Call of Duty, Father's Day edition:

Just fatherly things, or how you honor the men in your life on this special day.

Capt. John Price - Price never asks for much, just your safety and happiness, but the kids wanted to give him presents for Father's Day, so you do. A new hat that looks like all the others but more expensive, a new mug for his tea, and kisses galore on his chonky cheeks. What more could the Cap'n ask for?

Gaz - Kyle just wants to hold his family in his arms, so he does. He didn't think he'd make it back in time to be here with you guys but he did and he's so damn happy. Now he and the little ones can get caught up on the latest gossip.

Alex Keller - It's not too often that he gets to do this. You all enjoyed his favorite breakfast with him: a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch. It's worth the sugar rush you know Keller and the kids will experience afterward.

Soap - Soap's been meaning to help his girls with their cheer practice so you honor him by... letting him be the bottom of the pyramid. With his cheer uniform on. And Whiskey keeps licking his face. You took a photo and he'll never live it down. The wee ones laugh every time.

Ghost - The Missus™ achieves his dream of sleeping in today with his girls right beside him. There's Simon, his big arm wrapped around his kids who're cuddled up against him, and Pup by his feet sleeping peacefully. He'll wake up to a wonderful gift courtesy of his girls: a pink shirt that says Princess Daddy in glittery letters across the chest, and it's adorned with a tiara, too? Missus Princess Daddy™ is life, Simon. You cannot escape it lmao.

Alejandro - Alejandro wakes up to his kids tackle-hugging him in bed. There's breakfast and a card with heartfelt messages on it. They're very proud of their papa for everything he does and continues to do for them. Oh, and he's about to be a papa again. Best Father's Day gift ever, amirite? Congrats, Alejo!

Rudy - Oh, you let the mother hen rest today. Rudy loves to pamper and cater to his family but now it's his turn to be pampered and catered to. The house? Clean. Dinner? Cooking. Kids? Loving on Rudy. All is as it should be.

König - The kiddo's Father's Day gift has been pranking König something fierce all day and all you can do is shake your head in faux exasperation and revel in the gremlin laughter (from both of them) echoing throughout the house. You'll have his favorite meal for dinner.

Horangi - Today, Horangi is being honored by his kid beating him in card games. Repeatedly. And Horangi trying to figure out how and why this is happening lmao.

Graves - Graves is also pretty content with his lot in life. You and Boss Baby Graves give him a gift card to a spa he's been wanting to try. And then you get his ass by having some of the men from Shadow Company call and wish him a Happy Father's Day and call him Dad. Real cute, darlin'.

Protective Chris & Chef: IBITGENR Edition

I'm gonna throw some general headcanons in along with the alenoah ones.

• As soon as Noah was eliminated, Chris showed him the room he and Chef put together for the teen on the staff level of the plane since they didn't trust any of the former contestants to not try and get clues or something from Noah now that he's no longer in the game. (Especially Alejandro, Heather, Courtney, and Duncan)

• They make sure he is fed and taking his medication and warm! They can't have their ki- assistant not in peak condition!

• Chef makes him carry a taser, pepper spray, a pocket knife, a cat eye defense keychain, a key that is really a knife, a whistle, a panic button, and a flare gun on him at all times. Noah may have gained muscle and such from his time as Chris's assistant, and his weight is finally getting to a healthy limit but that don't mean he's leaving his boy with nothing to defend himself. (Chef has acknowledged that he sees Noah as a son and is trying to get him husband to realize he also sees the snarky boy as his son).

• Chris is in constant contact with Noah's mom, Abbi. The two got close once Noah became an intern in season one. It was them getting close that made Noah's time as an intern short, and he was quickly promoted to assistant. Not because of favoritism or anything but because, look as much as people like to say Chris doesn't have a heart, he does, and their family situation got to him.

• Noah's mom and dad were in the process of getting a divorce during Island. Noah didn't know until after the show was over since they aren't allowed to contact anyone outside of the competition but Chris had gotten in contact with Abbi to ask her permission to hire her son as an intern. Abbi agreed, and it was during one of their talks where they were hashing out all the details that he heard a fight break out between Abbi and who he learned was Noah's dad Mason.

It was about Noah.

