Frank Medrano & Louis Lombardi both started their film careers together in the 1993 film, Amongst Friends as a pair of low level crooks in Brooklyn. I don’t know if they were already a duo doing comedy routines before this or if they were randomly paired up. But they would appear in 6 more projects together. Next was The Making of ‘...and God Spoke, also in 1993 as a pair of Teamsters on a movie set and also High Kicks a low budget video with dismal reviews, again in 1993. Next was the pilot for the TV version of Hardball, playing hecklers of the baseball team, which aired in 1994. In these appearances, Frank seemed to be dominant. Speaking more lines and getting more close-ups. Louis seemed to be just a ‘me too’ kind of character. In 1995, they appeared together in one scene of The Usual Suspects. In 1997, they appeared in Father’s Day and Suicide Kings, but didn’t share any scenes together. It seemed peculiar that both were hired for the films but not as a team. Suicide Kings, especially, since they were paired up, but not with each other. Louis was paired with Dennis Leary and Frank with Brad Garrett.

Since this time Louis Lombardi has become the more recognizable of the two, appearing as a regular in ‘24′ for 2 seasons and as a recurring FBI Agent in The Sopranos. Frank Medrano is known for the great scene in Shawshank Redemption.

I'm not sure if this is a me thing or something other people also have thought about.

I've always been body conscious and I experience second hand embarrassment frequently. Growing up it seemed apparent that being fat meant a lot of negative connotations. When I watch TV shows or movies that have a fat character, and it's clear in the script the character is meant to be fat, I always wonder if that bothers the actor. Even as a kid I wondered about this.

Does anyone remember the Disney movie Heavyweights? I might be dating myself haha. It was about a fat camp and they had a cray cray camp director (Ben Stiller) who was all into fitness a bit too much. All the campers were chubby or fat or large in some way. Even one of the adult roles had to be bigger guy. Of course it's great all the actors got a role and got paid, but that doesn't mean they felt good about being in a bigger body. And in the movie, there's plenty of bullying.

Also, I'm looking at this through an ED lens and maybe it's not a big deal at all. Maybe I'm too sensitive about this topic.

But yeah... I'm sure there's a mix of people caring and not caring about their size and getting a role partly due to their size. I don't know if I'm making any sense. 😅

Featuring that one episode where Luke is forced to go on a diet, and according to the scales, goes from allegedly 300lbs down to allegedly 275. But more importantly, features an extraordinarily long scene in which someone pushes their face into his gut while he's being weighed, as his tiny husband looks on disapprovingly. Also squashings, belly peeks, pokes, exercise, comical amounts of food, grappling, porn reading (and obviously uniforms.) People do less on the average Onlyfans. And that's it! About 18 hours of bad 90s sitcom, finally reprocessed into the 25 minute supercut my head's been begging for all these years. Here's some random screengrabs of other things he's been in.

He gets especially gigantic for Road To Redemption (2001, an awful evangelical movie, where he can barely fit behind the wheel of a car and his face looks like it's been carved out of rubber) and Fangs (2002, a low budget horror where he's an almost spherical security guard)

Condal, Hess and Co really missed the point of the books misogynistic fatphobic comments on Rhaenyra’s weight. The problem is historians compare Alicent and Rhaenyra’s body types as if it is at all relevant to them as people or relevant to their rivalry. The problem is they sexualise young Rhaenyra and her teenage body more than her adult body which naturally changed as she grew into womanhood and had six children. Her not losing the baby weight shouldn’t matter but much like tabloids in our culture, the historians felt the need to point out her weight gain and body changes while simultaneously pointing out that Alicent remained slim and had the same body type that she did at 18 even after giving birth to four children.

Rhaenyra being curvy or fat is not a moral failing, it didn’t make her less desirable to her lovers nor did it make her bitter or envious both Rhaenyra and Helaena seemed happy and content with with their larger body types. The point isn’t that her gaining weight was an exaggeration or a lie made up by the anti Rhaenyra sources like condal and Hess have suggested, it’s not her mentioned boy type that’s the problem here, it’s the way she and other bigger women throughout history are talked about by these male sources that is both misogynistic and fatphobic. Quite frankly, erasing her natural weight gain and body changes after she grows older and has six babies is fatphobic and misogynistic in itself.

Almost Certainly Cultists: characters with a variety of factors and traits that point to the cult, but I cannot definitively say for sure by means of potential story twists and lack of information (the latter especially for Carmen and Mort)

Potential Cultists, character and color association: also self explanatory. Characters that may be part of or at least connected to the cult via either characters they know (Carmen and the Uncle for Richard, Evermore for Garcia), or by wearing colors associated with the cult like red, cyan, and gold

Thinking about those new photos of Michael from Virgin Atlantic, and after hearing how he was putting his appearance down at the Con yesterday and seeing how much he loved playing Mrs. Robinson on TSAM and how confident that role made him feel, I would really, really love to see Michael do a photo shoot in drag. It's clearly something that makes him happy and makes him feel beautiful, and it would be the fulfillment of what his teenage self always wanted but never got to do.

Also we know Michael has always hated photo shoots, but imagine him getting to guide the direction of this one. Imagine him choosing his outfits, hair, makeup, and getting so into the process with the passionate intensity we know he has. How wonderful that would be...
