I voiced all of these during my playthrough but I wanna put them down anyways Lies of P is a game of lies and I often feel like the game itself is trying to lie to us so...... Compiling Theories

Carlo and Romeo didn't die of Petrification disease I honestly believe that something else killed both of them. The Petrification disease is just too much of a convenience and would've been used as a cover up. Why else would the stalker be like "Gemini, get rid of them." "I'm so sorry....I was too late" if it was only Carlo contracting the disease. The pose the body is in to me clearly conveys DEAD. And even if he caught the disease, Mr. Geppetto, the amazing Geppetto of the Workshop Union who sends his son to the MONAD CHARITY HOUSE - Valentinus Monad: Leader of the Alchemists - surely, SURELY he would've gotten a cure for his son/be able to afford it. Hell, Geppetto knew of his daughter, Sophia, and of Simon Manus. He had the connections. Giangio cures Antonia after all and she only dies because her organs were too damaged already so the disease was the thing keeping her alive. If caught early on, Carlo would have lived and given Romeo part of his cure seeing as it's implied that Geppetto didn't very much like Romeo - worded as "a grudge." What this grudge is about - getting his son killed or something else....we don't know yet but hopefully will find out.

2. There's 2 Geminis "Gemini, get rid of them." ...How? He's a cricket guide. Or is he? I honestly think there's a cricket Gemini and a Stalker or puppet Gemini. Or it's one and the same and he's now "atoning" so to speak by helping PCarlo in his cricket form. It feels like Sophia knew Gemini from somewhere because she's like "I see they got Gemini too." And since Sophia knew Carlo as a child from their time at Monad... "Gemini get rid of them" may have been misinterpreted....and subsequently covered up since she was a famous, legendary stalker. Also his name spelled Gemini, to avoid copyright they couldn't go with Jiminy but...they could have also used any other name since most names are based on the original story or versions thereof and the cricket is only ever the cricket. Sticking with Jiminy but spelling it like the astrological twins sign is too much of a coinkydink for me. Gemini was there in the car, the car that Geppetto based his secret workshop in. Mhh..

3. If Camille acted on instinct saving a baby - something beyond her programming - then PuppetRomeo and P are 100% acting on muscle memory from their lives mixed with puppet strength/speed. Which means that Romeo and Carlo were actually pretty good stalkers-in-training. I talked about this in my Romeo appreciation post but I can totally see live Romeo doing fancy moves like that, like he's dancing, and Carlo just wanting to get things done quick and clean. This lends to my theory that something other than a disease must've gotten to at least Carlo because he'd be more skilled than that. (He took down all major puppets and a demigod thing by himself with the occasional Sophia rewind....no way in hell that's just programming, since P is awakening) Then again we don't know how old exactly he was when he died. But Geppetto made him a young adult puppet and the nameless puppet is clearly not a child (assuming it's Carlo's OG body yes?) so it's safe to think he could've handled himself in combat somewhat by that point. Something more powerful did him in and the game is lying to you and I stand by that until the series is finished and I'm either right or have to concede that it just do be like that and his origin story is just kind of "yeah he died. Nothing more than that. Let's get the plot going." But that feels very Un-Neowiz because this world and its characters are full of easter eggs and research and care that I don't think the devs would just handwave something as big as this.

4. Not so much a theory as a comment but imagine seeing the guy you had fun talks with, helped out, nerded out with, listened to music with all of a sudden just kills you and every one of your friends. The evil ending is so devastating and I feel the badest for our girl Eugenie she's so sweet. Eugenie and her country and origin will hopefully get more elaboration, maybe Carlo will sail beyond the seas of Krat. Also that literally no one at the hotel seems to realize P is a puppet. Maybe Antonia since she knew Geppetto. But since you are required to lie and P is a special puppet who can lie....easy mistake to make. Venigni would've realized Law 0 much sooner - that Geppetto can create exceptions. Which also makes the Romeo fight even sadder - because P is exempt every other puppet must attack him...he can't help himself. My bro better be revived with some ergo, we need more of him and I think the devs know by now how popular of a character he is...I think...I hope...(alongside the lords of drip - the BRBH) 5. There's not really a timeskip in the lore. Sophia was trapped for a few years...maybe? She knew Carlo and Romeo since they were children at Monad and she's maaaaybe in her late 20s? early 30s? That means that the time between Carlo's and Romeo's deaths can't have been more than a year or two from when the game started. The King of Puppets was created to cover up the true origin of the Frenzy - that's Romeo and he awakened way before Carlo - his model only looks shabby because he literally exploded into flames, not because it's decades old (if you look at the model textures they might look old and grainy but that's literally everything in this game - look at Ps sock textures).

