Navagrahas: the planets of Vedic astrology
Navagrahas fall under the the Hindu Astronomy and play a major part in the Hindu astronomical sphere. The Hindu astronomy whose origin dates back to the time of Vedas is concerned with the placement of nine planets and their influence on the world and on an individual. According to the Hindu astrology, the position of the planets when a person is born determines his potential in life.
The nine planets collectively are called Navagrahas. These 9 planets are worshipped by Hindus to overcome any hindrance, obstacle or bad luck. They are found mostly in all the temples and faithful believers pray to the Navagrahas before they pray to any other deity.
Out of those nine planets, seven are named after the planets in the Solar System and the other two are actually demons who managed their way into this group by trickery – Rahu and Ketu. Depending upon their location in the planetary system, they are deemed either auspicious or inauspicious. While Navagrahas are found in every temple, there are some temples that are solely dedicated to them. One such temple is the Navagraha temple located in the outskirts of Ujjain.
Effects of Navagrahas – Vedic Astrology
In Hindu Astrology, Navagrahas affects a person’s happiness, success and all-round prosperity. The good and bad, positive and negative influences of each of these nine planets are results of factors like the specific location of the planets on the birth chart, etc. Planets possessing Sattva nature are Jupiter, Sun and Moon. Planets bearing rajas are Venus and Mercury while planets with Tamas nature are Mars, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu.
These nine planets in vedic astrology are treated as deities with specific powers, nature and characteristic qualities depending on what each of these offers – positive or negative to people.
1.Sun (Surya): In the group of other planets, he is normally shown facing towards east, standing in the center. Around him are the rest of the planets facing in all different direction but not towards each other. He rides are chariot with one wheel which is pulled by seven horses symbolizing the seven colors of white light and seven days of the week. He is also known as Ravi.
2.Moon (Chandra): In the images, he is never portrayed as a complete person. Only his upper body with two hands holding a lotus each, riding a chariot pulled by 10 horses is shown. He is also known as Soma.
3.Mars (Mangala): Mangala is a Ferocious God holding with two holding weapons and 2 in mudras. His transport is a ram.
4.Mercury (Budha): Budha has four hands and rides on a chariot or Lion. Out of which, three of his hands holds a sword, a shield and a mace and the fourth hand is in a mudra.
5.Jupiter (Brihaspathi): He is the teacher of Gods and is praised in Rig Veda. He is shown sitting on a chariot pulled by 8 horses each showing one branch of knowledge.
6.Venus (Sukra): Sukra is the teacher of the Demons. He has four hands and rides on a chariot pulled by 8 horses. Three of his hands hold a staff, a rosary, a vessel of gold while the fourth hand is held in a mudra.
7.Sani (Saturn): Sani is a god who makes or breaks fortunes by his planetary position for which individuals fear him. He is shown with four hands riding on a chariot or a buffalo or even a vulture. He has three hands in which he holds an arrow, a bow and a javelin while his other hand is held in a mudra.
8.Rahu: He somewhat looks like Budha (Mercury) but both Gods differ in fundamental nature. Just like how Budha rides a white lion, he is shown riding a black lion. But just like Budha, he carries all the same weapons.
9.Ketu: In Sanskrit, Ketu means comet. It is said that he has a tail of a serpent in his body and his nature very much matched to that of a comet. In pictures, he shown riding a vulture and holding a mace.