Specifically his conduct on the show. Mason had been ranting how it was Abbi's fault Noah didn't turn out like a "correct" man, and him losing was because she coddled him. Chris unwillingly heard everything and how it came out that Mason was the reason Noah wasn't as close to his sisters as he had once been. Mason had apparently gotten in his head and continuously compared Noah to his sisters in an effort to "motivate" him.

It got to the point that Noah stopped interacting with his sisters. They found this out at the same time Chris and Abbi did as apparently Mason couldn't keep his thoughts to himself and said anything and everything that came to mind. It ended with Abbi calmly saying she wanted a divorce.

The next time they were in talks with each other, Abbi broke down and confessed to Chris that Mason agreed to the divorce, but on the condition, he gets custody of Noah. During this time, Chris had already grown fond of Noah, so he was worried how all of this would affect the boy. So he helped Abbi find a good lawyer.

Mason's lawyer was going to use Noah's medical history and Abbi's work hours as a way to get custody and basically say Noah needed a parent who could take care of him whenever possible and not a parent with one of the busiest schedules as Abbi had always had a big workload. Mason was trying to make it seem like Noah needed care and was unable to do things on his own.

Chris's brilliant plan was to then hire Noah as an assistant instead so Abbi could show the courts he's more than able to work and provide for himself if needed. (Mason isn't the smartest person despite having a PHD. and being a professor.)

• Then Noah found out about the divorce after Island wrapped up, and Action was underway, and Chris got worried as the kid just threw himself into his work.

It took a lot of talks and more heart-to-hearts than Chris liked to get the kid to talk about how he was feeling and go get him to contact his mom and sister. Thankfully, Chef was there, and he was definitely a better listener than his husband.

• Unfortunately, the custody case ended up requiring they go to court, and Noah gave a statement. Chris and Chef were there the entire time, and through it, they found themselves close to the Mudaliar family. Therefore, they feel very protective of Noah after everything. [I might expand on this in a separate post, but this is canon in all my aus. Mason isn't the best nor the worst dad, just a really misguided one and in some aus he does genuinely try to be apart of his kids lives after the divorce but in others he just stops being there. This is one of them.]

• The first time Chris and Chef see Alejandro try and talk to Noah, they always end up having something for him to do. How weird.

• They are also not a fan of the intern who has been flirting with their boy either! But there's not much they can do there because they are low on interns and aren't allowed to fire anymore.

• Though they definitely distract him with meals (family dinners as Chef would say).

• They make sure Noah wears thermals under his normal clothes and jacket, and hat, and scarf, and gloves, when he was out during the Sweden challenge.

• They also noticed that despite their efforts, Alejandro managed to talk to Noah and even got him to smirk! And chuckle! How dare he after he so ruthlessly voted off their boy! (Nevermind the part where they planned it.)

• When Noah is in charge and directing people in view of the cast, Chris makes sure Alejandro somehow gets water dumped on him or tripped or something because he does not like the look in that boy's eyes as he ogled at Noah.

• Alejandro and Noah were getting closer, and once it was the wedding challenge and Alejandro asked Chris if he could switch Heather for Noah, Chef and Chris nearly threw him off the cliff. Noah had blushed

• Thus, the China challenge happened. It was supposed to be something different, but Chef had recalled how Alejandro had gagged when he ate his Candy Fishtails, so he convinced his husband to do a food competition. Chris was all for it! (No Chef helping Blainley cheat in this au)

The two watched how grossed out Alejandro was for the entire challenge back in their room and laughed maniacally.

• Chris and Chef ban Noah from appearing anywhere near the Rapa Nui challenge, given he's a freaking Disney princess, and the condors would probably mistake him as their chick and kidnap him.

• They somewhat accept Alejandro after the boy protected Noah from the plane explosion since Chris and Chef weren't close enough to do so themselves.

I have yet to read a world tour rewrite (specifically an alenoah au starting in London) where chris makes it a reward challenge sinply because he couldnt let his favourite assistant get eliminated could he?

