Anyway, here's Dija's motorcycle because of course he's got one. He's the son of a rich man and he was making good grades so he got it as a gift one year. His parents ground him from it while he's in school if he doesn't do well. This persists into adulthood while he's in college because they're paying for everything.

Bikes I did not buy:

Indian Springfield - I wanted to buy one, but there are none to be had until next year… so maybe another time.

Harley Breakout - I love the styling, but wanted floorboards (which I could add, but while wreaking the styling).

Harley Fat Boy - to be honest, the colours this year are very sad on the Fat Boy, and I’d have to double the cost to extract what I wanted from the bike, which was a bridge too far.

Harley Heritage - this was the bike I intended to buy before deciding I wanted the Springfield. The stripped down Heritage is much like the Slim I had previously, but with full fenders and mini apes, and ABS to save my bacon. I took one for a test ride and was a bit disappointed that the 114 stock engine didn’t have the grunt or feel of my 107 Stage 1 on the Slim; an easy fix, but surely a disappointment. The real reason that I didn’t buy the Heritage though, was I couldn’t get my mind off the bike that caught my eye immediately before my test ride on the Heritage.

But my favourites have been the ones I’ve watched since dead poets society (obv including it) mainly cause they’ve been a bit weird or different like tape!!

I recently started a water fasting, and my goal was 5 days straight. I was able to finish up 114 hours of it, so it was only 95% completed.

During the first 3 days I feel really hungry in the morning and will go away during the day, but not the food noise. Since it was during the holiday week, I was on leave, so I was able to just sleep most of the day. The struggle will come back at night because it was so hard to sleep and the hunger will kick in again. I guess the only thing that forced me to sleep was the fact that tomorrow I’m going to check my weight and be happy that I’m losing some. Most of it definitely is just water weight, but I did long period of fasting during pandemic, and it didn’t hurt my body then, so I was confident that it won’t be a problem now.

My starting weight was 118 kilograms. I was fat-blind lol. So many denials until I saw myself on my own apartment’s CCTV 😂 and boy I was shocked. No wonder I find it hard to keep up walking in the mall 😂 Anyway, I’m nearing my 30s, 2.5 years from now, so I’m really scared that I won’t be able to achieve a healthy BMI. The weighing scale is going down but my waistline isn’t 😂 That’s the only thing I measure, but articles on the internet say that belly fat, especially visceral fat are resistant to fasting, so only exercise will make it go away.

I broke my fast by eating vegetables, a small portion of grilled cat-fish, a quarter leg chicken, half cup of white rice, papaya, grapes, and Kitkat. Definitely not the best food to break a fast lol. I had diarrhea after eating but the next day, it all calmed down and I was able to pass a good 💩 I wasn’t able to finish the quarter leg chicken, because for some reason, it grossed me out. I fckin hated how the meat touch my tongue. It’s disgusting I don’t know why. I love chicken food so much but lately it’s been giving me the ick and I’ve been more into eating fish and beef.

I’m starting a 48 hours water fast after the 5-day fast, and will refeed with fruits by the end of it, and then do a 3-day fast after. It sounds crazy but my goal is to at least go down to under 100 kilograms by January, so I’ll be incorporating long walks with fasting. In total I was able to lose 6 kilos within the 114 hours fast, and the morning after I refed, I went another kilo- so 7 kilos lost in 6 days. Again, the numbers were probably water weight so my refeeds should be very strict still, but I’m hoping one chocolate won’t hurt every refeed 😂