The rules are simple! Tag people and name a character you want to know more about! If you want to let the person you tagged decide who to showcase, then don’t name a character and they can pick somebody. Easy! The person who is tagged will then bold the remarks below which apply to their character &, if they want to, include a picture with their reply! The second one I was tagged by @neriney for. the eclipse is so good they were like lets allude to everything that’s gonna happen in the rest of the show in such tiny details that seemingly dont mean anything and you wont get it at all until you do.
they told us so much in the first ep they told us about the cult (chadok saying "faith") they told us about chadok and dika (mr. sit telling ayan "they were on good terms for a while. then, he suddenly quit.") they told us about akk and the curse. they told us about thua (kan saying "you should have just said it nicely" & him replying "you wouldn't listen"). it’s so interesting honestly how it set up everyone to have such consistent characterization but framed it & everyone as a mystery to puzzle out. bc thats what you do even if the focus is on akk and aye. youre wondering about everything else without really paying attention to it.
like even waree for example - her conversation with sani in ep1 leaves you thinking ooh does she know something about the curse? - but she knows nothing. she shuts down sani’s questioning because that’s the best way to stay safe in this school, she tells her “if you want to work here for long, don’t get involved in anything that isn’t your business.”
so i actually think it’s possible she’s just as afraid of the idea of the curse as anyone else, and it simply pairs with her rigidness and the need for control over her classroom. and control over the school such as in ep 10 with the way she’s willing to put the needs of the world remembers beneath the needs of the school as a whole. she's very rattled in that scene.
...but then at the same time, in ep4 she says “actually, i don’t want to punish ayan that badly”, which i always thought was an interesting comment, since she was the one who started it. it isn't until late episode 12, after the curse has been exposed, chadok has quit, and the school rules are being adjusted, that she invites ayan to share history articles with her. (tbh i think a part of her has always been a little pleased that he took her subject so seriously.) like...she’s still the same scary teacher - she snaps at the class to finish their exams in the next second, but still, at the end, she begins to show an openness to her students that wasn’t there before, that was stifled by the overhanging threat of the curse (which in actuality was a mixture of fear, oppression, and societal expectations) just as much as everything/everyone else.

It’s really interesting watching reaction channels and checking out some comments on social media about something you’re really enjoying. I start to wonder if I’m watching the same thing lol
I’m not saying they’re wrong or I’m right. My interpretations are mine, but wanted to ramble a bit after The Eclipse Series episode 11 and decided here was as good a place as any lol. I really should find myself some friends that watch BLs too :)
1. They thought Aye saw his uncle jump from the cliff - I assumed it was just a nightmare/scenario Aye had created. He was always presented as present Aye with his hairstyle and the fact he was wearing the necklace, which he would have received after the fact.
2. Teacher Sani and the picture. How? - well she took over from Dika so I just assumed she found it amongst anything he left behind as seems she took over his desk. Looked like she took it from the pages of (what I can only guess was Dika’s) student welfare manual, and if he and Chaddok were strained he probably didn’t care what got left behind.
3. But Thua was bullied so he should know better - don’t get me wrong outing someone is bad and would never agree to his actions, but people saying he’s been bullied so why would he do it… pretty sure in part his bullying is because of the rules and ‘curse’ both of which Akk has been supporting until recently, so if I was Thua and saw Akk frolicking in a pool with his boyfriend while (at that scene’s point in time at least) Kan had spent years?? pushing him away and even though they’d got close again he was hiding behind Bruce Wayne, so yeah I’d probably not prioritise how Akk might get treated when revealing everything either. Again, I don’t agree with what he did, but he’s a 17/18 year old kid making a knee jerk reaction to the situation, provoked by Aye trying to shut him down and protect Akk.
4. Why did Thua choose now? - Akk just got the best boy award, Aye was clearly supporting him. Then outside, the protesters show up and suddenly Aye is calling out in their favour. I get why Thua did it and had had enough and spoke out. As I said before I don’t agree to everything (ie the outing) but get why he did it. He was calling out Aye, the fact his love (and likely unknown to Thua, Akk’s mental state) had meant Aye no longer tried to get Akk to tell the truth and instead was encouraging him during the ceremony. Aye had presented himself as someone who would expose the curse, had in some ways pushed Thua from his neutral place, the ‘curse’ might not have been active but it and the rules remained in the background. At that point, Kan still wanted them to be a secret, maybe Thua thought his step dad would have been less ‘rough’ if not for his experience of the curse, after the doll incident I felt like he was shaken because any faith he had had left in the system, the teachers enacting justice, protecting their students was extinguished. So Aye was in love, the protesters being manhandled, he probably saw himself as the only option for the truth to come out.