They were created after Arlecchino - Covenant. Carlo's body proved unstable, volatile - making Geppetto spend more time on a new and improved version of a puppet which is why P looks so human and polished aside from the Legion Arm. I still commend Geppetto for giving his son freckles. He did this for us. Aside from that you'd probably recreate your child the way you knew them and the last G probably heard from his son was the Graduation which would be like 17/18. So he was probably just a little older - like early 20s.

6. Carlo's journey is that of a Heart, a Brain, and Courage. Tying in with the Wizard of Oz, if Dorothy doesn't end up as our player character, I feel like Carlo received his Heart in the first game from Geppetto and Sophia. The second game will focus on recovering more of his memories and personality - the brain. The last game, because it 100% is a trilogy, will focus on the courage to do what's needed to save....Krat? The world? His friends? Who knows - from whatever org Paracelsus belongs to. And then...we go home :)

This is probably why the game has stuck with me well after having played it multiple times. I love it when it gives you material to theorize with but also isn't so open ended that it's not satisfying, that the story is just whatever you want or gives you nothing to work with. Maybe I should do some Link Click crossover doodles mhh.

Charlie sighed as he got out of his beat up old truck and stepped out into the warm night air. A nearby street lamp hummed lowly with electric static and the deafening call of crickets almost made up for the dank smell of concrete and garbage that permeated the air.

He adjusted his belt with a huff, his pants where too lose now he kept forgetting that he'd lost a few pounds since Cas,..... He shook his head trying not to think about it.

He'd stopped taking care of himself a few months after Cas had disappeared. His red hair was always disheveled and his eyebags could rival a racoon. He hadn't shaved in days and had the stubble to prove it. All in all he was a mess.

Despite his preoccupied demeanor, he was a hard worker. He'd had to quite his job at the non-profit lab he used to work at to help support himself and his daughter. He'd also used the opportunity to go back to his old carreer as a night guard. He now worked for the famous 'Freddy Faz Bears Pizzeria' at their mega pizza plex where his wife had disappeared all those months prior.

He'd used the opportunity to do a lot of snooping. He'd uncovered alot about the Faz corporations nefarious deeds of the past but not near enough to answer his burning, all consuming question, "what happened to Cas?" Sadly it'd been weeks since he'd found any leads.

Non-the less he grabbed his trusty flashlight at his small note book, before reaching for his jacket, which....giggled?? and move a bit.

Any of y’all remember the Wings of Fire series???

Well, I’ve been on a bit of a dragon spree and I had binged my entire WoF series while I was stuck in another country with no internet.

So thanks to the binge, I’ve created an adorable cuddle moment between Blue and Cricket, and the love child of Queen Glory and Deathbringer.

The love child is who you’re getting this time.

Meet Cosmicshine, daughter to Queen Glory and her self appointed bodyguard Deathbringer. She is a daddy’s girl (not by her choice lol) and extremely sarcastic and independent just like her mother. Her black scales are non changeable, they can camouflage but not change colors depending on her mood. Anywhere with silver scales are changeable, but usually fall back to the silver color reflexively when not in use. So anywhere you see stars, those are there to stay when Cosmicshine doesn’t have any plans to change em. The rest of her body is exactly like that of a Rainwing, freely changing colors based on her moods, when she intends to camouflage, and just choosing what colors or patterns she feels like at the moment.

Her body type is mainly Rainwing, with several differences showing her Nightwing ancestry. Some of her spines along her neck, back, and certain areas of her tail are notoriously longer than the average Rainwing, following more closely to how Nightwing spines are in length. She’s lankier than the average Rainwing OR Nightwing, with a smaller chest than either parent. Her legs on the other hand, are thicker than a Rainwing’s, being more bulky like the Nightwing, with stubbier claws that have less curve and length than the Rainwing’s famous perfectly hooked claws. Her tail is longer than either of her parents’ and thicker like a Nightwing. It still holds its perfect prehensile nature despite the extra length and thickness. Her elegantly curved horns don’t have the rings on them like Rainwings, instead being a smooth finish like the Nightwings. She also has scales much like those of the Nightwing running down her neck all the way to nearly the end of her tail.

About them

Cricketjump is a pacifist at heart, they don't like the simple idea of hurting another cat, but without any interest in herbs or caring for kits, their heart was set on being a hunter pretty early on as a kit.

But still, their mentor was Bluefur(the deputy at the time), since Star Sunfall wanted to both of them to have a closer relationship, since Bluefur father was the same as Cricketpaw, Stormtail, but Stormtail moved on to Dappletail after Moonflower's death pretty quickly, so that with the fact that he was an absent father, created a strained relationship between his daughters and new kits, since Snow and Blue didn't saw them as siblings, more as their father new kits with Dappletail.

