stood still and healed you, despite your protests of you being fine.

"Are all fighters stubborn, aren't they?" he shook his head a little, "just like Yami."

You couldn't help but laugh, he was right, Yami was indeed unconcerned about his injures all the time.

Out of nowhere, an ambush attack came from behind both of you. There was no time to react so you wanted to stand forward to shield Morgen, but in one swift move, Morgen blasted the perpetrator into half.

Your mouth hung wide open, was this man the definition of perfection? Tall, handsome, powerful...

"Why didn't you tell me!!" you questioned your captain Julius when you came back to update him about the quest.

"tell you..?"

"about Morgen! the healer!"

"Tell you what about Morgen, exactly?" Julius was confused.

"That he's so strong and can fight well! I embarrassed myself in front of him!" you covered your cheeks with your hands, thinking about how you were all over the place fighting the gnomes while he fought calmly and gracefully. "I must have looked like a monkey to him, oh lord!"

Julius laughed heartily.

"And also, why did he convert from thief to healer?" you spoke in a hush tone, "isn't his talent wasted as a healer?"

"well, why not you ask him yourself?"

You blinked at your captain who gestured towards the door.

You turned around and you saw Morgen standing at the door, waving at you with his usual polite smile.

You never wanted to dig a hole and hide so badly in your life before. "why are you here!!"

"er.. the same reason as you?" he gave you a sheepish smile, "we were on the quest.. together you know?"

"S-since when did you get here!" you were bursting with embarrassment at this point.

"about the time when you said that you embarrassed yourself in front of me," he gave a little awkward chuckle.

Julius was trying his best not to fall of the chair giggling at this point. "I'll give you two some space.." he said as he left, calling for Marx and Yami to join him for lunch.

"so... you wanted to ask me why did I become a healer?" Morgen asked.

"But you didn't feel like sharing, no?"

"firstly, I got tired of the secret and mysterious life. I used to do it with my twin, but now he's with Yami more, so i don't find a point to do it anymore. And also, being a healer feels rewarding.."

"that's it?" the reason felt so simple you didn't understand why he didn't want to say it back then.

"and also..." he spoke slowly, his cheeks slightly flushed pink, "being a healer means I could go on a quest with you."

"me?"

"yeah, I saw you fight on one of your quest awhile back, when I was on my own personal quest, and I wanted to get to know you." he admitted shyly.

You felt like steam was coming out from your ears.

"To be fair, you were really all over the place when you fought," he let out an endearing laugh, "but I never thought of you as a monkey, I think you fight gracefully as well, as if you're dancing."

You fumbled to find the right words to say. "T-thank you."

"I'll make sure you won't get hurt again, miss y/n." he patted your head and left.

And that was how you met your husband.

okay okay so first impressions on the ikevamp boys

Napoleon: oooo I can already tell he's going to be one of my favorites. On first glace I didn't think he'd be the type for our character to just trust??? But sure I guess. His hair reminds me of Belphegor from Obey me. I like his clothes tho and I like soldier characters so he's got that going for him. He gets bonus points because he tried to help us in the beginning but the image in my brain of hiding behind a curtain with him is so funny to me lmao

Mozart: pretty pretty pretty. That hair is so pretty and his eyes too and he looked even prettier when he looked directly at me. But he's very cold and gives me "it's not a phase mom!" vibes. Music is nice and all but idk he might be too cold for me

Leonardo: did this man just fall asleep in the hallway immediately after knocking??? He's pretty and interesting, but sir you are mysterious. I like his clothes tho and I would wear them if given the chance. Also no sir you can't study me for research-

Theo: ooooo another one I instantly like. He's very pretty and I like him. The way the game describes him with a sharp tongue, takes no prisoners in his ambition, and respects Vincent more than anyone, he kinda gives me Sebek vibes and I'm absolutely in love with Sebek. I want to pet his hair

Dazai: Another one with pretty hair, but his personality just isn't attractive to me. I could see him as a friend and we would have fun, but nothing more. Also this man came in through the window??? Chaotic but so natural about it that it's amazing

Isaac: When I first saw him my brain went "Omg there he is! That's Auburn's man!" lmao. He kinda reminds me of Azul and I can see why you like him. He's also pretty and I like his red clothing. Aahhhhh, the Limbus Company sprite character art looks really good, Mod Aleph! You have the heavy outer lineart and varying sizes of inner line art plus back the shading down pat.