5. A missing scene? Was there a time jump? The group made up really fast - I agree to some extent about the fast turn around but I personally didn’t have an issue with it or get confused thinking I missed something. They did talk and get everything out in the open and from what we know from an earlier episode, or at least Akk, Wat and Kan, the group resolves conflict the same day, doesn’t let it fester. Thua said he’d accept whatever Kan felt he should do about him. Not going to lie, I wouldn’t have minded a ‘sorry’ in Thua’s explanation… ‘sorry I did it but I did what I believed was right’… after that Thua went home as his mum was waiting so I assumed it was the end of the school day. Skip to the next day, or maybe it was a couple, and the short film discussion. I went with the idea that this was Thua’s apology, he’d help them which would help in particular keep Kan (and Wat) being exposed as liars, and also help back track the outing of Akk and Aye (any investigation into Akk and the cause of the curse I presume will be revealed next week - this is solely about covering for Wat and Kan and making the film).
6. Kan and Thua being cute - now these two… personally, I don’t know if I could be as forgiving as Kan but a) he loves Thua, and has finally been able to be brave and say it - love is a crazy thing, b) if he can forgive Akk’s actions, he can forgive Thua’s, c) Thua is helping with the film and to cover for them so making amends that way, d) Kan’s part of a friends group that resolves conflict quickly, e) maybe he has his own guilt as he believed in the curse, and he had kept Thua at a distance for so long. Maybe he felt bad he didn’t notice what was going on with the curse or Thua. That last bit is just me maybe-ing but whatever the reason they stay together, move on, and he takes another brave step forward, and I’m happy for him.
Ahhh that’s better. Just wanted to ramble out what I’d been thinking. Nobody might ever see this but phew, feels good. (Watch next episode tell me everything at the end of this episode was a dream and everybody actually hates each other and everybody is crying buckets!!!)

The Key to Unlock the Inner Door of Spirituality - Spiritual Awakening Radio Podcast
Tumblr media
There has always been a Living Mystic Path of the Masters operating in the world across the many centuries, across the ages of humanity. The Path of the Masters or Way of the Saints is in possession of the key that unlocks the inner door of spirituality: the embodied wisdom of qualified teachers, competent masters, that guide souls into developing their own meditation practice to successfully explore inner space, the path that ascends back to the Supreme Being in the Ocean of Love and Spirit. Here and there, from time to time since the beginning of time schools of spirituality have appeared as Lights in the darkness. Eventually they fade away, or sometimes get commandeered and transformed into more conventional earthly materialistic religions, with their sacred texts edited and their original saints declared to be heretics. As old branches of the mystic tree of life fall to the ground and turn to dust they are replaced with new living branches. "Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end." (Seneca) Such has been the history of the irrepressible saints and mystics on planet earth, this world of changes (samsara).

Bawa Harnam Singh once asked Hazur Baba Sawan Singh, "'What difference is there between your faith and Guru Nanak's teachings?'
"'None at all', the Great Master replied. Nanak, Kabir, Dadu, Paltu, Tulsidas, Jagjiwan, Shams Tabriz, Maulana Rumi, Khwaja Hafiz, Mansur, Baba Farid, Mujaddid Al Sani, and all other Saints to whatever country, clime or religion they belonged, preached the same truth. The principles, the method, the teachings always remain the same, though the 'key' is transferred from one house to another after some time. It is said that 'God fulfills Himself in many ways lest one good old custom should corrupt the world'. At one time the 'key' to unlock the Inner Door was in the house of Kabir. Then it shifted to Guru Nanak, where it remained for ten generations. Then it went to Tulsi Sahib, from where it came to Swami Ji (Seth Shiv Dayal Ji). This is the law of nature. Change becomes essential after a certain period. You will find that the followers of such great Masters have totally forgotten their real teachings, though it has been only a few centuries since They departed from the world. The method of spiritual exercises, which was the essence of their faith during the time of the previous Masters, is quite unknown to their followers of today.