Star Sunfall strategy worked, even when the start of Cricketpaw apprenticeship was a little awkward between them, they slowly warmed up to each other, with Cricketpaw being more open towards their clammates, as they have been very isolated as a kit, and only interacting with their brother.

Suprisingly, they earned their hunter's name early compared to their brother, and as Cricketjump, they continued their duties, till Into the wild, getting Icepaw as an apprentice.

In some of my ideas, i was very tempted to make Cricketjump Graystripe's parent, but i decided against it, since Graystripe would be related to Silverstream then(as Bluefur still has kits with Oakheart, that is the brother of Crookedstar, who's Silverstream's father), so i will be sticking with Willowpelt being his mom for now, and with Cricketjump being childfree.

I want to make Cricketjump helps Icepaw with being more of his own cat, than following his brother's shadow, Firepaw, so they would do that, helping he socialize more, exactly like how Bluefur helped them, so this would create a nice little cicle, and also, i don't know if i make Icepaw a warrior later in life, so the famous Tigerclaw death can still happen, or if i should give it to Firepaw instead, anyway.

Their clothes were a little easier to choose compared to the other cats, since i think the straw hat combines with them, only the two green scarves that look a little odd.

Also, they are a kit created by Su susann, that later was confirmed as canon in the family, as Dappletail's and Runningwind's kit, but i changed it to Stormtail as their sire, because of their interactions in Bluestar's prophecy, and that Cricketkit and Featherkit looks the almost a exact copy of his other daughters.

And curiosity, Cricketkit in Su susann original description, was a brown dappled she-cat with one white hindleg and orange eyes, the kit died as a stillborn. So for Cricket to not look like a big Bluefur copy, i included the white hindleg and orange eyes on their design.

Well, we can’t come out of the original front door of this public house and lots of things have changed. Regular fights and punch ups occurred and there was a regular run in with the local farmer who used to get his muck spreader out and redecorate the exterior and customers cars, as his farm bordered the car park. The old farm house was where the embryonic Sutton Valence Temperance Society met and usually after a session at the Swan followed by one Dick Perrin, the landlord, furnishing the farmer with a decent bottle of Grouse. Nobody knew just what had occurred because everyone was usually too plastered to remember.

So we come out of the boozer and continue our ramble along pass the service station with what was once a little industrial estate down

the side and round the back, I think that planning was obtained and a little estate of houses was built there, of course it was originally owned by a co-director of a company of which I was the Company Secretary. almost immediately opposite were a row of terraced cottages once owned by a certain Dan Mackleden. He who went to America and came back with some wonderful marketing ideas and branded his Bramley Apples, "Dan's Souper Doupers" marketed in a wooden non returnable 30lb box with the cover printed by a local stationary company. One of our irregular members used to live in those cottages but never visited that local pub, or so she said but one of our puddle jumper drivers had his nose broken in there one Saturday evening. Just along the road a bit further there's a raised layby with another row of houses and a farm entrance into a decent cherry orchard or two and we tried our hardest to get involved as this grower had planted new Canadian varieties, like Sunburst or Sunset on Colt 45 rootstock and these were making over £10 per 10lb tray, A £1 a pound wholesale, so lots of commission and I can't remember the grower's name. Perhaps it was Fermor, who nose. We're heading down the road and pass what was a dance theatre before it burnt down but was once a decent farmyard complete with cold stores and access at the top of an awful hill for large lorries. We tried to purchase his twice but were beaten off, as this would've been and excellent depot for our puddle jumpers and there was a decent house onto the adjoining lane with a connecting footpath. The daughter living in the house became a well known film star and at the next crossroads on the left sits another house rented by another film star of old and a few of us regulars at the Sutton Valence Swan one Saturday night were invited to a party there. Once again, nobody still alive can remember anything. Oh dear. The crossroads are famous throughout the area and the farmer previously stated also ran the farmland in the south east corner and immediately opposite, in a row of cottages lived Jacko Jackson, the East Sutton opening fast bowler. Next door to these cottages is a new hospice, where those suffering from an outbreak of MRSA were transferred from the Boxley Unit to recuperate before returning. This was overlooking an excellent cricket ground complete with pavilion. On the other side of the road was the local village sports ground where cricket and hockey were played

I played there once for the Swan team and the whole eleven had one particular attribute, plus the demon farmer bowler mentioned before had a windmill type of action and nobody, even he, never knew just which arm he would bowl from. Very confusing for everyone

His sister stated in a recent post in the “Maidstone, I remember it well “ that he was threatening to retire soon. There’s a footpath to the north of the sports field which circumnavigates the excellent public school where my eldest two won scholarships but ended up at the cheaper option, the grammar school. So we’ve by passed three public houses and an hotel. The first on the main road is now under new management and the hotel has been run by the same sporting family for ever or so it seems and then to the village post office opposite s little chapel that did an excellent Christmas Eve service

