I'm trying to figure out how to safely get ice cream at an ice cream store and happened across an article from somewhere called Gluten Free Society which initially seemed promising, but then started to be like "also watch out for any ice creams with thickeners, gums, seed oils, corn-based ingredients, or soy" and it turned out the entire website is run by a single quack with a chiropractic background. Can you see why I am losing my mind.

i make this post like once a month at this point but it very much does bug me how "getting healthy" is framed as lifestyle choices that are both inaccessible to a large number of people for various reasons as well as simply physical impossibilities for another large number of people for more various reasons
#like sorry but 'just eat fewer carbs/fatty foods' or 'go to the gym more' is never going to make my hormones stop being Wrong#because food or exercise or whatever doesn't solve the root cause of the issue?#which in my case is Genetic And Irreversible. like for whatever reason it just happens to be in my dna or whatever#that my body will make the wrong amounts of the wrong hormones and shit won't digest properly and i'll just Be Fat And Weak#and no amount of diet or exercise is going to change that. none. not on a fundamental level#even if i had the time and resources to exercise and eat like tom brady or whoever the hell. my body just Won't Do That#because it's not about lifestyle it's about genetics and physiology. which can't be changed#and i go to doctors and i take meds and i do the best i can with the lifestyle shit they recommend and i'm still not ''''healthy''''#and at this point i don't think i ever will be. lol. and it really fucking sucks how centrally 'Being Healthy(tm)' is framed#even when 'healthy' doesn't even equal 'skinny' or 'muscular.'#my body betrays me and i manage the consequences every day but i'll never be able to eliminate them.#i wanna talk about me

Leg Circles
Get into the position as in exercise 1. Lift your legs and when they are up, make opposite circles with each leg. Do 3 sets of 15 repetitions.
Plank
Lie face down on the mat and support your forearms and toes. When you're ready, lift your body and hold for 20 seconds. Do 2 sets of 5 repetitions.
Recommendations
It is very important to warm up for 5 to 10 minutes before doing the exercises. Also, spend at least 5 minutes stretching at the end of the session.
Use sports clothing and footwear to feel more comfortable. Also, use a mat and never do the exercises on the floor without anything on top.
It is normal to find it difficult to do the exercises at first. Set your own pace so that you don't get tired in the first week.