"'Now coming back to Sant Mat, it is not a new Path. It is as old as the world, and was born with man. There is one and the same Path for God realization for all times and for all countries and races. Saints have been coming to all countries and in all ages. Their way of life may differ, according to the customs, climate, characteristics and conditions of the country to which they belonged or the time in which they came, but their teachings, whether given in Sanskrit, Persian, Hebrew, Chinese or Arabic, always remain the same.'" (Hazur Baba Sawan Singh)

Agony in the Sound of Silence
Tumblr media
Disclaimer: These characters belong to Eiichiro Oda, and the Funimation English Dub series. Also, I just wanted it to be known that I watch the show in the English dub, so those are the voices I imagine for the characters. No monetary gain is being made from this drabble. Set after Episode 405 titled “Eliminated Friends – The Final Day of the Straw Hat Crew” because that episode broke me into a sobbing mess on the couch. More in the Author’s Note at the end.
 --------------
Luffy screams so much that his throat burns, his lungs heave, and his stomach threatens to propel all the food he ate earlier upwards. This couldn’t be happening! This couldn’t actually be real! Could it? And if so, how? How could five people, a reindeer, a cyborg, and a skeleton just vanish into the air without a trace? Even with knowing of Kuma’s Devil Fruit powers, the entire ordeal simply defies every case of reason. For that, Pirate Captain Strawhat Luffy laments, his howling shriek echoing throughout the mangrove trees on the archipelago as he slams his fists and body into the cold, unforgiving ground. There is agony in the sound of silence that is normally filled by his boisterous crew.
 ---------------------
He would rather be dead than live in a world without his faithful crew.
 ---------------------
His crew… They all mean the absolute world to Monkey D. Luffy.
 ------------------------
All that time ago, his first recruitment into the crew had been the infamous “Demon Pirate Hunter Zoro” after they fought Axe Hand Morgan together. Even following his critical injuries in his battle with Mihawk, Zoro had sworn to Luffy that he would never lose again lest he cause insult to his captain, the man who they believed would be the future King of the Pirates. Seeing the nearly lifeless body of his loyal, dragon-spirited first mate lying on the ground as he fought to protect his captain and crewmates would haunt Luffy forever. Usopp, the former cowardly liar from Syrup Village had fought so valiantly with his trusty slingshot to protect Zoro and Brook from Kuma before he, too, fell. Black Leg Sani, the love cook from the Baratie, had joined the crew fourth, and Luffy watched in pure horror as the blonde nearly shattered his leg attempting to avenge Usopp before he was gone as well. Nami, their resident thief, navigator, and money lover had technically been Luffy’s second recruit, though she didn’t acknowledge being a member of the crew until after Sanji due to her former hatred of pirates. Her scream for someone to rescue her like Luffy, Zoro, Usopp, and Sanji did when they destroyed Arlong Park would follow Luffy to the end of time. Chopper, their fluffy, cute reindeer doctor who wanted to travel the world was cut down brutally. Robin, formerly the elusive and cunning Miss All Sunday, the woman who just wanted to live was the last to fall as reached out for Luffy. Though Franky and Brook had both only been with them a short time, they already melded with the crew so well that Luffy wept as they disappeared as well.
 --------------------
As the light from Kuma’s hand shines, Luffy is smiling, knowing that even if he dies, at least he’ll be reunited with his friend, his nakama, his Straw Hat crew family again.