Then straight over Boyton Crossroads where we meet up with that aforementioned footpath that Barry Walker is so familiar with and via Bob Skinners farm pass Court Brooms and take a left to pass the naughty girls home again and we’ll end up where the hall with the odd door handles were

Book 54: Beyond Aurora's Wildest Dreams

The full moon hung above the starry night sky below the forest of Ebonvale and Malakar had just tucked his baby daughter, Aurora, into her cradle for the night. The baby tried to stay awake, but, no matter how hard she tried, she ended up dozing off.

Malakar kissed Aurora on the forehead and waved his hand, causing the mobile that was adorned with the characters from the nursery rhyme, Hey Diddle Diddle, to spin gently above her.

"Goodnight, my little star," whispered Malakar. "Sleep well and I will see you in the morning."

With one last glance, Malakar smiled and stepped out of the nursery, gently closing the door behind him. The nursery was now filled with the sounds of crickets from outside, the nightingale's lovely tune and gentle breathing coming from Aurora.

The baby gazed up at the mobile as the cat playing the fiddle, the cow jumping over the moon, the little dog laughing to see such fun, and the dish running away in the spoon spun around and around.

As she looked at the colorful, felt creatures spinning gently, her eyes grew heavy as she drifted off to sleep.

The second she opened her eyes, she had a feeling that she wasn't in the nursery anymore.

Instead, she found herself in the arms of a gentle figure dressed in glowing, flowing robes that were yellow like the sun in the sky, his eyes twinkling like the stars in the night sky. If you haven't already guessed who this charming figure is, this was the Sandman.

Yep, the world-famous Sandman.

The same Sandman that travels to the homes of people young and old and sprinkles his magical sand that grants those people wonderful dreams.

When the Sandman noticed Aurora awake and smiled a gentle smile, she was filled with a sense of safety and security.

"Hello there, Aurora," said the Sandman with a voice that was as gentle as a lullaby, "I've been expecting you."

Aurora, not fearing the gentle figure, let out a gurgle as she smiled a toothless smile.

"Come, let me show you around this wonderful realm," said the Sandman, "you're going to love it here."

Swishing his hand gently, the Sandman held Aurora in his arms as he walked through his domain. The landscape was a beautiful tapestry of glowing bioluminescent flowers, sparkling rivers, and shimmering trees that hummed with soft, melodic tunes. The sky above was painted with swirling constellations and shooting stars, each star twinkling brightly as if welcoming her to this magical realm.

Continuing their journey, moon sprites and fireflies flew above them, creating little trails of light as the Sandman showed little Aurora a starlit waterfall that cascaded into a bioluminescent pool, where colorful, glowing fish swam in playful patterns. Aurora’s eyes lit up with delight as she watched the fish dance and splash in the water, her little hands clapping in joy.

Next, they climbed into a crescent-shaped gondola and floated along a gentle stream through a meadow where the grass was as soft and sparkled with dewdrops that glowed like tiny lanterns. Aurora reached out to touch a dewdrop, her laughter echoing in the dream world.

But soon, Aurora’s energy slowly started to fade. Her eyelids started to grow heavy, and she let out a tiny yawn, snuggling closer to the Sandman.

The Sandman noticed.

"Getting sleepy are we?" asked the Sandman, "well then, we're not far from a special place I have prepared just for you."

The gondola stopped in the middle of a vast, star-clustered ocean where a white gazebo stood tall and proud. Inside, a fluffy little cloud floated, waiting just for Aurora to snuggle up in.

The Sandman carefully placed little Aurora onto the cloud, which molded around her and tucked her in snugly like a sleeping bag. Aurora blinked sleepily at the Sandman. He chuckled softly, reached into his pocket, and gently sprinkled his infamous enchanted sand over Aurora.

The sand caused Aurora to become sleepier and she yawned a great, big yawn.

“Sleep well, sweet Aurora,” the Sandman whispered.  “Until we meet again.”

Aurora’s eyes fluttered closed, and she drifted into a deep, restful sleep, the gentle hum of the dream world lulling her into a state of complete serenity.

Back in the real world, Aurora was resting comfortably, curled up under the blankets, and her thumb propped securely in her mouth. Malakar, who was watching in the doorway leading to the nursery, smiled warmly at the sight of his peaceful daughter before heading back to his own room.

The nursery was quiet, filled only with the soft sounds of Aurora’s gentle breathing and the suckling sounds of her thumb in her mouth. And in that serene silence, the magic of her dreams held her close.