Okay, so hear me out. Alenoah fic TDWT. Noah come back to reality show only because producers want him to come back as competitor not as Chris' Assistant. But they (Noah and Chris and a little Chef) decided to fake his sacked, but when he'll lose and will be out from the competition, he immediately will be Chris' Assistant again. But Chris (ofc he'll never admit it) is worry about his little nerdy assistant, you know, he would prefer that his assistant be alive. And this really not because he likes him. He looks different at Noah that other competitors like so much soft. But you know, HE HAS REPUTATION, so he's acting like he really don't care. And everyone don't notice that. Everyone excluding Alejandro who noticed that and becomes suspicious. Every quick looks from Chris to Noah, every quick conversation, every hook on the plane corridor. But he decided to keep this for yourself. For better time, you know.

After All Stars, he took some time to improve his mental health and rekindle his relationship with Cody. Little did he know that Cody had been hopelessly pining for him, and he couldn't deny that he liked that funny little guy as well.

After 1 year and 3 months of dating, Cody proposed to him at the Café they had both grown to love.

It was nice to have someone who loved and appreciated him for more than his body.

With the help of Alejandro's mother, they had a lovely wedding and invited both the Gen 1 and 2 casts as guests (Minus Chris and Chef).

For their honeymoon, they went around the world and revisited all the destinations from World Tour. (Minus the island from the finale).

On December 26th, 2013, at 4:49am, they welcomed Axel Burromuerto-Anderson into their lives.

Alejandro runs his own Pub in Toronto, he's very fond of his work.

Alejandro never thought this is where he would end up in life, but he's quite pleased he got this far.

The Not-So Cinderfella

An idea that does not take place in the competition???? Whaaaaat????

It's more likely than you think!

Basically, Noah accidentally seducing a prince from the neighboring kingdom who was visiting for this year's drama festival/ week long ball. He works as a court scholar amongst other things, and despite King Chris having a whole ass council to help him plan and delegate things to, somehow it always falls on Noah to do the actual planning and delegating.

He absolutely does not want to go to the ball, but he was planning on going to the festival with his friends, Izzy, who worked as a jester, but Noah was like 73% convinced she was actually the king's assassin or was an assassin sent after the king who decided she dug his vibes and just stayed. Then there was Eva, who was the first woman commander of the knights. There was also Owen, an apprentice chef under King Chris's husband and personal chef, Chef. Yes, it got confusing when he first started working at the palace. Lastly, there was Lady Lindsay and Sir Tyler. Lady Lindsay was a noble woman who had a passion for acrobatics and was lucky her family was so understanding of her passion. Her betrothed, Sir Tyler was training to become a knight under Commander Eva but currently worked part time with his father, who set up and managed the festival games.

They were crazy in their own ways, and he loved them.

So they had all set up a time to enjoy the festival before the ball began at night. The festival would last seven days, and each night would be a different themed ball, but no matter the theme, each ball would be a masquerade. Apparently, it added a certain air of mystery and suspense to the evening. How King Chris thought people could afford seven different outfits for seven different themes was beyond him, and he was willing to bet some would just show up in a basic outfit each night, considering the king had invited everyone in the kingdom to the ball. Usually, the whole kingdom just got the festival, but this year, he opened the ball to them, too.

Noah doesn't know why, but he found it incredibly kind of the king. (What Noah doesn't now is that the king did it for him because Noah had complained about when he would have to go into town and be harassed by the common people about the king barring them entry to the party. He could handle it fine he just liked to complain. He didn't know the king would take it seriously.)

He had a theory that it was because the king had gotten so close to his family, and his grandma had somehow charmed him. Because a little after that and a little after he got the internship to be a palace scholar, the king made his family nobility. They were new nobility, so they didn't always get respect, but for the most part, the other nobles were nice or polite. But something weird came out of the whole thing. He got nicknamed Prince Noah, and he hated it. He was close to the king, yeah, but that didn't warrant the nickname. Everyone knew Chris's eldest nephew was basically next in line for the throne because King Chris and Prince Consort Chef didn't have children. Therefore, no heir. So, for people to call him, the prince was weird and could lead to trouble between their families if they caught word of it or could end with Noah being mistakenly kidnapped as some stupid person could believe the nickname. (Noah doesn't know that the royal family already knows about the nickname and is okay with it. In fact, they find it amusing. )

On the first day of the festival, many visiting royals arrived, and Noah was thankful he wasn't required to greet them or be around them unless he ran into them down in the festival square, or festival street, or festival market. Of course, he wouldn't run into them at the ball since he was not planning on attending despite the fact his whole family was. Okay, he would go the first night, but that was it. (He promised his Pāṭṭi (grandma) he would dance with her, and you don't break a promise to Pāṭṭi.