You matched the sinners uniform colors quite well although I now wonder what your EGO stripe suit style and base EGO weapon would be. Got any hints to what they could be? Or what kinda backstory your self-insert would have to join Limbus Company B?

Oh and of course, we just HAVE to wonder what your designated hex color and name plus your sinner number wuld be. The eyes and hair colors are really good looking for both the sprite and possible color name, they're colorful enough to stand out from the crowd of sinners if you put them into a battle plus unique enough that the shade of the sea green hair and dark pink eyes makes it easy to differentiate from Faust's pink or Honglu's turquiose colors.

Riding the high of a resounding Epiphany.

...Did I pull another "Desdinova" purely out of sheer A.B.A hopium? (I kept the lines sketchy, though, because I could not be arsed to try and mimic Strive's linework style again after the pain from last time ahjsdgajhsdgadk)

So, those Season 3 character survey results, huh? The A.B.A hopium is real. I really do wonder what they'd do with her if she was brought to Strive, so I decided to try my hand at a "Strive-ified" A.B.A design.

So, design background info:

So, she's a... weirdo homunculus, right? An artificial human, created by a mad scientist she never met, so she was alone and never really learned how to... "people". That key in her head also keeps on reminding me of the bolts lodged in the sides of pop-culture-ified Adam's (Frankenstein's monster) head. She's also desperately trying to find a human(oid) body for the demon/magical foci Paracelsus/Flament Nagel, who she is deeply in love with. Artificially-created human, medical themes, artificial human form, deeply in love...

So what if she decided that, with her attempts at finding a body for him repeatedly failing (XX endings don't count, XX's canonicity is completely FUCKED lmao), why doesn't she just... create one herself instead?

In other words, the creation becomes the creator. Lil' bit of "Bride of Frankenstein" thrown in, if the guy making the bride (or in this case, groom) was the monster itself.

So, making her into a key-axe-wielding mad scientist homunculus.

I tried to make her pose reminiscent of a dance move, specifically a "dip".

GG ABA Strive fandesign sheet 01

The first drawing I got done of my design for A.B.A (featuring a base-shapes Paracelsus for scale). Featuring her color palette (F1 is base flesh, F2 is scarring, H is hair, B is bandages, C1 is primary coat color, C2 is secondary coat color, C3 is tertiary coat color, E is "edges", M1 is one of the metal colors, A is "accents", M2 is the second metal color, and the square below that is the eye colors), weird ragged patchwork "lab-coat", boot details, "branding", and some of the text on her design.

- The phrase printed along the front edge of her coat (and the heels of her boots) is "LOCK&SEE" (the "&" stylized to look like/replaced with a keyhole symbol), a spin on the phrase "Lock and Key", fitting with her obsession with keys and tendency towards twisting sayings/phrases into mondegreens. Also implies hiding something.

- The brand on the back of her coat is meant to look like the coffin shape on the back of Paracelsus's head during Moroha Mode, with the nose hole and right eye hole visible. Text above it reads "PARACELSUS" (with the P and R stylized to have curved horns in the back like MM Para), and the text underneath reads "FLAMENT NAGEL" (with similar "horn" stylization on the F).

- The scarring is damage from her not wearing proper protective gear during her experiments (because she doesn't seem like one to wear proper PPE lmao), much of it taking up most of the left side of her upper torso/arm (meant to mirror Strive Faust's stitching).

- She's both grimy and very... "DIY", so her stitching is very hodgepodge.

- The text along the stitching on the back of her coat reads "The More The Moodier.", a play on one of her mondegreen win-quotes in XX (against I-No: "People say "the more the gloomier", but she's just too much to take...") but with the same alliteration as "the more the merrier" which it was derived from.