 --------------------
Author’s Note: This episode broke me. I literally was bawling with tears on the couch on my fiancé’s chest during the entire scene with Bink’s Brew playing in the background as it showed the photos of all the Straw Hat Pirates smiling and being happy after being accepted by Luffy. I kept saying how it wasn’t fair and that if they all ended up being dead that I was rage quitting watching One Piece and that I was never going to watch it or speak of it ever again. My fiancé thought that was funny and told me that I didn’t spend the entire three years of our relationship watching One Piece with him for the first time (for me) just to rage quit that many episodes into the show. (I told him that I absolutely would quit despite being that far into the show because I genuinely have come to love all of the Straw Hats even though I still have not forgiven Franky for what he did to Usopp in Water Seven…) Anyway, I thought that I needed to write this little piece because if I was so distraught over the crew’s presumed deaths, I couldn’t even imagine what Luffy must be feeling. Thus, ta-da, this little story was born. As always, likes, comments, and kudos are greatly appreciated. Until next time, dear readers! Have an amazing day, afternoon, or night!

Halfway: The Eclipse (Part 3)
Continuing from:
Part 1 about The eclipse, the curse, the story told.
Part 2 about Uniform Regulation & Student Welfare Department.
Notes: Again, all interpretations, especially in this last part, are (very) personal.
=========================
Being a teenager, self-acceptance, and mental health.
One thing that this show has been comprehensively telling us is the struggle of being teenagers carrying different types of burdens or baggage. They live within their own bubble and understanding of life. Repressed, rigid, hot-headed, reserved, unhappy, and obsessive, but firm, courageous, and faithful. Growing up with different norms and being exposed to varying wisdom, each has a different pace of questioning themselves whether what they believe is right or wrong, as well as coming to terms with themselves. Sometimes we forget that the journey of understanding life value and learning to accept oneself are two different things.
Sani said to Wasuwat, "But you know what, Wasuwat? You don't always need to do as others expect of you." Unfortunately, that's unlikely to happen with these kids, at least not without extra fights. We've seen the constant pressure and expectation by the school and parents on them. We have yet to see moments of understanding from the adults towards the kids other than with the moms (Thua's, Akk's, and Aye's) and, slightly occasionally, with Sani. So far, we've seen almost no other adults in the show giving significant guidance to the kids, except, maybe, Dika, who, as both Akk and Aye admitted, was very understanding of them. They were mostly on their own while going through a journey of self-discovery and self-acceptance within the premise of the strictly regulated school. They were trying to be honest with themselves, and to some extent, with others, regardless of the struggle, against both the external force and the internal conflict. All to find the right place or create a better place.
The World Remember group is very upfront with the fight to have a better school environment. Their protests are central to the story, significant events that awaken the awareness of the other students to start questioning the obsolete school regulation and how it violates their rights. Their protests and Aye's arrival at Suppalo are separate entities, as opposed to how Akk would like to believe. As Aye said to his mom, with or without him, the group will continue with their protests. And, taking a good look, Aye feels a bit distant from the group. He supports them, yes, but not a part of it. It's also important to remember that they were protesting to persuade, not to force, their ideals on others. They questioned the uniform rule, wanted less violence, and wished the school would investigate the 'curse.'
I think what Wat said in Akk's room about the different ways of thinking between the World Remembers group and other students, or themselves, is an important point to be explicitly made in the show.
Akk: "I can't help but wonder sometimes. We are all raised and taught the same way. But why do they think differently than us?"
Wat: "No, we aren't. Think about it carefully. Those who think differently read different books, watch different movies or appreciate different types of art than us. You are what you eat. What you take builds who you are."
The remarks were a point of realization, at least among the three best friends, in understanding the protests and figuring out where they stand. Specifically, to Akk, this also marks him starting an actual effort to understand Aye further. This is highly biased, but I need to add that Wat might have been aware of this way earlier. After all, he has been consuming different types of media from his friends for a while. He's the only character shown to have a specific interest regarding his future aspirations despite it goes against what has been expected by his family.