Chris knew he only planned to go the first night and only had an outfit for the first theme anyways which was Creatures of the Forest. His Pāṭṭi had made him a fox themed Dhoti Kurta and his sister Nadia had made the whole family their masks. So imagine his utter surprise when he and his family were gifted six other sets of clothing for the remaining themes. There was no way his mom wouldn't make him go now!!! To refuse a gift like that would be incredibly rude! Damn Chris!

So Noah reluctantly got ready for the first night after a fun day with his friends. He fully expected he would only talk to them or stick to the walls until it was socially acceptable for him to leave the party. He hadn't anticipated being approached by a tall man dressed as a coyote.

"Ah, it seems I have met another trickster spirit." The man had basically purred and no it had no effect on Noah. None at all.

"Lucky you." He deadpanned sarcastically.

His sarcasm seemed to have thrown the guy off, which Noah hoped meant he would be left alone once more, but unfortunately, he was not that lucky. The man laughed and leaned closer. "I should not be surprised this little zorro is clever and witty too."

"Little!" He took offense to that. He was not that short!

"Si. I thought that was obvious, mi amigo. Do you perhaps wear glasses normally and can't see the truth because we are required to wear masks?"

This guy approached him and now has the audacity to insult him! (Noah was a little sensitive about his height).

"My eyes work just fine, you eel!"

"I'm not so sure they do. I'm a coyote not an eel. You poor soul."

Noah was beginning to fume. "Do you make a habit of insulting people you approach, or am I just cursed?" He hissed.

"I believe the saying is blessed. But I wouldn't call my simple observation of a fact an insult."

"Well, here's a simple observation for you. You're not as suave as you think you are, and obviously desperate for everyone to like you given you approached someone who didn't want to be approached because you thought you could charm them into liking you." Noah was smug with his response. Reading people had always been a talent of his, and if he was correct, his words would infuriate the man and make him leave him alone or fight him. But the guy didn't seem like the type to cause a scene without a reason.

"Dance with me." What?

"What?"

"Dance with me. Now that we have both been insulted by the other, I think it best we make it up to each other by sharing a dance." The man held out his hand to Noah, who just stared incredulously at him.

"You're insane."

"And you're refreshingly resistant."

"Oh joy. You also have a big ego. Who could have guessed."

"Perhaps you can humble me during our dance."

This guy was stupidly persistent, and Noah was getting tired of arguing. Maybe if he gave the guy one dance, he would leave him alone.

It did not.

During their dance, Noah did take up the invitation to try and humble the overconfident eel, but somehow, they ended up talking about books and recent essays that had been released by some very famous scholars. Then they debated on those essays and books. Before Noah knew it, they had danced the whole night together. He was more than a little embarrassed since he saw some of his sisters smirking at him. Oh, man. He was not looking forward to that interrogation.

"This is where we part mi zorro. I will see you tomorrow evening. Hopefully, we can reach an agreement about symbolism in the last short story in the collection." His conversation partner declared while still holding into one of Noah's hands.

He scoffed in reply, "You don't even know if I'll be here tomorrow. And we can end the conversation here and now if you just agreed with me."

"I have a feeling you will be here, mi amigo."

"Okay... maybe I will be, but that doesn't mean you'll find me again. There are hundreds of people here."

"That sounds like a challenge, mi zorro."

"Maybe it is Eel." Okay, maybe he found the guy interesting.

The guy he had dubbed, Eel, merely huffed out a laugh. "Again with the eel. I have a name you know."

"I think Eel suits you."

"I think my name suits me, but I must admit I am intrigued if I can figure out who you are behind the mask. I am here for the whole festival and I think it is rather obvious you will be as well."

They ended up agreeing to try to figure out who each other was because it added a sense of mystery and fun to an event Noah hadn't even been interested in. Plus, he couldn't deny he was curious how it would go, and he had a love of mysteries.

They find each other each night and flirt like it was their jobs to do so.

Noah's sisters are ecstatic and watching like it's their favorite drama play. Carlos is excited and happy for his baby brother. Do Carlos and all of Noah's sisters find each other and find out the two's identities before they do? Yes. Do they plot on how to get the two to figure it out and get together? Also, yes.