- The brand on the right side of her shorts is the same as on her back, but without the "FLAMENT NAGEL" and with "PARACELSUS" underneath instead of above.

- The key markings (gloves, boots) all have the same key-blade shape as Paracelsus.

- I had some trouble figuring out some of her colors, as they differed between the sprites (blue metal, glove. and trim) and official artwork (dark brown metal + glove, blue trim), so I decided to have dark brown for the keys and dark blue for the studded trim and left glove.

- The laces of her boots and the buttons on her coat are meant to resemble Para's mouth stitches

- Made her head-key/neck keys have a little skull decoration similar to some of her XX art (it's very inconsistent).

- Both of the large gloves look the same, with the red bands and Paracelsus-blade key markings.

- The dark blue left-hand glove is (mostly) the same. I like to think that it's her "woobie", what with her tendency to get attached to inanimate objects.

- The dark blue cropped tank-top is meant to only be visible in Moroha. The text reads "MOCK&KEY" (the "&" stylized to look like/replaced with a stylized keyhole symbol, the top part of the keyhole meant to look like a coffin), another spin on "Lock and Key" like the previously-mentioned "LOCK&SEE" compounded with her believing herself to be superior to humans. Moroha is what was locked-up.

- Noting specific design changes during Moroha. Coat opens + key "eyes" gain red glow.

- Design for her head + neck keys.

- Design for her bloodpacks. Text reads "FRASCO". Symbol underneath meant to look like a "flask" shape made out of an upside-down keyhole.

The fourth sheet I made, featuring Paracelsus and his colors.

I honestly didn't change much lmao. His design is already weird by GG standards, mostly just tweaked some things.

- Made his eyes asymmetrical. Right has small iris and no pupil, left has beady pupil. Wanted to make him look "cartoony (western) neurotic/nervous" while hinting at his "main" glowy eye in Moroha being his right eye.

- I blurred/smudged the blood along the bottom edge to imply that A.B.A dragging him around wore away some of it.

- I added some spikes to his collar for a "punk" look, which glow red in Moroha.

- I kept his mouth stitches in Moroha. The mouth-corner stitches remain, while the middle stitches are tied around his left horn.

The final sheet I made, featuring mechanic ideas, "meta" stuff, and a design for repurposing an older move into a reversal super.

- Non-replenishable resources don't really fly in Strive, so I decided to make them replenishable through an alternate version of Bonding (a.k.a Keygrab). One Keygrab variant for Moroha, one Keygrab variant for a bloodpack. Starts off with no bloodpacks. Max three bloodpacks at a time. Functionality basically the same as XX.

- Turned Altercation (i.e. Enter Goku Moroha) into a Moroha-exclusive reversal super. Goku Moroha is not something that flies by modern fighting game characters, let alone Strive, so GM would definitely get axed. Still keeping Altercation as an absolute weirdo of a move, taking different resources depending on how much she has of each.

- Not sure what to actually do with Moroha's function/moveset, but having an "Install" state is the big thing that defines A.B.A's playstyle, so she'd probably keep at least base Moroha.

- Evidence: Concealment becomes a full reversal that only hits one hit as opposed to three, because most people cancel it after the first hit anyway lmao

idk much yet about the rest of the design, but i like the use of yellow, bc a) calf's fur, b) the symbolism of it (reminds me of happiness and childishness). though i wonder if he's 100% calf/cow, or a centaur instead? his hands have become viney and there's leaves around where totally covered head is, but he has ears as well (or horns?). also i just fucking noticed his shirt looks like dongbaeks in her spicebush ego......

Asuka is straight up a Hupper, and probably was one before, but his perspective about pain and his eye thing that remind me of larmes de sang (sacrieur technique) gave me the vibes so he became both. Sacrimages is a made-up word, but with Nitura calling hybrid classes a combination of their names (ex: osadida) I thought Sacrimage would fit the bill.