Again, the highlight is that this is a story of high school life, about teenagers with burdens and baggage, trying to navigate their lives with the influence of a strict school system that forces them to be 'uniform' and to restrain their voice. They're prone to make mistakes, with or without realizing it, with or without the intention to hurt those they love. They're still on their journey of becoming a better judge of what is right or wrong, or what is in between, for them to follow. With such an environment as Suppalo, it's no surprise the process would be intense. Also, I might be wrong about this. But, while the generational clash was already pretty clear in the open and happened on all layers (i.e., student-teachers, children-parents, young-old teachers), that was not the case with the clash among peers. We've seen fights in varying levels of violence between Akk and Aye, Akk and Kan, Kan and the juniors in the toilet, and between the World Remembers group and students who opposed them. But was that all? I think the show will give us more peer conflict, perhaps, a challenge to their friendship. And while it might be heartbreaking, or not, it would be a pivotal step in their journey of self-understanding and self-acceptance.
Another important thing that this show is trying to show is the connection between indoctrination within a school system, or education in general, and the mental health of the students and teachers. As Thua's stepdad said to Chadok: "Don't be too disciplined, or you might lose your damn mind." I think that was a critical remark. Maybe, he knew more than just about the curse.
That aside, from the start, Chadok had been presented as one of the strict school authorities. As the Head Teacher of the Student Welfare Department, he uses and even abuses his power over the students. I don't need to mention how he specifically did those to Akk while putting the responsibility to maintain Suppalo's reputation solely on his shoulders. Also, how he punished the World Remembers group by humiliating them in front of other students. [Additional notes: There are seven members of the prefect club, but why do I feel the pressure is only on Akk? Sure, Kan and Wat helped, but I think it was more of the fact they're friends. I might be overthinking, but I can't help wondering why it is like that.]
This remark by Chadok was very disturbing to me, "If you can't abide by the school rules, you will grow up to be law violators. Criminals." There are some articles discussing the connection between brainwashing and mental health. I haven't had a chance to dig those, so I won't talk much about it. To put it shortly, we cannot underestimate the stress of pursuing education under such indoctrination. We cannot fathom the long-term effect of such a system on the students and even the teachers who oppose such an approach, thinking about Dika and Sani.
Suppalo is illustrated as a highly prestigious school with a reputation to hold. It should have a way of attracting students and new teachers to study and teach there. But what happened once they got inside? Most students would just give in to the indoctrination and strict regulations, students like Akk who comes with a scholarship would want to find a way to give back to the school (i.e., by joining the student prefects club), but the World Remembers would stand for themselves and other. Most teachers would stay working there for a long time, so they might choose to be obedient to the authorities and away from things out of their concerns. But Sani and Dika would question whatever they think or feel is not right. We saw how Chadok reacted to Sani, but so far too little we knew how it was with Dika.
=========================
I'll end my halfway thoughts here. There is still so much in my head, but I might write them all later as separate posts after more things got revealed. Again, thank you to @colourme-feral for mentioning the possible discussion about mental health at the school in the show, and of course, I need to include that.

Helaman Chapter 9, Part 4. "Bloody Rags."
Tumblr media
26 Behold I say unto you: Go to the house of Seantum, who is the brother of Seezoram, and say unto him—
27 Has Nephi, the pretended prophet, who doth prophesy so much evil concerning this people, agreed with thee, in the which ye have murdered Seezoram, who is your brother?
28 And behold, he shall say unto you, Nay.
29 And ye shall say unto him: Have ye murdered your brother?
30 And he shall stand with fear, and wist not what to say. And behold, he shall deny unto you; and he shall make as if he were astonished; nevertheless, he shall declare unto you that he is innocent.
31 But behold, ye shall examine him, and ye shall find blood upon the skirts of his cloak.
32 And when ye have seen this, ye shall say: From whence cometh this blood? Do we not know that it is the blood of your brother?
33 And then shall he tremble, and shall look pale, even as if death had come upon him.
34 And then shall ye say: Because of this fear and this paleness which has come upon your face, behold, we know that thou art guilty.
35 And then shall greater fear come upon him; and then shall he confess unto you, and deny no more that he has done this murder.
36 And then shall he say unto you, that I, Nephi, know nothing concerning the matter save it were given unto me by the power of God. And then shall ye know that I am an honest man, and that I am sent unto you from God.
Seantum means "instead, hatred of the one beside."
The verb שנא (sane') is identical to the noun שנא (shena') meaning sleep, save for the symbols that at some point in the middle ages were added to the ancient Hebrew text by the Masoretes to preserve its assumed original pronunciation. Our verb שנא (sane') means to hate and is the antithesis of the verb אהב ('aheb), which means to love.
This latter verb is not as emotionally charged as our English verb to love; it mostly describes a motion towards someone or something in order to acquire it, join with it or become intimately acquainted with it. Our verb שנא (sane') means precisely the opposite: a motion away from someone or something with the intent to disassociate from it and forget about it.
Our verb may describe hate between people (Genesis 26:27, Judges 11:7, Isaiah 60:15) but frequently also of YHWH towards people or some of their behaviors (Amos 6:8, Hosea 9:15, Malachi 2:16).
From this verb derive:
The adjective שניא (sani'), meaning the hated (the hated wife; Deuteronomy 21:15 only).
The feminine noun שנאה (sin'a), meaning a hating or hatred (Numbers 35:20, Deuteronomy 1:27, Proverbs 25:10).
ant= alternative to
um=
The feminine juxtaposition עמה ('umma), meaning against, beside.
Seantum is apparently alighed with Ceezoram, the "faith of the people."
Nephi's objective for sending a delegation to the House of Hatred after the murder of a Chief Judge is to confirm there is evidence of a murder and declare the situation "ritually impure", meaning it wasn't an accident, but the result of a sinful pattern. This is indicated by the presence of the pallor in the subject of the interrogation:
"Most of the parshah of Tazria tells us the laws of diagnosing and quarantining a metzora (leper).
It begins that if a person notices a white patch develop on his skin, he should be brought before a Kohen, and only a Kohen can pronounce a person ritually impure on account of tzaraat.
If the Kohen sees that hair inside the patch changed from its original color to white or that the white patch appears “deeper” than the skin around it,1 it is definitely tzaraat, and he pronounces the person ritually impure. If, however, he doesn't see one of these signs, the Kohen will quarantine the person for seven days.
On the seventh day, the Kohen reexamines the person. If he sees one of the signs or if the patch became bigger, he is pronounced impure. If it becomes smaller or darker than the usual shades of tzaraat,2 it is not tzaraat. If it is the same as it was during the first examination, the Kohen quarantines him for another seven days.
On the seventh day,3 the Kohen reexamines him as before, and the same rules apply, except that this time, if the patch remains the same, it is not tzaraat, and he is pronounced ritually pure.
In a case that the Kohen determined that it was indeed not tzaraat, the person must wash his clothes and go to the mikvah, and he is pure. Even though he is not a metzora, he was considered impure, but at a lesser level of impurity."
One must never have blood on one's clothes. The shedding of blood is forbidden. All of the steps leading to the shedding of blood- hatred, bigotry, homophobia, Pro-Life, Anti-Semitism, transphobia, racism, all of these are ritually impure practices that lead to the shedding of blood and they are also forbidden.
As for how Nephi came to understand all of these things "by the Power of God", the Value in Gematria is 12154, יבאה‎ד‎, yebah d, similar to obadiah, The verb עבד ('abad) means to work or serve, and the noun עבד ('ebed) denotes someone who works: from a slave to a hired expert. The Greek equivalent of this noun is δουλος (doulos).
This means Nephi is a "skilled worker" who is able to default to the Law and the Spirit interchangeably due to the fact he is very well trained in the Torah and lives in an upright manner that excels at demonstrating said training.
He is the opposing force to a House of Brotherly Hatred.
